I realized I forgot to actually upload this here. @yaelokre hearing Harpy Hare for the first time sent me into a state. I’ve been mulling over this image of my own elves for my own fantasy setting, but have never quite been able to put it on paper. I still haven’t quite gotten it, but the song, and the others, leapt out as the musical equivalent of what I’ve been reaching for.
Joyful yet Haunting.
The speedpaint is better with the song, but I am posting before I forget for the 9the time.
One detail that I was very deliberate about is that a normal hare does not have eyes that face forward the way my version of a harpy hare’s do.
