La Ofrenda. Proud parents of a lovely Fallera Major. She is emotional, near tears. Several ladies and men were similarly affected by the ritual flower offering. I noticed three young ladies, teenagers actually, when it was their turn to hand their floral bouquets. They gave the flowers a kiss, surrendered them to the volunteers manning the statue of the Virgen, and then nearly burst into tears as they walked away hand in hand.
