My thoughts: Iwaizumi and Oikawa have become one of my top ships, right after the classics like DaiSuga, KageHina, TsukkiYama, and AsaNoya. Their dynamic is just so captivating! I fell for them after the initial excitement of the first years, and their chemistry really stuck with me. 💕

I recently came across this fanfiction that is an absolute gem. The author writes IwaOi so perfectly, capturing their personalities and interactions flawlessly. The story is set with them as businessmen— Iwa is a dedicated editor, and Oikawa is in finance (from what I remember). They meet for what they think is a ‘one-time thing,’ but the chemistry between them is off the charts! The plot is so well-crafted and teasing that you’ll be hooked from start to finish.

There are also side relationships like DaiSuga and KurooKen (which I adore and totally recommend their side fics too!), along with a bit of AsaNoya and KageHina. It’s exciting to follow these characters through adult life challenges and savor the satisfying ending. Dive in and enjoy the ride! 🌟📚

Here, we curate a collection of the most delightful Good Omens fanfiction from a wide range of excellent authors, tropes, and premises. We call our rather large library of remarkable recommendations the Ineffable Classics. These works have distinguished themselves to the proprietors of the library by their excellence, boldness, and ability to pluck at our heartstrings even after the unfortunate canonical events of the final 15.

These works all excel and are prime examples of great fanwork, thus their inclusion in our collection. However, we would like to inform readers of the library that the Curator and the team is biased in their own tastes and acknowledges so. 🥳Why did you start writing fanfic?

I started out as a very little sloth! I believe I was maybe 9 or 10 when I wrote my first HP fanfiction! I don't remember which one was the first but I can definitely tell you that it was Prongsfoot 🤭😂 I did it mainly because I was always very bad at keeping my thoughts in my head when I start to get obsessive with something!! I would daydream all day otherwise! So fanfiction was a way for me to work through my wild fantasies 😊😊

🤩 What led to your interest in the fandom?

I don't know if I have an elaborate answer for that 😂 I think I am just as obsessed with characters as everyone else here and it is a nice way to connect with people who are similarly inclined and won't give you odd looks!!! I think fandom is such a nice place to create and uplift eachother. It creates a type of community that has become rare in the last years and I think that's beautiful 💕

🎁 Have a piece of a WIP you want to share?

Yessss I will share some of my post prank fanfiction "M is for Murder"!!! I will need more time to finish but I cannot wait until I can post the first part!!!

Sirius' sleepy brain took a minute to remember why they were down here. He immediately grew tense. His eyes got drawn up towards the door of the dorm. Remus would wake up soon.

He untangled himself from the soundly sleeping James and went up the stairs with wobbly knees.

When he entered the dorm, Peter and Remus were still asleep. Sirius sat down on the edge of his bed. He was trembling. Whether it was the cold or the anxiety coursing through his body he could not tell. He felt raw and on edge.

Like partially yes I am the character but also they are their own character at the same time w a totally different lore than me and putting myself in their shoes is just as fun. No but im not about to complain about a character acting morally gray or making bad decisions cause if they didn’t there would literally be no plot lmao

god as cliche as it is I love a good and juicy love triangle. I also love when reader/fmc is able to handle herself and is tough as nails. I mean I’m literally writing the fanfic I want to see so idk what else but also I love @heathermason6060 because she writes an amazingly desperate and needy daryl so whenever I need a hit of that to my system I go to her ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ooof… well I’m gonna go with a character I hate at this exact moment in my rewatch which is Eugene. Let me complain then I’ll say something nice. EUGENE YOU WERE SO EASY TO MAKE THE FLIP TO NEGAN YOU ASSHOLE WTF. Ok nice things he’s v smart for someone who was a liar / fraud he still knows how to do SO MUCH !!! He also was v kind when he told negan’s wives he knew they were there not of their own volition and didn’t want to take advantage of them. I also understand why he flipped to negan so readily because they treated him so freaking well and he was always being ridiculed and told he wasn’t enough back w his old group!

Other than the obvious in watching the show, god I love music. Whenever I hear a good lyric I’m like oh shit I need to base an entire story around that or the feeling music will give I’m like this is how daryl would feel or fmc would feel when this and that happen!! Poetry is also a huge one, as seen above with my recent screenshot to my notes.

when I’ve been on tumblr before I knew short and sweet is usually best, and the fact twd fit so well into Daryl Dixon I said let’s try this lmao and it worked!! So now I am Daryl the walking Dixon lmao

🧩 ⇢ what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?

this goes for books/novels as well. You need to show me how a character is feeling, show me the scenery, the atmosphere instead of TELLING me. My favorite example of this comes from Harry Potter which does way better to explain than I could writing out everything:

Instead of “Harry started crying”, in GOF it says “The thing against which [Harry] had been fighting on and off ever since he had come out of the maze was threatening to overpower him. He could feel a burning, prickling feeling in the inner corners of his eyes. He blinked and stared up at the ceiling.”

This goes for atmosphere/scenery too! What the heck are the smells! The sounds! What does it feel like!! So whenever fanfic or books do nothing to embellish any feelings I usually click out or DNF

Tbh, it was a coping mechanism when I was a teenager. I wrote some band fanfiction (that shall never see the light of day), and that was kind of my gateway.

I saw this idea from someone here on Tumblr, but I'd love to see a fic where Ed is kicked from the camp instead of dying and joins the Saviors, then him and Carol meet again later down the line after all the growth she's done. I'd love to see that play out. Idk who I'd choose to write it.

Oh God...well I'm a certified Shane Walsh hater. He's got good combat skills, I have to give him that. He's incredibly ruthless, and he's brave. That's the most I can give him lmao.

☁️ ⇢ what made you choose your username?

The 'dark elf' part comes from my favorite race to play as in my favorite video game (Skyrim). The 'vegan' part is because I'm vegan 😂 The name came to me one day months ago, and I thought it was super cute.

I was once reading a Daryl smut where "underage" and "incest" were not mentioned in the warnings...clicked off as soon as I realized and was lowkey a little traumatized after.

📗 Do you want to write something outside of fanfiction? If so, what about?

I want to write a novel but am trying to build the confidence to take the leap, it would definitely be in the fantasy genre.

🌻 How often do you read your own fics?

Quite often, I have so many ongoing that I have to reread them to plan the next chapter. I also tend to write something when I can't find an existing fic for an idea I had so I do enjoy re-reading as long as I'm not in a mood where I hate everything I have ever written lol

🚀 Do you like to outline your fic first or create as you go?

I do a huge idea dump with scenes and pieces of dialogue but I only outline a chapter or two before writing them.

📚 Is there a fanfic or fanfic writer you recommend?

I don't read much fanfic as I'd like to because I have a huge backlog of books I want to get through but I have been enjoying @drpoisonoaky 's Azutara fics lately :D

I have read all the stories that have to do with Mario and Peach in AO3 from @drones-of-innocence and I enjoyed every single one of them! I'm still reading them again and again every single day! I also can't wait to see and read the collab story you guys are putting together. In the mean time however, do you have any other recommendations for Mario x Peach stories, either from AO3 or Fanfiction? I'm even telling ChatGPT to write me stories with these two because I can't get enough

— who are you & what do you write?

Hey, I'm A.A. Walker! I'm 20 and live in southeast America. I've been into writing and fandom stuff since I was 8 years old. I have situational anxiety so it's been a battle to actually put out what I've written. I've had my work copied in the past, but thanks to my legal rep that's no longer a concern. I work at B&N and I'm in college studying psychology.

I read philosophy, fantasy, YA, biographies, and the occasional horror (the older, the better). I write philosophy, fantasy, and YA, and am revising a book series as we speak. Here is my book blog for it. Most of my imagines (masterlist) were pre-written by teen-me but never posted. You can request an imagine after reading the fandom list and guidelines. This blog is for posting imagines, sharing author tips, and promoting my upcoming book.
