Sekibetsu (A Farewell with Regret) by StuffnStuff- (Rated: E, Graphic Depictions of Violence) Do you like amazingly good insight into character’s mental states and wonderful characterization? This fic honestly is amazing, I binged like all the chapters in two days or something and the author is so sweet too! As someone who does have triggers, they’re suuuuper nice for giving us readers warnings for each chapter!! Don’t let the long author’s note at the beginning scare you off. A wonderful fic I am happily subscribed to~

The Gay Cubby by hybridempress- (Rated: G) Honestly just adorableness in a fic!! It’s a high-school AU and honestly that already has me interested! And then, guess what, they do a wonderful job of describing Kunikida’s anxiety and both he and Dazai sound so cute I wanna hug them!!!

Metal Casing by howlingrabbit- (Not Rated, Major Character Death) I don’t feel like I can say much more about this fic than I have in my comment I left on it but just…. your heart will hurt after this. It’s not a happy fic but it’s wonderfully written.

Heavy by Misila- (Rated: T) More amazing looks into Dazai’s mental state, this one detailing Dazai having a breakdown (nondescript) and Kunikida coming to his aide. Very sweet.

even death may die by necklace- (Rated: T) Like near-death experiences and shitty jokes? This is a great fic, and the hospital scene at the end breaks me. “Kunikida that’s gay.”

Poetic by MikeWritesThings- (Rated: G) Okay, I just want to hug this author because this is so fucking adorable? They write Kunikida really well and he’s just a big lovable dork who won’t admit he writes sappy poetry and that kills my heart please protect this big bean.

Jellyfish by Misila- (Rated: T) This is ADORABLE. A date at the aquarium? Kunikida knowing about Dazai’s struggles and doing his best as his significant other to help him combat those struggles? Hell yes.

Does Dazai Osamu Is Gay? by juniorsleuths- (Rated: T) Oblivious Kunikida strikes again! This is so cute and sweet!! The ending made me “aw” out loud, sweet Kuni-bean!

The End Of The World(?) by hybridempress- (Rated: G) More adorable sick fics!!! This time, Kunikida is the sick one, and it’s adorable just how Dazai does his very best to take care of the Kuni-bean!

Shared Spaces by xVerdelet- (Rated: G) Okay this one is a bit of a cheat since there’s Oda and Chuuya in there, but I can say that it’s an adorable fic no matter! A cuddly Dazai is the best Dazai!

Reflections by Mel_S_Bancroft- (Rated: G) HONESTLY JUST FUCK ME UP WITH PROPOSAL FICS. Beautiful writing, beautiful characterization, I just want to stamp this fic with “beautiful” all over it!

Such a Small Thing by litbynosun- (Rated: T) I swear, this fandom spoils me with good characterization of mental health and the struggles that Dazai and Kunikida both go through, since they both are coded as highly neurodivergent. Also my most-likely-autistic ADHD ass loves how this author hit some of the most challenging things about living with those disorders.

Christmas Cookies by Mel_S_Bancroft- (Rated: G) Nonbinary Kunikida- amazing. Wonderful banter- A+! This fic is just adorable and fluffy and it makes my heart happy!

Slippery Feet by toosadto- (Rated: G) Family fluff with Kunikida being the dad we all know he is just makes me happy, and this fic is so good at exploring parent-child dynamics just aaaaaaa so good!
