i had an idea but idk its a little out there. dipper is smart, but i was like him once and i think he’d get burnt out fast. mabel has been shown to be smarter than she lets on, as well as curious and interested in the strange and unusual.

relativity falls where mabel fell into the portal and dipper had to clean up and run the shack. mabel would adventure around space & time, surprisingly making lots of friends. theres a little short comic about how mabel went to the mabel dimension and allied with them to defeat evil mabel, so i think she’d be really good at making allies wherever she goes. also i’d really like to see mabel jumping over some frog dude as she runs from the time police.

dipper would be stuck at home, trying so hard to bring her back, while running the mystery shack, trying to balance all of these things and it overwhelms him to the point where he becomes a shut in, and nearly like a cryptid or urban legend he’d read about.

Hewwo!! System with a decent amount of fictives responding to an open question about names that was literally just posted!!! We’re gonna use a couple people in our system as examples of how we’ve solved the whole fusion/splitroject which name do I go by problem.

Edelweiss- a fusion of Edelgard from FE3H, Weiss Schnee from RWBY, and Daenerys Targaryen from Game of Thrones. She chose a name that combined two of her existing names to primarily go by but will answer to any of them!

Nikki, who has actually sent some confessions in on this account before, is a fusion of Nikki from Shining Nikki and Hatsune Miku the vocaloid. Since she identifies more with being Nikki than with being Miku she pretty much exclusively goes by Nikki unless she’s talking to other vocaloids

And Ophelia! Val is Ophelia from Fire emblem fates, Leanne from Fire Emblem Path of Radiance & Radiant Dawn, and Emily from Hazbin Hotel, because this system is a nightmare /lh. Leanne goes by all 3 names equally and really likes it when we refer to valen by multiple names at the same time when talking about valen.
