Fave bridgerton scenes??

okay so. i was sick last week and forgot to answer this. i also left some questionable fic comments in my delirium so really i don't think i should be held responsible for anything i did and/or didn't do.

there's too many scenes i love tbh so i will just do s3/polin scenes. like, it's hurtful that they're keeping hyacinth contained, let my girl freeeeee so we can enjoy her chaos. an actual crime she and colin aren't ruling the world together.

also when i was sick i had an amazing dream about a chicken sandwich and i woke up like colin after his dream so i get him on a deeper level now

tried to recreate the wedding dance with my dog. i think it went okay, actually

ohhh bitchy street fight. now okay, don't judge but horses freak me out so that shit ass horse messing things up for me? i am not surprised

i never pass up an opportunity to talk about tfatws!! easily in the top 5 marvel disney+ shows and unfairly hated/criticised imo

ANYWAY

some of my fave scenes in no particular order:

the couples' therapy scene from ep 2

the flashback to bucky being freed of the trigger words in wakanda (which still makes me sob and is one of the best payoffs in the whole of the mcu, along with steve lifting mjolnir in the battle for earth in endgame)

the fixing up the boat montage in ep 5 just because it's so sweet and wholesome

bucky's entire vibe in ep 3 tbh

sam's training montage with the shield in ep 6

john walker getting the shit kicked out of him by the dora milaje and having a breakdown about it afterwards like a big fucking baby (bonus points for bucky just standing there completely unbothered, happily watching him get beaten up. iconic really. what a legend. he did NOT care at all and honestly i don't blame him)

the whole scene where bucky is explaining his 'hypothetical' plan to get zemo out of jail only he actually did all of that and is pretending he didn't along with the 'who, me?' innocent face of it all

the barbecue at the wilson's!! (including the extended deleted scene which is canon to me IN MY HEART)

Bucky frees Zemo from prison.

Zemo puts on his mask.

Bucky protects Zemo.

Sam becomes Captain America.

Sam and Isaiah Bradley visit the Museum.

Zemo dances.

Party at the harbor.

Bucky chokes Zemo.

Sam, Bucky and Zemo walk and work together

what are my favorite bridgerton scenes? like... for this newest season? cause idk if i can narrow that down. 😅 i mean.... sure there are a few little things i'd like to tweak, but overall i truly loved every second of s3. i feel like someone curated this season in a box and wrapped it up in a bow just for me lol.

although, i think the carriage scene will forever go down in history as the best bridgerton scene of all time. 🫶 —(even more than the mirror scene, dare i say).

Sorry, I'm just now seeing this! I wasn't active for quite a while there aha

Ooh, there's so many good ones.. i can tell you my favorite episode as a whole is definitely ep 3: Power Broker and every scene in that episode is a candidate for my favorite.

The whole idea of Bucky having to pretend to be the Winter Soldier again under the control of someone who had taken advantage of him is just.. so wonderfully tragic. We were fed and it was delicious. On top of that, I LOVE that it took place in Madripoor. I've always thought that was a really interesting location in the comics and stuff so it was so cool to see that realized in live action and I really dig the whole aesthetics and vibe they went with! Between both of my blogs I've probably made gifs of damn near every moment in that episode.

And of course, special mention to this scene in particular because I appreciate the implication that HTP is canon.

Oh.... SOOOO MANY! I know a lot of ppl disliked that series, but I loved it!

All the interactions between Sam and Bucky, their bickering and their friendship. Sam telling him to do the work properly! The fact that Bucky read the hobbit when it came out. The whole restoring the boat together and Bucky flirting with Sarah. Bucky telling Sam he's called the white wolf. Sam trying to talk to Karli. When Bucky breaks Zemo out of jail 😆 "What did you do?" "I didn't do anything."

Aaaaaah I need to rewatch that series now 🥰

it's going to be really hard for anyone to beat or replace "just one yesterday" or "the kids aren't alright" as my top two fob songs, i hold them near and dear to my heart and have since their respective albums dropped. now to round out my top five, three through five do swap seats with one another or rotate in and out with other tracks i've loved for ages now. "jet pack blues," "bishops knife trick," "miss missing you," and "save rock and roll" are frequent flyers of those ranks.

one i have been obsessed with here lately is "from now on we are enemies," patrick's delivery of "i'm just the man on the balcony singing 'nobody will ever remember me,' rejoice rejoice and fall to your knees" is so so very good, especially during the bridge.
