Pope Francis was moved to embrace a tearful abandoned girl at a university in Manila after she asked why God allows children to become prostitutes.

For someone who holds the highest position in the Roman Catholic religion, someone that believers claim to have the closest relationship with God himself, one would expect him to have a sagely answer, but alas.

I could almost hear the excuses from the religious apologetics; "Free will," they say. As one of the commenters in the article (named faithandstrength) points out. "God didn't create us like robots." To which I say; and yet he punishes us for not acting as such. He punishes us for acting out of our own free will that you claim he gave us. Moreover, you people keep saying that God has a plan for each and everyone of us. If that’s the case, then either his plans might as well involve having children become prostitutes or that he’s not as omnipotent as you people claim him to be since he failed to see or even prevent the children from becoming prostitutes.
