A3! Troupe Members Blog Update - 11/5/2024 Translation

Mother's Day. - Itaru Chigasaki

Hello. This is Itaru Chigasaki from the Spring Troupe.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Have you all prepared some kind of present?

As for me... The other day, Citron said he wanted a present for Mother's Day, so we went shopping with Sakuya.

If you're wondering why I was dragged into this, it's probably because I play the dad in the Spring Troupe's family etude. By the way, Citron plays the mom, and Sakuya plays one of the sons.

So, Citron wanted a carnation, but it seemed like he liked a bunch of other flowers too. After he thought about it real hard, he settled on a carnation because it's Mother's Day.

I think Citron wanted me to buy the carnation for him, but because Sakuya said he wanted to give it to Citron as a present, we happily let him.

So I prepared something else instead. I received a tie as a gift for Father's Day, you see. I was planning to give Citron the present on Mother's Day on the dot. Since I haven’t given it to him yet, it’d be a spoiler to reveal what it is... Look forward to tomorrow to find out what I got him.

The Spring Troupe is all going out for dinner together tomorrow, so I'll probably give it to him then.

Well then, look forward to the next update.

i LOVE the fact that you don't need to be romancing astarion to get him saying that you're the only one who's ever cared about him. like yes, this is a platonic thing, and also yes it doesn't make it any less valid or important.

and also, 'other people don't have a heart like you, you're you, no-one is like that' is just. so sad. it's a little funny but mostly just sad. and on the other hand, him approving if you tell him there are people who will love him if he lets them, trying to play it off with a 'don't sell yourself short' joke and not being able to fully do so...

especially when, if you do the rounds of camp, you've got karlach right there just FURIOUS about cazador coming after Her People, like. astarion buddy it isn't just me!! you've got a whole team here!! ;;

There shouldn't be any need to go to all the deranged lengths that he does for so many difficult fights and like—argh!"

A frustrated foot stomp. "Why? Why! We were literally fighting for our lives down in that stupid place and we barely managed to get back home in one piece, much less together! And then he goes around pitching fights at whatever like, what broke in his stupid little brain, huh? Why won't he just sit down and eat some god damn bread and go fishing and not fight everything like a normal person?! Ughhh!!

"If he just weren't so—so stupid!! Dummy head! Idiot! He's so stupid dummy idiot head that I can only chase after him and make sure he isn't tripping back into hell because he's just that much of a dummy! And then, he has the gall to say I should stay at home with Mama and everyone else, spouting my arguments against me! Dummy! Fuck that!

"If he's going to keep being this way, I'm not going home until he goes home, and if one of us has to stay in this stupid job, it's not going to be him! And if he wants to complain about it, then he should have listened to me the first time and become a fisherman instead!"
