hellooo, some reassuring words 🫶 so, i know the upfronts have us all gone crazy and i totally get it - it would be great for my mental health to get renewal news asap too. maybe you've heard that 3 body problem was renewed, a show that came out a month earlier than dead boy detectives (congrats to them). a renewal for dbd now would be veeery earlier (but appreciated so give it to me) - less than a month after the show has been released. they did say dbd is getting mentioned so if it hasn't been so far, who knows what's to come? the list on twitter mentioned shows that were gonna come out later this year. we know for a fact that we're not getting a second season this early so no wonders it wasn't included. the press release also didn't mentioned the sandman and we know that has been renewed and is definitely gonna come out.

upfronts aside, have you all noticed that every social media account - netflix, warner bros, etc. - have been talking about dead boy detectives season 1 specifically? now, coming from the lockwood fandom i can tell you that this is a very good sign. like very good. lockwood has been canceled about 3 months after its release with no mention on social media, they were trying to pretend that show never existed. keep in mind that we're just 3 weeks after dbd release and we are getting lots of interviews and social media posts. would've been great to get that before the show was released but at this point i take all that i can get. we've also all noticed that netflix has a shit record of canceling fantasy/ghost shows so at this point it seems like they may need to prove a point. a huge part that is worth a mention and may help us with a renewal is the big part of the queer community + variety of characters. what might also help is that people like sza or misha collins have shown love and support and actively asked for a second season.

views on the show may have not been what we hoped for but: have you taken a closer look at the top 10 for this week (may 6 - 12) specifically? 4th - 10th place have less than 5 million views. and remember, they're the top ten + most watched shows for this week. dbd had 4.7 million views in it's first week of release (april 29 - may 5) which is - again, lower than 5 million - but ranked top 3 with that. people have been very vocal about the fact they're reluctant to start a new show because of cancelation news. and numbers like this definitely show that and how hesitant everyone is. i'm pretty sure netflix is aware of that or has at least seen concern online. every comment section is filled, asking for season 2. and i'm sure a renewal announcement as soon as possible would lead to a major boost in views. it would switch from "i don't want to watch this show because i might not get more" to "i know another season will come out so i'm definitely gonna watch it now".

also, neil gaiman is included & it is part of the sandman universe. i don't think that needs further explanation.

Michael didn’t think he’d ever actually desire sex, or want anything to do with it. Prior to being brought the other world by the Entity it had always been a great source of pain. It reflected when he began having such conflicting feelings about his elder sister. The way she and her boyfriend hurt him was starting to cause a strange sensation in his gut. He needed to make her stop, to make it stop. So that was what he did, every time. When he went to the hospital he thought it would be over, that was until Doctor Sam Loomis began touching him. He wouldn’t speak after that, he found himself becoming completely silent to protect himself. When the Doctor tried a second time Michael grabbed a pen from his pocket and stabbed him in the neck. He had to be sedated after that, he was only twelve and everyone called him ‘evil’.

Since then sex had been off the table, that was until he’d been welcomed into the Fog. Things were different here - safer and easier. He knew if anyone tried to hurt him he could rip their throats out. Of course, no one would. He was a legend often whispered about by the other killers, they adored and admired him. That was when the idea of sex began to reenter his mind. He didn’t know if he wanted to try with a man or woman, so it made sense to try both. Perhaps the fact that he chose Ghostface as his first partner shouldn’t have been a surprise to anyone. Michael didn’t exactly ask, when Ghostface came back from a trial, Michael simply grabbed his wrist and pulled him to a quiet corner. Michael lifted up his mask and kissed Ghostface’s plastic one. He couldn’t resist the urge to laugh whilst Michael looked confused, Ghostface lifted up his own mask to kiss Michael back, surprising him. His cherubic features continued to give a blank stare, but Ghostface felt Michael’s feelings and intentions were obvious.

Michael was, to Ghostface’s surprise, something of a pillow princess. He had assumed the man would be desperate for control, but in actual fact he was desperate to be showered in pleasure and praise. It was as if a part of his brain had flipped the switch, and now he was terrified of losing it. Michael was nervous, and Ghostface was surprised that he simply followed orders. It had been along time since he had been with someone as inexperienced as Michael. He didn’t normally have partners who were happy to kiss, and just wanted to lay back and let Ghostface do all the work. Michael groaned, moaned , and gasped through out the whole thing. Ghostface would talk about what a beautiful sweet boy Michael was, call him the modern day Lucifer, a fallen angel, a stunning, gorgeous man who deserved to have each of his holes filled at all time… but that was as kinky as it got. The Doctor

“Such a beautiful specimen,” The Doctor grins as he stares down at you, as he always does. The device he has made seems to be similar to the one he wears, it’s been surgically attached to your jaw and cranium, you can’t scream, talk, or move your lips without feeling it cut against you.

You’ve heard the rumours amongst the other survivors, every now and then he lets the other three work on the generators and escape if he gets one to play with. What your gender is doesn’t matter so long as you’re pretty, if he’s fed the Entity enough it’s willing to let him have his fun with the occasional sheep. There are machines beeping all around, you expect them to show your vital signs but they don’t seem to. The only one you recognise is the one that’s showing your brain, different lobes lit up as you whimper in terror. You feel The Doctor carefully tear your clothes with a scalpel, he cuts along the front of your t-shirt revealing your chest. He runs the blade across your nipples, laughing as you cry out and he sees tear begin to pour down your temples and falling into your ears. The involuntary movement has caused more pain.

When he starts preparing you, fingering your hole, he seems to be somewhat gentle. Your tears keep coming silently and against your better judgement you actually begin to gasp and moan.

“My god, you whore,” He cackles. He pulls out of you, you expect him to fill you with his cock but instead he picks up his weapon, the thing that leaves burns all over your skin when he captures you. You don’t know what he calls it but the survivors refer to it as The Stick. You try to scream for help but your words come out as garbled and non-sensical. No wonder the Survivor’s didn’t speak about what he did, you felt the repeated shocks and burns inside you as he fucked you with it. It feels like your intestines are on fire. After what feels like an eternity he stops thrusting and keeps it in one place, it still feels and smells like your guts are frying but at least there’s no movement. He comes to your side and releases his cock, he fucks your mouth with it - the one that’s forced open and drooling constantly. You splutter and choke, which makes it hurt more. If you weren’t in the hell of the Entity’s making you’d have died by now, and something inside you knows he’d keep fucking you regardless.

The Hag

The Hag, or Lisa Sherwood, never expected to find joy or belonging again. Thanks to the Entiry however, nothing was permanent any more - not even that feeling of despair. Hers ended when she met Rin Yamaoka, The Spirit. They had a great deal in common, the two of them were different to the others, they were both victims of circumstance. They both hungered for blood, but it wasn’t necessarily about death. Sure, that was wonderful in its own right, to feel a victim’s blood seeping into your skin but there was also something intimate they both craved. They had different specific wants, but the Hag’s went like this.

To begin with she would tie Rin down, this was symbolic as they both knew she was never going to escape. She kissed her wrists, ankles, torso, and neck, as each one was restrained to the bed. She stroked her hair and called her sweet things, the eyes that struck terror in most causing warmth and safety within Lisa’s chest. She began at the arms as she always did, she used her hook to gently peel the skin from Rin’s arms. The both of them gasping as she did. She always split the flesh in two, one half for Lisa, the other for Rin. She would peel in the same spot eating each layer of muscle, lapping up the blood, until she reached bone.

Lisa’s favourite part was Rin’s stomach and torso. The both of them agreed her breasts and intestines tasted the best. When they had chunks in each others mouths they’d kiss, sometimes trade the chewed up organs between each other. Sometimes they’d start to cry but Ana understood that was because they were so overwhelmed with emotion. She’d struggle to strip them, but they were rarely stronger than Ana. H.adie. I always found her lore boring and shes never had good perks, but my god the way especially twitter acts about her??? She's not the only unpopular survivor in the game and shes not the only survivor to not get that many cosmetics, but they act like if she doesn't get a cosmetic every collection or every battle pass that b.hvr are specifically targeting people who like her to spite them. I love V.ittorio and the amount of hate he receives as a character from people like that is insane. He doesn't even get that many cosmetics anymore, so they've switched the same vitriol to S.able.

Sorry popular survivors exist???? I don't know what they want, because even when she gets cosmetics they complain. She got the first glow in the dark skin in years and 3 skins in a row and they complained about every one of them. It's such a bizarre phenomenon with her specifically and going to be entirely honest I've really stopped liking her, because of it.

My main is dead. I loved The Twins when I came back to DBD. I took a year hiatus because of drama in the fandom that directly involved me. Working my way through that bullshit, I decided to come back and try again. This was just after their nerf, but I remember watching their release from afar. I was interested and when I picked them up for the first time, it was a DBD experience I never thought I could have. I felt like I was actually playing something different. I played them like a herder, trapping Survivors in what would be safe loops and catching them that way.

But then as I came across higher and higher ranks as I played more, they became tedious. Dead Hard was rough, Unbreakable was rough, but I dealt with it. Borrowed Time didn’t do much to me since I hated tunneling at the time. I tried to think of the other players having fun still. I started playing them less though, going for The Doctor who I knew was an old reliable. Those perks were still annoying, and I was forced into Ruin + Undying to get a kill. Eventually it turned into Haddonfield, Brand New Part, etc.

I hit Rank 3 because I was trying to climb up to Rank 1 for that spicy achievement. The game wasn’t fun though. With Distressing, Ruin, and Undying, I only had one perk to play around.

So I decided to give that up and have fun. I went from Rank 3 to Rank 8 in a single day because I played Killers I wanted to play, and played the way I wanted to have fun.

So with all of my fun, despite my nervousness with the SBMM release, I decided to try playing Killer again. My main was no longer viable. Because of the way I played during my old rank climb, my MMR was too high to even take remote control of a map with what I enjoyed while trying. 8 seconds spent switching was a nightmare and I could not do anything about it. Medkits made even grabbing one person was an effort beyond anything I ever thought I had to put in. End game chats didn’t make me feel much better either.

I stopped playing Twins. Tried other Killers. But it just became depressing. One kill meant my MMR went up. I play a gimmick where I act bad as Myers while 99ing my T3. I can kill one person with everyone else gen rushing me and escaping and yet because I killed one person, I go against players who use more Medkits, more Dead Hards, more BNPs.

I’m just tired of playing. And on the Survivor side, it isn’t much better. Because of the MMR, more Killers camp, slug, and tunnel. I have less fun playing because I don’t get to play anymore. I’m exhausted. The bullshit BHVR pulled with the game this year didn’t help either.

I won’t stop on this blog. I love this blog. But my depression is hitting me hard again and this new update, despite the awesome Killer, has me dreading playing Killer. I want to pick up Charlotte and Victor and play them again. But if I want to have fun, I need to play Survivor and have friends playing with me.

I’m sorry for this rant. I’m tired. I had to get it out.

Fuck boon totems. Nerf them already.

Change MMR. It’s fucking broken. No one wanted SBMM.

SBMM means nothing per Killer if your MMR is on a Killer you never touched is only 100 lower than your best.

Fuck you BHVR and fuck your stupid steam awards.
