Nah, we knew each other since childhood. After I delved into the fandom stuff, knowing he was a huge Tolkien nerd, I MADE him get a Tumblr. But he’s so super busy since his job is far more demanding than mine, AND our kids turn into actual monsters whenever they see him. I am convinced that if he cut back from his kids-time to do some internet stuff, they would EAT his computer.

But the way most of the Sansa fandom openly takes elements from Arya’s storyline and gives it to Sansa is so common that it’s downright cringe-worthy. (* If you think this sentence and the “you” here is an attack to you, I’ve no words to say.) […] You remember that ugly-arse necklace they gave to Sansa with the Maleficent costume? Apparently someone from the concept department had been spending too much time on Tumblr and decided to shape it like “a needle” and draw parallels between Arya’s THE Needle. Of course Tumblr loved it, and wrote a bunch of passive aggressive posts about how “being a fighter” was not Arya’s thing alone (when literally no one said it was) and how “Sansa’s needle” was just as awesome/relevant/what have you… (* I’m clearly accusing the Tumblr here, the “you remember?” part is to make sure that those who read the meta DO remember.) […] Oh and OF COURSE if you like Arya and aren’t crazy about Sansa, it’s misogyny. No question. What else did you expect? (* THIS WAS SARCASM, COME ON. You want me to review the whole thing and rewrite every sentence that contains “you”? That’s not going to happen. You have a problem with one or few particular sentences? Let me know and be specific about them.

Never said that.  There was no Arya in the fake!Arya storyline.  That was why I was puzzled.

This is really nasty.  I was asking for your reasoning.  I was interested in your opinion.  And you've taken my question as a lack of respect and deliberately disregarding something important to you.  OK, the reason it matters to you is the power of Arya's name.  That clarifies your position, because it wasn't in your original post that piqued my interest.

And finally, yes.  I did ask you a question.  I now deeply regret that.  I did not expect to become a target of so much of your pent up anger. I did not expect to have my question mischaracterized and called a lack of respect.  I did not expect to become associated with opinions I do not hold, and have that mischaracterization spread over tumblr.
