Are there any The Terror edits to Interpol songs???? I haven't seen any but I'm incredulous that they wouldn't exist. It's just not possible.

I mean... Take You On A Cruise???? Stella Was a Diver and She Was Always Down???? Leif Erikson???? Pioneer to the Falls??? the Antics album is literally themed around morse code and so many of their songs have to do with boats.

If i don't see a Cornelius Hickey edit to Roland by Interpol i think I will die. Or a fitzier edit to Obstacle1.

So fully two months ago I did this WIP game and some of my beautiful mutuals left me asks requesting snippets of specific WIPs. I then went into a terrible fugue state working on my Fall Fitzier exchange fic and didn’t let myself look at or work on anything that wasn’t that, but now! I am back and ready to play with these specific dollies again! Take some sentences of amnesiac!Steve:

He doesn’t know how long it’s been when they wake him, but it’s dark out, and the orderly calls the shitty meal on a tray “dinner”, so it must be evening. Somebody has cleared the books off his bed; they’re in a stack on the chair, next to his duffel of clothes. He’s alone.

He eats, and sits around, wishing he had a TV, or a radio, or someone to talk to. He’d pay literal money for a conversation that doesn’t make him feel like a total space alien. Hospital noises come through to him now and then. He’s slept too much of the day away to sleep again, even though he’s tired. He’s thinking about resorting to one of the books, maybe even one of Claudia’s romance novels, and then the door opens just a crack, and somebody mutters “Steve?”

Oh, what now? “Yeah?”

The door opens a little more, and Eddie Munson creeps in, closing the door behind himself. “Hey,” he says.
