We are getting ready for International Women’s Day on March 8th by featuring many women producers that we collaborate and partner with. Today we give the spotlight to Daniela Gutierrez from Costa Rica who produces the Finca San Luis single origin espresso. ⠀ ⠀ Daniela is a young and passionate coffee producer who wants to promote the coffee in the Tarrazu region and bringing more opportunities to her community. Finca San Luis coffee has a milky caramel note, dark chocolate, and sweet toffee finish. Alta Mogiana os located north São Paulo with border of South Minas Gerais produce some delicious coffee due to microclimate, elevation, terroir, mountains, and many other factors. There is about 100 coffee tree varieties but only few are comercialize. This tree is yellow catucai and red catucai are so similar but have a slight different flavors. There is so many variables for Coffee such microclimate, elevation, terroir, location facing east or west, and many other things. It’s simple fascinating to learn about all of that.
