Charlie slimecicle says you should use your local library System.

Get a library card, use the computers, read a book on the couch, ask for help from the librarians, go to the events they host, look at the boards they have on the walls for local events, study, read a book in another language you are reading, take your kids there to meet other kids, hang out after school there, wait for a ride there, hang out before work, browse the audiobooks, and more.

There is so much you can do at a library just go and do it.

just found out its my job to tell you about the "residents" we "house" so.

welcome to the facility, blah blah blah. all you need to know is don't go into the "rooms" alone, never go in without food or a toy, please keep bumpercar the mouser cat away from slimes "room" he keeps getting goop in cars fur, and keep racecar in ranboo's area they get weird when we take that cat away.

uhhhhh if a camera is broken send an ask or smth to one of our accounts we check these more than the company facebook messenger. manager is a weird boomer or smth.

the airlocks on the west end dont work but we have an audio file of the noise just play that on your phone REALLY loud and manager thinks it works still, its too much work to get it fixed, one of the interns can send it your way.

OH dont touch slime's monitor's coffee. we lost a tech last week to it. i think its feeding them to slime? idk i dont care enough about them to keep track.

im NOT doing the next training video. not my circus not my monkeys. if you need me im under my desk crying.

#FOR CONTEXT #i've had a private account since 2014 when nobody here had ig #so i connected with fandom friends there and posted in english and i used to post a lot. at 24. i also follow interesting accounts there #obviously cannot use that for irl friends and family #then i have an account for my business that i haven't updated in over two years bc i don't have time #then i have my bookstagram account which is also a no-no on irl friends and family #there are several reasons i've resisted getting an 'irl account'#one of which obviously is that i already have THREE ig accounts. two i actively keep up with #but i'm always out of the loop with what my irl friends and family are doing #also i hate how fake social media is and seeing the good side of people's lives isn't good for me lol #so... yes/no?#i'd mostly post old travel photos and be selective about who i follow tbh #(also fyi anyone's welcome to follow me @rebel.recs where i post about books but also daily things sometimes)#(and if you're a mutual @pushingdessy but i don't update often)

i think my favorite thing about the internet is how for every single trivial topic you can ever think of there is a group of people perpetually fighting over it
