My experience at Fan Expo Chicago (Saturday)

It was the first time I’d ever been to a con like that (& my first con in over a decade) and the only reason I was going was to meet Hayden Christensen. I was so lucky to be able to meet up with @bimbo-baggins17 because otherwise I would’ve been agonizing all day in line about what was about to happen so socializing with her really helped.

The photo op went so quick I step up and Hayden put out his hand so I shook it & then he proceeded to stare into my eyes. In the moment I felt like I was supposed to say SOMETHING! But I didn’t know what. (My name probably would have been good. 🤷‍♀️) idk my mind was racing like a mile minute trying to come up with anything but it couldn’t becasue HAYDEN!! So I just stared back blankly shaking his hand, then silently went to take the picture and walked away.

The autograph went better. @bimbo-baggins17 had made him a friendship bracelet but was to nervous to give it to him, but this gave me a purpose & something to say so I was fine giving it to him.

I walk up and handed him the bracelet and I’m like “here this is for you, she made it” *points to her right next to me*

Hayden- “wait who made this? *looks at bimbo-baggins17*

bimbo-baggins17- all shy* “nods”

HC- “thank you and said that was very sweet”

Hayden then *looks at the teeny tiny film strip i have for him to sign & holds it up to the light to see what it is”

Me- “you can sign it just wherever I know it’s small I’m putting it in a keychain.

HC- “oh cool”

Me- “you ever think you’d write a book like your mom & your sister?”

HC- “hmm maybe. Did you read it?”

Me- “yeah! I really like it!”

HC- “all excited* Yeah! Thank you! *hands me my film strip back*

Words cannot express how truly amazing this con was! This was, by far, one of the greatest gifts that Skydaddy has given me! With that said...

On Saturday, I did photo ops with Hyaden. Which he was just so excited to see my special Leafs shirt and get the Leafs bracelet I made him. 💙🤍 Unfortunately though, I froze up soooo bad. Sassyness just bam...gone...out the window. 😭 But he was so patient with me. Pulled me in for a side hug, gave me backrubs, and told me "it's okay". Also, lord, he smelled so good...like mountain freshness, mixed with rain. 🫠

Thankfully though, I was able to redeem myself on Sunday.

I got to see him for autographs first thing in the morning. (Best way to start your day, 10/10) I was finally able to talk to him without being a shy bean. Again, he was excited to see my special Jays shirt; got a be kick out of me being a fan of both teams. 💙🤍 Got a good laugh out of my 'Crispy, Not Burnt' keychain on the Anakin backpack...along with the 'Bad Dad Star Wars Jokes' book I gave him. And was so happy to get some homemade 'crack' cookies from me. Poor guy though, he accidentally mispronuced my name at first and just kept apologizing while we both kept trying to shake with the wrong hand. 😂

After the autographs, Skydaddy and I got to see him and Rosario for the team-up photo. Where right off the bat, as soon as he saw me, he thanked me for the cookies again and told me he really liked them. I was able to give the two of them the matching bracelets I made (Worlds Best Padawan and Worlds Okayish Master). And before we went to leave, Hayden thanked me again and gave me more backrubs. ❤️

Finally, not too long after the team up, I went to get an autograph from Rosario. Which she got her own container of 'crack' cookies, she was very excited about that. And told me about how after she and Hayden finished the team up pics, they finally got the chance to see what the bracelets said. Apparently they both got a good laugh out of them and Hayden said, "Okayish? Only Okayish?" 😂

Again...this was truly an amazing con! I can't wait to have the opportunity to see both of them again! And hopefully I didn't bore you, lovelies, with my experience post! 🖤💛

also I just think because he wasn’t sexually assaulted this time like he was in Indiana he felt better. I’m not gonna share my pic again (but it turned out waaaay better and he was smiling huuuuge and held me even closer). He actually smelled a lil this time but I loved it and I’m storing that away to keep in mind FOREVER. We also technically matched cause we were both in all black 🤭 He called me sweet a couple times too 🫶 I made him a bracelet but was too scared to give it to him so @sin-d (also was super excited to meet her!! We spent the whole day together and made some other friends in line) gave it to him for me. She told him I made it and he looked directly at me and was like “oh you made this?” My face was just like 😳 and I nodded. He said thank you and said that was very sweet. I showed him my tattoo again and his signature I told him I met him in Indiana and he got all excited and was like ‘Oh wow yeah, look at that. There it is!’. He was about to go on a smoke break too after a couple more autographs 🤭 I’ll show my autograph at least cause I got a lil more this time.

Also I do wanna say there’s a handful of people that are definitely super strange and delusional in this fandom and probably make it extremely weird for him with how they act towards him in person but we won’t get into that. Just let the poor guy live in peace please 😭

Hello everyone I am pleased to inform you all that I met Charlie Cox for the second time today and HE REMEMBERED ME FROM LAST YEAR!!!
