One of the great fashion textbooks of the 16th century: a time-lapse view of fashion evolution from 1508 to 1564.

There are very interesting views of armour. See the different options for gloves to wear with plate gauntlets. In two cases they have mail on the palm!!

There is an arquebus on a man dressed for hunting in 1536, and a few pistols (!) from 1553 onwards. (never imagined pistols will ever make it to this page...)

🔥 I feel like Darius suffers from a lesser case of 'character had said they love this food once, now it's their whole personality' effect in regards of sewing. It is not as bad as some other cases because at least it is based in canon, but sewing often becomes his main interest in fanon, over even abominations. And also he is turned in everyone's fashion advisor, which i don't think he would do it to that extent?

But also fandom really ignores fanon potential to explore Darius' love of acting and theatre? When he might have been hardcore about proper acting since childhood. And it feels like his innovations regarding abomination magic are also strangely sidelined and his abomination form is taken for granted (like, Alador is always called a genius, but Darius isn't?).

Idk, i wish fandom would let him have multiple interests that are not just about what he can provide for other characters. Which is a part of a larger problem, but still.
