Duck 🦆 FAO Schwarz

The Floral Signature Collection was an FAO Schwarz exclusive collection from the 1990s; not to be confused with the Flowers in Fashion Collection or the Fashionably Floral Silkstone Barbie. There's only so many different concepts for Barbies so there's bound to be some conceptual crossover.

It was a two-doll series, featuring Antique Rose and Lily.

This is what I mean when I say there's only so many ideas for Barbies so there's going to be some crossover. I can think of at least three different Barbies themed around lilies just off the top of my head, and I feel like if I dug into it I would find even more.

This one is pretty spectacular, though, I have to give it credit for that.

If I had to pick, though, I'm a much bigger fan of Antique Rose. She just looks a lot more conceptually interesting to me.

Went back to goodwill for a pair of boots I saw yesterday, and saw that there's a big FAO cheetah now too. I don't have room for them, but I put them together, and I hope they'll find a nice home together. they're from around 2012 from Toys R Us.

I went to Target for the first time in ages the other day and found their little FAO Schwarz section. I dared not look at the other plushies at the store or I would have walked out with all of them, so I just walked out with this fella.

This walrus is so cute, so cuddly, so SOFT, and I'm naming him Porgy. He's already got a little scuff on his button eye (likely from my kiddo), but I think it adds character.

Hot take perhaps, I know jellycat is the king of Good/Soft Texture in the plushie community, but I can honestly say that this walrus is right up there with the best jellycats as far as softness goes, maybe even surpassing some of them.
