Jessie's Girl III
Hardersson x Child!Reader
Jessie Fleming x Hardersson!Reader
Part of The Big Adventures Universe
Summary: Your first Jessie nap
You yawn as Magda unstraps you from the car, curling into her warmth against the frigid winter air.
It's early in the morning, much too early for you to be awake, you think. It's early and cold and you're not wearing much but your pjs and a coat to keep you protected from the weather.
You're not even wearing proper shoes, just little slippers that make it look like sharks are eating your feet.
You did not enjoy your early morning wakeup call today, having been exhausted last night after a long day of playing.
You clutch girl-swan and girl-moose as you rest your head on Magda's shoulder while Pernille grabs all the bags out of the back of the car.
You're going to an away game today, up in Liverpool so it was either travelling up there last night or going super early in the morning.
Clearly, the staff had chosen super early in the morning.
It wasn't the best idea, trying to fit that into your schedule but Pernille had purposely tired you out last night so you would sleep the four hour long trip up north.
But, still, getting you up this morning was a nightmare and your steadfast refusal to get dressed this morning meant packing an extra bag of all the clothes you needed to change into when you got there.
"Hey," Pernille says, jostling the hand that's clinging to Magda's shirt collar," You can't fall asleep yet, princesse. Let's get on the bus first."
"Hmm," You say," Nein, Momma."
It's not uncommon for you to slip into one of your other languages when you're tired and neither Pernille nor Magda have to heart to lecture you about it right now.
Magda makes sure to put a little more bounce in her step as she gets to the bus, stepping on and hoping that it's enough to keep you awake.
"Someone not willing to wake up?" Millie laughs when she sees the pyjamas you're still wearing and the massive bedhead you still haven't had brushed out.
"It was definitely a fight this morning," Magda admits, slipping into her seat and forcing you out of your hiding space in her neck," But we're ready to stay awake now, aren't we?"
"Nej."
Magda sighs. "Not even for a little bit?"
"Night-Night."
Pernille swoops in before you can close your eyes though, putting your sippy cup to your mouth and making you take a long drink before she pulls out your favourite goldfish crackers for you to munch on.
"The little miss decided she didn't want to eat breakfast at home," Pernille says to Millie," So we've compromised."
Pernille makes you eat the whole pack and then have another drink from your sippy cup.
"Alright," She says finally, fishing blankie out of your bag and draping it around your shoulders," Do you still want to sleep now?"
She already knows the answer.
The bus will rock around like the car does and the car has always been her secret weapon to get you to sleep. When you were younger and fussy, all Pernille would have to do is pop you in the car and drive around for a bit until you were out like a light.
She knows the bus will have the same affect.
You push your tiny hand against her chest though as a yawn makes its way through your whole body.
"Not-Not with you," You say and Pernille smothers a smile.
"Alright. With Morsa then?"
Magda opens her arms up for you and you poke a tiny finger against her chest too.
"Not with Morsa."
"What? Why not with me?"
You stick your tongue out in answer before Pernille regains your attention.
"Who do you want to sleep with?"
You're still new to Not-Wolfsburg and you don't know everyone that well yet. You know Millie, kind of, because she's Morsa's friend but you don't think you want to nap with her even though she's big and strong and looks like she gives good hugs.
Your eyes scan through the seats as more and more people climb onto the bus. You rule them all out as they pass you so you're not quite sure who exactly you want.
Until Jessie gets on.
You like Jessie a lot. She's warm and cuddly and speaks English you can understand.
"Jessie!" You announce as she slips into the seat on the other side of the aisle to you.
She smiles at the call of her name, capturing your hand for a brief moment before she sits.
"You want to sleep with Jessie?" Pernille checks and your head bobs up and down furiously.
Jessie is the one you want to nap with.
"Alright then."
Pernille lifts you over the aisle into Jessie's arms.
"Wait...what?"
Jessie is sat in a four seater with a table, like how Momma and Morsa and Millie are sitting. Niamh is opposite her, stretched out across two seats, giggling to herself.
"Princesse would like to nap with you," Magda says," She's all ready for bed."
You point at your special slippers. "Sharks eatin' my feet, Jessie," You tell her before yawning again.
"Oh..er..."
"Stretch out, Jessie," Pernille advises," And just let her lay on you. I promise she doesn't moved around much in her sleep."
Jessie does as she's told and lets you find a comfortable position, turning onto your belly and pressing your head against the crook of your neck.
Your blanket's a little bunched up, she notices as the bus engine roars to life and the driver pulls it onto the road.
Carefully, Jessie spreads it out, curving the edges around your body until you're sufficiently covered.
You shuffle a little bit, getting even more comfortable against your favourite Not-Wolfsburg player.
Across the aisle, only ten minutes later, Millie bites down a laugh.
"Looks like both kids are down for the count."

Drawing Touches
Jason Todd x gn!Reader
Fluff. || Word Count: 936
Summary: You wake up on a hot summer night, Jason sleeping beside you. It’s too hot to sleep right next to each other, so why not play a game?
there’s something about shirtless jason and a groggy sleepy voice to match. Also you can see a demonstration of my left handed!jason hc in this and I didn't realize until after.
Side note: i hate the winter and i just really want the warmth even if it’s overbearing so that’s why i made it summer in this fic
Warnings: scar mentions (specifically on back), broken wrist, use of pet names (darling, baby)
Jason hadn’t gone on patrol. This time, you didn’t have to try as hard to convince him to stay while he was injured.
“I might as well,” he had sighed, sitting on the couch. His cast-ridden left hand (where your name was signed in big bold letters) rested beside him on the arm, “I can’t do much with only one hand.”
Now, the two of you were laying in bed. It was a hot summer night and your apartment had no air conditioning. Again.
You had fallen asleep in a tank top and shorts, the blankets thrown off of you early into the night. You were spread out on your back, trying to fall back asleep after waking up to the sound of a car honking in the street below. You let out a breath. It wasn’t hot enough to make you sweat through your clothes, but it was enough to be a tad uncomfortable. You turned onto your side to face Jason.
You assumed he was asleep. He was also on his side, facing away from you, shirtless. The expanse of his scarred, bare back on full display for you in the dark room. He had basketball shorts on “for decency”, and had kept the blankets covering his legs.
You watched his shoulders rise and fall with his breaths, convincing you that he was asleep. It put a smile on your face, seeing the usually stress-ridden man so calm, curled up on your bed.
Scooting closer, you reached out a hand. Ever so slightly, you began to brush your fingers along his back. Your fingers dipped and rose with the scars there, pondering them.
Some you knew, some you didn’t. Some you remembered him getting. One made you recall how he laid beneath you, coaching you through stitching him up as he tried to hide the pain in his voice.
The vibration of his grumble made its way through his skin and into your finger tips. “Thought you were asleep,” he mumbled out, voice groggy.
Feeling the guilt, you place your hand flat along his back, whispering, “Did I wake you?”
“No,” he flipped onto his back slowly, giving you enough time to move your hand, “Been awake since that car honked. Was watchin’ the window.”
Maybe he hadn’t been as stress free as you had believed, “It woke me up, too. It’s too hot to fall back asleep.”
He rubs at his eye with his right hand. His left one drapes over his stomach, the cast blending into the shadows, “Felt good.”
You looked up at him, “The heat?”
He chuckled tiredly, turning his head to look at you, his cheek squished against the pillow, “Your fingers on my back.”
You smiled at him. The two of you were still a few inches apart from each other, an unspoken agreement that it was too hot to cuddle.
“Wanna play a game?” You whispered.
He hummed, “What game?”
“Turn back around.”
Jason let out a low grumble, very close to a whine, “Wanna see you.”
You laugh again, “Turn!”
He grumbled again, turning back onto his side, facing away from you.
Your fingers returned to his back, “Try and guess what I draw.”
He stayed still as you moved your finger. You drew a big circle, which was a little shaky wherever your finger collided with a bumpy scar. After completing it, you made quick, straight lines shooting out from the circle all around it.He didn’t speak again until you were finished, “Mmmmh… lion.”
You giggled, “No.”
He let out a fake groan, “Flower?”
You shook your head, the fabric of the sheets and your pillow rustling underneath you, “Mm-mm.”
Jason thought for a moment, “Do an easier one.”
You clicked your tongue, but did so anyway. You swiped the flat of your hand across his back, pretending to erase the drawing, before beginning the new one.
You could hear the smile in his voice, “A heart.”
You couldn’t help but smile back, “Mm-hmm.”
He turned back around, “My turn.”
Now you flipped over, facing away from him as he faced your back. He pushed your shirt up to get to your bare back, his finger beginning to glide along your skin. You laughed as he drew a square, “It has to be more complicated than that, Jay!”
“As complicated as your first one?” He joked back.
“It was a sun. It wasn’t that complicated.”
He pauses for a moment, “It was a sun?”
You laugh, “Yes. Now make a drawing.”
He poked your side a little first before continuing. You almost chided him for drawing another square, but he built off of it. A sharp arch above it, with smaller, indistinct details below the arch, in the middle of where he drew the square.
His hand rested on your waist as he waited for you to think and guess, “A house?”
He leaned in and kissed your shoulder, “You got it, darling.”
You giggled and tried to flip back over again, but got blocked by his chest.
“No more,” he hummed. He nestled his head into your shoulder, pulling you back into his chest, spooning you despite the warmth in the room. “Sleep time.”
You huffed, though unbothered by his cuddles, “You didn’t like my game?”
You feel his smile against your neck, “Loved it. I’m just tired, baby.”
His right hand rests against your sternum. You pick it up, kissing his knuckles, before intertwining your fingers together and placing his hand back down, “Goodnight, again, Jay.”
He smiled, “G’night again.”
…
“Jay it’s too hot to cuddle.”
“Yeah, no, I’m remembering that now.”
Side note: did any of you play this game as a kid? It never had a name, but my mom and i would do it all the time. It was just a question of “can i draw on your back?” Lemme know!

Summary: Quinn and you visit his family for Christmas. Quinn and you end up doing it in his childhood bedroom.
______
This year you and Quinn were going to spend Christmas with his family. Last year the both of you spent it with your family. Even though you and Quinn have been together for two years now you haven’t really spent much time with his side of the family. You never really understood why. Whenever he went to go spend time with his family there was always stuff stopping you form going. College was a big reason why.
But you graduated this summer so now school isn’t in the way, and you don’t start your job till the beginning of January, Quinn to this opportunity to bring you home with him for Christmas this year. You obviously said yes. Excited to finally spend more than one day with his family.
But now as you pack your bag you grew more anxious. Your foot taps fast against the carpet. You mumble to yourself about what else you should be packing when a pair of arms wrap around your waist. You let out a gasp.
“Quinn!” you turn so you’re now facing him.
“I could hear you tapping your foot all the way in the living room. Why are you nervous? You have meet them many times and they love you.” both of his hands rest on your lower back keeping you pressed against his body.
“This is the first time that I’m spending more than a day with your family. What if they change their minds and end up hating me.” You pout. He kisses the top of your head.
“Now why would that happen?” you shrug your shoulders then rest your head on his chest.
“I need to finish packing.” You mumble.
“You should pack that one dress that I like.” He smiles down at you. his hands squeeze your butt making you gasp and smack him on his chest.
“Get out so I can pack in peace.” you try to push yourself out of his grip. But he doesn’t let up.
“How about I help you pack so I can pack all the things I think you should wear.” You laugh, shaking your head before responding.
“If you packed my bag the only thing that would be in there would be my lingerie. So no, but if you want to stay in the room feel free to sit on the bed and don’t distract me because I will forget something if you do.” You poke his chest as you talk.
“Yes ma’am.” He does a little salute before letting go of you to go sit on the bed.
By the time you finished packing it was almost dinner time. You and Quinn order take out form your favorite Greek place and spent the rest of the night watching tv. You both ended up falling asleep on the couch. You woke up the next morning to Quinn shaking you awake.
“Honey its almost time to go so we can get on the plane. I already put the bags in the car and laid out your clothes for today on the bed. You just need to get ready then we will be on our way.” His voice was soft as he talked to you. you sit up on the couch taking a minute for your eyes to adjust to the lights that were on in the apartment.
You look out the window to see that it’s still dark out. You let out a little huff before getting up off the couch. Whenever you have to wake up early for something Quinn is always gentle with you. he knows that you’re not a morning person, so he always does things to make your morning just a bit easier.
It didn’t take long for you to get ready, no more than fifteen minutes. the car ride was quick too. when you finally got onto the plane and settled into your seats you were asleep with your head resting on Quinn’s arm.
_
When you got to the house you were greeted by everyone. Luke and jack helped Quinn bring your bags to your room. Ellen grabbed your hand and brought you inside. She was talking your ear off and asking you a bunch of questions before Quinn made his way back to you.
“Mom, leave her alone.” Quinn huffed out as he wraps his arm around your waist pulling you into his side.
“Fine I have to finish making dinner anyway. Everyone be in the kitchen for six o’clock please. Now you guys go change and shower to get the planes germs off you.” Ellen gave you a soft smile before Quinn pulled you upstairs and into his childhood bedroom. Quinn basically pushes you into his room closing the door shut behind him.
“You and I are so having sex in here before we leave. That’s a promise.” You let out a little giggle at his serious tone. “Don't laugh at me. 16-year-old me would high five me for sleeping with such a hot girl in my room.” You giggle again.
_
You have been with the Hughes family for a few days now. Christmas passed and they all got you a present. The rest of the family is out grocery shopping. You said you were going to stay behind to pack up your bags because you have to leave in two days. Quinn said that he was going to stay behind to help you, no one batted an eye and let the two of you stay behind.
You were bent over the bed putting Quinn’s cloths into his suitcase right above yours. Quinn comes up behind you giving your ass a hard slap.
“Exactly how I wanted you. your ass looks so good in these leggings baby. Fuck I’m getting so hard just looking at you.” he’s now standing behind you his hands on your hips.
“Fuck. Baby, please can I fuck you. I need you so bad right now.” he grinds his hard cock into you as he kisses your shoulder.
You would be lying if you said you didn’t want him too. you grind against him, matching his movements. he moves you over so he can push the suitcases out of the way before he bends you over the bed.
He spreads your legs with his hands before getting down on his knees. He grabs the seam of your leggings and rips them. You let out a gasp. he moves your underwear to the side before he dives right in to eating you out. His tongue sliding in and out of you a few times before he moves his mouth to suck on your clit.
“Fuck Quinn. Don’t stop please. Need more, please.” He was quick to answer your request by sliding two fingers into you. you scream his name your hands gripping the sheets.
His other hand comes up to slap your ass. Quinn loves eating you out he could do it all day if you let him. but Quinn knew that you had limited time. He pumped his finger a few more times before completely standing up. you hear shuffling behind you but only for a second.
His cock now resting on your ass for a second before he lines his tip with your entrance slowly pushing in. he didn’t wait too long before he started pounding into you. you let out a moan. Reaching one of your hands behind you to grab on to him.
one of his hands rest on your hip as he thrusts into you his other hand now holding onto your wrist. he slows his thrust down a little so he can spread your legs wider.
“Give me your other hand. good girl.” you bring your other hand behind your back. his hand now wrapped around both of your wrists.
“Now you got to keep quiet for me. Do you think you can do that?” his thrust now picking up again. you nod your head in response not able to form any words. he gives you a little slap on the ass.
“Fuck. you like this don’t you? you liked being fucked knowing that my family can come home any minute. You like the idea of being caught don’t you baby? That why you always make me fuck you in the car after a game.” all you could do was let out little moans with every thrust. His words turning you on even more.
“You know you’re the first girl I have ever fucked in my room. Aah fuck. You’re squeezing my cock so tight baby, fuck.” He let go of your hands so he could grip your hips with both of his hands. He starts pulling your hips to match his thrusts. You could feel yourself getting closer to your release.
Your hands grip the sheets your knuckles turning white. You have to bite your tongue to keep from letting out a moan.
“Good girl. Fuck your doing so good baby. Cum for me, fuck.” You let out a moan. Quinn was quick to follow behind you. his movements stop as he cums inside you.
He grips your hair and pulls so your body is now up right. He turns your head so he can see your face. He kisses your lips.
“You did such a good job baby. Your always so good for me. How about we go and take a shower and ill help you get cleaned up.” you give him a lazy smile and nod your head.
-
Luckily for you guys’ Quinn had a bathroom that was connected to his room. You followed Quinn into the bathroom. He turned on the water and after a few minutes stuck his hand in to feel the temp of the water. When he took his hand out, he turned around to look at you, you were taking of your bra.
He pulled you closer to him by your waist, kissing you all over your face then moving down your neck. His lips stop between your tits before he grabs one of them and wraps his lips around your nipple. He flicks his tongue a few times before sucking. Your head fell back as your hands move to his hair.
Your grip on his hair was tight. Pulling hard on it as he continues to suck on your nipple. He lets out a grunt with every harsh tug on his hair.
“Quinn, please.” You breath out.
You don’t know exactly what you were asking him to do but you needed him again so bad. he took his lips off you before pulling down your pants and then taking off his cloths.
You both make your way into the shower. the nice warm water hitting your skin. you put your hair under the water before reaching over to your shampoo putting some in your hand before rubbing it into your hair.
You and Quinn took the time to just enjoy the quiet but all your brain could think about is repaying the favor. You grab the soap and lather it up on the scrubby, rubbing it up and down Quinn’s back. you bring both your arms around the front of his body bringing both your hands to his chest. You scrub his chest, brining your other hand down to his cock. you wrap your hand around the base of his cock stroking it slowly, your thumb swiping over the tip. His hand wraps around yours, moving your hand faster.
“Fuck, yes. God your hand feels so good. I love when you jerk me off. I love your hands on me baby.” You squeeze his cock; he lets out a hiss.
“Fuck, baby, don’t tease me. You know just how to get me off, you always have.” You let out a giggle. You focus on his tip for a second before going back to stroking him.
“Yes, oh god yes. I’m going to cum.” He grunts his hands move to the wall in front of him so he can support his weight as he cums.
He turns to face you, smiling at you. he grabs your face and kisses you hard.
“I love you so much!” he kisses you again. before pulling you under the water with him letting the water run down your face.

Lie to me
Pairing : Dean Winchester X reader
Word count : 4k
Warnings : angst, hurt/no comfort, Major character death, depressing thoughts, canon violence.
I DO NOT GIVE PERMISSION TO COPY MY WORK, TRANSLATE IT OR POST IT TO ANY OTHER PLATFORM. REBLOGS ARE APPRECIATED.
Dean was tossing and turning in his bed in the motel room. Sam was soundly asleep on the other bed. The two of them had just burn the bones of an old lady who was haunting her old house after she'd committed suicide. Dean was tired but he couldn't fall asleep. He quietly left the room and made his way towards Baby. He knew he shouldn't disturb Y/n this late but he knew she barely slept herself. It was two in the morning and he texted her asking if she's awake and she called him instead of answering.
"Why aren't you asleep?" Was the first thing she asked as he picked up.
"I could ask you the same thing." He retorted settling in the front seat of the Impala.
"I'm not the one who came from a hunt." She replied and he chuckled. He loved how she reprimanded him for the exact same thing she does herself. He knew she wouldn't let it go unless he turned the conversation around, so he filled her in all about the hunt and how she should've joined them for this one.
"It was literally just a ghost. Salt and burn. It didn't even need two people and you're saying I should've came along too." She replied sassily. They talked for a while when she suddenly asked, "why didn't you find someone to entertain you for the night?" Dean shrugged even though she couldn't see him.
"Why would I need to find someone else when I could easily call my sweetheart." He replied with a smirk and she could hear it in his voice. This was something she hated about Dean. He constantly flirted with her and called her nicknames but never went further. She knew she had a small crush on him, who wouldn't. But he never showed any interest in her other than his incessant flirting. He hooked up with women left and right. He never even bothered to react when she was approached by guys or even if she left with one, once in a blue moon. She wasn't the type to sleep around but a girl has here needs, and finding a partner in this type of lifestyle can be a hassle. She knew Dean wouldn't turn her down if she made a move but she didn't want to be just another woman in Dean Winchester's bed so she never acted on her feelings. But his behaviour made it harder for her to keep her feelings at bay.
"I think you should've." She replied try to keep the bitterness out of her tone but it didn't go unnoticed by Dean.
"Why should I have?" He questioned curiously. He couldn't quite understand why she became so dismissive when the two were having a great conversation.
"I'm going to sleep, Dean. You should too." She faked a yawn and he could tell something was off. She was his best friend and he could tell she was hiding something. But at the same time he knew she wouldn't tell him no matter how hard he tried to get it out of her. That's just how she was. He let out a sigh and said goodbye hanging up. Dean wondered what made her cut the call short. He recalled the whole conversation hoping he could remember if he said something to upset her. But nothing came to mind. He let out another sigh before getting out the car and going back to his motel room.
Y/n dropped onto the mattress of the motel room she was staying at. She herself had finished a salt and burn two days ago in a town in Michigan, but she didn't leave because she liked this place. The motel room wasn't as bad as the others she'd been to and the people were nice. And there were no other hunts that she knew of. She didn't like the research work to find hunts so she mostly relied on Bobby to send cases her way. Or any other hunter who needed backup.
She laid on her back and stared up at the ceiling. She wasn't aware of the supernatural and she lived a normal life. John Winchester once saved her from a Wendigo in the woods and she'd been grateful to him. When she had another run in with a supernatural creature, a ghost in her apartment, she called John but he didn't answer and she found his son's number from his voicemail. And that's how she met Dean. He was a flirt, she gathered the minute he walked inside her apartment and confirmed it when she cheekily asked her if she wanted to thank him some other way. She remembered the way she rolled her eyes at him and told him off and how he chuckled, sending a wink her way, telling her to call him if she changed her mind. But she also remembers how she found him extremely attractive.
Knowing about the supernatural and running into trouble twice she decided to learn to defend herself. She called Dean and asked if he could teach her. Luckily for her, he agreed saying how he didn't have anything better to do since his brother went to college and his father left him on his own. She learnt stuff quickly and after a hunt with Dean, she knew she wanted to help save people for the rest of her life. He introduced her to Bobby and Sam, when he came back and the rest was history.
Her phone rang and she groaned not wanting to deal with anyone at the moment. Calls with Dean often mess with her and she had a hard time convincing herself that it's just how he is and it's nothing serious. She looked at the caller ID and furrowed her brows.
"Do you ever check the time before calling?." She spoke into her phone.
"Good morning your highness, my apologies. Did you have your tea yet?" Bobby sassed from the other side of the phone and she rolled her eyes.
"I drink coffee. Keep up old man." The man grunted in response and she chuckled. He told her he found a case and its a huge vampire nest, with probably fifteen vampires and they're causing trouble in Rockford, Illinois. "Are you really so tired of me that you're sending me there by myself?" She joked making Bobby roll his eyes to the back of his head.
"I've called Sam and Dean too. They'll meet you there." He replied. She affirmed that she heard him. Saying their goodbyes she hung the phone.
Just what I need.
She met up with the Winchesters the next day. Dean tried to get her to talk to him but she brushed him off, not bothering with him unless it was hunt related. Sam furrowed his brows at the interaction clearly baffled as she's never dismissed Dean before. The hunt went pretty well and Y/n finally let loose. She went to her friendly self as they hit the nearest bar for celebratory drinks. Her mood instantly dampened when a pretty brunette walked up to Dean and he flashed her his ever so charming smile. Y/n frowned as Dean let the woman whisk him away for the night. She'd expected him to stay but it was just wishful thinking. She knew he would never refuse a good time.
"Why don't you just tell him?" Sam quipped from beside her as she peeled at the label of her beer bottle, fingers picking at the edges absentmindedly. She sent him a glare but he didn't waver, and shot her a look.
"It's Dean. The chances of him cutting me off are far greater than him wanting anything real with me." She replied taking a swig of her drink.
"That's not..." Sam tried to defend his brother but then he stopped himself mid sentence. He knows Dean wouldn't want to risk getting close to anyone, even if it's Y/n.
Y/n patted Sam on his arm, reassuring him that she's fine and he doesn't have to make excuses for his brother. Surprisingly enough, Dean left the Impala to Sam so he left early and since she had her own car, she took her time going back. She arrived at the motel but she didn't want to go inside their room, not yet atleast. She noticed a swing set right outside the motel which was unlikely for places like these. She made her way to the swings and sat down on one. Self deprecating thoughts thoughts swarmed inside her head as she looked up at the sky.
It's her own fault she fell for the hunter anyways. She should've known she wasn't someone he'd want to be with. She's not the ideal woman one would want. At least not someone like Dean would want. She doesn't have the perfect curvy figure or any specific features that make her stand out. Her hair's unkept most of the time and she's got scars all over her body. She's not desirable.
She didn't know how much time had passed but she could see the darkness fade around her. The sun wasn't up yet it wasn't dark anymore. With a loud sigh she continued to stare ahead to figure out a way she could get out of this mess without a heartbreak. She heard the familiar thump of boots against the pavement and looked up to see Dean walking towards the motel. He had his jacket in his hand and he was whistling as he walked.
At least someone had a good night.
Dean noticed a figure perched on a swing and recognised the silhouette. With hurried steps he approached her and took a seat beside her on the swing. She turned to look at him and immediately regretted seeing the red and purple hickies that lingered on his neck.
"What're you doing out here?" Dean asked staring at her face.
"Just thinking. Did you have a good night?" Y/n replied, she wondered if she's some sort a masochist who finds pleasure in inflicting pain upon oneself.
"Yeah it was good. What're you thinking about?" Dean was curious, she'd been acting distant and he wanted to know why. She's even sitting out here in the early hours of the day when she should've been sleeping. "You're distant." He added like a child who lost his toy. He missed his best friend if he was being honest.
"Really Dean? I wasn't the who one left my friends for sex." She didn't intend to snap but his words struck a nerve and she felt the need to defend herself.
"You say as if you've never done that before!" Dean replied sharply. "Something is going on with you that you're clearly not telling me." He was getting frustrated with her behaviour and he needed to know.
"Well maybe I don't like watching you go off with women all the time." She answered harshly and he flinched at her tone. He could only managed to choke out a 'What?' not getting what she meant. She stared ahead keeping quiet.
"What's the supposed to mean?" Dean asked again.
"You're really gonna make me say it, won't you?" She scoffed and he shook his head in confusion. "I like you Dean, more than a friend." She said quietly, hoping he didn't hear her but the silence enveloping them made it left no doubt that he heard her loud and clear. She had prepared herself for his rejection but she didn't think his silence would hurt this bad.
"Y/n I, I've never-..." he stuttered not knowing how to get his point through without breaking her heart. "I've always thought of you as my best friend, is all." She looked down at her lap, nodding her head in understanding. There we no tears however her heart was being ripped apart inside.
"Why'd you always make me feel special? Constant flirt with me and gave me those nicknames. Why'd you act like you cared?" Dean rubbed a hand over his head. "Why'd you lead me on?" Her voice was small and accusing.
"It wasn't an act. I do care about you. I didn't mean to. I thought..." he trailed off not wanting to hurt her any more than he already did.
"I get it." She cleared her throat. What else was she supposed to say or do? Throw a fit? The option she had was to accept the fact that he wouldn't love her ever.
"I do love you, Y/n/n. Just not the way you-" He started but she interrupted him.
"I said I get it, Dean." She nodded again. "I think we should go inside." She said standing up from her place and heading towards the room. Sam was fast asleep when she entered the room. She sat on the pullout couch when Dean entered the room and settled on the other bed. They would usually share the bed since they'd been best friends for years but now it all seemed too awkward. Even being in the same room as him was suffocating her.
After hours of tossing and turning Dean finally slipped into a deep slumber and Y/n took it as a chance to grab her stuff and slip out of the room, and their lives. For good.
When Sam woke up he noticed Y/n was gone. Her was not in the parking lot and her bag was gone too. He shook his brother awake notifying him of her departure. Dean knew she would want to have some time apart but he didn't expect her to leave without as much as a goodbye.
"Why'd did she leave without saying goodbye?" Sam wondered out loud and Dean looked at his feet. He knew the reason she left, he was the reason she left. He shouldn't have been so careless with his gestures that gave her the wrong idea. Sam recognised the look on his brother's face as guilt. "What did you do?" He asked and Dean looked up.
"What makes you think I did something?" Dean felt offended at his brother's accusation.
"Because it's written all over your face so fucking spill." Sam glared at his brother folding his arms across his chest.
"I just told her the truth." Sam raised his brow, gesturing him to continue. "She told me she liked me and I told her I don't feel the same. It's not my fault she couldn't be an adult about it." Dean snapped, his anger flaring up as he felt unfairly portrayed as the villain.
"You told you her you don't reciprocate her feelings?" Sam asked incredulously. "Dean are you insanse why would you say that?"
"Because that's the truth!! I told her I loved her as a friend, not in the way she wants me to." Dean snapped back. Sam shook his head at his brother's stupidity. Sam knew deep down Dean loved Y/n more than anyone. She was his best friend but most of she was that one person had made a special place in his brother's heart.
Sam didn't say anything instead he went out to call Y/n. She didn't any of his calls and it went straight to voicemail. She didn't want to talk to anyone. All she wants is to deal with her heartbreak once and for all. And then she'll go back to her friends, to Dean. And they can pretend it never happened.
Four months passed without any contact with the boys and Y/n was nowhere near getting over Dean. She'd assumed hearing him reject her would get her the closure she needed to get over her crush it seemed to be more than a crush. Over the four months Sam continued to call her and leave messages for her and she would always just send him a little text telling him alive. Nothing other than that. He was atleast greatful that was alive.
Y/n had found a ghoul case in Ohio and as much as she hated those awful creatures she decided to go. The ghoul had been digging up graves to feed on the dead, so she made her way to the cemetery, a molotov cocktail and lighter safely tucked in her jacket and a machete in case something goes southways.
With a flashlight tightly gripped in her hand she entered the cemetery. It was late and she could she a silhouette a few feet away from where she stood. It was hunched over something and she could tell he was feeding off of a dead body. She grimaced as she neared the creature. The crunch of leaves beneath her boot resounded in the otherwise quiet cemetery making the ghoul turn to look at her. The ghoul hissed at her and jumped at her before she could react. With a swift motion she dodged it and moved aside kicking it away. The creature seem to grow angry and lurched towards her, it managed to hold her arm and bit her forearm. She screamed in agony as it’s sharp teeth dug into her flesh. She took a deep breath before she pushed at his chest, the ghoul taking it as an opening to dig its claw in the side and rip a patch of flesh from her body. Y/n headbutted it and the ghoul went barreling straight into a tombstone. She fell to the ground and quickly took out the Molotov cocktail and lit it up before throwing it at it, burning it alive.
Now that the ghoul was taken care of she moved backwards until her back hit one of the tombstones and cradled her side. She was bleeding profusely and she knew she couldn’t make it out of here on her own. She could call for help but she wasn’t sure who to call. She was too prideful to call the boys. She dug out her phone from her jacket and called Bobby. He grumbled as he answered the call.
“This better be good.” The old man said over the phone. Y/n let out a chuckle at his words.
“Heya Bobby. Ran into a bit of trouble.” She said sheepishly.
“What happened? Are you hurt?”
“Ghoul ripped my side if that’s your definition of trouble. And he bit my arm.” She scoffed followed by a chuckled.
“Where are you damnit?”
“Ohio.” She breathed out feeling herself getting tired. Bobby cursed under his breath. Ohio was a good hundred miles away. It would take him hours to reach her.
"Ohio? Damn, y/n, that’s a long way. How you even end up all the way out there?" She didn’t answer, instead she coughed, spitting the blood beside her. Bobby sighed knowing he couldn’t get to her in time. “Hey keep talking. Describe your surroundings to me.” He put her on speaker as he called Sam from his other phone. He didn’t answer so he left him a voicemail.
“Its a dark cemetery, trees are pretty though.” He heard her voice becoming quiet. “Not bad for a last view huh?” She chuckled and Bobby took in a sharp breath. He really wanted to reprimand her not to say things like that but at this point he wasn’t even sure if she’d make it. “Hey, can I call you back?” She asked randomly. The old man frowned asking her why but she didn’t respond. Instead she hung up on him. With her vision blurred she managed to call Dean. The phone rang for a few seconds and to her surprise he answered.
“Y/n?”
“Dean.” She mumbled. “I didn’t wake you up did I?” breathing was shallow and irregular, each breath coming in ragged gasps as if the air itself was slipping away.
“Y/n? What’s wrong? You sound-” She interrupted him.
“You have pretty eyes. They’d make good for a last view.” She chuckled. Dean's heart skipped a beat at her words. There was something in your tone, something that made his stomach twist uncomfortably.
“What are you talking about? What do you mean, ‘last view’?" Dean clenched his jaw, a sense of dread building in his gut. Something was wrong, very wrong. He quickly woke Sam and filled him in on the situation.
“I’m sorry I walked out.” She coughed up more blood and sputtered, choking on it. “I’m sorry for ruining….our friendship.” Dean shook his head already making his way towards his car. Sam following behind.
“Where are you? What happened?” Dean was now getting anxious. She sounded so fragile, as if she was on the verge of her end. God—he didn’t even want to think about it.
“Ohio Cemetery, Ghoul.” She heard him open his car door and slamming it shut. “I just wanted to….. I love you Dean. Tell Sam I’m sorry.” She could feel her tears builidng up as hot white pain surged through her body.
“No…no no, don’t you dare die on me.” He growled stepping on the gas. “I’m coming to get you.” She smiled wistfully, knowing it’s futile. She’s not going to make it.
“Hey Dean.” Her breaths came in faint, uneven whispers, barely rising above the sound of the surrounding silence. “Do me a favour?” Tears sprung to Dean’s eyes and he nodded his head even though she couldn’t see him.
“Anything. Just please hold on. I’m on my way.” He begged, his heart felt like it was being crushed under a weight of helplessness.
“Lie to me.” She whispered and Dean’s foot stepped on the brakes making the Impala swerve a bit. Sam looked at his brother as the car came to a halt. “Lie to me once please.” Dean knew what she meant, he knew what she wanted him to say. But he couldn’t lie to her. Not when she’s taking her last breath. And because it wouldn’t be a lie.
“I can’t.” He whispered and she sucked in a sharp breath. “I can’t lie to you. But I can tell you I love you. It’s the truth.” Tears streamed down his face, mingling with the overwhelming sense of grief, sorrow and regret. “I love you so much it hurts.” He cried. Sam patted his brother on the back, unable to hold onto his own tears.
“You sound pretty convincing.” Y/n chuckled feeling the strength in her limbs drain with every passing moment, and her once-strong grip had become weak and feeble.
“It’s the truth, I just didn’t want you to be in danger because of me. I wanted to protect you. I pushed you away. When all I wanted was to hold you close to me. I do fucking love you.” Dean said angrily. Not angry at her but with himself for being a fool, for letting her go. For not being there to protect her.
“It’s okay.” She whispered. The atmosphere around her felt heavy and somber, marking the approach of an inevitable end. “I love you.” She felt the phone slip from her grasp as she took in her final breath. The phone fell to ground with a thud, and Dean panicked.
Dean’s desperate pleas through the phone fell into a haunting void, the line now carrying only the echoes of his sorrow. The sudden, silence left a heavy, unspoken grief that seemed to linger, a stark reminder of a love that was cut short by the cruel hand of fate.
“Y/n? Sweetheart? C’mon please talk to me.” He begged through the phone but all he got was silence from the other end. “Baby please.” Dean was overwhelmed by a crushing sense of guilt, his chest tightening with every recollection of what had transpired. He was the reason it ended like it, she left him twice, all because of his own cowardice. He was scared to love her and she left him forever. His every thought was consumed by the desire to undo the harm he believed he had caused. But it was too late now and he’s left behind to bare the consequences of his own actions.

♡ ♡ ♡ ♡
Nothing would ever beat sleeping in your own bed. Nothing could beat the comfort that the fresh scent of your sheets brought you, or the little light you always left on the entire night since you were a child.
Being away for a case meant you had to learn to sleep without those comforts. And you were really good at it; but the thing you could not get yourself to adjust to, were the unfamiliar sounds of a new place. Sometimes it was the sound of a passing car, and others some annoyingly loud neighbor.
That night it was the sound of a thunderstorm. And the hotel you and the team were staying at was definitely not soundproof enough to let you sleep in peace.
You had been tossing and turning for more than an hour, unable to calm your heart down. It wasn’t just the thunders that scared you; the rain was pouring like crazy and the wind was almost whistling. Suddenly you felt like a little kid again, afraid that the walls weren’t thick enough to protect you from the strength of that storm.
Taking a deep breath you closed your eyes and gave trying to fall asleep one last shot. But at the sound of another thunder, the face of a certain man appeared on your mind.
Hotch.
The truth was when you thought of “safe”, you thought of him: your boss who always had all the answers. Maybe it was his older age or his intimidating appearance but he made you feel like no matter what the problem was, he would fix it. Hotch always made it better.
Without thinking about it twice, you got out of bed and ran to his room. Well, you didn’t have to run much anyway, since his room was right across from yours. He’s definitely awake, you thought; always staying up most of the night to work on the case while everyone else rested.
That was why you were surprised to see Hotch wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants answering his knocking door. But the thing that made you the biggest impression was his disheveled appearance. Sleepy Hotch was the cutest thing you had ever laid eyes on.
“Y/N? Is everything alright?”
“Hotch,” you whispered, “I’m so sorry, I didn’t think you’d be asleep. I’m gonna go back to my room.”
You made a move to turn around but Aaron was faster and grabbed your elbow, gently pulling you into his room.
“Tell me what’s wrong,” he said closing the door once you were both inside.
“I was scared,” you admitted. Seeing him raising his eyebrow in question you continued. “Of the storm...”
You were relieved to see a little smirk on his face. You guessed he was relieved too after finding out that the thing that scared you wasn’t something actually dangerous.
“I’m sorry I woke you up. I don’t know why I’m here.”
“It’s okay.” As tough as Hotch looked, he was the most gentle man you had ever got to know. “You can always come to me about anything.”
And you had the audacity to wonder why he was your safe place?
“I know.”
He sat on the edge of his bed and patted at the spot right next to him, signaling you to take a seat; so you did. You were close enough that you could smell his after shave. It made you dizzy.
“Have you slept at all?” he asked.
“No. And I’m tired.” You let out a heavy sigh. “Maybe I should just pull an all nighter.”
“Nonsense.”
“But-”
“What if you sleep in my room? Will you still be scared if I’m right here?”
Your stomach was suddenly filled with butterflies.
“Wouldn’t that be inappropriate?” you asked.
“I won’t tell if you don’t” he said, and offered you his pinky finger to cross yours with.
You did it with a huge grin. "Deal."
“Come on now,” he said playfully while getting under the covers. Without any hesitation, you did the same, finding your place at the other side of his bed.
It was almost perfect; almost, because his arms weren’t around you, but instead were resting on his stomach.
“Hotch?”
“Hm?”
“Does the offer come with cuddles too?”
“You wanna cuddle with your boss, honey?” he smirked, and reached out his arm so you could curl up in his embrace.
“Yes, please,” you said, and the two of you ended up in each other’s arms. Being around Aaron had always felt safe, but being in his arms? That was a whole new level of safety and comfort.
“Good night, Hotch.”
And just like that the sound of his beating heart made it hard to focus on the rain hitting on his window.
His lips on your forehead and the words “Good night, sweetheart,” were the things that finally lulled you to sleep.

— where's my yeehaw hat? | Glastonbury Series
fourth and final part of this mini series that i forgot to post, but here it is... and hopefully this doesn't majorly flop.
pairings: leah williamson x reader!monkey
summary: the third day of the festival and monkey gets high.
chaos fc masterlist
“Rise and shine, Monkey!” You can hear the familiar voice of the blonde trying to wake you up by shaking you gently, “Wake up, sleepy head.”
Letting out a grumble in response, you refuse to even open your eyes, “No, I’m sleeping– Why’re you so loud?” You’re in no mood to want to wake up, but that might have something to do with the fact that you didn’t sleep too well the night before.
That was really your own fault though.
You had so many questions to ask and you just had to ask them then and there.
“Oh, really?” You hear the blonde laugh in amusement, “But I have so many important questions to ask you though, really important questions!”
“Wha… G’way Le, I’m tired!” You grumble, swatting her hand away from trying to continue to nudge you like she does.
“Yeah, but these questions are super important!” Leah tells you with a certain eagerness in her voice, “Didn’t you want to know whether lightning mcqueen needed car insurance or life insurance?” She wonders, teasing you.
Oh, she’s really playing you at your own game here? Damn it.
“Le, man. Leave me alone,” You grumble back with some hope of going back to sleep, “I’m trying to sleep here!” Keeping your eyes shut, you try your hardest to snooze again.
The blonde snickers to herself, “So was I when I was woken up this morning. It’s not so nice now, is it?” She jokes.
“G’way, it’s too early– I want more sleep!” Your patience is short and you can feel yourself ready to snap at any given minute.
You’re certainly not a morning person at all and you definitely do hate being woken up.
You’re a nightmare most mornings.
“You can’t sleep, there’s the whole day ahead of us. We have to get up and pack the tent away otherwise it’ll be too late to do it tonight,” Leah makes the point of telling you which leaves you confused about where you will be sleeping tonight, “Come on, sleepy head. Time to get up!”
“I’m still tired,” You murmur, prying one of your eyes open as you look at her, “Why’re we packing the tent away? Where will we stay tonight?” You ask, confused.
“At a hotel,” The blonde answers as she feigns her sympathy for your exhausted state, “Oh, really? I wonder why that is then, huh?” She wonders.
“I’m tired,” You repeat in a low voice.
Leah exhales a sigh and shakes her head, “Please don’t tell me you stayed awake all night.”
“I didn’t stay awake all night,” You mumble as you slowly sit up and let out a yawn.
“Really?” Leah questions, not believing your word.
Shrugging your shoulders, you crack your neck and yawn once again, “I fell asleep at some point, but I don’t remember when. Probably like, er 5 I guess.”
“I wish you wouldn’t do that,” Leah scolds as she winces faintly when she hears the noise of your neck cracking, “Fantastic, I guess I’m dealing with a grumpy Monkey today then– Come on, get up. We’re going to make the most of the day!”
“Hi girls!” Grace is the first one to spot you where it had been arranged to meet up with them.
“Morning,” Leah waves to her friend, checking behind her to make sure you are keeping up and aren’t dawdling about.
Like you really had much choice about that.
Even though you did try and fall asleep on the floor after you took the tent down, the blonde still didn’t let you unfortunately but you can’t understand why.
All you want to do now is sleep and you can’t help always being so tired though.
“Hello!” Holly smiles and greets her friends.
“Who’s ready for the last day of the festival?” Josie questions in a cheerful voice.
“Let’s do it!” Grace shouts aloud.
“Urgh. Why’re you all so loud?” You grumble in complaint and scowl at them, “Shut up!”
“Don’t be rude, Monkey!” Leah chides, giving you that all too familiar look you have seen so many times.
“But they are being loud and I’m tired,” You whine in protest, wanting nothing more than to collapse and sleep on the floor right here where you are.
It looks like a somewhat comfy spot.
“Oh I can see that somebody isn’t in a good mood today,” Holly jokes, trying to reach out and ruffle your hair.
Growling at the older blonde, you dodge her wandering hand from your hair and shuffle closer to Leah, “No shit Sherlock.”
“Monkey, stop it,” Leah warns you, continuing to give you a firm look, “Someone didn’t sleep and decided to stay up and ask me daft questions instead.” She explains to the rest of the girls.
“I’m so tired, I want more sleep!” You whine in response, you’re not a huge fan of this walking malarkey that you’re being forced to do.
The floor seems comfy right here to take a nap.
“So, I guess you had fun trying to wake her up this morning then?” Grace jokes.
“Well it wasn’t the easiest Monkey, get up off the floor!” Leah begins to explain as she spots you lying down on the floor in the midst of walking through to the first stage where you are to watch an acoustic performance.
“I’m tired,” You murmur in disagreement.
The blonde clicks her tongue in disapproval, “Get up, you’re literally in the middle of a field.”
“I’m gonna take a nap right here,” You mumble before you begin to close your eyes.
“Monkey, no,” Leah inwardly groans as she pinches the bridge of her nose, “Get up!”
“I take a nap right here,” Repeating the words, you keep your eyes shut in the hopes that you might drift off to sleep again.
You can hear the rest of the girls laugh in amusement.
“Oh my God, I literally feel like I’m having deja vu here,” Leah speaks aloud, no doubt having that usual frown on her face, “Get up now!”
“Seems like you might have your hands full today here, Le, eh?” Holly comments, looking between you where you're lying on the floor curled up and the blonde who looks on the verge of a breakdown.
“Monkey, get up from the floor! This is ridiculous right now– You can’t sleep here!” Leah shouts in frustration, very much aware of attracting attention from people looking over at you as she kneels beside you and shakes you, “Get up, now!”
“Nooo- Leave me be, Malfoy,” Swatting her hand away from shaking you, you still keep your eyes shut with a hope that you can still sleep, “I’m tired!” You add.
“Malfoy?” Josie questions, stifling her laughter.
Grace laughs in amusement, “Is that because of the hair cut?” She asks.
“It’s the nickname that Monkey gave her,” Holly chimes in as she grins at her cousin.
“Just wonderful,” Leah huffs and shakes her head, “Monkey, get up! You can’t just lie down here on the floor because you’re tired, it serves you right that you should have gone to sleep at a decent enough time!”
“Mean Malfoy,” You murmur while keeping your eyes shut still much to the blonde’s annoyance, “I’m tired! Why couldn’t we just leave the tent up and I could sleep in there instead? Or even in the car?” You ask.
“And miss out on all the fun today?” Holly teases you.
“I’m not telling you again,” Leah is starting to lose her patience with you and your need to lie on the floor and sleep, “Get up off the floor!”
“Nuh uh, I want to sleep!” There’s so much noise around, you wish the blonde would kindly leave you alone to nap in peace because right now, you’re unbelievably tired.
“I’m not letting you– You know what, fine!” Leah throws her arm up in the air, having very much given up on the gentle approach of trying to get you up off the floor before she reaches down and lifts you off the floor to stand up, “You’re not sleeping here, I’m done arguing with you about it.”
“Why? I just want to sleep!” Whining in protest, you can’t help but throw your head back, “You’re being mean and not letting me sleep!””
Leah exhales a sigh and shakes her head, “You can sleep on the floor, but not here. First you’re going to walk over to the stage where we’re going to watch the next performance and you can lay down there,” She tells you, “I’m not leaving you here, end of story.”
So with these words in mind, you do begrudgingly walk across the rest of the field over to the stage without any further protest.
“We're here, finally! I’m taking a nap, right here!” You cheer aloud, quite happy enough to make yourself a bed comfortable with jackets and bags to plonk yourself down on the floor.
“You’re not really going to sleep there… Wait, is she asleep already?” Holly is taken by complete surprise that you have indeed managed to curl and fall asleep on the floor in the middle of the girls.
“No way,” Grace looks shocked.
Josie laughs in amusement, “Seriously?”
“Monkey can sleep anywhere as long as she’s comfy,” Leah murmurs, shaking her head fondly as she slips her own jacket off and crouching down to lay it on top of you to stop you getting too cold.
“Even in the middle of a field?” Holly questions, bewildered at your actions.
Leah hums in confirmation as she stands up, “Yeah even here apparently.”
“I seriously cannot believe she’s managed to fall asleep in the middle of a field with this many people around,” Holly murmurs in amusement.
“I can’t believe she’s still out for the count,” Grace is left dumbfounded by the fact your still sound asleep in the middle of a packed out festival, “How on earth can she be comfortable like that?” She questions.
Leah shrugs her shoulders and takes a sip of her diet coke in her hands, “I guess she must be so tired that she will crash wherever she can.”
“Is she not sleeping well again?” Holly asks as she frowns.
“I don’t think so, but even if she’s having trouble, she won’t talk about it,” Leah admits, her concern is evident for you that you are once again not sleeping well, but despite how much she tries to get you to open up and talk to her about it like you usually would, you’re more quiet and reserved.
The blonde is glad in some ways that the festival has brought out your joy once again, even if it’s just to overshadow your low mood.
“That sounds like Monkey,” Holly murmurs, feeling sympathy for you.
Of course she isn’t as well known about your past, but being introduced to the family, she’s gotten to know you better and can’t help but feel concerned regardless.
You start to stir and wake up now feeling hungrier, “I’m hungry. Can we get pizza?”
The nap on the floor definitely did help you out with that situation.
“That’s all you can think about now?” Leah lets out a laugh and shakes her head, “Good nap?” She teases you, lightly.
“Told you I was tired and I wanted to nap,” You stifle a yawn as you try and wake yourself up more, “I slept and now I’m hungry again, so… Can we?”
“And yet you really did fall asleep in the middle of a festival,” Holly chimes in, amusedly.
Shrugging your shoulders, you look at them, “Why’d you all seem so surprised? I’m comfy, I don’t care where I sleep!” You tell them.
“See? I told you girls,” Leah waves her hand as a gesture to prove her point.
“Yeah… I think we realise that now,” Grace murmurs, speaking on behalf of them all.
“I suppose that we can look for some food if you want too,” Leah agrees with your need to eat again, “We’ll go and have a look round now while we have time.”
Groaning in disagreement, you’re not keen to wait around for them, “Ah man come on, I don’t need any babysitters– Can’t I go look around on my own? Nothing will happen. I’ll be totally fine!” You insist.
What’s the worst that can happen?
Leah frowns and bites her bottom lip anxiously, “I’m not sure I like the idea of you wandering around here by yourself,” She admits before she pauses, “There’s a large crowd but we’ll go together instead.”
“Urgh, seriously?!” You huff in frustration and throw your head back in annoyance, “You guys take forever to walk though!”
“Is she telling us that we’re old?” Josie asks, offended.
Grace hums in agreement, “I think so.”
“Hurry up, I’m hungry!” You whine in defiance, not patient enough to wait for them as you go to walk ahead.
“We’re coming now. Will you just be patient?” Leah mutters and shakes her head, trying to keep up with your pace so you don’t get lost.
“I don’t think patience is in Monkey’s vocabulary,” Holly jokes with her cousin.
The blonde exhales a sigh and pinches the bridge of her nose, “You’re telling me… Monkey, wait a minute– Don’t run off… Okay, she’s bolted again. Fantastic,” She mutters aloud.
Holly pats her cousin on the shoulder, “Relax, Le, she’ll come back around soon. Don’t worry, your frown will stick like that if you continue,” She jokes, noting the way Leah had her usual expression on her face, “She’ll come back soon.” She repeats.
“Yeah… Yeah, you’re right,” Leah nods in agreement, “She’s got no monkey, she’s bound to come back soon enough when she’s hungry.” She adds, trying to remain positive.
Of course that's where Leah was severely mistaken due to the lump sum of cash you had withdrawn from the machine.
“Pizza… Pizza, where are you? This was so much easier to find the other night!” You mumble to yourself, looking around for the place that you visited the other night on the way back to the tent.
Elsewhere in the middle of the festival, you wander through the crowd and bump into a tall man who’s dressed in colourful, tie-dyed clad clothes smoking weed.
“Whoa! You’re like, super tall and super colourful– How tall are you? Or maybe I’m just super short,” You yap on to this man like you’ve known him for a while.
The man can’t help but laugh at you, “I think you’re just short, kid.”
Shrugging your shoulders, you continue to whitter on to the man, “Huh, I guess so– I’m stupidly short for my height,” You pause, “Hi, I’m Monkey. Wanna be friends?”
“Monkey? That's some sort of nickname, huh?” The man looks at you amusedly as he continues to pop gummy bears in his mouth, “Hasn’t nobody ever told you that you shouldn’t talk to strangers?”
“Well, if we make friends, then we wouldn’t be strangers, no?” You ask, innocently as you grin at the man, “You’ve got gummy bears! They’re my favourite thing to eat, but I have to watch how much sugar I eat sometimes which sucks.”
The man chuckles at your continuous yapping on, “Oh yeah, well I’m all for sharing. Do you want some?” He offers, holding out the bag for you to try one.
With your eyes lighting up, you're eager to try one as you take a couple out of the open bag, “Thanks, I love gummy bears!” You tell him, excitedly and without any hesitation you pop them in your mouth as you think they are just regular sweets.
“Glad you like them,” The man grins, “Just take it easy, kid.” He adds, ruffling your hair.
You start to giggle uncontrollably as the effects of the edibles quickly take hold, before you plonk yourself on the ground beside the man without much care in the world.
“This is… So cool. I feel… I feel like I’m floating,” You continue to giggle.
The man grins and slumps down on the floor beside you, “Just enjoy the vibes, Monkey. Festivals like this are all about feeling free.” He tells you.
“Yeah… Free,” You murmur, staring blankly in front of you as you smile dopely, “I like that.”
You sit with the man and get lost listening to the acoustic music in front of the nearby stage that you had ended wandering towards without realisation while the full blown effects take over as the colours around you seem more vivid and the sounds become more intense.
“Are you with anyone here, kid?” The man wonders, curiously as he looks around, “I think people might be worried about where you are.” He notes.
You continue to sit there dazed, “Yeah… I’m with people, Malfoy’s no doubt looking for me,” You admit, feeling truly high as the sky, “But I’m having too much fun right now.”
“Well, just make sure you stay safe, alright?” The man asks you.
Grinning in agreement, you nod slowly before you tilt your head right and left in an even slower motion enjoying the feeling it had, “Yeah… I’m good.”
“Where could she have gone?” Leah is worried since you still haven’t returned back any time soon, “I knew she would end up getting lost in the crowd somewhere!”
“She might have got distracted,” Josie chimes in, noting the blonde’s concern.
“Or she might have just headed over to watch the performance,” Holly adds as she senses the worry in her cousins’ voice, “Don’t worry. We’ll find her!” She reassures her.
Continuing to look around with her worry becoming even more evident, Leah is literally kicking herself at the fact that she lost you.
“Wait, look over there!” Josie pauses and points with her index finger in the direction to where you’re sitting on the shoulders of the man’s that you made friends with earlier, laughing and throwing your arms up in the air without a single care in the world, “Is that… Is that Monkey?”
“Who the hells’ shoulders is she on?” Holly asks, confused as she looks over to you looking like you’re having a blast.
Leah’s eyes widen in shock horror, “Oh my God,” she speaks aloud before she’s rushing towards where you are, “Monkey! Get down from there right now!”
“Leeeeeaaaaaah!” You squeal in delight at seeing the blonde, who didn’t look all that impressed since she had her usual grumpy face that she always has when you're in trouble, “Hey! Check it out, I made a new friend!”
“Get down!” The defender repeats, firmly.
“But this is the best view ever!” You whine in protest, swinging your arms around in the air.
Leah continues to look at you furiously, “Get down, now!”
“Buzz kill,” You murmur and with the help from your newfound tall friend, he helps you off his shoulders as Leah grabs you by your arm, “Tall man, this is Malfoy! Malfoy, this is tall man… He’s super fun! You, however, are not.” You introduce the two of them.
“Er, hi… Bye,” Leah looks at the questionable man before she pulls you away, “What the hell, Monkey?” She looks at you, holding you steady as you sway side to side.
“I’m having fun!” You exclaim as you giggle uncontrollably.
“What is going on with you? You’re acting different,” Leah questions, wearily as she tries to figure out what is going on with you.
Giggling continuously, you’re hardly bothered by the blonde standing in front of you, “I’m… I’m fine, I told you I’m having fun!” You repeat.
“Leah, something isn’t right. Look at her eyes,” Holly notes, looking concerned.
Grace looks at you in concern, “Yeah, she looks really out of it.” She admits.
“Did someone give her something?” Josie questions, confused.
Leah’s eyes widen as she tries to keep a steady hold of you, “Monkey, did you eat something from that guy?” She asks, her voice changing to sound more concerned than angry.
“Tall man had sweets that he shared,” You tell her through a fit of giggles, “They were so good! Like those little gummy bears that I always eat!” You add.
“Gummy bears?” The blonde repeats with furrowed eyebrows before it dawns on her what you mean and her concern turns to anger, “Oh, God. No, those weren’t normal ones, Monkey!”
“I don’t know whatever they were, but they sure did taste delicious!” You dopily smile at the blonde, who looks at you furious, “Can I get some more of them?” You wonder, eagerly.
“Okay, alright, let’s not make a scene here,” Holly states, trying to calm Leah down, “I know you’re probably angry, Le, but we just need to get her somewhere safe and figure out what to do.” She makes the point, looking at you wearily.
“There’s a first aid tent nearby that we can her too,” Grace suggests, gesturing to the left of her.
“Nuh uh, I don’t need to go there– We’ve still gotta watch Shania Twain!” You gasp in horror as you look at them with wide eyes, “I didn’t miss it, did I?” You ask.
“Wha… No, you didn’t miss it,” Leah tells you before she snaps her head round in realisation, “We’re not going anywhere right now other than the first aid tent for you to be checked out!” She declares, sternly.
“Awh, shucks!” You huff in protest before you dragged in the direction of the tent where Leah all demands you’re checked over to make sure you’re fine, which no surprise, the medic in the tent reassures her that you will be and you just need to sip some water, “See? Can we go and watch Shania now? Pleaseeeee!”
“Fine,” Leah is reluctant to agree but there’s not much more that can be said, “But you’re sticking with me and I don’t want you running off again!”
“Let’s go girls!” You scream loudly with the high effects of the edible gummy bears in your system making you seem far more alert than previously as you stand with the older girls ready to watch Shania Twain perform on the Pyramid Stage.
“Glad to see you still have energy to keep going kid,” Grace jokes, trying to ruffle your hair but it’s difficult with the way you're swaying left and right.
“If that’s what we’re calling it now,” Leah mutters in disagreement, shaking her head as she’s not too fond of you being high right now but there’s not much she can do about it.
“Aye, yo! Where’s my yeehaw hat?” The realisation soon dawns on you that you currently don’t have your cowboy hat on you that you most definitely remembered to wear down so you’re confused as to where it could now be, “I need it for this!”
Holly looks at you puzzled, “Your… Your what hat?”
“My yeehaw hat! You know, the one I brought the other night!” You insist, trying to figure out where it is.
“Oh, she means her cowboy hat,” Leah realises as she plonks it on top of your head.
“My yeehaw hat!” You cry in joy and clutch a hold of it excitedly, “You found it!”
Josie looks at you in concern, “Should we be worried about her, or is this just her usual free spirit?” She questions Leah.
“Well, usually she’s menace and she’s pretty high right now both of them combined is somewhat concerning,” Leah can’t help but laugh at your current state, “I guess she’s going to be like this until it wears off.” She adds.
You giggle and adjust your glow in the dark glasses, “I’m like a disco ball! So many lights, so many colours! Can you see the sparkles?” Continuing to dance around in your cowboy hat and glow in the dark glasses, you’re having the best time right now.
“Uh… Not really,” Holly tries to keep up with your antics, “It’s great that you’re having fun though!”
“Yeehaw!” You exclaim aloud as you swing your arm around, “Man, I feel like a woman!” You scream the lyrics to the familiar song you have heard one too many times.
“She’s definitely in her own world,” Grace states as she chuckles.
“Hey Lord Farquaad, can I sit on your shoulders? I wanna get the best view!” You question hopefully as you grin playfully at the blonde, who looks ready to protest, “Pretty please?”
“Wha… Alright fine,” Leah begrudgingly agrees even after you had somewhat offended her before she hoist’s you up onto her shoulders, “Up you go, but hold on tight so you don’t fall!” She warns.
“You’re all set now, kid. You look the part!” Grace states, nudging you playfully.
“Don’t diss my fit cos’ you're all jealous, gurl, innit!” You joke, putting on an accent and grinning at the older girl with a newfound confidence in you now you’re somewhat high still.
“Oh well that is different,” Holly remarks, amused with your antics now, “You’re strange at times, kid,”
You faux a gasp and look down at her while clutching your hand on your heart dramatically, “I’m not strange, I’m unique. Right, Lord Farquaad?” Looking towards the blonde for confirmation.
“Will you stop calling me that,” The blonde grumbles in disagreement of the nickname that your best friend had so kindly given her and with your love of Shrek, of course you’re going to continue with it.
“Why not? It suits you sooo well!” You peer down and grin at the blonde dopily before you continue to swing your arms up in the air, “You’re a grumpy Lord Farquaad at the minute though! Cheer up!” Playfully continuing to pat her cheeks and smile at her, you enjoy your time on the blonde’s shoulders.
“Whoa, slow down, you,” Leah is quick to take a grip of your arm, already ahead of you running off, “First things first, let’s go and get you some water to help you, er, calm down.”
“But Le, we’re gonna miss it,” Huffing in disagreement, you begrudgingly are led over to a food truck to purchase a bottle of water.
“There’s no rush to go there, we’ve got plenty of time,” Leah remarks as she pushes the bottle of water into your hands, “Now drink up.”
Cracking open the bottle of water and taking a large gulp of it, “Okay, okay. I’ve drank now! See? Can we go and watch Avril Lavigne now, please?” You all but plead with her.
“Make sure you drink all of it,” Leah gestures to the bottle in her hand, “Then we will go and watch her. I just need you to calm down a bit first.” She tells you.
“How long will this… Energy last?” Holly looks at you wearily.
“I don’t know, but I’m hoping with a bit of water it might sober her up,” Leah winces, shaking her head as she encourages you to keep drinking, “Drink all of it, Monkey.” She reminds you.
You eagerly down the rest of the water in the bottle and toss it in a bin, “Alright! I’ve drunk it all now– Now can we go, pleeeeeeease?” You beg, bouncing on your toes.
“Fine,” Leah replies in agreement, once again making sure to take a grip out of your arm in case you do indeed try and run again, “No you don’t, I’m not letting you wander off again and make friends with a random stranger.” She states, sternly.
“But we’re gonna miss it!” You let out an exaggerated huff to show your impatience about having to wait.
“We’re not going to miss anything at all. Stop being impatient,” Leah remarks, trying to stay calm the best she can.
“Yeah we will,” You murmur, trying to tug your arm away from her and be able to dash off ahead of them, “Come on, hurry up. God, you’re all so slow!”
“We’re going as fast as we can,” Josie says, amusedly.
“Not quick enough,” You turn back round in a flash to look at the older girl and stick your tongue out at her, “Huuuuuuuuuurry up!”
“I think I preferred it when she was walking around like a zombie,” Holly chimes in.
“You and me both,” Leah murmurs in agreement with her cousin, “Monkey, calm down. There’s no rush to get there.” She adds as you try and pull her arm since she’s still got a tight hold on you to avoid running off.
“Time’s running out!” You whine impatiently, eager to run in the direction of the stage where you can’t watch Avril Lavigne perform live, “We need to hurry up. We’re going to miss the beginning of it cos’ you’re all so slow!” You grumble in annoyance.
“We’re almost there now,” Leah remarks, rolling her eyes as she walks over to the stage where your energy doesn’t let up, “See? We’re here, no need to have a meltdown over it.”
“I’m just excited to watch her!” You exclaim, trying to push your way forward to get a good view of the performance.
It’s not long before the music starts up and you continue to remain bouncing around energetically and singing your heart out to all of the songs in the set, “Why do you have to go and make things so complicated!” You scream out the lyrics to the song that you’ve grown up listening to, being able to watch her perform live is such a cool experience for you.
“Seems like she’s loving this even if she’s still a bit high,” Grace speaks to Leah, amusedly as she watches you enjoy yourself despite the high you’re still on.
Leah hums in agreement with her friend, “Yeah she’s having the time of her life so it seems, I’m glad about it.” Her words were nothing but the truth, knowing how tough you have been finding things recently so it’s nice to see you let your hair down even if you did end up high to no fault of anyone apart from your own.
You continue to dance around in joy, “I see the way you’re acting like you’re somebody else, gets me frustrated!” There’s not a single care in the world right now as you listen to the music, living the dream like you are.
“Woo, go monkey!” Holly encourages, grinning and clapping her hands.
Leah watches you dance around freely and can’t help but smile as she leans over to Holly, “At least this way she’s somewhat safe and having fun. I just need to keep a better eye on her and make sure she’s not wandering off with another random stranger again.” She tells her.
By the time that Burna Boy was set to perform, you were starting to feel the comedown from the edible gummy bears and your energetic behaviour is soon phasing out for you to become tired and grumpy once again, with having little energy to even want to walk about.
“You doing okay Monkey?” The concern in Leah’s voice is evident as she can see your dipping slowly as you're reluctant to even stand up without slouching against her.
“I’m… I’m tired,” You murmur, trying to fight and stay awake.
“Do you want to go back to the hotel instead?” Leah questions, wearily as she is more so concerned about your comedown hitting an ultimate low.
Shaking your head in disagreement, you continue to lean up against her so that you won’t fall down, “No, I still wanna watch this performance.”
“What’s going on?” Holly wonders, concerned.
“Monkey’s tired,” Leah explains briefly as she tries to keep a steady hand on you to stop you from collapsing from exhaustion.
“You do look pretty out of it,” Grace notes the tiredness on your face.
“I think she’s starting to come down from the edibles,” Leah explains, exhaling a sigh, “We’ll watch Burna Boy and then we need to think about going to the hotel. I think it’s all catching up to you now, isn’t it, eh?” She asks you, gently as she keeps a protective arm wrapped around you.
“M’ okay, I just want to sleep, Le,” You answer, trying to continue to fight the tiredness while standing up.
Leah frowns and nods in agreement, “You can soon enough, but in a proper bed. You can’t fall asleep here.”
“Why not? Floors comfy like before, innit,” You murmur without much care in the world considering you had managed to fall asleep so easily earlier on.
“You know she will again if she’s tired enough,” Holly chips in, amusedly.
Leah exhales a sigh, “I know, I just think it would be better to wait until we head back to the hotel before you fall asleep,” She admits, not to keen on the idea of you falling asleep on the floor again.
“I don’t care. I’m tired– I wanna sleep!” You slouch against the blonde weakly as your eyelids grow heavier as you listen to the music in the background.
“Alright, alright, there’s no need to get grumpy again,” The blonde mumbles, finding small humour in the situation, “Just hang in a little longer and we’ll go back.” She promises.
As much as you try to remain awake, it is starting to become incredibly difficult as you just want to lie down and sleep, so you do so much as when you find a spot on the floor, curling up in a ball and closing your eyes, being able to drift off to sleep.
“Le, I don’t think she couldn’t wait to sleep,” Holly jokes, gesturing to your sleeping body on the floor, “The kids completely out of it.” She adds.
“Wonderful,” Leah exhales a sigh as she looks down and finds you well and truly fast asleep curled up on the floor, “I guess she really couldn’t wait after all.”
“You’re going to have to carry her back to the car,” Josie points out.
“Oh Monkey,” Leah sighs and takes pity on your sleeping form before she kneels down and lifts your unconscious body into her arms, “Looks like we’re cutting the night short. I need to get her back to the hotel to sleep.”
“We’ll lead the way,” Holly states, carefully guiding her cousin through the crowd.
“Thanks Hol,” Leah speaks gratefully as she follows her cousin through the crowd of people with you protectively in her arms,
You continue to stay asleep with your head resting against her shoulder, you’re completely none the wiser about the journey back to the car park. Nor do you even realise being sat down in the backseat of the car and buckled in with the state of sleep that has taken over you.
Luckily enough Leah has managed to book the same hotel as the rest of the girls so they all climbed into the blonde's car, Holly deciding to sit in the back with you so she could make sure you are okay in the state that you’re in.
“We’ll be at the hotel soon enough kid,” The blonde murmurs to you even though you're completely out of it to even hear you, “We’ve got you, don’t worry. Just sleep.” She adds.
The next time you wake up, you don’t have any single recognition of where you were or how you got here, last you remember you were at the festival dancing to the music.
Now you’re here in a hotel room…
“Where… Where am I?” You ask, confused as you sit up in bed and look around the room trying to figure out when and how you got here.
Leah shoots up from the other bed and rushes to your side, “Ah, you’re awake! We’re at the hotel.”
“Hotel?” You question just as confused while you rub your eyes, “What happened to the festival?” You're trying to figure out what happened for you to end up here.
“You fell asleep,” Leah stifles her laughter and shakes her head, “You don’t remember? Apparently you couldn’t wait to sleep and crashed out on the floor… Again.” She teases you lightly.
“Oh,” You frown and try to remember what happened before that, “I don’t remember falling asleep though.”
“You were out for the count completely,” Leah remarks in amusement, “I had to carry you back to the car and even then you remained asleep until now.” She explains to you.
“Oh,” You repeat quietly as the events of the day start to dawn on you, “Wait! It’s late now– I can call Kyra! She’ll be awake now!” You exclaim in realisation at the time difference meaning your best friend would be awake now finally.
Leah shakes her head in disagreement, “No, no, sleep. It’s already been a long day– You’ve fallen asleep twice at the festival. I’m sure that you can speak to her tomorrow instead.”
“Seriously? Come on, Le!” You plead with the blonde.
“Fine,” Leah gives in your pleading as she rolls her eyes, “Don’t be on the phone for too long though! You need sleep and don’t think you’re getting away with being high either.” She adds.
“What does that mean?” You question, confused.
“It means that you’re most definitely grounded for this stunt that you pulled,” Leah states, firmly.
You huff in response and slump your shoulders, “Wha… I really did think they were just normal sweets though!”
“And you still shouldn’t be accepting sweets from random strangers,” Leah tells you while pursing her lips, “Now go on and phone Kyra like you’re so eager to do, tell the pest I said hi while you’re at it.” With that being said, you eagerly pull your phone out of your pocket and begin to FaceTime your best friend on the other side of the world and ramble on the phone to your best friend, happy enough to hear her voice finally.
It won’t be too long now until you see her at least, just another month or so, maybe?

Princess
John Winchester x daughter!reader
Requested by anonymous
Synopsis: a few one shots of you growing up with John as your father.
Warnings: mentions of blood, honestly it’s 80% fluff
John was used to fear. He woke up every morning with it, stronger each day it seemed, fear that the fate that had befallen his wife would come to his children. He was used to fear of the dark, and of what was truly hiding in it. He was certainly used to fearing for his life.
But this was a different kind of fear. When the woman that he had gone out with for a while about a year ago knocked on his door, and handed him the smallest baby he’d ever seen, all wrapped up in a pink blanket, John knew a new fear. When that same woman turned on her heel, got in her car, and drove away, that fear turned into panic.
“Hey!” He called out. “You can’t just-“
But the car was gone, and all his shouting had done was startle you awake. The bundle in his hands shifted, and you began to cry.
“Hey, shh,” he rocked you gently from side to side, his attention fully on you. “Don’t cry, princess. It’s going to be ok.”
…
“Hey princess,” John’s voice was thick with exhaustion as he slumped into the motel room. “Why aren’t you asleep?” He spotted his teenage sons splayed out on the two beds, dead asleep.
“I was,” six-year-old you yawned, tugging on John’s leg. He lifted you into his arms, and you continued. “But I waked up, and I wanted to wait for you.”
“Alright,” John collapsed onto the small couch, cradling your head in one hand as he attempted to lean back comfortably on his makeshift bed. “Well, it’s late, so try to get back to sleep alright?”
“Ok,” you yawned again, tucking your head under his chin while he covered the both of you in his jacket.
You were fast asleep within minutes, and your steady breathing and strong heartbeat comforted John as he closed his eyes, trying to erase the vivid memories of the terror he’d seen that night.
“Good night princess,” John gently kissed the top of your head, before finally falling into a deep sleep.
…
John had a tendency to react to fear with sternness. If one of his kids messed up on a hunt, it was just time to train that much harder. If a new monster was found, they stayed up all night, all week if they had to, finding out everything about it. Danger meant that he needed to prepare his kids, and to do that, sometimes he needed to shut off “dad” and turn on “drill sergeant”.
But not tonight. Tonight was…
Different.
“Me and Sammy are gonna stop at the bar for a bit, you going back to the motel?” Dean was eyeing you as he spoke to John.
“Yeah, I’m gonna take her home,” John mumbled.
“Give me a call if you need anything,” John could tell that Dean was stalling, wanting to remain with you but also sensing that John wanted time alone with you.
“I will,” John assured him. “She’s gonna be alright.”
John arrived at the motel with you a few awkwardly silent minutes later. He led you inside, a hand at the small of your back, and he could feel you trembling. Without a word, you stepped into the bathroom and turned on the sink water. John watched as you scrubbed at your hands, and you spend a few minutes in a futile attempt to clean the blood off of them.
Your scrubbing became more desperate, and John jumped up in alarm when you began to sob, scratching frantically at your arms and hands.
“Hey hey, stop that!” John took your hands in his.
“It-it won’t come off,” you sobbed, staring down at your blood-stained arms.
John stared down at you, opening his mouth to speak before closing it again. You looked so small, hunched in on yourself, and so fragile as you cried and rubbed at your arms.
He couldn’t believe he’d thought you were ready for your first hunt. He couldn’t believe he’d taken you out into the world of monsters and demons and expected you to kill them. If Dean had performed that badly on a hunt, John would’ve had him back in basic training in an instant—after severely chewing him out. If Sam had cowered from the werewolf the way you had, John would’ve made him stay up the whole night training, and doubled his shooting practice for the rest of the month.
But right here, right now, looking down at the crying girl in front of him…
He couldn’t. He couldn’t find it in him to scold you, or place a gun in your small hands, or demand that you pick up your machete and practice with it. He couldn’t find it in him to force you to defend yourself, because he never wanted you to have to.
He wanted to defend you. He wanted to protect you from every evil in the world, he didn’t want you to have to protect yourself.
“Commere princess,” John pulled you tightly into his arms, cradling your head like he’d done when you were a baby. “It’s ok. You’re ok.”
“I’m sorry,” you weren’t completely sobbing anymore, but the tears were still flowing, and he felt you take a shaky breath. “I know I screwed it all up.”
“Hey, hey,” John pulled back slightly, brushing your hair from your face and trying not to cringe when he noticed the dried blood plastering it in place. “You shouldn’t have been out there, you weren’t ready.” It was true that you had done abhorrently on the hunt, and John wasn’t going to lie and say otherwise; he hadn’t gone that soft. But he also wasn’t going to blame you, because he blamed himself for this.
“I just, I-I couldn’t remember what to do, and-and I got so scared-“ your breathing was becoming more labored once again, and John took hold of the back of your head, pushing you against him in an attempt to calm you down.
“Shh, princess you’re ok now. You’re safe now, nothing’s gonna happen. I don’t blame you, ok? I don’t. and I’m going to keep you safe, I promise.”
John knew that he was going to have to tighten up on your training if you were going to survive in this crazy world. But for tonight, he was going to turn off his “drill sergeant” and turn on “dad”, because when he saw his little princess almost get killed by a werewolf, he lost all ability to do anything but hold you tight, and shelter you from every danger that he hadn’t been able to shelter the rest of his family from.
…
“Dad?”
A heavy sigh escaped John’s lips as he set his beer bottle down with a clump.
“You should be in bed.”
“Did he really leave? For good?” One look into John’s despair-filled eyes was all the answer you needed.
“Princess, go to bed.”
You stepped up to where John was sitting, and wrapped your arms around his shoulders.
“Dad, I’m sorry.”
“I told you to go to bed,” John ordered, but his voice was soft and noncommittal, and you didn’t miss the way his arms came up to wrap around you in return.
Neither of you knew how long you stayed that way, unwilling to let go. But eventually, Dean came out and found you, and he managed to coerce you into letting go of your father and coming to bed, John following just behind.
The three of you slept fitfully that night, but despite that, there was a tiny comfort in knowing that there was some family that would never leave.
…
You hadn’t spoken a word in days. Dean knew why, but he was powerless to bring you out of your own head. He didn’t blame you for how you reacted; you out of all of them had seemed the closest to John, in your own way. No one could calm or comfort you like he could, and vice versa.
But John wasn’t around to comfort you anymore.
“You know,” Dean began softly as he sat down next to you on the motel bed. “Dad was the one who named you.” A smile played on Dean’s face as he reminisced. “When your mom dropped you off with him, she didn’t give him a name or anything. For nearly two weeks, dad carried you around with no idea what to call you. He mostly stuck with a nickname, until one day he stepped away from your cart in the store, and you started crying. Then this little old lady comes up and holds you, calms you down, and when dad tries to take you back she gets all suspicious. She didn’t think you were really dad’s, and so she says ‘well if she really is yours, what’s her name?’ And dad just panics, and he sees this name tag on a passing clerk and he just blurts out the name on it. He yells, ‘Y/N!’ And you just played along, looking right up at him with your big eyes and giggling and reaching for him. So the lady gives you back, and Y/N just kinda stuck.”
The room was silent for a long moment, Dean looking down at you while you mulled over his story.
“What was the nickname?” Your whisper surprised Dean.
“What?”
“You said he called me by a nickname for two weeks. What was the nickname?”
At this, a grin spread across Dean’s face.
“He always called you his princess.”

Oh chérie
Charles Leclerc x reader
Summary - When Y/n suffers with her insomnia, Charles will always be there to help her
Warning -
A/n - Sorry this is so short :)
-
3.23am It was the dead of night, everyone was asleep. No cars causing traffic, no tourist exploring the streets of Monte Carlo. The city is dead.
Apart from one person. Y/n was sat cradling a mug of tea whilst watching the silent streets down below. It had been almost three weeks since she had gotten a proper nights sleep.
She had been diagnosed with insomnia over two years ago, and she would get long periods of times where her sleep would be all over the place.
Charles knew of Y/n's insomnia and he tried his best to help her through it but stubbornly she kept her problems bottled. So that's why he was sound asleep and Y/n didn't wake him.
It was only when he reached out for her, that his subconcious mind clicked that she was no longer in bed. Stirring awake, it fully clicked in Charles' mind that Y/n was not there.
Slipping out from their plush covers, only dressed in some boxers, he made his way to the living room. That was where he saw the side lamp illuminating the living room and the tired girl beside it. "Oh chérie.."
He knew exactly what was going on, her insomnia. "Did I wake you? I'm sorry.." Her tired eyes look up at Charles' eye that held sympathy. He hated to see his Y/n so tired and he just wishes that she'd reach out to him for help.
"No no, how long have you been up?" It was always the first question, he'd try and figure out how much sleep she'd get.
"I think I woke up around quartre to three..been here ever since" In Charles' mind, he quickly calculated and coming to a conclusion that she had only slept for two and a half hours. Sympathy was clear on his face.
Nodding his head, he moved to pull her up from the couch. Picking up Y/n's now empty cup of tea from her hands and placing it beside the lamp.
Charles directed her back through to their shared bedroom. He pulled himself and Y/n down so that she could be laying on his chest. He reached for the tv remote, turning on the the tv directly opposite their bed.
If there was on thing that helped Y/n sleep was just listening to her playlist. It isn't like a playlist of peaceful music, no it's a playlist of regular music from taylor swift to childish gambino.
Pressing play on the music, he started to draw shapes along her back, just coaxing her into sleeping. "Thank you.." Charles could hear her quiet voice, she felt herself slowly falling into that deep slumber in his arms.
"It's okay, go to sleep now chérie...it's okay" They stayed like that for the rest of the night, Charles soon fell into that slumber as well.

So Whipped... (cop)Keegan x (nurse)reader
(not proof read but i wrote it on google docs so im kinda sure theres no spelling mistakes) (No military mentions--- "normal life" au???)
Summary: After a tiring day you get pulled over by a concerned cop
༻━━━━༺❀༻━━━━༺
Your shift just ended, you were exhausted and could barely keep your eyes open. It’d been a long day of work, patients in and out of the ER, it was always tiring but today had taken a toll on you.
You drove according to the speed limit and played your favorite songs to try and keep you awake. Your house was only another 15 minutes away but you were so close to falling asleep right then and there in the driver's seat. You almost wanted to pull over and take a nap before resuming the ride home.
After minutes of singing along to the music playing throughout the car's speakers you found yourself getting pulled over. Red and blue lights flashed behind you as you merged over to park. This was weird, you’d never actually gotten pulled over, what did you… oh.
A smile took over your face as you rolled down your window and your husband walked up. “Hi, officer” you said, despite your earlier exhaustion you were happy and eager to speak to the devastatingly handsome man in front of you.
“Hi,” a smirk grew on his face as he leaned his forearm against the car. “Have any idea why I pulled you over tonight?” Keegan asked, his blue eyes pierced yours. You shook your head as a response and kept smiling, it was impossible to stop whenever you were with him.
“No, officer, I don't” you turned the music down. “You look very tired, that's dangerous, you could fall asleep at the wheel” Keegan looked you up and down—at least what he could see of you through the window.
“I’m fine” you shrugged, you were definitely not fine but you didn't want him to worry. That didn’t work. “You’re not fine, ms.” he stated matter of factly as he gave you a pointed stare.
“Keegan… im fine, would love to go home” you insisted.
Keegan sighed, composing himself, you could tell he wanted to say something but he was technically still on the clock and had to—try to—be professional. “Ma’am how long have you been up?” he asked. You laughed in response and decided to play along again. “Since seven a.m.” you shrugged.
That wouldn't have been that weird but your sleeping habits had gotten worse and you were barely sleeping at night. You were always tossing and turning in bed and keegan had gotten kicked and slapped one too many times.
He stayed silent before leaning in even closer. “That’s not good sweetheart” he said more quietly—more softly. “I know,” you nodded softly, it was impossible to deny.
“Just, hurry and get home, and go to bed quick, don't wait up for me” he said, “I get off in an hour” You hummed and closed the gap, shutting him up for a few moments as your lips moved together.
Keegan smirked as he pulled back, “y’do this with every officer who pulls you over.”
“Only the handsome ones.”
Keegan’s cheeks are tinted crimson quickly when he hears you. “Shut up” he chuckles and stands up straight. “Get back to work” you smiled and peeked out of the window, looking back at the cruiser parked behind me.
“Get some sleep” he smiled.’
“Love you”
“I love you too”
Once you drove away Keegan walked back to the cop car, slipping back into the driver's seat. His partner who’d been paired up with him again to patrol sat in the passenger seat smirking at him. “You’re so whipped,” Jessica teased.
“Shut up.” Keegan mumbled and stared at the road where you’d just driven off on.
He and his partner both knew it was true—he was whipped, so love-sick—but he hated being teased.

corrupt!Nanami
A/N: For @mozlov. Enjoy! 🫶🏽
corrupt!Nanami shifted personalities like flipping off the light switch on a dark stormy night: Your big soft bear was more savage than ever. "You're not listening. She's not takin time off. And as long as y/n works here, so do I. End of fuckin story." Nanami snarls at Yaga. Rolling and flexing his shoulders like he's getting ready for a fight. He's always so ready to box these days. Especially over you. "Nami, its okay. Let's just go-" You're pulling at his dress shirt, afraid shits bout to go down. But Yaga simply holds up his hand for silence. "If you can control yourself while we figure out your condition.. Y/n can stay, but-" Nanamis already taking a step forward, eyes narrowed. You gotta put yourself in between them to make sure your husband doesn't swing. "We'll allow you on the grounds for visitation but you simply can't teach like this. Not at the moment, Kento." Nanami stares at him coldly for a moment before turning to you. The adoration in his eyes gives you whiplash, but it's relief when he puts away the malevolent beast and returns your loving husband. "Long as she's good, I'm good." Said with too much conviction, slowly rubbing a thumb over your bottom lip, shallowly dippin between your lips to tease the tip of your tongue. You gasp, eyes wide at at how quick Nanami goes through the motions. Fuckin guy is now starin at you like you're his prey. "But she's takin the day off." He quickly pulls you from the room without another word, Yaga starin at Nanami's back in utter disbelief.
corrupt!Nanami turns out to be fuckin elated not to be a teacher anymore and quickly loses his dedication to the cause. He's only interested in the art of slaughter, no longer needing a valid reason to pull out his cleaver. Tries, and often fails, to keep that shit to a minimum. Dont get it twisted, Nanami's a murderous bastard. Isn't limited to just killing curses anymore but anyone that gets in his way. Yet.. he's aware how that fucks with your conscience. Knows he can sleep like a baby after but doesn't fuck with how that shit keeps you up at night. So he hides his bloody clothes after a long day, making sure to shower before coming to bed and scooping you into his arms. Falls asleep peacefully as his mind flashes scenes from his lastest kill.
corrupt!Nanami no longer asks your permission for shit anymore. Bent over to pick somethin up? That ends up with your husband puttin you on all fours, giving you back breaking back shots as your try to crawl away. "Quit that, y/n. Told yo fine ass bout doin that shit, right? Bendin over so just so I can see.. 'S all your fault.. You know I can't help it. Ass is too perfect to ignore." It's worse when you try to work out. Always sneaks up from behind to grab you, accusin you of excersing for hours just to tease him. So you find your self in Nanami's lap, cock warming him as you try to catch your breath from your workout. "Aww.. Poor baby, so tired. Don't worry, won't take long. Dicks been so hard watching this whole time. Help me baby, please. You're the one that did this to me.." Christ you cant even get any sleep round your torturer, most nights waking up to his dick hard between your thighs. This times he's awake, thrusting slowly as he holds you to him tight, growling your name at your ear. "Been waitin for you to get up. Look what you did to me.. Throwing that ass on me in your sleep. Come on, y/n. Lemme fuck. Took everything in me not to fill your sleepy lil pussy. Deserve a reward, huh? Gonna help me out?" Not like he needs it since you already feel his first load starting to dry on your thighs.
corrupt!Nanami doesn't have any more patience for you excuses on why you can't give him a baby. Tired as fuck of talking to you about it. So takes it to the next level and starts to plot on you, replacing your birth control with placebos. Then.. He waits to catch you off guard one pitch black night when you're walking to your car from class. You're energy completely drained, you just don't hear him swiftly comin at you from the side. A huge gloved hand blanketing your lips, trapping your scream. Nanami's snatches your wrist together, brawny body restraining you to the car. You struggle against him, too fuckin weak to curse him due to your overwhelming day. But he knows that already; deceitful ass went through alotta trouble to make sure your itinerary was extra full today. "Shhhh." You ignore him, the familiar voice and planes of his muscled chest against yours back not registering, buckin and tryin with all your might to break free. Fuckin turnin Nanami on watchin you attempting to escape, juicy ass repeatedly trapping his dick between your cheeks as you wiggle wildly against him. He ain't waiting a second longer. Fuck your screams, he'll deal with whoever interrupts him accordingly. Lets go of your mouth to rip at your bottoms like they're paper, making your struggles double. Might as well be laying limp, absolutely no match for the 1st grade. Nanami unsheathes his cock, spitting in his hand generously and lubing up. You're body's tense as fuck when you feel him stab through your opening. Pitiful insides clutching his dick like a dear old friend. "Loosen the fuck up woman.." The fuck? "Nami?!" He let's go of your wrists, slamming his hands on either side of you to trap you further. "I told you to be quiet." Snatches your head back by your hair and thrustin the rest of his dick into you. "Nami!" Shrill cry piercing the air. It's uncomfortable without foreplay to prepare you, still he digs you out without remorse. "Shhhh, y/n.. shhh." Nanami squishes you to the car, molding your body to his. Strokin deep as he can, like he'll never see you again. Literally fuckin loud moans from your throat, so damn good that its not your fault your gettin wet; slick building and forming a white ring around him. "Shhhh. Screamin your fuckin head off, baby.. So you not gone listen? Never do. Just like when I told you I wanted to breed this perfect cunt, make you give me a pretty baby. But you didn't listen then either. Now look what you made me do." So that's what this is? The revelation makes you try to get away again but Nanami's hold on your locks keeps you right where he wants you. Sharp yanks that makes you shriek, scalp stinging. "H-hurts, Nami. 'M sorry. So sorry." You whine to him, body fallin pliant against your car. But your husband rolls his eyes. He aint buyin your BS this time. "Naw, you gonna take this nut. Gonna give me my baby, woman." Pulling you off the car and into his body, your husband pummels your lil puss likes he's in heat. "Ahhh fuck, y/n.. Love you. Love you more than anything, finally gonna show you how much, honey." You're disgusted. At doin something this at the school. At him for startin a family like this. Most importantly, at yourself for still loving him, knowing that this changed nothing between the two of you. Even as he breeds your lil puss without consent. "Here it comes- ohshitohshit! Daaaamn, y/n.. Got so much for you. Mmmm.. So good for me. Thank you, sweetheart. Thank you so fuckin much. Only want a baby with you. Only you, y/n. Always been only you." Youre whining when his hips still, Nanami pressin his dick deep as possible when he finally impregnates you. "Love you so fuckin much, honey." "Love you too, Kento.. Fuckin asshole." He chuckles, pulling out and tucking you into the car. "Let's go home, sweetheart. Gonna make your pretty lil pussy cum before I fill her up again." "Kay, Nami."

honey , i know you.
matt sturniolo x reader (fluff / suggestive)
warnings : talk of sex dreams ? smooching . cringe . fluffy fluff , short . may turn into smut if y’all want it .
———-
———-
i scrunch my eyes at the sudden light hitting my lidded eyes as i wake up from my sleep , i turn to nick next to me , his face smushed against his pillow as he sleeps ,chest against his mattress . i smile at his relaxed face and the red dye on his forehead from dying his hair the night before .
i roll over and peel myself out of bed , the early morning sun hitting my face before i quickly close his blinds so he can stay asleep. my oversized t-shirt falls over my curves , just covering my underwear as i walk down the stairs towards the triplets kitchen . i feel completely comfortable walking around in my clothes as none of my bestfriends get up early . i walk past the living room , seeing the sprawled out blankets and canned drinks littering the room from our late night mario kart sesh . i make my way into the kitchen slowly ,i hear a door close , still half asleep i ignore it and open the fridge door , bending over to grab some ice from the freezer.
“mornin” my heart literally falls to my ass at the groggy voice . my hand flies to my chest as i slam the door and turn towards the noise . my eyes land on matt , his hand rubbing his eye and his hair messily plastered on his forehead. his slightly cropped t-shirt riding up his torso , showing his boxers as his sweatpants hang loosely on his hips .
“jesus christ matt you scared the shit out of me” i whisper shout , hand still resting over my heart as i try to slow down my breathing. moving backwards to lean against the counter next to the fridge .
“sorry” he replies , his voice low with sleep , moving closer to me and opening the door of the fridge again , grabbing a water bottle and closing it .
“why are you awake so early?” i ask him , his eyes meeting mine as he takes a long drink of his water , leaning against the fridge door and bringing the drink down to the counter , dropping the lid next to it . “didnt sleep” he replies shrugging his shoulders and dropping his head to the side , his temple resting against the door . the only thing i could think of being how nice he looked . his eyes bearing into mine softly , his hair falling messily over his brows and his jawline sharp as ever at the angle . i inhale a shakey breath before speaking .”do u wanna do something this morning ? before chris and nick wake up? maybe get breakfast or something?” i reply , trying to silence my own thoughts .
“yeah sure, you may have to drive though i’m like on the verge of falling asleep” matt replies, leaning off the door and beginning to walk towards his room . “thought so” i laughed while speaking , following in his direction towards his bathroom.
we get ready quickly, i put on some of matt’s clothes so to not wake up nick, we set up in his car , him trusting me to drive the mini van for once . i plug in my phone and play our shared playlist, consisting of lots of mac miller and random songs we both liked .
“hey so how come you couldn’t sleep?” i asked over the sound of clubhouse by mac faintly playing in the background. his head snaps from his phone , before awkwardly looking around before speaking. “um , im uh , not sure . probably like adrenaline or something?” he speaks , squinting his eyes and avoiding my gaze. my head turns back and forth as my eyes can’t pick between the road or matt , my mind not being able to choose between letting his answer slide or asking him more . i choose the latter .
“adrenaline from what ? mario kart wasn’t that intense was it ?” my eye brows scrunched together as i side eye him from the drivers seat , hitting a red light i turn towards him . “hey . what’s on your mind matt?” no answer . “matt bro what’s-“
“have you ever had a sex dream?”
oh .
my lips purse as i’m sure my eyebrows lifted for high they touch my hairline . he notices my face and immediately starts rambling on about how he didn’t mean to make me uncomfortable, and it was a stupid question but all i could think about was my answer .
“yes” i cut him off , his head allmost flies off his neck as he spins to look at me . eyes wide , and mouth slightly parted . we go into an awkward silence for a while . i park the car up in a near car park , pretty much empty from the early time . the only sound in the car being our gulps and my tapping on the wheel , along with our playlist as we avoid each others gaze .
“yes i have had a sex dream . why?” i break the silence , not daring to meet his eyes . we’re both adults , and obviously have had sexual conversations before . but that was in a group , or fueled my too many hits of a joint or even over text . but being literally in the car with the guy i’ve been secretly obsessed with for half my life , talking about sex dreams …..that included him , was not on my bingo card for today.
“can i be totally tmi y/n/n , like , it won’t be awkward, what i say in this car will not leave this car .” matt says turning to me suddenly, i copy his actions and tuck a leg under my thigh to get comfy . his eyes flicker to my thigh, then up to me (lowkey submissively may i add) .
“matt i’ve literally just admitted to having sex dreams before . we have officially entered the awkward tmi stage ….promise i won’t judge .” i say placing a hand on his shoulder and smiling at him. watching him look at it , before meeting my eyes again smiling .
“ok so , please don’t like take this in a weird way , but . i had a dream last night …. right? involving….you? i mean like it wasn’t like a crazy one, but like i woke up all confused and hard and then i was just up all night overthinking it because like ….. YOURE YOU?! YOUR LIKE A SISTER TO ME ……. NO ok i cant say that cuz your not ,your attractive and like really fucking smart and it’s like ….. i’m not saying i like have a crush on you but-“
i interrupt him by lurching forward and attaching my lips onto his . it takes a second for him to relax into it , but i feel a hand softly set on my cheek, moving it toward my hairline , caging his fingers around my ear as he pulls me impossibly closer . my hand ghosts over his , before holding his hand against my face . he pulls away stunned , his lips still puckered while his eyes search mine rapidly , flicking between them trying to fine any impilaction that i regretted it . he found none.
“matt-“ he attached our lips again , hungry this time , his tongue grazing my lips begging for entry. i give it him and a soft moan emits from my throat . i feel him smile into the kiss , making me chuckle as i move with his lips . i pull away out of breath slightly , putting a hand to his face and rubbing my finger against his cheek. i watch him lean into the touch , his eyes soft and allmost pleading .
“matt i need you to know something.” i say before slowly inhaling, trying to ground myself knowing i could make this really wierd . he hums in acknowledgment, furrowing his eye brows and biting the inside of his lip . he’s anxious? i know this because i know him . i’ve spent years with him , silently watching every finger pick or shakey tremor . i’ve seen his face light up at certain songs or movies , i know he loves a very specific brand of root beer the most . i know he has to watch an episode of gravity falls before bed . i know he can’t talk while reversing or at a junction. i know he hates the way my legs bounce under the table . he knows i’m anxious and places a calming hand on my knee. he knows me .
“matt i like you.” i blurt out , my mouth goes dry after saying the words , and i gulp down the bile that rises when he’s silent . “i mean like, i like like you” still silence . “matt?”
“im in love with you.” finally he speaks . and i couldn’t be fucking happier with his words .”i think i have been for years” .
oh
———-
i hate this but i had to post . i wanna take a small break from smut for a second cuz i lowkey hate writing it . no i don’t . i just idk !!!! i’ll get back on my shit soon !!! i just am a very busy gyall.
also lmk if y’all wanna pt 2 , smut version . a cute little “what are we doing in your dream” 😏😏

series masterlist // playlist
You had the train car all to yourselves. Few peacekeepers were allowed to leave in the wake of the murders, and for that you were thankful. You were able to let Tybalt out to explore the car, but he mostly stayed on your lap.
You felt guilty about taking him, you didn't even want to ask until your mother insisted, and Coryo wouldn't deny you bringing him. You thought about maybe taking him to a vet when you arrived. There were hardly any in Twelve, none of which made time for domestic animals that weren't livestock of some kind. You had to assume that in the Capitol that was a completely different story, so maybe this would be good for him.
It was dark by now, and Coryo was fast asleep on the bench next to you, head pressed to the window. You suspect he hadn't slept at all the night before.
"Sejanus." You whisper. "Are you awake?"
"Yeah." He replies quietly, sitting across from you at the small table.
"Are you okay?" Your question is met with a few beats of silence.
"I was meant to go with them." He whispers. "I didn't want to go back there."
"The Capitol?" You ask. "Why not?"
"It's not my home." He answers simply. You can hardly see his face in the dark, but you can tell he's sad. Grieving the life he could have had.
"I'm sorry."
"It's not your fault."
"Sejanus?" You whisper, leaning forward to try and see him.
"Hm?"
"Was Lennox going too?"
"No." You can see the shadow of him shaking his head in the dark. "He was only going to bring some supplies for us out to the cabin at the lake and leave them for us to pick up on our way."
You breathe a quiet sigh of relief. He couldn't have left. You knew you couldn't bear it- and your parents would not cope well losing another child. You thought he wouldn't do that, but you weren't confident enough to say for certain. You'd much rather have a rebel for a brother than never see him again. Though, to you, helping friends was hardly an act of rebellion.
"What... what are you going to take?" You ask, hoping to change the topic. It was nice to have him talking again. "At the university, I mean."
"Medicine. I'd like to be a doctor, I think. I want to help people, maybe out in the Districts."
"Of course." You grin. "That's so like you. Your patients will be very lucky people."
"It'll never be enough." He shakes his head and you frown. "I can't help everyone. And everyone outside the Capitol needs it so bad. Did you know my father is the head of munitions in District Two? I'll never be able to make up for the pain my name has caused. Never."
"Well..." You look down at the cat curled up next to you. "You saved Tybs. I can't even tell you how much that means to me. Everything you do will mean so much to people. Even if it's just one person, I think that is more than enough. To try is more than enough."
You see the ghost of a smile twitch on his lips. "Thanks, Y/N. You're gonna do good things, too."
"How unhappy is he who cannot forgive himself."
Sejanus sighs. "Extremely."
A few hours later, it was your turn to sleep. At least, to try. It was hard to get comfortable, curled up on one of the benches with a bag of your clothes as a pillow and Tybalt insisting on sleeping on top of you.
You were just drifting off, you could hardly keep your eyes open, when quickly a nightmare jolts you awake. Bang! The sound of a gunshot- in your dream state you know it's the bullet that found a home in Cole Harlem. The next 'bang' was the sound of your head hitting the table next to you when you shoot back up, unintentionally scaring your cat off of your side.
You hiss, placing a hand on the side of your head and rubbing it through the pain. "Ow..."
"Y/N? Are you okay?" You hear Coryo ask quietly, followed by footsteps across the centre aisle of the train car.
"Mhm." You hum, trying to squint to see him in the poor lighting. It must be almost morning- there's a blue wash beginning to paint over everything onboard, including his form as he's crouched down next to you.
"Let me see..." He says softly, hands already lifted ready to touch you. To see if he can help.
You move a little closer, dropping your hand so he can gently cradle your face in his larger ones, using a finger to turn your head to the side as he examines the bump on your temple.
It's impossible for him to see in this lighting, but if there was blood he would be able to tell. "Just a bump." He whispers. "You'll be alright."
You just nod slightly under his grip, eyes searching for his in the dark. Neither of you want to move. Being this close to you, having you come home with him is a gift he wouldn't dare miss by blinking too slowly or letting his hold on you drift.
"Nightmare?" He asks quietly and you just nod again. Without a word, you're moving back on the bench to the window and he is sliding into the spot next to you. "Do you think you'll be able to get back to sleep?"
"No." You answer softly, giving a slight shake of your head.
"Can I ask what it was about?" He asks. "Tigris always told me talking about it helps."
You chew your lip, looking away from him and down at the empty table. "Cole."
Coryo tenses next to you, his jaw clicking from the small movement. "I... I am sorry." He doesn't know what to say besides that- and he feels like telling you that dirtbag deserved it would do little to help the situation.
"Can I tell you a secret?" You whisper, voice mostly steady.
He nods, watching you expectantly. You take a deep breath. "I'm glad he's dead."
You must be a changed woman. It was hardly like you to say something like that- let alone feel it, but keeping it in would just keep you up at night. Coryo wouldn't hate you for it, you're sure.
He looks at you, head tilted while he confirms with himself that you did, in fact, just say the words he heard. You were the most gentle soul in Panem, he was sure, so what on earth could he have done to you to make you say something like that? Now he was more sure than ever that he did deserve it. "What did he do to you?" His gaze softens as it finds yours, and you slightly shake your head.
"It's... kind of a long story." You whisper.
"I have all the time in the world for you."
He sees the ghost of a smile tug at your lips, and you look down at your lap to process your thoughts. "He just... doesn't, didn't know how to take no for an answer." You try to explain it briefly, but the way Coryo's eyes widen makes you backtrack. "I mean, no. I'm sorry. He didn't hurt me. Well, he did, but not in the way that that sounded like." You take a deep breath. "He asked me if I would like to go on a date with him, and I said no, thank you, because I knew him and I knew he had a temper and I didn't think we would work. So, he would wait outside my school and follow me home everyday. He kept asking, I kept saying no, but he didn't listen. It only made him more mad."
It was a rare occasion that you felt so numb talking about someone who had died. "Then, about three months before the games, I guess he couldn't take the rejection anymore and he dragged me away and... I don't know how to describe it... beat me up. I suppose." You laugh dryly, only noticeable to Coryo because he was watching. "Lennox found us, really got into it with him and then had to literally carry me home with his own black eye and bleeding nose."
He nods slightly in understanding, holding himself together from throwing a fist through the window. He was right. That piece of human garbage did deserve it. Now he had every right to be glad he was dead, and so do you. It makes sense to him now, of course you'd only be pleased with a murder if it was someone who had hurt your brother- the fact that he had hurt you the way he did had nothing to do with it.
"You have every right to be happy." He tells you. "Shit, to be honest now I'm wishing I shot him myself."
"Coryo..." You sigh, frowning at him.
"Too far?" He laughs, and you can't help but join him.
"Yes!"
"'Kay, sorry, love. I'll keep it to myself." He raises his hands defensively, cocking his head to the side.
You're quiet for a moment. It's torturous for you both. "He's the reason I went in after you." Your voice is lowered now, noticeably. "He said that I had to go out on that date with him after you left, otherwise I shouldn't be shocked if my Pa ends up executed for treason."
Coryo swallows, staring at you in absolute shock. It just kept getting worse.
"I was terrified, I didn't know what to do, I couldn't be alone anymore. You would have left the next morning and I would have been with him. And I knew he wouldn't have let me talk to you ever again, and I was so scared you would hate me and you'd never know that I didn't have a choice."
"I could never hate you." He says, taking the calculated risk of reaching out to touch your hair, rolling the ends of the soft strands between his fingers. "It'd break my heart, but I wouldn't hate you."
"That's almost worse." You laugh quietly, eyes locked on his hand at your side.
"I'm glad you're coming with us. I don't know how I could live without you." He glances down at your lips, only a shadow in the dark as you pull your bottom lip between your teeth.
"Morning without you is a dwindled dawn." You agree, and that's all he can handle before he has to kiss you again.
He's so gentle when he holds your jaw in his hand and presses his lips to yours that you aren't sure if there really was a static shock that accompanied it or if that was just your body reacting to his skin on your own.
"I love you, Y/N/N." You almost swallow his words, smiling against his lips. "You know that, right?"
"I love you too, Coryo."
You tried to get as much sleep as possible over the two day ride, waking when the sun rises and you could feel the heat on your skin. You could see the tall buildings that made up the city in the distance.
People say that a ride back always feels faster, because you're familiar with the path; that your mind chooses to forget the uneventful sections. You believe it. The ride home had felt like it took an eternity, but this time it felt too fast. You were nervous; scared, more than excited. Even though this is supposed to be a good thing.
If Coryo had just asked if you would like to go with him, what would you have said? No matter how many hours you put into the question, you really don't know. Not until Cole threatened your family, anyways. You would have had to turn him down, then. Regardless, you were never given the privilege of a choice.
This isn't about him. You have to remind yourself. This is about saving your family, in more ways than one.
Maybe it really was a good thing that Cole was shot. You curse yourself for even thinking such a thing, but with him alive the only possible outcome was him having your father killed. You could only be the perfect girlfriend for so long- you knew him, one mistake from you and he would make true on his word. Then you would have to marry him in order to have another income. Your winnings from the games would only take you so far on your own.
You're not sure if it's the swaying of the train that's really making you sick.
You would get your answer an hour later when your train crossed the bridge over the river, and the Capitol was in full, glorious view.
You could physically feel the blood draining from your face as you stare out the window, unable to look away. You looked like a deer in headlights.
"Y/N/N?" Coryo hums, placing a hand on your leg. "You okay?"
You nod slightly, but you're hardly processing what's happening around you.
He frowns, leaning forward to be able to get a closer look at your face. You look like you're about to vomit or faint or both. "Look." He smiles, patting your leg and pointing out the window. "That tall building there, you see it?" You nod slowly, watching where he's pointing. "Up on the top floor there's a restaurant with big floor to ceiling windows that overlook the river and the mountains. It's beautiful." He's never been there, but he's heard it's incredible.
"And over there, that smaller, longer building is a mall." He tells you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and sliding closer as you continue to follow his hand. "On the outside there's this ice cream shop that makes the most amazing flavours. Literally anything you can imagine." He chuckles slightly. "I'll take you there."
You smile slightly, and the colour begins to return to your face with a slight rosiness in your cheeks.
"After the tunnel we'll pass the university." He grins. "It's a really nice campus, you'll love it there. They have a massive library."
You close your eyes as the train plunges into the darkness of the tunnel, nodding slightly.
"What would you like to do? We can go anywhere."
"I... today I'd just like to go home." You answer quietly.
"Of course, love. But another day, sometime in the future."
You think for a moment. "Is there a vet here?" You ask and he nods.
"I'd like to take Tybs to get looked at. He's not sick, or anything... but he's never been to the vet before so I'd just like to make sure he's in good health." You explain.
"Yeah, we can definitely do that." Coryo agrees. "And there's this bookstore that's three stories tall, you'll love it." He adds.
"Can I meet your cousin?"
"Yes, love. Of course. She'll live with us, you'll be the best of friends." Coryo explains, squeezing your shoulder. He hadn't yet considered you meeting his family, he didn't even have the chance to tell them you were coming. It would be fine, he knew that. They had the room and the funds to support another person now, that wasn't even a question. Tigris had been dying to meet you, wanting to know every detail about you before the games and especially in his phone calls home while he was in Twelve.
He realized suddenly that maybe he should be worried about his Grandma'am. He knew she had a prejudice against people in the Districts, she had voiced as much during his mentorship. She had even influenced a similar attitude in him his whole life- but you were different. You weren't like them, and she would have to learn that, but that didn't make him any less nervous about what she might say to you until then.
"I'm excited." You tell him, forcing yourself to only think about the good things to come.
Your hands are shaking as you pull into the station. You can already see it's a different one than you were pulled from last time, the first place you met Coryo. You grab your bags, holding the one containing Tybalt close to your chest as the door opens and you walk out. He wasn't too fond of getting back inside after having the freedom of roaming the train car, but you were grateful he was not a very temperamental cat.
Mostly, the station was deserted. There were a few peacekeepers here and there, but you still felt as though all eyes were on you.
You didn't notice when your friends were greeted by their waiting family members, still looking around and processing your surroundings.
"Y/N/N?" Coryo's voice brings you back to reality, and you realize you hadn't taken a single step away from the train yet. "Come here."
You smile as you walk over, eyeing who you assume to be his cousin.
"Hello, there." You grin, giving a slight wave but still holding tightly onto your cat.
"Y/N." Tigris smiles, her blonde hair draped over her shoulders in meticulously styled curls. "It's so amazing to meet you! I'm Tigris, Coryo's cousin."
"Yes, you as well." You nod, trying to mask your nervousness with a smile. "How are you?"
"I'm amazing, I am just so pleased you're here. What a great surprise!" She claps, and you take in her outfit. You've never seen such fine materials, outside maybe the silk scarf Coryo gave you that is now tucked in the old suitcase sitting next to his feet. You wonder if she made the clothes she was wearing, remembering he said she was a designer.
"Coryo has told me so much about you. I've been excited to meet you."
"I really wanted to come see you before the games but I couldn't get away from work, I'm so sorry this is the first time we're meeting." She says and you swallow, nodding slightly in response. "Will you be staying with us?"
"If... if that's okay." You say, looking to Coryo who nods.
"Of course that's okay." He answers on her behalf, but she nods in agreement.
"Yes, you're always welcome. We're so happy to have you."
"Thank you." You breathe a silent sigh of relief.
"We should get going, yeah?" Tigris says and you nod, adjusting your hold on the bag in your arms.
They start to walk, already talking about all the excitement of the trip when you get a tap on your shoulder. You jump slightly, turning and pulling your bag closer to your chest.
"Sorry, dear. I didn't mean to startle you." The woman smiling sadly at you must be Sejanus's Ma. He's standing with her, so it was the only assumption you could make.
"It's okay." You reply quietly, smiling at her politely.
"Y/N, this is my Ma." Sejanus introduces you, confirming your suspicions.
"Nice to meet you." You smile, and she brings her hands up to place on your shoulders, gently rubbing them.
"It's so good to meet you, dear." You feel so greatly comforted by her already. "Sejanus told me you would be staying for a while."
"Yes, ma'am."
"You call me Ma." She quickly corrects you, and you match her smile. You could cry- the burning behind your eyes is telling you that you just might. "We know damn well how hard this transition is, so if you need anything at all at any time, you call us. Okay? We'll help you however we can. With anything."
You smile at them, tears filling your eyes. "Thank you." You sniff, and she pulls you into a hug.
Graciously, and awkwardly with Tybalt still between you, you accept. You never want her to let go.
"Of course, dear. You'll always have a home away from home with us if you need it."
"I can no other answer make, but thanks, and thanks." You say, tears flowing now. You never seem to stop crying- but for the first time in a long time, it was from real happiness.
"Twelfth Night." Ma says as she pulls away, still holding your arms.
You laugh slightly, biting into your bottom lip and nodding. "Yes! You've read it?"
"I brushed up after Coriolanus came around asking for Romeo and Juliet." Ma shrugs, letting you go and letting Sejanus give you a hug as well.
"Coryo has our number. Call anytime, I mean it." He tells you and you nod against his shoulder. "But I'll see you soon, okay? We'll hangout all the time."
"All the time." You agree as he lets you go. "I don't want to keep them waiting, so..."
"Yes, of course. It was so good to meet you." Ma smiles.
"You as well, Ma. I'll see you soon I am certain." You wave goodbye and catch up to Coryo and Tigris, who stopped just a little ways away to wait for you. "Sorry..."
Tigris wipes the worried expression off her face. Coryo probably just had to explain why you were there. "Don't worry about it! Ready to go?"
"Yes." You grin, quickly wiping your eyes. "Lead the way."
There are so many things that you hadn't considered on the train ride. Such as, where was the nearest post office? Or how is Tybs going to handle being indoors constantly? You'll have to get him a litter box- you've never had one before since he was mostly an outdoor cat, and would he need toys now that there probably wouldn't be mice or birds for him to hunt?
Also, there was the immediately obvious fact that the stares you were getting were endless. People even stopped you asking for pictures on the way back- Coryo had to tell them no. Several times. It wasn't any longer than a twenty minute walk.
Everyone seemed so excited to see you, to talk to you. Or, talk at you, rather. It was uncomfortable, but it was so different than what you were used to at home. Especially after the games, people tended to literally cross the street to avoid talking to you. Here, it was the opposite. You were some kind of celebrity. You knew Capitol people liked the games, but you didn't know it was like this. You tried to be polite, but being celebrated for something so awful is hard to swallow. You almost preferred the shame that came with being avoided.
"Is it normally like that?" You ask quietly as you walk into the lobby of a tall building, the floors and pillars lined with white marble. You had never seen anything like it.
"I'm not sure." Coryo answers honestly. "You are the first Victor to ever come back, but like I said, people loved you. Thousands of people watched just for you. That's why I won the Plinth Prize- you boosted the viewership beyond what's ever been seen before."
"Oh." You answer simply, following them into a set of silver sliding doors in the wall.
"When we get up I'll make you something to eat, you guys must be starving." Tigris says as the mechanical doors slide shut again, and you tilt your head.
"Uhm... I-" Your question is halted by a steady shake of the small room you're in, and it feels like you're moving.
Coryo looks over at you and your wide eyes, furrowing his brow. "What's wrong?"
"Are we moving?" You ask, looking around. You're surrounded by mirrors, only seeing endless reflections of the three of you.
Tigris covers her mouth to hide her smile, and Coryo laughs. "Yes, love." The two of them look at each other briefly. "This is an elevator, in a second the doors will open and we'll be at our apartment."
"Oh, wow." You laugh slightly, in a small amount of shock.
"I didn't even think that you might not know what it is, I'm sorry." Coryo chuckles, gently rubbing circles onto your back as the doors slide open again and just like he told you, you were somewhere new.
"That's okay, I just have a lot to learn apparently." You giggle, shaking your head as you step out of the so-called "elevator". You look back inside it as the doors slide shut. "So, how does it work?"
"Honestly, I am not entirely sure of the mechanics of it but there's a motor up top, and when you press that button it lifts to you and then lowers to where you want to go." He explains as Tigris pulls out her key to unlock the door. "It didn't work for over ten years, so it's kind of new to me too."
He's trying to make you feel less embarrassed, and that makes you smile at him. "I see. That's neat."
"It is, isn't it?" Coryo grins. He was in absolute awe of you everyday, but now that he's realized that there are so many things you don't know, even as the smartest person he's ever met, and that he wants to show you absolutely everything. Had you even tried ice cream before? What else would be new to you? There were certainly no cars besides peacekeeper trucks in Twelve, not that he had seen anyways, so it must have been jarring for you to see civilian vehicles on the walk back. He should have asked.
As adorable that it was that there were things you had never seen before, it almost worried him in a way he hadn't considered before. You would need him around a lot- not that he minded one bit. He had liked that about the games, he knew where you were while you were caged up at the zoo and he could leave and come back with the comfort of knowing you would be there waiting for him.
His thoughts are interrupted when Tigris gets the door open, shouting for their grandma'am. He takes a deep breath, smiling as he holds the door for you. It is good to be home.
"We have company!" Tigris calls out as you walk in, and you look around focussed on keeping your mouth shut as not to physically gawk at their home. Their apartment was beautiful, with a somewhat open concept and halls that spun off in all directions from the main foyer.
"Oh, lovely! We haven't had company in ages. You should get the tea on, dear." You hear his grandmothers voice before you see her, sparing a glance at Coryo. If he's nervous, he doesn't look it.
She looks like the sweetest old lady, her white hair matching the shade of her silk robe and slippers. "Oh, Coryo!" She smiles, heading straight to him and giving him a hug. "How we have missed you..."
"I missed you too, grandma'am." He sighs, gentle as he hugs her back. When he lets her go, it seems like she has noticed you for the first time.
The excited smile on her face fades instantaneously as she looks you up and down. "Who's this?"
"This is Y/N. You remember I told you about her, right?"
"I do." She nods, a sour look on her face as she stares at you.
"Hello, you must be Coriolanus's grandmother, it is so lovely to finally meet you." You smile, readjusting your bag so you can hold it in one arm in order to extend your hand to her to shake. She doesn't take it. "You have a beautiful home, Mrs. Snow." You continue when she doesn't answer you, holding your smile and trying not to seem terrified. It was like the lead-up to the games all over again.
"What's in her bag?" She asks Coryo when she sees it move, ignoring you altogether as you awkwardly drop your hand.
"That's Tybalt, her cat. He's the softest thing, you'll love him." He smiles, an apologetic look in his eyes as he glances over at you. This is exactly what he was afraid of.
"A cat?" His grandmother gasps, taking a step back with a hand to her chest. For a moment, you were scared she was about to have a heart attack.
"Grandma'am, you love cats!" Tigris says, stepping back in from the kitchen with a kettle in hand. "Y/N, come join us in the sitting room. I'm just getting some snacks together."
"Not feral ones!" She replies, appalled.
"Oh, he's not feral, Ma'am." You assure her. "Unless you're a mouse or a bird, he's the gentlest animal alive."
"Coriolanus Snow how dare you bring these... these strays into our home!" Now she's talking like you aren't even there, and you can't help but laugh nervously.
You look away, anywhere but at either of them. Maybe you would be calling Sejanus and his Ma for somewhere to stay by the end of the afternoon.
"They aren't strays." He defends you quickly, frowning. Okay, this was what he was afraid of.
"Here, come sit, Y/N." Tigris says quietly, placing the kettle back down and guiding you out of the room with hands on your shoulders. "I am so, so sorry." She whispers as you walk away.
"It's quite alright." You insist. "She didn't know I was coming, it was all so short notice. I completely understand." She didn't even know you were staying yet.
The sound of Coryo talking down his grandmother faded into muffled sounds as Tigris closes the door to what looks to be a bedroom. "No, no it's not right." Tigris frowns, shaking her head. "I don't want to make excuses for her but the war and the dark days were so hard on her, a lot of the blame was placed on the people from the Districts. She lost both her children and she never really came back from that."
"No, I do understand." You smile sadly. "I'm so sorry you and your family went through that. It must have been so difficult."
"The war was awful for everyone." Tigris shakes her head. "Please, don't apologize to us. No one came out of that unharmed."
"Do you mind if I let Tybalt out?" You ask, eager to change the subject.
"Please." Tigris grins, clearly just as relieved that you weren't horribly offended by their grandmothers behaviour. "I'm excited to meet him."
You smile, crouching down and opening up the carrier for him to hop out. He does so promptly, taking advantage of the opportunity.
"He's so cute!" Tigris squeaks, crouching down to pet him. He was a little jarred at first by new surroundings, but he quickly accepted them when she began petting him. "It'll be so nice to have a fluffy friend here."
"Thank you for being okay with me bringing him." You smile, taking the time to look around the room yourself. Everything looked hardly touched, all sparkly and new with corner windows lighting up the space beautifully.
"Our home is your home." She smiles, standing up again and Tybalt is quick to run over to you, rubbing up against your legs. "That applies to both of you. Grandma'am will come around."
"Thank you." You smile. "The soul should always stand ajar, ready to welcome the ecstatic experience."
When she smiles, you can see outside of the blonde hair how her and Coryo are related. "You truly are something else."
"Oh, I hope that's a good thing..." You laugh.
"Yes, absolutely." She laughs. "I'll go get that tea going again and get the guest room all set up for you. The bathroom is right across the hall if you need it, and Coryo will come get you when grandma'am has relaxed a bit."
"Thank you." You say again, watching your cat hop up onto the desk against the back wall.
She gives you a quick hug. "Welcome home." She says softly, shutting the door behind her as she leaves.

Save me Professor- part 1
Word count: 2,006.
Pt.2
15+++
~warnings- eventual smutt! pantie stealing (consentual), pet names (is that a warning?), suggestive content, w3t dreams, mental health issues, bad dreams (fire and death)
Y/N had just been kicked out of her mother's house after her mom has a schizophrenic break and moves to Flordia leaving her to fend for herself. Her professor can't bare seeing Y/N in such a state, and offers her to stay in his guest bedroom, can they be roomates without his dark desires taking control?
"P-please don't stop sir" his hands hot on her body. His large hands getting closer and closer to where she needs them most.
"What do you want, baby? Tell me" His breath hot on her neck.
"Please professor Reid" she moans out in need.
"Y/N... Y/N... Y/N wake up"
What?
My eyes snap open, being awoken back into the cruel reality of my life.
I sit up at my desk and look around.
The class is empty.
I look up, "oh my God, I'm so sorry professor Reid, I must have fallen asleep." I say hastily gathering all my things causing my pencil case to fall off my desk.
I lean over to pick it up, as does he. "Y/N, it's ok, but are you alright?" He asks, crouching down next to me.
I look into his eyes anxiously. Nodding. "Why would you think otherwise Sir?" I ask shyly, trying to avoid his intimidating eye contact.
"Look at me sweetheart" He says, making my thighs clench and insides throb.
I follow his orders and look into his eyes.
My mouth going dry.
"What's the matter?" He asks. "Your the best in this class and never lose focus like this, let alone fall asleep." He explains his worry.
"I. I uhm, my mom kicked me out last night. She has schizophrenia and she now decided to move to Flordia. So I have no where to stay. So I was up all night, studying to keep my mind off of things." I say, my eyes beginning to water.
I blink them away and look over to the window, not being able to look him in the eyes.
"Oh sweet girl" He says, and hugs me.
I hug him back as tight as I can. The comforting feeling unusual to me.
"I'm sorry, I know this isn't your problem and there are other students who have much bigger more important issues, i really didn't mean to fall asleep." I say into his chest.
"Don't apologise Y/N" He says sternly.
"You didn't do anything wrong, did you know that the average female needs atleast 7 hours of sleep, and if they don't get that, their stress and anxiety levels increase and the lack of sleep reduces your physical and cognitive performance." He says pulling away. I smile at his rambling and nod while wiping my tears away.
"Where are you staying now?" He asks, standing up and looking down at me.
I look up at him anxiously to respond.
"I don't know." I whisper out, looking away, feeling the tears starting again.
"How would you like to stay with me? Until you figure things out ofcourse." He asks cautiously.
I look up at him shocked.
"Are you sure?" I ask.
He nods.
"Ofcourse, you are my favorite student after all." He chuckles out.
He Whips the falling tears as they spill down my cheek as I look up at him. I lean into his touch.
"Is that alright, love?" He asks, I nod.
"Use your words" He says.
"Yes sir, I'd love to." I say shyly.
"Excellent, let's get going now shall we? Do you have your things or?" He asks, as he walks to his desk, gathering his belongings.
"I was only able to grab my school uniform, school books, laptop, chargers and bathroom stuff, that's all I could fit in my backpack." I say.
He nods.
He signals me to follow him, I get up and walk behind him to his black sports car.
I get into the front seat and place my bag infront of me on the floor.
"Seat belt" He says, starting the car.
I put the seat belt on and shiver from the cool fall air.
"Good girl" I blush hard.
I lean my head against the cold window, watching the passing trees go by. My eyes begin to get heavy as I doze off.
I'm awoken this time ruthlessly.
"Y/N are you ok?" He groans, shaking me awake. There was fire everywhere.
"What happened?" I ask, beginning to hyperventilate.
I look back at him but his eyes are shut, his face bloody and chard.
I scream and scream and scream.
"Y/N wake up, it's ok wake up, we are here" he says lightly shaking me awake once again.
I wake up sobbing and lean to cling to him in a tight hug.
"Shh s'okay, I'm here, it's ok" He says holding the back of my head and rubbing my back.
"What was the nightmare about baby?" He asks soothingly.
"We got into a car accident, and you died." I whimper out, my voice hoarse from all the crying.
"Oh honey, it's ok, I'm alright see. I'm alive." He says placing my hand over his heart. I calm down and look around seeing we are at a nice sized house, with vines down the front and sides of it, it looked like a cottage from a fairytale. My eyes light up at the sight.
"Woah" I say amazed.
He chuckles.
"Follow me" He says, taking my bag for me.
"Thanks" I say shyly, realizing this is my professor and not some high-school crush.
He was just being nice and caring. That's all.
I follow him into his house and smile at the decor, it matched him perfectly, the furniture old and dark, and the scent of his house was exquisite, like a pumpkin vanilla.
"You can stay in the guest bedroom over here" he says, guiding me down the hall way. "My room is next door here" he says pointing to another door. "And the bathroom is over here" he says.
I nod a thank you.
"I'll let you get settled, I'll be in the kitchen if you need me" He says giving me a caring smile putting his hand on my lower back while leaving down the hall.
I enter the room, observing my surroundings, there was a double bed with an beatiful oak bed frame, on the left side of the room in the middle of the wall, and a window straight ahead, to the right there was a desk, and to the left of the desk was an old white chair.
It was very basic, not in a bad way.
I unpack my bag, putting my limited clothes (being only my school uniforms) in the dresser. And placing the singular Grumpy Care Bear on my bed for comfort.
I exit my new bedroom and go to the kitchen.
"Hey Professor" I say shyly. Sitting down on one of the chairs set at the island.
"Please call me Spencer" He chuckles out.
I blush lightly, enough for him to notice and smirk.
"Ok Spenerrr" I say goofily out of anxiety.
Causing him to smile again.
"Whatcha doing?" I ask boredly.
"Cooking dinner, I hope you like chicken vermicelli noodles" He says with a chuckle.
"I have no clue what that is but it smells good so I probably will!" I say giggling.
"Why are you still in your school clothes its-" He pauses checking his watch "8 PM on a Friday" He asks.
"I didn't manage to fit any of my actual clothes in my bag, so I just have my school uniforms." I say with a sad chuckle. "But it's ok, they aren't that unc-" "nuh uh, I'll be right back" He says cutting me off before leaving the kitchen and stove unattended. "Uh Spence you kinda forgot about the fooood" I call out and walk around the island to the stove, stirring the food in the frying pan. Still having no idea what I'm doing, causing me to burn myself slightly.
"Ow" I say blankly, running my finger under cool water.
I look over to see him leaning against the wall chuckling while holding a t-shirt and sweatpants.
"It's not funny, I don't know how to cook" I whine out in a giggle.
He shakes his head in a laugh.
"Here, wear these" He says handing me his clothes. I reluctantly take them. "Thank you very much sir, you have no idea how much I appreciate you doing all this for me" I say sadly. "Don't mention it, your not that unbearable" He says, causing me to roll my eyes and playfully punch his shoulder.
His eyes widen, "oh yeah?" He says jokingly and picks me up as if I weigh nothing (I most definitely don't weigh nothing) and carries me over his shoulder.
"HEY SPENCER PUT ME DOWN" I giggle out and hit his back, causing him to slap my ass making me yelp "ah ah ah" He says placing me down in the bathroom. "Change your clothes then give them to me so I can wash them" He says smiling before shutting the door.
I sigh out with a smile before undressing, taking everything off.
My smile drops when I realize I have to go commando in my professors sweatpants and braless in his t-shirt.
I put the clothing on, it fitting loosely.
I fold my dirty clothes, making sure my bra and panties were hidden to the best of my abilities.
I exit the bathroom and begin to go to the kitchen, but he isn't there, the food is plated and set on the island but he is missing, "Spence?" I call out.
"BOO" He says, grabbing my waist causing me to scream and drop my clothes. "GODDAMIT" I say absolutely terrified making him laugh even harder. " s'not funny" i whine out.
Both of us bending over to pick up my clothes, I freeze when I see him picking up my panties.
"Hmm, lacey blue, so innocent yet so naughty Y/N" I blush really hard, I go to grab my underwear from his hand but he snatches them away, putting them into his pocket and picks up the rest of my clothes.
I stand in the middle of the kitchen, my jaw on the floor. "Spe-" "ah. I'm confiscating those. For reasons I don't need to say!" He says. "But those are my only-" "we can buy you new ones, any ones you'd like." He says, before walking into the laundry room to place my dirty clothes into the washing machine.
"Common, let's eat." He says, walking over to the island and pulling out a chair for me, before sitting next to me.
I take a bite out of the food and moan out in happiness.
"Do you like it?" He asks with a chuckle.
"Mhmm" I say, taking another bite.
I look over awkwardly.
"I-i like food.." I say shyly.
"I can see that, it's cute" He says, making me blush.
After dinner I help clean up.
"I'll do the dishes, you put the leftovers away?" I say. And he nods.
I wash the dishes by hand, but after washing only 2 cups I get ancy and put some music on the TV, Reflections by The Neighborhood starts playing and I start to sing along while doing the dishes.
Swaying my hips to the music.
I hear footsteps behind me and freeze the music pausing too.
"Y'know. You look really good in my clothes sweetheart." He whispers in my ear, causing me to shudder. His hands around my waist.
"Wanna know what you'd look even better in?" He asks seductively.
"W-what?" I whisper out, not daring to turn around.
"In bed! Because it's bedtime!" He says picking me up again.
"But the dishes! There is only one left!" I whine out, kicking my feet, as he holds me bridal style.
"I can do it, sweets" He says sweetly causing me to smile at the pet name.
God he was going to be the death of me.
NO HE IS YOUR PROFESSOR, but he doesn't seem to mind.
He places me in my bed.
Grabbing my care bear and chuckling.
"What.." I say embarrassed.
"Nothing, just pictured you as a hello kitty girl" He chuckles.
"I love hello kitty too, but I had to chose, and Grumpy was the softest one so.." I say realizing I'm rambling.
He hands me the bear and nods.
"Goodnight Y/N" He says, putting the blankets over me and kissing my forehead. I blush.
"Goodnight Spence" I say kissing his cheek.
I fall asleep easily.

a/n: writing this made me think of all the summer holidays I spent in Croatia with my grandparents and I got incredibly sad because I won’t ever be able to see my grandpa again. the campsite is inspired by the campsite they always had their caravan at and despite my very sad author notes, this is a happy drabble lmaoo
Your boyfriend is sleeping with his back facing you. Somewhere in the tent someone is snoring. Probably Jungkook. Hoseok shares a tent with you as well. He’s got Dragana sleeping next to him. The others, consisting of Taehyung, Jimin, Seokjin and Emma as well as Genevieve, are sharing the neighbouring tent.
If one hadn’t figured it out yet, you went camping. The trip started on Saturday and has been going on for four days. It will still continue for another ten days.
Nature is beautiful. The trips you take during the day are goddamn amazing and the food Yoongi prepares on your camping grill is to die for. You help him every night, which earned you the loving title of “this trips’ mom and dad”. Jungkook tried not to snicker, but he did.
The campsite offers various activities and entertainment zones as well and you are able to reach a small town by car twenty minutes from here.
Truly, it is utterly perfect here. Tall pine forests fill the air with their scents and the ocean offers places to swim and relax. The campsite is located along a bay, which meant the water was almost calm and the boats weren’t racing past you with their loud motors. It was utterly perfect this way.
It is nothing but relaxation and yet you can’t fall asleep. Maybe it’s Jungkook’s snoring or maybe it’s the slightly uncomfortable camping bed, but you can’t fall asleep tonight. You have already been trying for the past two hours and it’s getting exhausting.
You reach out and tap Yoongi’s back, whispering his name as quietly as possible.
He wakes up instantly, lifting his head as a small “hm” escapes him. A tired “mhm-hm” follows and then he already turns his head to you, showing off his terribly dented hair.
“Hm-mh”, another sleepy sound and then Yoongi rolls over, facing you that way. He is looking at you, you know that he is because his eyes reflect the moonlight in a slightly ruby glow.
“Mhm?”
“Did I wake you?”
“Hm.”
“I’m sorry, I can’t fall asleep.”
“Mhhm”, Yoongi closes his eyes and places his hand on your cheek. It is heavy and really warmed up from balling it into a fist in his sleep.
“I tried to, but I can’t.”
“Hmh.”
“Yoongi, can’t you stay awake with me a little?”
“M.”
You stub his nose. Unlike his hand, it is cold to the touch. Courtesy of the chilly night air. Yet another reason why you can’t fall asleep. You are so, so cold that you can’t get comfortable.
“Please Boongie.”
“Do I gotta?” he murmurs in a deep, raspy voice. It is truly so heavy in sleep that you can barely decipher the syllables.
“Yes, please.”
He opens his eyes, blinking at you slowly. He doesn’t say anything. You share silence and Jungkook’s snoring. Somehow you think that it got even louder.
“Yoongi, I’m cold and the bed is uncomfy and Kookie’s snoring so loudly.”
“Mhm”, Yoongi closes in and drapes his arm over you so he could tug you in properly. Then he rubs his hand up and down your back, warming you up that way. The shivering stops, because he is warm and feels safe. You are nuzzled into his chest with his scent engulfing you.
“Thank you. You’re so snuggly.”
“Hmh.”
Another round of silence and Jungkook’s snoring passes. You think that Yoongi fell back asleep because he is breathing terribly slowly again and his hand stopped rubbing your back.
You wiggle so you could tilt your head and look up at his face.
“Psst, Yoongi?” you whisper.
“Hh”, he wanted to hum again, but it only comes out as an airy sound.
“I still can’t fall asleep.”
Yoongi peels his eyes open one by one. First the right, then the left.
“Hh”, another airy sound.
“Do you want to go for a walk?”
“No.”
You pout and boop his nose, “please?”
He shakes his head slowly.
You huff out air in frustration. Stubborn sleepyhead.
“Fine”, you give up, “I’ll go alone. I’m too energized. You stay comfy.”
You wiggle out of his weak hold even if he whines sleepily and tries to grab for you again. You are stronger however, shaking off his arm successfully.
“Please no”, Yoongi begs, but you have already put your mind to it. You smooch his cheek.
“I’ll be back soon. Promise”, you whisper and roll out of bed, abandoning a sulking Yoongi to tiptoe out of the tent.
The air is cool and smells of pine needles. The once loud cicadas of the day have fallen silent. Only your steps and the occasional cracking of a branch as you step on it can be heard in the silence. The dirty dishes of tonight’s dinner are gathered in a plastic washing basket. Seokjin and Jungkook will carry them to the washing area tomorrow morning to clean them. While Jimin and Hoseok will prepare breakfast. You decided on it after dinner. The campsite doesn’t allow open fire for safety reasons. The coal in the safe griller is still cooling down as you pass it, giving off a hint of warmth. It brushes past your legs as quickly as you walk.
You are around two rows of camper vans and caravans separated from the ocean. One dirt path separates the caravan rows from the tent rows and throughout the area old, wind-bended pines provide shadow in the daylight. Most vans are dark by now, except for one where the lights are still on. You try not to listen in as you pass it on your way to the beach.
The small bar, which offers drinks and snacks during the day, is empty right now. The shutters are closed and the chairs are resting flipped on the tables. You maneuver your way through the tables for the sole purpose of wanting to and it is fun to do. You take the two wooden stairs down and land back on the earthen ground, which was covered in pine needles and pine cones.
Only a few more steps and then there is white rock under your feet. The ocean is just a few more steps away. You take them and jump off the small elevation onto the white pebbles. They crunch under your weight, forming a melody as you wander over the empty beach. There are people relaxing on it during the day and children playing in the shallow waters, but now it looks abandoned and calm. Someone forgot their beach mat on the pebbles. You look around for a moment and once you made sure that the coast is clear, sit down on the mat. It does little to shield the pokey nature of the pebbles, but it is better than sitting on the hard, cold stone without anything in between.
You stretch out your legs and let out a loud sigh. The air smells of ocean and pine needles. It is such a nice smell. You inhale deeply through your nose and exhale the same way. You feel a little sleepier already. The walk wasn’t long, but the change in scenery and the new sights to take in, helped your brain to rid itself of the clutter which has been keeping you awake. It wasn’t bad clutter, but it was just enough to keep you awake. You place your hands on the pebbles behind your back and lean your weight on them. Like this, the stones dig into your butt and so you have to wiggle it to change into a more comfortable position. The stones make a sound as you do and somehow they continue making a sound even after you stopped moving. How peculiar. You listen harder. Steps. Quiet ones, but steps nonetheless. Someone is walking over the pebbles to get to you.
You turn your head and squint your eyes. They have been in the dark long enough that you can see the world perfectly. Someone with a smaller frame and dark hair is trotting to you slowly. Their black hoodie is oversized and their shorts reach them just above their knees. You know exactly who is taking a terribly sleepy walk to you, waiting for him with a fluttering heart.
“Why are you here?” you ask him as he reaches your side.
“I can’t sleep when you’re not with me”, Yoongi answers you and drops down on the beach mat. He turns to you instantly, resting his bend legs on your lap and draping his arm over your tummy so he can rest his head on your shoulder. The sleeves of his hoodie reach over his hands, only the tips of his fingers poke out. He nuzzles his cheek against you and huffs out air almost sadly, “don’t leave like this, please”, he murmurs, sounding oh so sad.
“I’m sorry”, you say, draping your arm around him and pulling him closer, “I just needed some air. Kookie’s snoring almost drove me insane.”
He nods his head in understanding and hums quietly. He snuggles even closer and stubs your neck with his nose. It feels cold from the chilly air, but as he exhales, a warm tingle brushes over your skin.
“You’re warm”, he whispers.
“Mhm, your nose is cold”, you say and rub your hand over his exposed shins, “and your legs too”, you add, rubbing them more vigorously to warm him up.
“I’m cold.”
“I thought you can’t get cold.”
“I get cold when you’re not with me.”
You smile and rest your head against his’, “I see.”
Yoongi reaches further over your waist until he can tug at the sleeve of your hoodie. You understand what his gesture meant, lifting your hand so you can intertwine your fingers with him. Yoongi lets out a small sound of happiness and squeezes your hand, growing smaller in your arm as he relaxes.
“I like this”, he whispers slowly. It is a telltale sign that he is this close to falling asleep on your shoulder. He has his eyes closed.
“I like it too”, you answer him quietly, caressing his knuckles. You have your eyes closed as well.
“Don’t you wanna go back to bed?” he asks with an obvious pout on his lips.
“But I like sitting here. It’s peaceful.”
“I’m sleepy.”
“That’s okay. I’ll carry you back if you fall asleep.”
Yoongi stays silent for a moment before he snuggles against you in a small wiggle and mumbles a shy, “I’m too heavy, don’t do that.”
You chuckle, giving his head a little kiss.
“You’re not too heavy, love. You’re my petite, little prince. I can carry you.”
“Oh my god”, he breathes and wiggles again, nudging your tummy with your intertwined hands, “don’t call me that.”
You smile, pulling him closer and using the safe grip you have on his arm to caress him.
“You’re so cute”, you say and kiss his head softly, nuzzling your nose into his soft hair afterwards to get a whiff of his shampoo. Rosemary and mint. It smells heavenly, making your eyes feel droopy, “mhm love, you smell so good.”
“You too.”
You give him a gentle squeeze and an adoring kiss. Then you rub your hand up and down his arm again.
“I really like this place. It’s so beautiful”, you say.
“You’re beautiful”, Yoongi murmurs, making your heart flutter.
“You’re so cute”, you murmur and squeeze him, “and you’re beautiful as well.”
“Mhm.”
“How did you find me either way? Did you use your nose?”
“No, I knew you’d be at the beach”, he says and adds in a whisper, “you like the beach.”
He knows. Even the smallest, most inconspicuous details about you, he knows and remembers.
You seriously want to move mountains for this man. When there are clouds in the night sky, you want to blow them away just so he can see the stars and when he feels cold, you want to change the weather just so he doesn’t have to shiver.
“You know what I thought of right now?” you ask him.
He shakes his head slowly.
“That I love you like crazy.”
He wiggles again and whines, ending it with a terribly shyly mumbled, “I love you too.”
You and he will sit by the beach until his small breaths of sleep meet your ears. Like promised, you carry him back to the tent, even if he wakes up halfway through it as you had to bounce him in your arms for a better grip. He doesn’t complain when he wakes, he merely closes his arms around you tighter and whimpers your name against your neck.
Come morning, he will pretend as if nothing ever happened, but he will sneak longing and very submissive glances your way throughout the day.

summary: you're snowed in with steve. friends to lovers (1.9k)
A pale stream of sunlight poured in through the window leaving you disoriented as you stirred awake. Last time you checked you didn’t have a window adjacent to your bed, nor was it usually this warm in the morning. You thought back to the previous night and the only thing you could recollect was an all-consuming ringing in your ears. Unable to recall anything of substance, you pushed the covers down and sat up slowly, swinging your legs over the side when you were sure you wouldn’t get dizzy. Your eyes focused on the walls painted a mint green color, and what had happened last night seemed to finally click in your mind. You’d fallen asleep at Steve’s last night, the alcohol you’d consumed leaving you unable to drive home, though you didn’t remember falling asleep in that bedroom.
The walls in the hallway were gray with white trimming along the top. The house seemed oddly unlike him, the only signs that he’d even lived there being the scratches on the wall that he’d undoubtedly made as a child. There were windows on either side of the hallway with beige curtains pulled to the side. You looked out the window to see your car parked in the driveway and the road covered in snow.
It’s snowing. How did you fail to notice that before? Was that on the forecast? You pushed that thought away for a few minutes, opting to worry about that later.
Steve was already downstairs, the smell of his cooking making its way up the stairs along with the soft crackle of the fireplace. He turned down the stove at the sound of your footsteps, turning around to face you a moment later.
“D’you sleep okay?”
Somehow, Steve seemed softer in the mornings, his old t-shirt not quite covering his tummy as he reached over to grab a plate.
“Yeah,” you paused, “I don't remember falling asleep there though.” Steve stayed quiet for a minute, like a child who’d done something wrong and had been caught in the process. You’d assumed that you’d fallen asleep there and forgotten but something about the way Steve was looking at you, his honey-brown eyes twinkling with fondness, made you change your mind.
“I carried you there,” he said softly, “is that okay? thought you wouldn’t want to sleep on the couch and I didn’t wanna wake you up…” You nodded with a smile and he seemed to deflate with relief.
“d’you wanna eat anything?” You nodded again and he smiled, flipping the pancake on the stove before putting it on the plate. He handed you the plate and you sat down, watching Steve move around the kitchen with a smile. For a second you let yourself indulge in the domesticity of that moment, let yourself believe that this was more than what it was, your friend doing a nice thing for you.
Do friends do this for one another?
You ignored the thought, grabbing syrup and pouring it on the pancakes before grabbing your silverware. Steve joined you a few minutes later, setting down his plate and a plate of sliced fruit before he sat down. His eyebrows puckered once he noticed you hadn’t started yet.
“You didn’t have to wait for me babe,” he frowned. You didn’t know why, but your heart swelled at the nickname. Maybe it was the ease with which it fell from his tongue. The way it came so easily to him to treat you like something delicate and fragile. It was the way you felt yourself melting at the word.
“I wanted to,” you paused, “it felt wrong to start without you.”
In complete honesty, you’d gotten distracted watching him. Trying to memorize every little habit of his in the morning to make the moment last longer. Something about him had you completely and utterly bewitched. The way he would hum softly to the record he had playing in the background soothing you.
You ate in silence for a few minutes, both of you looking up every so often only to see the other doing the same. The only thing you could hear was the scraping of cutlery against ceramic plates. Steve was the one who penetrated the silence, the scrape of his chair legs against the ground making him wince as he stood up. You followed suit a few minutes after, setting your plate and utensils in the sink before washing your hands.
“it’s snowing” He regretted the words as soon as they fell from his lips. You didn’t give him much time to mull it over though, relieved that he’d been the one to start a conversation as you nodded.
“It’s pretty,”
He smiled.
“You think?”
“Almost distracts you from the fact that you’re snowed in.”
It was true. Somehow he’d gotten through breakfast and the majority of this conversation without thinking about that. It wasn’t like he didn’t want to spend time with you, he did. In fact, he’d dreamed about having a morning similar to this one with you for a while. But all Steve could think about was how right it felt to see you in his kitchen. To see you leaning against the counter as you messed with the hem of your shirt. He tore his eyes away from yours and you did the same, somehow able to sense the nature of his thoughts. Unable to continue the conversation, Steve excused himself to clean, which. in his mind, wasn’t a lie. The kitchen was a mess from last night. So much so that you couldn’t believe you didn’t notice it earlier. You stood there for a few moments before following, deciding that he would need your help considering the state of his house.
By the time you were finished, the both of you were exhausted. The dust that was stirred up made Steve sneeze, and still, he insisted on taking the vacuum cleaner from you, insisting that you’d already done enough. You know he didn't have any ill intentions in doing so, in fact, you couldn’t help but daydream about that moment.
Your back is pressed against his torso, and the warmth from his skin was seeping into yours through your shirt as he whispered to you, “Honey, you know you don’t have to.”
“I want to,” you said simply. You could feel the vibrations in his chest as he spoke softly.
“You've done lots already, let me help,” It was a sort of back and forth, a dance with one hand tied behind your back as the both of you refused to acknowledge what was obviously there. At some point you let him have it, turning around to face him only to realize you’d overestimated the distance between the both of you. Your breath hitched and for a moment, so short that you thought you imagined it, you could see a flicker of want in his eyes. He stood there, his gaze lingering just a second too long on your lips before he swallowed and he stepped back to give you space.
He’d wanted to kiss you and you knew it. You could see it in the bob of his adam’s apple as he swallowed. Could feel it in the way his heartbeat had quickened when your chest was pressed against his. And all you could think was why? Why didn’t he kiss you? Why did he ask if you wanted to share his bed? Why had you agreed? Granted he could see you shivering and this is something that you’d wanted forever but it didn't stop you from wondering.
“what’s on your mind?” His voice was soft, so soft, sweet even. His palm was flat against your back, leaving little room between the two of you as his scent, the faint smell of hairspray, consumed your senses. You couldn’t help but wonder how. How he could lay next to you and pretend nothing had happened. Have the warmth of his body seeping into your skin and be okay.
“Can I ask you something?”
“you just did babe,” a childlike smile made its way onto his lips. You fought the urge to mirror it.
“Steve you know what I meant,”
“You can ask me whatever you want, sweet.”
“Why didn’t you kiss me earlier?” you wondered, “we both wanted to so why didn’t you?”
“oh honey, I—” Your chest ached at the endearment.
“And why do you keep calling me that if you don’t want me?”
“What made you think I don’t want you?”
“Steve–”
“I want you babe, I’ve been wanting you, so much it hurts. As for your other question, I got scared.”
His voice got quiet, as if he were ashamed to admit it. Years later he’d explain to you that it all felt more real as he said the last word. Like the entire conversation had been a dream and he’d only now come to realize that the rise and fall of your chest underneath his palm was real. Nonetheless, you went quiet at his words, rewriting the situation in your mind according to the new piece of information you’d gotten.
“You got scared?”
“Mhm”
“you scared now?” he shook his head and you smiled, “then what's stopping you”
His lips were featherlight against yours, one hand holding your jaw like you were something delicate and fragile. Like you would shatter in his hands. It was all-consuming and barely there at the same time and you couldn’t help wanting more.
“Steve,” you pulled away for a second and he pouted at the loss of you, “More, please.”
“You sure?”
You nodded.
“Words baby I need words.”
“Please, I need you,” That seemed to be good enough for him as his thumb dipped under the waistband of your shorts. The sound that you let out was soft and high-pitched, something between a gasp and a moan when his thumb met your clit.
“That’s cute,” he paused, “do that again for me ‘kay?”
He slotted one of his legs between yours before slipping one of his fingers into you. Your breath hitched in your throat and Steve smiled. It was all a haze, the feel of his skin against yours making you dizzy
“This okay?” He pushed another inside you, the slight stretch making you whimper as it toed the line between pain and pleasure.
“mhm,” He pumped his fingers into you lazily, your slick leaking on his hands and wrist. He had his fingers curled to hit that spot inside you that had you seeing stars.
“Steve” you cried. His mouth fell open at your words, and he swore he’d died and gone to heaven. He quickened the pace of his fingers, and you clenched around him, becoming increasingly desperate for your release.
“God you have no idea how much I’ve been wanting this,” It was lewd really, the way Steve talked to you. The way you could feel his smile against your neck at every little sound you made. The way you could feel his hard cock twitch against your back. The knot in your tummy seemed to tighten as your walls did the same around his fingers.
“That’s it,” his voice was low, the words whispered against the column of your throat, “cum for me honey I know you can.” A mixture of whimpers and whines and his name tumbled past your lips as Steve coaxed you through your orgasm.
“You’re so pretty baby” he mumbled, “you think you can do that again?”
