“This place gets busier every time we come here, I swear.” Soonyoung mused as the group meandered their way through the corridor of idols, whether it be group or solo. Wonwoo nodded with a small hum that was barely audible over the chatter.

“They keep debuting new groups constantly,” he chuckled, his hands in his pockets, “they’re getting younger too.”

Seungcheol let out an annoyed noise at his words. He wasn’t wrong, the companies were beginning to debut idols much more younger than their generation had debuted.

“Actually there should be a girl group here who’s our age that just debuted.” Seungkwan chimed into the conversation from where he wandered between Seokmin and Joshua. Joshua quirked a brow.

“Why am I not surprised you would know that?” He teased, nudging him with his elbow. Seungkwan scoffed momentarily, rolling his eyes as he looked away.

“I spoke with their leader earlier while I was waiting for you morons.” He admitted, smiling in acknowledgement as they passed Monsta X, the group bowing to the older males. Mingyu clicked his tongue after they’d passed.

“Don’t suggest you admitted to them how you know their dance off by heart? And the fact you made your own fanchant since they haven’t released one yet - when they’ve barely been debuted a few days?” Mingyu snorted, pushing Seungkwan’s shoulder gently. Soonyoung whipped around with wide eyes.

“What?!” He exclaimed, laughing loudly in bewilderment. The rest of the group wasn’t far behind and Seungkwan could feel his eyes rolling up into his head at the sheer embarrassment his group was causing him. Was it really that funny he’d picked up your dance so quick? Or the concept of the fanchant - but he thought it was a bit bland to listen to your music without a fanchant. He was just musically gifted.

Yet his group probably found this baffling. Seungkwan hadn’t just picked this up since your group’s debut. There’s a reason Seungkwan knew about your group so close to your debut and that’s because he was friends with your leader when she was a trainee. He wasn’t whimsically obsessed with a just debuted group, he’d supported the leader of the group leading up to the debut and had spent plenty of time watching the four of you in your dance practise studio, sweating your asses off. So as far as Seungkwan was concerned, his group could laugh all they wanted.

The thirteen of them corralled into a waiting room, stuffed with couches for numerous idols to sit upon while waiting to be called to the stage. He couldn’t describe the immense feeling of exhilaration that waved over his body when his eyes landed on you across the room, your head in your phone. You were one of the rappers for CrystalClear alongside your group member Mia. Seungcheol cleared his throat beside Seungkwan and the male quickly looked away from you, looking at his leader.

“Are you going to speak to her?” He mumbled, quirking a brow and Seungkwan swallowed the lump in his throat, glancing back at you awkwardly. You hadn’t noticed his presence yet.

“Maybe?” Seungkwan looked down at his feet, unsure whether to look at Seungcheol or yourself, or even the ceiling. Seungcheol chuckled a little, wrapping his arm around Seungkwan’s shoulders and giving him a reassuring rub on the upper arm.

“You’ve been hanging out around her for ages, there’s no way you’re nervous?” Seungcheol quipped and Seungkwan shrugged lightly.

“Just a little. Who’s to say she’ll feel the same?” Seungkwan admitted his doubts, letting out a semi loud sigh.

“She’s staring so stop looking so sad.” Seungcheol hummed, removing his arm from Seungkwan’s shoulders as he nudged his foot with his. Seungkwan stared at his leader, blinking as he tried to muster the strength to even remotely look in your direction. Why was this so difficult for him? He swallowed the lump in his throat and opened his mouth to interject to the scenario however a female staff member spoke up quicker, calling Seventeen to the stage as per schedule.

Seungcheol puffed his cheeks a little, as if almost hoping he’d witness Seungkwan finally confess to someone of interest. Mission failed, Seungkwan could imagine him thinking as they sauntered off with sullied moods.

From your seat across the room, you fluttered your eyelashes somewhat as you tried to figure out why the guy you was so accustomed to having the brightest smile of all - other than his group member Seokmin - seemed so dull and down. Usually he’d have been over to you in a heartbeat, all smiles as he greeted you and you thought he would have came to wish you luck on this debut stage but he didn’t utter a word in your direction. Scowling slightly, you acknowledged your group leader Akari as she seated herself beside you, now styled according to your concept.

“Did Seungkwan speak to you?” She hummed plainly as she popped a kernel of popcorn into her mouth, promptly holding the packet out to offer you one. You shook your head, quirking a brow.

“No, it was so odd, he looked so down today,” you mumbled, fiddling with your phone now that you’d turned it off, “maybe he’s been nervous about their comeback and didn’t tell us?”

Akari stayed silent, a small smirk tugging her lips as she popped yet another kernel into her mouth. Your eyes narrowed at her. She knew something you didn’t and it was unlike Akari to be able to manage to keep secrets in the long term.

“Huh. Yeah, maybe.” Akari mused, sitting back carefully as to not mess up her hair now it’d finally been styled. She got out her phone, mindlessly scrolling through social media as she left the Seungkwan conversation there.

“It’s only fair we ask as you’re newly debuted,” the MC spoke up, glancing at the flashcards occasionally as the four of you shuffled under the eyes of the cameras, “but as trainees - and perhaps still now - who was your idol?”

Mia quickly sat straight, a giddy smile on her face as she decided to take the plummet first.

“Our elders, Mamamoo!” she admitted excitedly, flattening her skirt so it laid neat as the MCs nodded, “I started listening to them a few years ago and I especially look up to Hwasa.”

There was a brief moment of Akari admitting how she looked up to Zico and Fern announcing her idol to be After School. You knew time would only run out before the eyes fell to you, the last remaining member of CrystalClear to announce her secrets on live television.

“I really look up to Seventeen,” you mumbled, unsure if your idol was really a surprise to anybody who knew you, “I still look up to them, a lot. They’re really fantastic artists.”

It was becoming a little unsettling how much you was beginning to miss Seungkwan and his presence. He couldn’t sit and watch you practise choreographies anymore like he did when you was a trainee. You had a schedule to follow now and promotions to complete and not only that but Seungkwan had just had a comeback and was also neck deep in promotions. Yet you couldn’t seem to find yourself far from him in one way or another, as you sat in the crowds of Seventeen’s first Seoul concert of their upcoming world tour. Your group was with you on agreement that Akari had brought the tickets and Fern had provided the transport. Mia just wanted to tag along since otherwise she’d be left alone.

You had to laugh at how they always took a break from their own songs, speaking amongst themselves to the fans and jokingly doing other artists’ dances. The four of you could shimmy a little to the songs chosen by the members, almost as if you’d made it to a club and not a disco. That was until it was Seungkwan’s turn.

“Seungkwan, what’s your chosen song?” Jeonghan spoke up, looking down the line at the younger member who laughed into his microphone nervously as he looked around at the ocean of carat bongs, fans sat in anticipation of what he would choose - perhaps Orange Caramel or After School - sticking to the Pledis roots?

“Mirror by CrystalClear.” He beamed, his face glittering with sticky sweat as his cheeks turned a rosy hue in the gigantic stage lights. You held your breath, the four of you looking amongst yourselves at the unexpected turn of the night. Somehow you couldn’t keep your eyes off Seungkwan as he did your dance perfectly - you knew it was from all the hours he’d spent sat on vinyl flooring watching as you had to repeat it because you specifically kept making mistakes. You chewed your tongue almost, with the way he was dancing he should have replaced you in the group.

As the snippet of your song ended, you met eyes with him.

The sound of the traffic below you was muffled by the closed window as rain thundered against the glass. You stared longingly, however not quite sure what for. Seungkwan was always on your mind and you had found yourself always watching live interviews Seventeen were going through. You’d even found a few fancams of him doing Mirror’s choreography at the concert. Exhaling, you watched your warm breath fog up the glass before you.

You’d been in the dance studio since early hours of the morning, heavy on practising to get better at dancing. You didn’t want it to be your downfall but you’d seen the comments people were starting to make online. You wasn’t putting as much effort in as the others or you weren’t as confident. Frowning, you looked down at your hands that you’d been picking skin off. The door of the studio opened and you was prepared to be scolded by Akari to eat lunch but you raised your eyes to meet that of a soaked Seungkwan. You raised to your feet, furrowing your brows.

“Seungkwan?” you tilted your head, utterly confused as you approached him in his drenched clothing and sopping wet hair, “what the he-”

“The others said I could find you here,” Seungkwan breathed, seemingly a little out of breath as you glanced him over, “I’ll scold you for being harsh on yourself later but please y/n I need to speak to you about something before it eats me alive.”

You opened your mouth to speak, more concerned about him catching a cold than whatever the hell he had to say but Seungkwan shook his head, waving you off as he flashed a wide smile that you always found so comforting.

“I really like you, y/n,” his words froze you and suddenly you felt like the one stood in the middle of a dance studio in soaked clothing, “like really like you and it’s been ever since you were a trainee in this stupid room and now I get to watch you blossom as an idol and embrace a concept-”

“I like you too Kwan,” you whispered, taking another step towards the soaking male as his eyes followed you, “I’ve always stated you were my idol on interviews and talk shows, always mine - how does that sound, Kwannie? To be mine?”

He smiled, cold shaking hands reaching to cup your warm face as he leaned forward to press his lips to you.

“Sounds perfect.”

It was no secret to your fans - gems - and carats that Seungkwan and yourself was dating. But they’d honestly had inklings since you debuted that the two of you were closer than no other and borderline inseparable even with your schedules. That’s precisely how you coped with your new relationship. On this day, for once you’d switched the roles.

Leaning against the dance practise room’s wall, you admired the thirteen males vigorously going through majority of their choreographies. They panted heavily, sweat dripping from their foreheads and their hair sticking to their skin as they convinced themselves they didn’t need to take a break. You raised your bottle of drink to your lips, taking a sip as just the sight of them was making you dehydrated - not to mention how hot the dance practise room had gotten in the midst of their activities.

Don’t Wanna Cry ended and they yelled out in exhausted pain, their bodies aching as they fell to the vinyl floor and the staff paused the track list. Seungkwan crawled his way to you, breathing a sigh of relief when you passed him a bottle of water you’d been keeping a cool bag. Amused, you watched as he almost downed the whole thing.

“Funny how you’re the one watching right now.” He quipped, laying flat on the floor beside you. You laughed lightly, brushing the sweaty skin of his face with a cloth you’d been keeping in preparation for this moment. He smiled gratefully up at you.

“I don’t think I could sit and watch you guys for as long as you did me,” you mused, running a hand through his wet roots of hair with a small cringe of disgust, “I’m already so tired just watching you.”

“You don’t have to stay, sweetheart,” Seungkwan pouted, jutting his lower lip out with a sigh, “you should go home and rest, you’re working hard on a comeback right now.”

“So?” You huffed, folding your arms across your chest, “I’m waiting for you. We’re supposed to be having takeaway and movies tonight.”

“Of course,” Seungkwan laughed, rolling his eyes a little as he sat up to look at you, “how could I forget?”

The scowl on your face quicky dissolved at the sight of your boyfriend’s beaming grin looking in your direction, like a ball of sunshine with impeccable emotional strength and a heart of gold. You couldn’t help but smile back as you contemplated what life would have been like if you hadn’t entered the industry.

T27th - April 2019 (1/7)

What new voice actors would I like to hear in S3? What an intriguing concept!

Well, I would start with the children of Dracor and Demurra, who debuted in The Gift and were said to have their own episode in S3. I remember someone from DeviantArt suggesting these names: Mia, Tia, and Zag. If I were to guess their names, they'd be Constance, Elaine, and Shaun, but that's not the point.

For the voices... I'd imagine the single-horned, humanoid daughters to be performed by Jessica DiCicco, who has done youthful girls before (e.g. Hanazuki, Summer Penguin from the new Muppet Babies). I figured Joshua Rush would be appropriate for a young dragon boy - Toby from The Adventures of Puss in Boots and Bunga from The Lion Guard come to mind. If Joshua’s beyond an age where he doesn’t talk like a young boy anymore, maybe Nika Futterman could fill in (with a voice she used for Chum Chum of Fanboy and Chum Chum, of course).

If any of them were involved, maybe their fans would be more interested in Wander Over Yonder and the plans for its third season.

DE in SINGAPORE :D

Hello my fellow Carats! I just wanted to share my experience about my time at Diamond Edge :D

Let’s start with the members :D

Dino - THIS BOY IS A MAN. I’m not even kidding. I’m not a Dino stan but damnnnn he was so HOT. He was also super adorable (as usual) and SVT seemed to be his biggest fanboys the entire night, and it was so cute!! Can we also talk about beautiful he looked on screen. At the end, he said that all Carats were Woozi (ain’t that adorable?) because we were all so lovable (I think that’s what he said I couldn’t really hear) which is even more adorable :3 Cue DK ruffling Jihoon’s hair HAHAHAH

Vernon - MY BIAS YEYEY. One word: JAWLINE. Frickin hell; it was so sharp oml. It was literally the first thing I noticed about him, and I swear I almost cried. He’s just so BEAUTIFUL >< and in person? HOLY SHIT I AM NOT ABLE TO COMPUTE ANYMORE AHHH. Also, his dancing during “If I”....#dead. HIS HAIR OMG - THE BLUE - it was so beautiful :3 I could only stare at him during all the HHU stages because he was so mesmerizing (I miss him already *sobs*)

Seungkwan - THIS BOY SLAYED. HE SLAYED EVERYTHING. I got goosebumps when he hit his high note (flawlessly) in Pretty U and I’m still shook from it. He looked so good throughout the entire concert too!! <3 When he spoke to us, it was so heartfelt and beautiful and I teared up. He looked at all of us and said in English that he was a ‘lucky guy’. Please, please, PLEASE love this boy more!!! <3 Also, this boy blowing confetti onto Jun’s head when he was speaking was adorableeeee ><

The 8 - BOIIII his hair was so gosh-darn beautiful oml I want it. He came so close to my side too!! He’s SO CUTE OMGGGG. “My I” was AMAZING in person, even though I could hardly see from my angle :/ but other than that...*sighs dramatically*

Mingyu - THIS OVERGROWN CHILD OMG. He was so cute!!!! He and Vernon came out for Going SVT and it was such a beautiful moment. (I’m not gonna tell what they did but all I can say is Mingyu’s aegyo is ADORABLE) He also came really close to my side. He kept waving too which was so cuteeee :3

DK - Has anyone ever noticed how SHARP and DEFINED this boy’s jawline gets when he hits those high notes? Like DAMNNN I was just staring at it the entire time. HE LOOKED SO GOOD. He was so full of energy and was just overall the ‘Happy Virus’ that he is. He did a heart during “Healing” and it was SO CUTEEEE

Woozi - Where do I begin? Vocals were AMAZING (as usual) but it’s something different to hear it in person. It’s just SO GOOD. His dancing was WOW as well, but what struck me the most about this adorable fluffball is his English. When he speaks in English, his voice goes super high and it’s SO SO SO CUTE!!! “I’m so happy because of you!” HOW CUTE CAN THIS BOY GET SOMEONE HELP

Wonwoo - He is SO HANDSOME UP CLOSE HOLY SHIT. He was super serious on stage but that was what made him look so cool >< During “If I”, he started off at my side, and throughout his solo part his eyes were closed the entire time and he just looked so passionate about his performance <3

Hoshi - PHENOMENAL. His energy was something else entirely, and it was great! He was mostly at my side (ay bias wrecker what you doing) which was AWESOME and he kept waving and looking at everyone; it was wonderful although he didn’t look at me *sobs* Whenever he danced, especially during Performance Unit stages, I felt like the stage was gonna collapse because he was just so HYPED. Also, he keot shouting out “Singapore” and gaining so much response from the crowd - it was AWESOME.

Jun - This boy has A LOT of stans in SG. And I see why. HE’S SO HOT ON STAGE I SWEAR IT’S ILLEGAL. “My I” was AMAZING, as I said before, and he was actually the first one to come out (I think) onto the stage during the intro. The crowd was screaming SO LOUDLY. But hotness aside, he was also so cute and extra :3 Cue Jun picking Joshua up during “Healing” and spinning him around. Also, his purplish-pink-pastel-y hair was so nice!!! It really shone on stage :D

Joshua - Aww he was so cute!!! He really looks like a prince in his red suit. HIS VOCALS oml. They’re beautiful!! At the end, when he was speaking, he was like “you can tell your friends about the Seventeen concert. Yeah it was awesome” and I was laughing because he’s so cute and extra ><

Jeonghan - I swear he’s not even human. My phone camera is so sucky (Nokia lol what do you expect) but Jeonghan is BY FAR the clearest in all of the videos/pictures I took. What kind of sorcery is this??? His vocals were AMAZING too AHHHH

S.Coups - The reason why I put him as the last is because my feelings are conflicted right now. THIS BOY WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO MADE EYE CONTACT WITH ME AND AHHHHHHH IDK WHAT TO FEEL. This boy went straight up the bias list. HIS DEEP VOICE IS EVERYTHING , especially during “Check In” where his voice got so deep and rough and OMG AM I A SEUNGCHEOL STAN NOW ??

Ayyy onto units now :D

Vocal - I’ve seen videos of their vampire concept thingy during “Don’t Listen in Secret” but seeing it in person is a whole different story. It’s so dark and I LOVE IT. They also performed “We Gonna Make It Shine” and “Habit” and both were so amazing <3

Hip Hop - AHHH my favourite unit. They were WOW. Their stage presences were really strong; it was really good to look at. It was so BREATHTAKING. They performed “言行一致” (I’m sorry I only know how to type it in Chinese) and “Check In” and “If I” and all the stages were AMAZING and I just want to see it all over again

Performance - by far THE BEST. They straight up DOMINATED the stage, with every single performance. IT WAS SO GOOD AND LITERALLY HEART POUNDING I WAS WORRIED I WOULD DIE ON THE SPOT. The stage lights were a wonderful accompaniment to the dancing and it was really what I expected a concert to be like. (Oh yeah this was my first concert ever did I forget to mention that?)

Hi-touch :D

I’m not gonna lie, I was super excited yet nervous for this, but who wouldn’t be? It was really nerve-wracking because I didn’t know what i was gonna say to them, but when it came to the actual hi-touch, I didn’t even have time to say anything. Meeting them was great (THEY’RE ALL EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL UP CLOSE) but I barely had enough time to even say “I love you” to each person, which was quite disappointing. But other than that, it was a really fun time :D Their hands are all so warm and nice and Vernon’s hand is so big whaaaat

My favourite stages :D

The “Rock” remix was really really cool and it would have been my favourite performance if they hadn’t immediately performed “Chuck” after that. “CHUCK” WAS SO HYPE OMGGG. The stage presence was so damn STRONG, and accompanied with the lights and bass, the song was basically booming through every speaker and it was so so VISUALLY PLEASING. *dies from shock*

My second favourite was “Healing”. This was such an adorable performance, seeing how the members played and teased each other, as well as with the fans. Such a beautiful song accompanied with the true essence of a concert - FUN. It was great!! There was SO MUCH confetti, and some of the members were running around with water bottles, casually throwing the water onto the fans (it’s a lot more fun than it sounds). I specifically remember Coups throwing the water at my area and drenching me yay HAHAHA. It was a wonderful last performance, and I really really want to go again if I have the chance :D

Seungcheol- Is it just me or would Seungcheol be super confused at first? “Babe, a package came in the mail? It’s a bunch of manga and anime stuff? When did you buy all this?” He’d find it super cute though when he finds out. A lot of teasing… “Damn sweetheart, you don’t even obsess about Seventeen as much as some of this…” He’d probably be super curious what it was all about. Finds out your next shipment of stuffs is coming at 5:00pm and ends up staying up until 4:00am reading/watching anime. He’s hooked. Now he obsessively nerds out with you about all your favs and y'all get into fights over who’s merch was who’s.

“Stop stealing my manga to read on the toilet, y/n!!!”

Jeonghan- Probably doesn’t understand it whatsoever, but he loves you so he’s not going to complain about it. Unless you’re not paying enough attention to him, then he’ll jokingly take your stuff and hide it somewhere high up or under his shirt. “Yah! Are you in love with this or me, huh?” Always falls asleep on the couch with his head on your shoulder while you’re catching up on the latest and unapologetically fake snores or tickles you to get your attention. Surprisingly takes extreme care to never damage any of your prized possessions until maybe one day when something goes missing and he claims it wasn’t him although you found it under his pillow.

“I swear, I was just using it for scientific research, don’t kill me, y/n.”

Joshua- This dork is freaking the fluff out, he’s always been super into this kind of stuff and can’t believe you never told him so he could have someone to fanboy/girl over it with him. “Have you seen/watched/read this?” “You have to check this one out, y/n!” You both probably have every evening dedicated to geeking out together and making theories, a lot of discussions and arguments over plot, favorite characters, best ships. He’d probably be more happy about the whole thing than you are because now he doesn’t have to hide it either.

“Y/n, this just means we're a better match for each other, more than we thought!”

Jun- Oh my god this boi will tease you forever I swear. But not in the mean way, just enough to make you react in a way he thinks is freaking adorable. Hoshi- Turns into a little fluffy hamster because even if he doesn’t like it as much as dance, he can appreciate you and your loves. In his mind it’s like, me = dance, y/n = anime. Thinks your reaction is the fluffiest ever so constantly buys you manga or anime plushies. Definitely will watch your shows with you. Cries when someone dies. “Y/n why? did? that? why?” “Soonyoungie, that didn’t kill them, they have powers.” “Oh.” Gets inspired by the manga or anime and creates seventeen’s choreography with it. So next time you guys watch or read together,

Wonwoo- You know this boy already loves to read. So when he finds out you like anime and manga, he’s reluctant. Not because he’s judging you but because he wants to like it too but what if manga isn’t his thing. Ends up really liking some of them because he really likes the plot, character, etc. Becomes comfortable with all the pictures with words. And secretly loves it just as much as you. “Y/n~ look what I got.” “HOW. THAT JUST RELEASED!” “Hehe, when me and the guys were in Japan...” You guys read them together. Always. But.

“BABE, did you read the first chapter without me?? I can see the book creases!”

Woozi- He’s the one pretending to not understand why you’re obsessing over this when he knows perfectly well why. Endless teasing, “Babe, why is there a small plastic person staring at me when we sleep?” Secretly thinks it’s adorable but would never admit it to you. He also loves anime but every time you bring this up he’s like, “what? who”. Denies any kind of fanboying he’s ever done. “nope you got the wrong person.” One day out of nowhere, he makes you listen to this track. “I got inspired while you were listening to that ost, and your love and passion for it made me realize all over again how beautiful you are and I put this together to remind you of that.”

“I can sometimes pay attention, you know y/n, and what I saw, I won’t forget, passion and beauty, something I admire a lot.”

Dk- Practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. Will ask you to explain everything too him with a bright smile. Get into multiple anime and manga but forgets it all. Always wants to watch it to see what’s it about but asks questions. “I DIDN’T KNOW THEY COULD DO THAT” Still fanboys with you, hypes everything up, buys you gifts when he remembers. You think he’s the most adorable ever because he’ll fanboy about something not knowing it at all. “Do you remember this character at all?” "Nope"

“Which one is that, y/n? Should I style my hair like that? Would it make you laugh?”

MIngyu- Protests about it at first, but will end up doing everything with you. Only protests because he wanted you to fangirl about him. He tries really hard to get into stuff with you, but he doesn't really ever understand what happens. He's too distracted by their hair colors and outfit choices to pay attention to the plot. He's willing to bake themed cakes and make other themed foods for you whenever though, keeps dinners interesting. And good luck if you fangirl/boy over just one character too much. That's going to make Mingyu playfully jealous, a lot of tickling and teasing and chasing around the sofa if you keep going on and on about your fav.

"I mean I admit he’s handsome and cool, but I’m a much better visual to stare at.”

The8- He'd probably act the most indifferent on the outside, "I'm not stupid, y/n, there's a life-size cardboard cutout in the closet, did you think I didn't notice?" "Everyone has their own likes and preferences, doesn't change the fact that I love you. So why even hide it in the first place?" Secretly looks at your stuff so one day when you're talking about your fav otp, out of nowhere he says, " ______ makes a better couple though." You both would probably playfully bicker over the best couples all the time. He still pretends he's not just as obsessive as you are though.

"I love you, quirks and all. Plus if you can still love me after trying to flip water bottles for a good hour or so, it all works out in the end."

Seungkwan- Is like what is this? at first. But honestly just pretending because he already kinda knew because of Joshua. Just wanted to see you slightly offended because you look cute. He's going to be EXTRA af though. Goes around screaming character catchphrases and singing the OST's at the top of his lungs. Cosplays as characters he barely knows and jumps off of chairs and from behind doors to scare you. "Guess who I am babe?" Acts out scenes repeatedly and runs around yelling and overacting as usual. Is fascinated by the costuming choices,

“Gosh for seventeen next concept, we’ll dress up as anime characters.”

Vernon- Finds it hella hilarious because he fanboys over stuff all the time and now he knows you do too. Y'all now both have your own fandoms that you always obsess over and neither of you want to get into the other's. "A new episode comes out tonight!" "I already called dibs on the tv though!" A lot of tickle fights to see who gets the tv. He thinks it's great that you have obsessions like he does and although you both aren't really interested in each other's fandoms, y'all fangirl/boy together. Also steals your fav character body pillow to snuggle with.

"I don't know who this is, but if you want it back y/n, you're going to have to take its place."

Dino- This cutie is a confused marshmallow. He's really respectful of your interests though, and never refuses you when you ask him to watch something with you. He can't help it, you're too cute to refuse. He, like Minghao, wouldn't understand why you had to hide it though. He'll drag you out to stores he researched and ask you to pick out all your favs, and then just listens to you rant about certain issues or episodes or characters. He loves listening to you go on and on about it and out of curiosity ask you to point out stuff in shops and explain the whole plot to him.

"SO you're telling me, that there are like 60 characters you have to keep track of? How?"

KCON LA 2017 fanaccount!!

part 2: more Seventeen + the concert, ft. SF9, VIXX, and D&E :)

I was on twitter looking at (other people's) pictures from hi-touch and I realized I don't remember touching Seventeen's rings??? Lol it's a weird detail, idk. Maybe the angle of my hand wouldn't have put me in contact with their rings anyway, but I don't remember feeling the rings. Oh well 😂

Also this is super random, but I took a class spring quarter on learning and memory and this hi-touch experience has been just a perfect real-world example of how human memory is so fickle 😂😂😂 I was looking back at the videos I filmed of myself talking to my sister after the hi-touch and there’s some stuff in there (ex. I said that I remembered looking at Seokmin, Mingyu, and Seungkwan’s faces) that for the life of me I cannot recall now 😂😂😂 that’s how the brain works I guess lol

Anyway, some more things from the Seventeen session and then the concert!

-Seungkwan was asked to sing his favorite pop song and he sang an Adele song (When We Were Young I think). I was LIVING! I love that boy's voice and I'm so glad I got to hear it.

-Vernon rapped a bit and it was so hype!! Omg but before he started rapping, he and Seungkwan just kinda looked at each other for a few seconds like they were giving each other support or something?????? Idk but it was the cutest thing I’ve ever seen, I love verkwan ❤️❤️❤️

-BUT THEN WONWOO SANG TOO AND I LOST IT oh my god. His voice is so good, I was in heaven. What I wouldn't give for a Wonwoo solo debut 😍😍😍

-they were asked who the mom and dad of the group are and Mingyu was like (of course) Coups hyung and Jeonghan hyung!!! And Coups pulled Jeonghan in for a very cute hug but I'm laughing because I'm pretty sure Jihoon had a look of mild disgust on his face 😂😂😂 the eternal jeongcheol vs jicheol struggle, y'all 😄

-Seokmin got carried away and threw the die at the crowd like it was a concert and I think it may have almost hit a staff or something 😂 he was so flustered! He kept bowing and apologizing, it was so funny 😅

-Jeonghan was asked to do aegyo. You can imagine how that ended 😂 I cringed so hard but I also felt so much love for him in the same instant. It's a unique experience 😂

-MINGYU WAS FORCED TO DO A SEXY DANCE I'M STILL SCREAMING/CRYING/LAUGHING. He's so shy and bashful, oh my god, he's so precious 😍 I can't remember if this was before or after he rolled the die, but his face was so priceless when the members ruthlessly pushed him out to the front. He was like W H A T WHY ME????? I love Kim Mingyu, my overgrown human puppy 😍 also though I'm shook because whenever Mingyu dances, it just gives me flashbacks to when Kai from EXO was my ultimate bias 😂 they're so similar!!! But this isn't the place to talk about Kai haha. Mingyu was adorable! He was doing bodyrolls really shyly, almost resignedly lmao, and every few seconds he'd straighten up and shake his head and beg for mercy with his puppy eyes. Seungkwan stepped up partway through and put his hands on Mingyu's abs and was like HERE, YOU HAVE TO MOVE THIS PART 😂😂😂 I was like, Seungkwan, let your hyung live!!! Lmao. (Altho Seungkwan's actually 97 line because his birthday is early? Anyway.) I also noticed Wonwoo laughing his fkin ass off at Mingyu's misfortune. What a terrible boyfriend (kidding!!!) 😂 (tbh I probably ship gyuhao more now, Minghao already wrecked my bias list anyway, what's another wrecked list)

-before the game, Jihoon was asked to give advice to fans who are thinking about pursuing music/music production. It was really sweet! He basically said, "A lot of people think it's really hard to start making music, but just keep working on it, don't give up, and make lots of songs that you can show the world."

Okayyy now on to the concert! I actually bought two support banners (Seventeen and VIXX) but since I was sitting pretty far back, I'm pretty sure they didn't see me 😂 that's ok, I heard Seungkwan saw the banner that some of the floor people were holding up so at least he saw it! Also I didn't have a light stick (only a small glow stick) because I'm silly - next time, I swear!

They brought Coups, Vernon, and Joshua out as special MCs and I lost it omg. Minghao may have stolen my heart but Coups is still the captain of this frickin' ship! I love him 😌 Mingyu also came out later as an MC (replacing Coups). I was looking at him during one of his MC parts and like wooooow he is TALL. His legs are literally miles long, it's breathtaking.

I think Hansol made the biggest impression on me out of the four of them; he was so beautiful and did a really good job of making his lines sound smooth and not scripted. That boy was born for show business, I swear. (As an aside, Jisoo's English sounds super sarcastic to me????? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 idk maybe I'm just not used to him speaking English unless it's some meme-worthy occasion. Or it's his valley accent?? No idea haha, but he drawls his words a lot and it's really amusing to listen to.) Hansol also frequently went off script to say sweet things (and correct the script's lackluster choice of words on at least one occasion, lmao). Like, there was a part where they wanted to get the audience to kinda do a random play dance, and the script was like "let's stretch first, stretch your arms and legs" and Vernon added "you can't get injured and stuff!!" He was so sweet 😍

Speaking of the script, during SF9's talking portion (they opened the show), I was looking for the teleprompters but didn't see them until later. At first I was like "wow, their English is really good!" but then I was like, wait, is there a teleprompter? Lol. As the show went on I suspected there was a script, because there were subtitles on the big screen at the same time as (sometimes even before) idols were talking and I was like, ok, translation technology ain't THAT good. The point I'm tryna make in the end is that a) that's how I know Hansol was going off script and b) Seventeen - who closed the concert btw, what gods - barely had a script. It was just really free-flowing and genuine and they were interacting with the audience and it was amazing. You could tell they loved being with all the fans and they really commanded the stage and made it super fun. Seventeen are literal gods, when will your faves. (No hard feelings please!! Lmao it's all in good fun!)

Anyway back to the show lol. I love SF9 and they deserve the world omg. They're SUCH good performers; their choreo is amazing and their songs are great!! Their energy on the stage is incredible, even when they were just talking, and everyone should Iove them 😍 they performed Fanfare, Jungle Game(?), and Easy Love. Their English is seriously really good, even considering the teleprompter! It didn't sound like they were just reading off a script at all; idk the word for it in English but the way their sentences flowed was very authentic and I know they must have tried really hard to practice their lines for their American fans. Everyone please stan SF9 😍

I'm really sorry but I'm gonna gloss over Cosmic Girls and Girl's Day - I'm not into either of them but of course they did really well! Girl's Day really owned the stage with I'll Be Yours, Something, and Ring Ma Bell. Some of the girls in Cosmic Girls seemed a bit tired, so props to them for still pulling off a great performance with Happy, I Wish(?), and Secret!

Now, Cosmic Girls' cover of BTS' I Need U is the kinda content I'm here for!!! I don't like Cosmic Girls' usual cutesy concept because it attracts some really creepy fanboys and I feel that it doesn't show off their real talent, so it was really refreshing to see them killing a guy group dance. I think Cheng Xiao did a flip! I'm assuming it was her 😅

SF9 covered Sorry Sorry after them and then it transitioned seamlessly into Super Junior D&E - great planning, y'all 😏 the atmosphere in the audience was so hype!! They were flashing Super Junior's stats on the big screen and it was so easy to forget that I'm not even into Super Junior anymore 😂 I'm still disappointed with the members who have been unapologetically and/or repeatedly problematic (and smh @ Eunhyuk's dreads at the concert, but ya can't spell smh without SM I guess), but I can't help but feel proud of Super Junior for being responsible for kpop's initial surge of international popularity 😊

Fun fact, I went to SMTOWN NYC 2011 and saw Super Junior there. It's really amazing that Donghae and Eunhyuk are still so active in the industry, five and a half years later! Both of them, but especially Donghae, came onto the stage like they owned the goddamn place. I'm blown away by how handsome Donghae still is! He's aged a bit since I last saw him, for sure, but it's a great look on him. He's so handsome, oh my god. The two of them did Growing Pains, I Wanna Dance (Korean version, which I didn't know existed), another song from their album I think, and the classic Oppa Oppa. It was lit 🔥 they were so sweet too, they kept apologizing for "taking so long to see you again" and thanking the fans for waiting 😭 I'm not crying, you're crying!

VIXX was so powerful! I'm glad they didn't perform Dynamite LOL no offense but that's my least favorite of their title songs 😂 they did Shangri-La, Black Out, and Fantasy! Jaehwan was so loud holy heck lol. He's basically Seokmin in five years, I swear. (Speaking of which, I can totally see D&E being soonseok in ten years 😍) I got so excited when Hyuk sang too! I still remember when he was an awkward smol 😌 but Hakyeon will always have my heart ❤️ there was a part in Shangri-La where he was supposed to be serious but couldn't hold back a smile, so he covered his face with his fan 😂 it was the cutest freaking thing 😍

They did a "piñata" game where a random mission popped up on the screen (the choices were aegyo, photo time, sexy dance, random play, and proposal). They saw the proposal choice and started joking about it - I laughed so hard when Hyuk threw himself on his knees and was like N, MARRY ME! And Hakyeon was like SURE! 😂 his English was so freaking sexy 😂

oKaY and now for the moment we've all been waiting for......say the name (SEVENTEEN)! 😍

They made their first appearance with unit performances and I was like OH MY GOD MINGHAO WAS ACTUALLY RIGHT!!!! In the video that they did for KCON previously, they were ~speculating~ about what special performances they would do, and Minghao was all like, well, we do have three units 😏 so proud of my boy for tellin' it like it is!!!

Performance unit came on with Swimming Fool and I screamed so loudly omg. I've been waiting to see this choreo since forever!! And as a newly reborn Minghao bias I was living for every second he appeared on the big screen 😍😍😍😍 I was a little sad though because Hoshi's been showing off this choreo at fansigns for MONTHS and I just know he's been so eager to perform it, but he couldn't make it 😭 It was also compounded during the parts where the other three blatantly left Soonyoung's spot empty. Like, ok, there's a hole in the choreo, I guess there's a hole in my heart too now. This is fine.

But before we go down the rabbit hole of "I miss Soonyoung so much I'm gonna cry" VOCAL UNIT KILLED ME. Habit is literally my favorite vocal unit song, second only to We Gonna Make It Shine but Jesus, there's no way I'm ever gonna hear that live unless I make it to a Seventeen concert (GOD, I hope they still perform that song in later tours). Joshua and Jihoon and Jeonghan all sounded so angelic and pure and then I literally burst into tears when the chorus hit - that's a huge compliment coming from me, I never cry. Seungkwan my baby boo 😍 and then Seokmin too, omg. I love vocal unit 😍

Then vocal unit left and I was like oh no. OH NO. HIP HOP UNIT. I was actually expecting If I but then it was Check In and I was shook! They showed up in the middle of the audience too and I think I literally would've died if I had been near them. I love hip hop unit 😍 also - and I say this like I'm surprised, and I honestly kind of am, and I really shouldn't be but - Wonwoo is so. hot. Holy shit man, like I always thought Mingyu was the (slightly) better-looking out of the two of them but holy shit, Wonwoo's stage presence is unbelievable. I was halfway across the stadium and I could feel his charisma. Believe me, I don't throw around the word "hot" lightly. Wonwoo had me seriously shook. He's so hot. I can't believe middle school Wonwoo blossomed into this gorgeous, brilliant performer. True art right there. He was also really smiley when he wasn't busy being hot and I was living for it omg. I love Wonwoo's smile so much and I hadn't seen enough of it lately 😍😍

As the concert went on I was confused as to whether Seventeen was gonna come back and perform as a whole group or not because everyone else had been doing 3-4 songs and I was like "was that Seventeen's three songs??? Nooooo" but then it turns out they were closing the concert!!!!!!! Seventeen are gods I tell you, literal gods 🙌🏽

Oh my god, the fanchants were so loud and I've never been prouder to be part of a fandom. As we were waiting for Seventeen to come on, they were playing this heartbeat sound over and over and in the silence between heartbeats people started chanting SEVENTEEN! SEVENTEEN! I got chills 😍😍😍😍😍😍 I hope our boys heard us!!!!! (Click here to see it!!!!!!!)

As an aside, somewhere around the unit performances I noticed that a lot of the idols weren't singing live. The rappers had the big handheld mics which are supposedly better for actual live sound, whereas most of the other idols had the small mics taped to their cheeks. I mean, clearly I'm pointing this out because I, as a singer, appreciate it when people sing live, but I understand that this is a concert and the focus is more on the performance overall (i.e. the dancing and energy). I still really enjoyed everyone's performances of course!

HOWEVER! Seventeen was an exception, as usual! Not only did they freakin' kill their whole set and get the audience really hyped, almost all of them had the handheld mics and even those who didn't, I'm pretty sure they also sang live (lookin' at you, Chan and Hansol. I love it when my babies sing 😍). Also, shoutout to performance unit for singing live AND dancing like woooow, step aside vocal unit! 😅 I've said this so many times already but I'll say it again: Seventeen are LITERAL gods. I couldn't be prouder of my boys ❤️

Lol I also remember that everyone was speculating about what songs they were gonna do and there were so many names being thrown out, but between the special unit performances and the group set, I think Seventeen managed to surprise us all! As expected of our boys 😍 They came on with Don't Wanna Cry first, of course, including the cool extended intro that I love! Seokmin got Soonyoung's line and I screamed omg. I miss Soonyoung 😭

After Don't Wanna Cry the lights dimmed but I could see them getting into their next formation. When I recognized the pinwheel formation I LOST IT oh my god. ROCK!!!!!!!!!! Rock is one of my favorite songs and I'm so glad I got to see it live. I bet you they chose to do Rock because of the 360 stage. Seventeen back at it again with how considerate they always are to their fans ❤️ I wanna say Chan got Hoshi's lines? I'm not entirely sure but of course, the performance was amazing! I felt a twinge in my heart at the hole in the choreo where Soonyoung should've been but that's ok 😭

(I feel that it should be noted at this point that Soonyoung is N O W H E R E near the top of my bias list?????? lolololol I love and miss him so much though 😅)

Hearing all of them speak English during their talking portion was so nice. Everyone's English is so good! Mingyu especially had me shook because his English always goes from 0-100 REAL FAST. Seungkwan was so excited!!!!! I love seeing Seungkwan on stage, he's totally in his element there and he's a master at hyping the audience. Also Seokmin was loud af lmao whaddya expect 😂

Speaking of being considerate, Seventeen actually surprised me by greeting both sides of the audience! They did their "say the name! Seventeen!" greeting to my half of the audience first (the diamond/platinum/P1 side), but then they freaking TURNED AROUND and repeated their greeting to the other half of the audience! It doesn't sound like a big deal but no one else even did that! They're so sweet, I love my boys ❤️❤️❤️

They also did the piñata game and got random play, so they were just jamming out to the songs that came on. It was really cute! Mingyu and Minghao were in the corner farthest from me just off in their own little world 😍 I love gyuhao, they're so sweet with each other 😍 Mansae came on in the random play too and it was so amazing watching everyone do the dance with them!!! Ah also I just remembered! At the very beginning they had all the groups come on stage to wave at the fans and stuff. Seventeen came on and were waving at the fans and then they were supposed to walk to the other side but I guess performance unit missed the memo??? LOL it was so cute! Vocal and hip hop units were starting to walk to the other side and performance unit was looking around all confused before Minghao grabbed Chan and dragged him along as they followed the rest of the group. Later it looked like Minghao was saying something to Jun too, almost like he was nagging him, I was living 😍 I love performance unit! Also during that part Jihoon and Seungcheol were standing next to each other and I for sure saw #interaction 😏 I need more jicheol appreciation in my life ok?

Speaking of my boys getting lost, Vernon, Josh, and Coups did the same thing 😂 after their first MC portion finished the lights went down but I could see them still standing there like uh......where do we go......they were so desperately trying to play it cool 😂😂😂 and then Vernon, I think(?), started walking to one side, before they all realized they were supposed to be going to the opposite side and scurried off 😂 such cuties!

Before their talking portion ended the staff gave them those like, air cannon things stuffed with shirts so they could shoot them at the audience. Mingyu couldn't figure out how to work the thing at first, I cackled so hard (but also me too, Mingyunie, me too). Minghao also had one and he looked way too attractive with it, it was unfair 😳 Afterward when all the shirts were gone and the members reconvened, Seungkwan shouted really urgently "no one got hurt, right???" in Korean and Hansol repeated it in English 😍 I was so touched! It was obviously something that Seungkwan really really felt the need to ask, it sounded like it just burst out of him before he could contain it. He'd been speaking a lot of English up until that point and it was so sweet that he couldn't let himself wait to try to think of the words in English ❤️

As their talking wrapped up they were joking around about their next song, someone (maybe Seokmin? I don't remember) suggested Boom Boom but Vernon was like nahhhh. And Mingyu suggested Adore U and the fans did the point dance along with him! And then Seungkwan, I think(?), was like, "ah, we can't reveal it, but you know, our fans are VERY NICE" and I died 😂😂😂 Jisoo was all fondly exasperated and said, ok, you guys know what our next song is, don't you? 😂😂😂

Seungkwan was hyping the audience like he always does and shouted, "are you ready?!?!?" and the audience screamed! But then Minghao stepped up with this tiny smirk and was like, "one more time, are you ready?!?" I felt so blessed to hear him being so playful in English.

I had a split second of mourning over the fact that I wasn't gonna see Pretty U live but oh my god, Aju Nice was THE BEST choice for closing out the concert. I kind of wanted to cry at how much I loved seeing them perform the song but I was also so excited to see it!!! The Chinaline part had me swooning, I love how Minghao always smirks and gestures to Jun like he's reeling in his catch and I'm like yassss boi get it!!!! I'm so blessed I got to see that interaction with my own eyes. Woozi's part was so pure, I felt cleansed hearing him sing 😌 but I saw both Wonwoo and Seungcheol coming up behind him for their rap part and I was SO HYPED because I always watch the Aju Nice lives from when they were promoting it and Wonwoo wasn't there! I'm sad that Soonyoung wasn't there this time but at least Wonwoo was!

Oh my god, and the part where Seungcheol switches his mic to his other hand just so he can hold Jihoon's hand during the double-line part at the end??? I saw it with my own eyes 😍

The camera focused on Jun for like a full five seconds at the end and I was like DAMN RIGHT! I hope Jun watches this video later and is satisfied with himself 😌

Afterward they brought out all the groups again to wave bye to the fans 😭 Jihoon showed up on the big screen and he was practically glowing, he was smiling and happy and radiant 😍 remember how I said he looked tired at the hi-touch? I hope he got some energy from performing and that the concert and seeing his fans made this hectic trip worth it!!! Lol I also saw them running around with a camera and I was like, this is going into Going Seventeen a few episodes from now, right? 😂

So yeah, the concert had me hella shook!!! I was so hyped that I totally even forgot that Seventeen hadn't done ANY of the songs I was hoping for LOLOLOL I really wanted them to do Pretty U, Shining Diamond, and Love Letter! But it's ok, they were great anyway 😍 I also feel like I remember some butt-touching happening???? I wanna say it was Mingyu but I don’t remember???? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

I also forgot my earplugs lol I was afraid I was gonna go deaf halfway through but I'm fine now 😂 one of the people I went to LA with decided right after the concert that he was gonna find a ticket to Sunday's concert too because it was just so lit! I wish I could've, I really wanted to see Astro live, but I had work on Monday and I couldn't stay 😭

What I Like About Them:

- They work so freakin hard. Last year they had like 3982 comebacks, a tour, they appeared in so many variety shows, they were so active and I’m like?????? I can’t even get myself to get out of bed

- Soooo energetic. They NEVER look tired, they always look like they’re having the time of their lives in EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE

- Speaking of which, their performances are mind-blowing. You never know what to expect, they always change things and make special performances for events. Here are some of my favorite: Melon 2016 // Asia Artist Award 2017 // Mansae (aren’t they so cute omg) // Mama 2016 // Mama 2015 (THAT DANCE BREAK GAVE ME LIFE)

- From what we know, Pledis does not always treat them the best way, but you could never tell just by watching them.

- Very very grateful to fans. They always thank us and want to connect with us. For example, since they opened a Channel + on V app (you have to pay to get exclusive content), they’ve been posting extra content for free, for fans who can’t afford V live’s Ch+. So adorable.

- Their concept is kinda different from what we usually see in the kpop scene. It’s not overly cute and not overly manly. It’s a good mix of both. They’re more into crazy, energetic performances than into cutesy or sexy, you know.

Choi Seungcheol aka S.coups (cheolie) - OKAY AH since he’s your bias I’ll write extra thingsssss!! The faithful general leader and rap boyyy scoops! So this lil bun I thought for a while when I first followed them like oh he’s probably the most normal like he’s level headed and stuff but NOPE NOPE NOPE! SEUNGCHEOL IS ACTUALLY THE BIGGEST CUTIE DORK IN THE WORLD he is afraid of like a lot of things which is too funny bc he’s acts all manly and all the members see him that way and I cannot believe~ like he’s afraid of killing fish and and fireworks and being in front of the camera alone and chopping firewood and doing something that doesn’t get a reaction?? Whenever he does any sort of charm he tells the members to be sure to have a good reaction and BOYY IF THEY DONT he goes off on them I stg… but in all seriousness he is so so so hardworking (he trained for 6 years oh my god) like he always tries to take pressure off his members and he cares for his babies so much and they even call him appa sometimes and they look up to him so much it is the cutest thing like they always rate him so high in looks and I cry love him plz. But he is an actual puppy like w his long eyelashes and pouty face like oh my god and he is getting cuter everyday???? Like actually tho he’s doing it on purpose and I can’t handle it?? How?? He seems like he would be feminine but he is actually one of the most (if not the most) manly members of svt!! But he gets tired so fast tho he is rated #13 in stamina and they call him lying-jeonghan bc he’s always lying down lol. Hannie and seungcheol call the other members “kids” and it is the purest thingJoshua Hong/Hong Jisoo(kor) (shuaaa) - everyone kinda knows josh as the American gentleman w his sweet voice and sick English skills (side note whenever he speaks eng tho he always stutters and I’m like boy why but it’s super cute and ilh) and he can speak five languages (supposedly) he plays guitar and he’s rlly Christian too lol so he’s the resident “church oppa” as the kids say these days and he has a cute cartilage piercing w a cross aw (he also recently got his tragus pierced and damn it looks good but anyway) Also his peach hair was such a good time like wow. Shua seems rlly quiet and I mean he is but oh my god he is so fucking extra LIKE I DONT UNDERSTAND ALL OF A SUDDEN HE BECAME SO EXTRA IDK WAS HE ALWAYS THIS WAY BUT I DIDNT SEE PAST HIS CAT EYES AND SWEET VOICE LIKE WHO KNOWSSSS but he does this pin drop dance thing way too often but it’s hilarious and the members are obsessed w it bc he always says he has a hard time w dance and choreo and this is his only dance move (but tbh he’s actually p good at dancing like i never rlly notice he falls behind or anything except that one time performing pretty u where he started his part too early but that actually created a new part of the choreo they ended up using for a bit fun fact)… that and his samba aka my url sambashua (technically he doesn’t actually samba tho I’m p sure he’s doing the merengue but it’s okay shua I still love u) He’s also a fricking nerd for anime which is great i love it. Josh and Vernon are rlly close bc English buds and they’re the memeist together also him and jeonghan are a true ship bc they came to pledis at the same time and they’re cute

Wen Junhui/Moon Junhui(kor) aka Jun - so jun is ½ of china line and ¼ foreign line. A dancing noodle from southeast China wow (I say noodle bc he is a skinny bean and also v flexible bc he does martial arts things wow) he did Kung Fu in china for a long as heck time and does a lot of kicky things and flips and he’s super cool ALSO FUN FACT: HIS NAME IS JUN AND HE WAS BORN IN JUNE WOOHOO a lot of people assume he’s like sly/greasy but that’s mostly him in like interviewy shows?? But in reality shows and vlives he is actually just such a cute sweet bean and he loves the members so much! He was a child actor in china and was p famous I think for a while?? But he learned Korean p well before he joined pledis (their label btw idk if you know or not lol) BUT EVEN FROM DEBUT HIS PRONUNCIATION HAS KEPT IMPROVING IM SO PROUD a lot of people cal him the true visual of svt (tbh I don’t like that bc they’re all beautiful don’t put anyone down ah) BUT HE IS SO HANDSOME LIKE DAMN BOY HE’S GOT SUCH NICE FEATURES AND HE IS THE CUTEST BEAN IN THE WORLD Alsoooo several of the members have dubbed him svt’s mother bc he’s super encouraging and “endless positivity jun” and he pays special attention to minghao they have the purest friendship!! (plz give him lines)Kwon Soonyoung aka Hoshi (HOSH) - DANCE MASTER AND PERF TEAM LEADER OF SEVENTEEN LIKE OKAY ALL OF PERF TEAM IS SO TALENTED I CAN’T BELIEVE BUT SOONYOUNG IS SO INCREDIBLE HE CAN CREATE DANCES ANYTIME ANYWHERE AND HE EXECUTES THEM SO WELL?? His stage name Hoshi means star in Japanese bc he shines in stage! And he knows Japanese pretty well I don’t think he’s fluent but he cute cute cute!! Anyway people rec him to go on hit the stage (WHICH I AM SO HERE FOR (but also let him rest he needs a break dear god they all do)) he creates all of svt’s dances wow (w help from perf team ofc) but he is actually the squishiest sweetest boy off stage but then on stage he completely transforms into whatever concept like he can take on anything?? I would not have assumed dark concept would work for him BUT BOY HOWDY IT DOES he turns from adorable hamster to sexy dance god in .2 seconds i don’t understand how people who bias him survive tbh… He is also SHINee’s biggest fan oh my god and the fact that he now stands on the same stages as them literally blows his mind he is such a fanboy i love♥ HE CARES FOR HIS MEMBERS SO MUCH (I realize I’ve said this abt everyone but hey hey they have a lot of love) he wrote HIGHLIGHT as his first time ever helping produce/write lyrics and I’m so proud:D AND HIS VOICE HIS SO GOOD he’s just so bouncy and good and so attractive??? He goes by 10:10 bc his eyes are like the hands of a clock at 10:10 wowie and EYE SMILES FOR DAYS~ just a sweet lil bab w a pure heart honestlyJeon Wonwoo (wonu aka the loml) - goddammit I hate jeon wonwoo JKJK OKAY SO JEON WONWOO IS MY ULT BIAS IMMA DO MY BEST TO KEEP THIS CONCISE BUT IDK HOW IT’S GONNA GO I HAVE A LOT TO SAY! jeon frickin wonwoo has the deepest voice in svt and is known for his deep, smooth rap style wow (his rap style is really unique like if you listen to it it sort of ebbs and flows w the music and he drags out notes sometimes it’s so nice fuck) he sings all the time it’s so great and the members always ask him to read things bc (he’s good at reading generally and) he has his nice deep voice ahh~ JEON FRICKIN WONWOO IS THE BIGGEST DORK IN THE WHOLE WORLD jeon wonwoo enjoys making bad puns and reading books (esp romance ones I hate him). The other members act like they hate his jokes but they always laugh at what he says and when he was gone (rip he was sick for a couple months from end of may ish to july ish) they mentioned that they missed his dumb jokes (and so did I). He considers himself to be the best looking (what a ho) and he is naturally skinny which a lot of the members are jealous of (but tbh this could be partially because he has a lot of health issues and allergies I just want to care for him and make him food and feed him forever so he gets fat and happy help me) On one fine day he was dubbed the garden fairy and also jeon wonwoo bag of luck oh my god I am so embarrassed by him (jk I love him w the entirety of my heart in case you couldn’t tell) Some of my favorite things abt wonwoo are his little nose crinkles when he smiles and his glasses that look just so cute on him and when he wears big sweaters and then he has sweater paws and he looks so cuddly and soft. He is also so boastful like he is always the first one to support himself it’s so funny but he doesn’t exactly brag it’s more confidence idk but he’s also rlly smart and good at acrostic poems bc he reads so much:) He also always cheers for other members when they want him to i.e. seungkwan when he cheers for himself. He seems shy when he’s on talk shows but I think he just wants to let other people talk but on vlives he always whispers to other members aND I JUST WANT HIM TO SPEAK UP! JEON WONU TELL US WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY but in conclusion I am in love with him and would def recommend anyone to bias him bc honestly he is a good bias just bc he is chill and pure and funny and beautiful (even tho sometimes he’s MIA and quiet as heck pshhh)Lee Jihoon aka Woozi - vocal team leader and producer of p much all their lit ass tunes!! 10/10 MOST HARDWORKING MEMBER OUT OF SVT I’M SORRY IF YOU DISAGREE BUT JIHOON WORKS SO HARD ALL THE TIME I’M SO WORRIED FOR HIM HE NEEDS A BREAK!! It’s so heartbreaking tho if you ever want to cry and cough up your lungs bc of sobs then watch SVT Project where he talks abt how he feels so much pressure and feels like their success or failure is riding on him bc he writes all their music and will determine if they will be any good:(((( BUT OBVIOUSLY THEY ARE A BIG HIT BC JIHOONIE IS SUPER TALENTED AND MAKES THE BEST UPBEAT FUNKY FRESH POP TUNES OF THE CENTURY~ he is one of (if not the) shortest male idols at the moment at a staggering 165cm/5'4"! But it’s so great bc he doesn’t try to hide his heigh and he is considered and “inspiration to short men” according to one fashion report. The members always say he is rlly manly but on camera he acts cute and 10/10 appreciate it bc he is the cutest ever but only subtly… like he embarrassingly/shyly covers his face so cutely and gets angry so adorably where he just glares aw (he has also confirmed that he considers himself to be more cute than scary) woozi is a abbreviation of “our jihoon” which is the cutest asjkdhskl. He is also seventeen’s grandpa bc he is rlly not too hip at all but they try to help him out anyway! He also winks 24/7 lol. His voice is rlly clear and piercing like he often sings parts of the chorus and his voice draws you in idk it’s nice:) he trained for the second longest amount after scoops (5 years) so they’re super close bc they were together longer than the other membersLee Seokmin aka Dokyeom/DK - an actual ray of sunshine w the most incredible vocals like wow! He is svt’s “happy virus” and boy does he own it!! He is always smiling and laughing and making jokes he is the cutest I stg… He also has a more built figure physically and it’s hot as heck tbh. He, seungkwannie and soonyoung make up the “booseoksoon” trio which is basically the extra/mc/always laughing squad and they are such close friends it’s the cutest ever boo and hosh think he’s the funniest person in the world I love it!! Seokmin also puts a lot of pressure on himself bc he’s main vocal and I feel like he’s super underrated???? But he went on King of Masked Singer and I think he made it through two or three rounds? Anyway he did rlly rlly good (even tho honestly think he has way more potential than what he showed) and I hope it boosted his confidence bc he is incredible!! The judges assumed he was from an older group bc his voice was so mature eeeee!! HE IS SO LOUD OH MY GOD one time they said that the CEO could hear him practicing from the 4th floor while he was in the basement I- He is always the first person to make fun of himself and he doesn’t mind being the brunt of a joke as long as he gets people to laugh it’s adorable:)) He always brings up the mood and helps out the members whenever there is awkwardness w being filmed and such JUST SUPPORT THIS SUNNY BOY HE HAS SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY IN HIS HEART!!Kim Mingyu - the tallest bean on the block and svt’s “visual tree” at a staggering 190cm/6'1" (correct me if I’m wrong I didn’t look this up) but I’m p sure he has grown recently bc he is getting taller everyday I swear? He’s got some good rap mhmm~ But he is such a clumsy pup and the members always make fun of him but it’s okay bc he can take it (he has the best reaction so that’s why they do it) He is dropping things and tripping 25/8 and it’s the cutest thing! But “housewife ming” can legit do anything like he is a true man of many talents damn i.e. cooking, hairstyling, acting, cleaning… But he is so so pretty like who the heck allowed him to be this attractive?? Gyu goes from super visual savior to fluffy pup on the daily and it’s too much to handle… Idk he seems like he might be super cool and chic when you first see him but he is actually just a giggly fool always having a hard time… Mingyu is the only one in svt that I would call the “visual” (only bc he is officially the visual i think they are literally gorgeous okay!!) but he is actually rlly insecure abt it and only calls himself “aspiring visual” and it’s mostly bc of his dark complexion WHICH IS COMPLETELY FLAWLESS AND SO BEAUTIFUL STOP WHITEWASHING KIM MINGYU PLZ but i rlly commend him for being visual despite common opinions/standards on skin color in korea. A lot of people (okay most people) ship him and wonwoo (aka meanie) and I do too, don’t get me wrong, but my all time favorite ship is mingyu and minghao (aka gyuhao) bc same age, they act like they hate each other but are actually super supportive (one of my fave tropes blah) and idk they’re both just confused pups help me and w that transition…

Xu Minghao/Seo Myungho(kor) aka The8 (i never call him the8 ever srry b i don’t like it idk ah) - our “cool cutie” from northeast(i think) China with the most killer bboying skills i’ve ever seen in kpop! He now introduces himself as “The8 with infinite possibilities” and he has been growing more and more as an artist and a person I’m so proud of him!! He trained for the shortest amount of time (~1year+2months i believe) and he really struggled w Korean when he first started. Even after debut he was very quiet but he has been talking more and more lately and he has been doing so well!! Minghao is cute as heck but he is also (along w hannie) svt’s Resident Savage™ and the main usage of his Korean improvement has gone into calling out the other members w his incredible comebacks. Two of his favorite targets seem to be soonyoung and mingyu but he rlly doesn’t hold back on anyone (except maybe jun bc they are such good buddies bc china line and jun helps him w his korean asjkklfjls) But anyway he is an incredible dancer and singer and also rapper!! (give him more lines plz plz plz) vernon has been helping him w his korean rapping but he is already one lit mandarin rapper like damn… But minghao is the most supportive member of svt (hear me out) whenever they do broadcasts or radio shows minghao always gives thumbs ups/supportive smiles/high fives it is the purest thing and part of the reason I love him sm!!! He’s also super cuddly and is always touching/hugging the other members asjkltfasd. Sometimes he doesn’t quite understand a question and the other members help explain it to him it’s my favorite concept (it’s usually soonyoung or seungcheol but i’ve seen p much all of them do it) lately he has been getting more meme-y and idk how to feel but as long as he’s getting out of his comfort zone I am immensely proud of him:))

Boo Seungkwan (boo) - the other main vocal in svt and just generally the loudest and usually mc for the group. Boo has some of the most incredible vocals i’ve seen in my life and he sings probably my favorite cover duet of all time (the high note around 3:05 makes me emotional every time istg also their reactions are me) He’s so talented and his voice is so clear and nice and his RANGE! I could go on forever… To describe seungkwan in two words would be sweet and sassy… He is part of maknae/baby line but he’s always calling people out and bossing them around it’s hilarious. (he is generally hilarious tbh) Also he’s a huge volleyball program nerd it’s great (and possibly haikyuu!! but not confirmed) He’s commonly referred to as divaboo and the video just seungkwan things captures all his divaness perfectly 10/10 would rec! He’s also super english-y all the time probably bc he spends so much time w vernon which is great for us international fans whoop whoop. But back to him being sweet- even though he is definitely his own biggest fan (in the most adorable way omg) he is also svt’s biggest fan he always cheers on his members it’s so cute he’s so soft and good! He cares so much for the fans and he’s head of the Seventeen Fan Cafe (i think) and he’s great abt interacting w carats and all that fanservicey stuff:) He is also super underappreciated honestly support him bc he supports everyone else even tho he’s rlly insecure abt his looks and body even tho he is the most beautiful boo w THE BEST CHEEKBONES IN THE UNIVERSE HAVE YOU SEEN THOSE THINGS DAMN BOY

Hansol Vernon Chwe/Choi Hansol(kor) aka Vernon (bernonie) - One of the most well-known members of svt bc he’s half white and was also a child actor. He has some of the most lit raps tbh and i’m p sure every single one (or almost) has english in it lol. His mom is white and American and his dad is from Korea. Technically he was born in New York, USA BUT BUT BUT he moved to korea when he was five so he doesn’t remember it like at all and every host ever asks him abt it and he always has to say he is basically korean and JUST LET HIM LIVE but since his mom speaks english he is fluent in it (but he has said he is better at korean) He is super super visual and he gets more attractive every day like who the heckkk. Hansol is one of the more popular members so a lot of people would expect him to be outgoing (or even douchey bc he’s half white which is dumb yet it happens) but he is one of the quietest members and usually doesn’t speak up in interviews and such bc he’s kinda shy! BUT THIS DOES NOT I REPEAT DOES NOT MEAN HE IS NOT A MEME!! VERNON IS CONFIRMED THE MEMEIST MEMBER OF SVT ALONG W JOSHUA DON’T FIGHT ME. At this point he has even been dubbed “memesol” bc he makes the best reaction faces in recorded history dear god. He also finds literally everything so hilarious and definitely laughs the most whenever the other members do anything. But honestly he is a super cute, sweet pup who deserves a whole lotta love!! also kinda unrelated but one of my favorite posts of all time is dedicated to him i don’t even know…

Lee Chan aka Dino (MY SON) - I DON’T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START W THIS LIL BAB! Lee Chan is svt’s “small giant” maknae who is Michael Jackson’s #1 Fan™ and literal dancing machineeee! He has grown so much since debut i cannot believe and he is getting more confident MY BOY! Honestly his glow up should be some kinda world record bc oh my god it hasn’t even been two years?? AND HIS RAP HAS IMPROVED SO MUCH LIKE EVEN FROM JAM JAM TO OMG Vernon rapped most of jam jam but then in omg chan rapped all of it by himself!!!! ALSO EVEN FROM OMG TO HIGHLIGHT NOW HE TRANSITIONS FROM RAPPING STRAIGHT INTO SINGING WITH THE SAME BREATH I CANNOT BELIEVE!! But he is so creative and funny and full of energy!! He helps hoshi w most of the dances (i think he did most of the choreo for jam jam) and his stage name is dino bc when he steps on the stage he takes it over and becomes a big presence like a dinosaur which is so creative??? he also graduated high school a while back and then just too his entrance exams!! I’m so proud!! But he tries so hard to keep improving and he’s just so pure and has a complete heart of gold♥ He also aspires to be an mc and he works rlly hard to improve his skills on that front too! Chan is so incredibly talented, but again not a whole lot of people bias him which is crazy???? Bc he is so hansome and also my son?? also lowkey savage af But all the members love him a whole lot and he is their baby, even though he is now “an adult” but srry bun no one will probably ever stop calling him baby (esp jeonghan)
