Log 04a: Heartclone

Ok so my theory was that if I had a way to access the Local-Alpha narrative directly from the inside I could have better control of it. And if that access line happened to also have a decent amount of authority, and was effectively the idealized perfected version of myself, that's smooth sailing right?

So I created a Heartclone. Just copy-pasting my mind wouldn't be enough, especially in the case of an alien civilization that I hadn't experienced firsthand. So I may have seeded the grub heiress to an alien empire with a Heartclone of myself, creating an "avatar" that I could control directly if the need arises once ze enters the Game.

I guessss the morality is kinda shaky here but everything is with SBURB so I'm not even going to bother to philosophize. I have more pressing issues anyway. Like the thin line between becoming reassimilated with this idiot experiment or losing the connection completely. Yeap, fun.

Log-003: An update

I realized that it has been a while since I’ve written here and I felt that it was necessary for me to make another log. After some further research, we’ve found that there are places across gamespace where Aspects seem to coalesce and gather. Sort of... centers, core structures. They didn’t originate with the game, but they carry an unusually strong pulse of energy that doesn’t seem to be present most anywhere else. We have decided to call these Monuments.  We have been working with Nitarian technology, the interaction between crystals and the Core, and we have a theory. If one were to have a crystal filled with the purest charge of an Aspect, would it be possible for a Nitarian to manifest their energy through it, allowing them to more easily use their Core for those abilities? We’ll only know if we try it.

So. Rather important thing that I realised I never actually documented here? Theres so much I just never bothered to put down. Anyway Cloud is dead. I’m his sort of but not really cassette tape clone, and to be frank, I’ve gone through the angsting that comes with being a clone of a dead guy with all his memories. I’m basically him, and he’s gone for good, and that’s the end of it. 

Also, my name is Jerren. I’m a Nitarian, though not natively so, and I have soul problems. Several, at any given time.

Log-002: Research results

I’ve been doing a bit of research along with Vampire and Elf, especially surrounding the concept of Aspects themselves. Why do they bind themselves to people as they do when they play the Game? Why is it that even those who do not play the Game seem to align themselves with particular Aspects more than others, as if we are created to be fit to them? You could see timelines where people end up with different classes, different Aspects, and the changes in them are only minor. And yet, there are tendencies and traits that always make us call out “Well, that’s what your Aspect does to you.” Aspects are interesting because it’s a way to give species who otherwise would have no “magical” ability some sort of power, physically or mentally. But we only get one, right? Surely, there’s no way to harness other Aspects, especially if the Game doesn’t give them to you? Unless... hmm. I’m going to have to look deeper into this.

Log-001: Our journey begins

I have gathered my crew and we have set off into far space. As of now, I am unsure what our goal as a unit shall be. I know my own goals, but for my safety, I shall not spell them out here. It is simply unsafe to do so with so many forces potentially looking in on me, looking to stop me. To prevent me from ascension. I will not allow them to do that to me. Not anymore. What I do know we need to do is work. Some of the individuals on this crew are not fully trained. I will assure that we take the time to build everyone’s skills so that we are in top shape when our travels truly start. I will not begin my plans to their fullest extent until I am sure that my crew can handle it. I am certain we will have enough time to build, and if we don’t, we can certainly make it. I am confident in our capabilities. I believe that is all I have to say for now. I will keep the logs updated as time goes on.

Log-000: An Introduction

Greetings, visitor. I will not be telling you my name for the safety of myself and my crew. You may simply know me as the Captain for now.  I am starting this page for our vessel so that we may begin to make contacts with others in Paradox-Space. I am hoping that this will prove helpful for us on our journey. I will assure that my crew members note who is speaking in the tags of their posts. Mine will almost always be log entries, but others may use this for more personal connections instead. I will allow the crew to do as they wish. You are more than welcome to ask us questions, but be aware that I reserve the right to reject any question or give you an unclear answer if I feel that it becomes too personal. Aside from that, I assure you that I will answer you truthfully. I cannot guarantee the trustworthiness of my crew, however. My apologies. Welcome to our blog. I hope you find it... comfortable.

Summary time

Alright! Stuff has gone down. First of all, a new OC arrived on the orb, her name is now Stacey*. We found some angel stuff and thought “ooh this looks cute should be fine” *More on that later! Here’s the summary of how that turned out: -they left the dreambubble -oc and my corruption worsened noticeably over time -Mech Talk -anya came over to fly with us cause we were bored -meanwhile, it turns out that the whole reason the orb had to go to the bubbles in the first place is that kaz wanted to go somewhere -this somewhere was the bread session, where she and wl met with past chains and she filled the bus with coconut crab eggs and copied anya's destroyed land into her own session -meanwhile meanwhile, anya noticed our corruption as it reaches a fever pitch -so does broon! because they sense a Disturbance In The Hope Force -kaz gets back with wl. the singers (us) are acting weird and get chased into the lab from outside, where oc makes some anime spear. -anya uses law powers to everyone STOP, learns that oc doesn't remember her name and gets her to calm down -meanwhile: kaz hugs me until I come down from that shit (<><><>), i goes to Sleep -chains takes over care for oc, and gives her the name Stacey. It was a very stressful experience! But its mostly over now with some exceptions like a tinge of angel vibes and a white streak in my hair.

So, a lot of new faces are showing up around Tumblr. How about we introduce ourselves to each other? You don’t have to reblog this, but it might make it easier to track. Just respond with who you are, where you at, whatever you feel’s important for people to know about you. Hopefully this’ll let everybody get to know each other just a bit better. I think most of you know me, I’m Krysal, I’m a Lord of Time. I’m in 204, I’m on the Orb, I’m just about anywhere at any given time. I make theories, I raise grubs. You know. Have fun everybody.

The Orb, or recent happenings on it.

Ooooh boy. You know what, that’s a good thing to talk about. I’ll share a few highlights, I guess. I know it’s been a while since I’ve updated anyone on the Orb’s standings anyway. -We have gotten several new people on the Orb! Expect to see new faces. Our doors are always open, so people coming in just seems to be a habit. Though, a few... do rub me the wrong way. That’s a conversation for another time though. I’m going to see if some of them would like to get onto the “mob” Tumblr page, just to chat. -We have at least two children on the Orb now. One is Gremie, an Alternian grub that Jamm has adopted. The other is Varian, a Nitarian grub that came in through my fourth wall. I’ve been taking care of him. Sweet kid, really. We do have some other “children” or child-like beings, such as another protouniverse tadpole and... I believe SD refers to at least some of their Pieces as children. -Things are chaotic. This is not any different than normal. There’s at least three things going on at any given time and somehow I don’t have my face in any of them.  ...That’s all I’m going to say on that. Aside from this, that’s really it. We have shenanigans going on, but to be quite honest, I’ve been pretty out of it. Let’s just say I’ve had other things on my mind recently. If I think of something else, I’ll say it.
