you're telling me that if Fig had managed to grab that ghost steak in the teacher's lounge that first day, there was a chance she could have lured the rogue teacher to her and thus accidentally aced a whole year of rogue classes without ever signing up for them? just imagine the multi-classed mess she could be at this point!

Okay so after last week's episode we discovered that the ratgrinders have been to the mountains of chaos (ancestral lands of giants) many many times

so what if on one of these adventures they discovered the existence of a dead goddess of justice and fairness and anger? and what if this resonated so much with some of them (kipperlilly of course it's kipperlilly) that they decided to bring her back to live? and what if this failed horribly and ended up with the possession of one lucy frostblade? and what if the ratgrinders had to fight and kill her for their own lives?

alternatively the faculty (cough jace cough) could be involved in this, perhaps even from the beginning, sending the ratgrinders to the mountains of chaos to collect information on [redacted], and perhaps it was the faculty who tried to bring the goddess back and ended up having to kill lucy (although i think kiperlilly might still have been present for that given of much [redacted]'s domain resonates with copperkettle's discourse on fairness and her anger issues) (and perhaps she might have even consumed the devil's honey to purge herself of those memories)

and now that i think about it what if the honey was used by one of the ratgrinders (probably lucy under kipperlilly's encouragement) to pray to this dead goddess and bring her back, feigning genuine devotion???

TLDR i am really loving the mystery this season and i am rotating the rat grinders in my head like a kebab
