NOVEMBER TRIBUTE - 9 years and it still feels surreal. 😢 But i have to focus on my blessings and accept that there is a greater plan. My parents were an undeniable force and although she’s alone, my dad’s spirit and wisdom remains, which allows her to continue to raise us and our kids! I couldn’t be more happy to spend the time i have with my mom learning as much from her as possible. Continuing to hear stories of my dad and their early years. Listening to her and hearing the love and respect she still has for my dad. Laughing at the funny stories especially when I’m frustrated at Dave and she tells me some way he’s just like my dad. 💜 I am blessed beyond measure to have had both my parents in life for this long. Although not here in physical form, our family cherishes our memories and we strive to do as they would want. This year was the first time, in these last 9 years, that i can say these memories brought as much peace and joy to my heart as they did sadness.
