Anson Mount and Ethan Peck at FAN EXPO Canada

Some pictures and Twitter reactions of Anson and Ethan's panel today (called "We've Established Contact with Ethan Peck and Anson Mount") at the FAN EXPO convention in Toronto, Canada, August 26 2023.

Strange New Pod posted a clip of the huge waiting line for the panel, writing: "This is the line to see Anson Mount and Ethan Peck. People have been lined up for over an HOUR for this panel and it still doesn’t start for another 45 minutes."

Another fan pointed out: "The longest line at FAN EXPO CANADA I've seen has been for the Anson Mount and Ethan Peck panel. It's wrapping around three hallways. The fact that it's not in a bigger hall here is ridiculous. This video by Strange New Pod was taken 10 min after the line started."

Anson and Ethan were also signing autographs and doing photo ops with fans; more photo ops are tomorrow!

Tamagotchi Spotted at FanExpo Canada

Fan Expo Canada is an annual speculative fiction fan convention held in Toronto, Ontario. The expo ran from August 24th, through August 27th, 2023 and LongMagikarp on Reddit was able to attend and they spotted some Tamagotchi’s!

It does not appear that Bandai had any official presence at the expo, but some resellers were selling various Tamagotchi products. Also, by the look of the legacy Tamagotchi Original packaging, these shells have been around, and were heavily marked up in price.

We spy Tamagotchi Original, Digimon, Star Wars R2-D2, Grogu, Jurassic World, Hello Kitty, TinyTAN, PAC-MAN, and Evangelion Tamagotchi Nano’s.

All Of Our Favorite Cosplay from Fan Expo Canada 2023

Fan Expo Canada 2023 is a fantastic show and it is exciting to share our experience at this year’s event in Toronto. This year’s show is our third time attending a FanExpo but we have experience from years of the New York Comic Con. 2022 is the first show in Toronto since the onset of the pandemic and It’s great being able to attend in-person this year. Cosplayers turning up in droves to one of the most important nerds and geeks shows in years feels fantastic.
