Fairy Tale Ninja AU (Snippet{Ver. 1})

In a beautiful green forest, small and fluffy creatures are eating the food given by mother nature. Their peaceful dining for lunch was soon coming to an end as some sort of vortex appeared above under the leaves of the tall trees. “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!”, screams were coming from the ninja as they fell from the vortex. They groan in pain as they land on the grassy ground. “Owww… What the heck happened?” Jay asked as he slowly sits up. The rest do the same, they soon realize that they each are out of their ninja gi and wearing completely different clothing. The blink for a few more moments as they stand on their feet. Cole seems to be a werewolf with a black sleeveless, buttoned shirt and dark brown leather pants. His black soft hair grew about 2 inches longer and is barefoot. Nya was wearing a white shirt under a light pink tuxedo, thin black pants and fancy black shoes. Her hair tied into a bun with a golden accessory over her bun. Lloyd was wearing all green leathered clothing, with a green hat with a red feather stuck on it. Zane was wearing a white shirt under a dark brown tuxedo and pants with black fancy shoes. He was also disguised as a human but still a nindroid, just unable to show it. Jay was dressed like a pirate with a striped white and blue shirt with dark blue pants. And finally Kai, who wore a short red dress with long sleeves but cut around the shoulders. A small red hood was over his head and has snow white stockings with clean black shoes.

The others snickered as they see Kai in a short dress, except for Cole, who was blushing madly at the view. As for Kai he blushes in embarrassment, “Why is everyone looking at me?!” Nya giggles along with Jay. Zane looks around the forest and then turns back to his friends, “I believe Kai is right. We should be focusing more about where we are instead of what he is wearing.” Lloyd nods in agreement. “But what about what WE are wearing?” Jay asks. Then, they all look at their own clothing while Kai calms himself. “Hm. Whatever we’re wearing shouldn’t be a problem. But why would the villain we were facing send us to this specific place?” Nya questions with many thoughts in her head. “Maybe there’s some place nearby with people. We can ask them where we are!” Cole replies. Zane nods, “Scanning for any villages or towns nearby…”

He turns his whole body, scanning for what he’s searching for. Zane soon stops and points in front of him, “I sense a path. That should lead us to a town, if not, a village.” “Then let's get moving. We don’t know if this place has a time difference than in Ninjago.”, Lloyd states. They all nod and begin to walk in the direction Zane pointed them to.

They finally reach the path that should lead to a village. “So where do you think we are?” Cole asks slowly. The others shrug as an answer. The, costume party, ninjas continue to walk silently wandering around the beautiful, lush green forest.

Fuck this fuck this nobody’s gonna know what I’m talking about but House of Hollow + TMNT AU (mild spoilers for HOH):

Starring Leo as Grey--mostly regular Leo, with just a dash of Rise for that performer’s flair to make him a star. Ruthless, brilliant, will do whatever is necessary to keep his brother’s state. Found holding a sword when the Hamato siblings are recovered on the same New York street where they mysteriously disappeared.

Raph as Vivi--punk rocker rebel, always fighting back, self-medicating in all the wrong ways.

Iris’s character would probably be split between Donnie and Mikey, the two younger Hamato brothers left in their more glamorous sibling’s wake. Donnie for the more skeptical scientist side while Mikey is the one who can’t help believing, especially not when his beloved biggest brother disappears.

Tyler could be April, Casey, or Karai--they all have characters traits to fit the bill and the role as a family outsider who’s strange in their own way, although Casey or Karai are probably closer to the HOH personality.

Tang Shen is Cate--blessed to have her boys back, even if she can’t help thinking something’s wrong, and has been wrong for a very long.

Hamato Yoshi (Gabe) definitely knows something is wrong...or rather, knew.

And now a figure in a shiny metal mask with a hidden face and sharp, sharp claws has come looking for them...

The Hamato brothers have strange gifts and the power to draw the eye--or disappear like ninja, like ghosts. They look like normal boys, beautiful boys--but their once-brown eyes are black, and their hair is tinted strange, bright colors that can’t be dyed away. Cut them just right and you could swear they have another layer of skin, one made of green scales.

Over time however, Splinter had drifted away from them more and more, being too attached to mindless television to even look at them anymore. Leo seeks to change this, but once faced with troubling truth, he runs away to where the wild things are.

In this au, instead of being mutated directly into teens, the turtles mutate as young children. Splinter raises them alone until they're about 7, when they meet April O'Neil, an aspiring reporter looking for a good scoop to jumpstart her career. A little family of mutants living in the sewers might be the perfect story, if only she didn't up loving them like her own family.

I have exactly 42 fandoms, if I'm counting right. Below you'll find all 42 fandoms listed. Under those fandoms, you'll find a list of 42 AU's. I'll accept 1 request per fandom and one request per AU. For example, if someone requests KHR and mermaids, for example, I'll cross out both KHR and Mermaids and neither the fandom nor the AU can be requested for anymore. Aye! I’m Yasur. Currently a college student studying art and animation. At my heart I tell stories and have used just about every medium to do so, writing/music/ and most notably illustrations. I love digital painting/ illustration and use my art to make cinematic pieces that tell stories.

Ninjago: Neon Warfare is a years long 2-part fan-project of mine written entirely in screenplay format. It’s a sequel to season 11 and deals with the aftermath of Zane’s reign as the Emperor when his past leaks into his home realm. His status, relationships, and health are put in jeopardy.

Aus:

Ninjago 2510: My cinematic universe where many of my stories and ocs reside in (most notably Neon Warfare and Let’s Play Pretend.) It’s relatively canon-adjacent meaning all the stories and lore should fit in canon.

Let’s Play Pretend: After Crystalized, Lloyds destructive nature finally takes over. Can he be stopped and brought to his senses, or will he be lost to suppressed side of himself?

Golden-Ice-Emperor-Zane: The Ice Emperor is infused by golden power and the Overlords influence. Co-creator: @diisdoodles

Spellbound: A villain casts a spell on all of ninjago and sends them into a world where they believe they are fairy tale characters. Though one individual slipped through the cracks and must make the ninja remember who they are, or all that was is lost.

Fantasy Au: Story that focuses on the beloved Prince Lloyd. When he finds out that he’s been lied to and his father is up to no good, he vows to take over the kingdom for himself, with the aid of the Shining Stallion: Jorge

60 years: Zane tries to survive on his own after losing his memories. On a journey of self-discovery and a search for purpose, Zane gains and loses many families and homes. All the while he dreams of an Ice man with a great big staff, and uses those dreams to enhance his own icy abilities.

Julien and the Prism of Imperium: How a young Julien got ahold of a source of power that he’d eventually use to create his only son. Fast forward decades later, the one who loved and sacrificed themselves to help Julien has survived as a nindroid. They have created a nindroid empire underground, and Zane learns he has not one but 24 other siblings. A certain Cryptor reawakens, seeking to destroy Zane’s new found family.

Sure! It's more of an idea for a fan story though, I don't know if it counts as an AU or not?

Basically it's this idea where the ninja get stuck in some fairy tales, some forget who they were and some don't, and they have to escape. It was mostly born out of me enjoying the concept of Snake Jay and wanting to play around with it so I thought of Jay & Nya being stuck in Beauty and the Beast.

Obviously they don't follow the story at all and Nya would be the one to forget just because I think that would be interesting. Just Nya preparing to fight an evil beast only for it to turn out to be a sad snake man. The concept is fun to me.

I might turn it into a fic or something? I'm not sure, also I have plans for the other ninja (such as Lloyd forgetting and being placed in the role of 'evil warlock'). I haven't fully fleshed it out but I mainly want to do it because fairy tales are fun and I love placing the ninja in random shenanigans.

Kingdom of Light and Shadow

A notably different Kingdom Hearts AU film adaptation idea. Tagline: There is another side to every fairy tale

Characters:

Sky Dorman- A fun-loving and slightly lazy teen who loves childish games of pretend with his friends, often sparring with toy swords; listens to the fairy tales because he loves a good story; when he finds himself with a legendary weapon in a world dominated by fairy tales, he will learn that a lot of risk, responsibility and sacrifice comes with the fun and adventure of a heroic destiny; gathers many friends to his side with his friendly demeanor and an effortless, relaxed charisma; while he would rather not take things seriously, he fights for those he cares for with a ferocious vigor; nearly lets himself get consumed by darkness so he can close the Door to Darkness with his Keyblade, but Kari pulls him to safety, unwittingly leading to the creation of twilit reflections of themselves, who will appear in the sequel

Rex Stone- A mature yet competitive teen who shares a friendly rivalry with his best friend Sky, and is on the unrequited side of a love triangle against him with Hikari; unlike Sky’s more entertained view of fairy tales, he believes in some significance, and believes that he has what it takes to bear the responsibility; he is surprised, disappointed, and envious when he finds Sky is the one who gets the legendary Keyblade, and he tries to prove himself by taking on the darkness head-on; he pays the price for his arrogance and is turned into a zombie-like Heartless, enslaved by Maleficent, but still struggles to regain control of his body to help Sky and Kari

Hikari “Kari” Heart- Teenage girl with a lost past, she is drawn to the fairy tales, as she finds some strange connection to the hazy dreams she experiences regularly; she shares an unbreakable bond with Sky and Rex, both of whom have feelings for her, though Kari loves Sky; separated from Sky and Rex when the darkness smothers their home, Kari finds herself in Traverse Town, having washed ashore on a pier and having been brought to town to recuperate; she goes on her own adventure when she wanders into a rabbit hole that leads her to Wonderland, where she meets (and loses track of) Alice and discovers that the spirits of darkness cannot directly touch her due to her inner light

Mickey- A talking (non-anthropomorphic) mouse who serves as the king of the land of Disney, home to all sorts of talking animals; having experienced and learned a lot, he offers advice to Sky and Kari; leads his people in aiding Sky and Kari in assaulting the Hollow Bastion, and sets out to help find Rex when he vanishes at the end

Donald- A talking duck with command of vast magic powers; he also suffers from a short temper and recurring misfortune, and he desires the respect that few people seem to give him

Goofy- A talking dog often seen garbed in battle armor, as he is the leader of Disney Town’s royal knights (consisting primarily of talking dogs like himself); he can be a bit of a klutz and have trouble connecting dots, but he is loyal and dedicated, and he always fights for his friends to the end

Pluto- An excitable and loyal talking dog who serves as a steed and retainer to Mickey; leads Sky to Disney Town after the boy saves him from the spirits of Darkness with his Keyblade

Restorers of Light- A resistance unit fighting against the darkness; its numbers comprise refugees from the lands smothered in darkness; some are familiar Disney characters, others hail from Final Fantasy, and there are a few unidentified or unique members

Squall Leonhart- Mercenary who has become the leader of a resistance unit fighting against the darkness; stoic and professional, he hides his emotions and feelings of regret and loss for everything he feels as though he failed to protect Yuffie Kisaragi- Ninja whose home and family were lost to the darkness; she stole to get by until she was caught by Squall, who took her under his wing Hercules- Demigod ideal hero whom Sky looks up to; he tells Sky that there is more to being a hero than daring feats Aladdin- Street rat who fell in love with a princess; along with his monkey best friend, he sought out the Cave of Wonders for a magic lamp that Jafar desired so he could save Agrabah and Jasmine from the darkness, and managed to defeat Jafar with the help of Sky and the Genie of the Lamp The Beast- A prince cursed for his selfish and cold nature, Beast has gone through years of self-hating torment; when he met Belle, who inspired him to be a better person, he faced his inner demons and found hope again; fought his way through thousands of miles of darkness-smothered wastelands to reach Hollow Bastion and rescue Belle; picks Sky up at his lowest point and helps him fight through adversity in the final act

Ariel- Open-minded and fiery mermaid princess of the underwater kingdom of Atlantica; she is fascinated with the world above water and quickly befriends Sky and Kari, despite her father’s disapproval

Maleficent- Mistress of All Evil and apparent main antagonist; Faerie Queen of the Unseelie Moors, she desires dominion over all of the world, and uses the forces of darkness in her bid for power

Jafar- Vizier of Agrabah who uses the darkness to invade and arrange a coup; he also desires the power of a genie to grant his wishes, so he tries to have a lowly thief steal the magic lamp from the Cave of Wonders; successfully steals the lamp from Aladdin

Captain Hook- Pirate captain of The Jolly Roger who is allied with Maleficent and the powers of darkness, although he does not like the darkness so much

Ursula- Sea Witch aligned with Maleficent, she desires to overthrow King Triton and become ruler of the seas; she attacked the Restorers of Light on their way across the sea to reach Hollow Bastion, hoping to destroy or capture the resistance and the Keyblade wielder, and later tricked Ariel into allowing her to steal King Triton’s trident, although she met her end when Sky and Kari helped Ariel retrieve the trident and use it against her

Princesses of Heart- As Kari puts it, real fairy tale princesses (and Alice); with their pure and kind hearts exuding true light, they have a natural resistance to the powers of darkness; Maleficent desires to sacrifice the seven maidens to gain ultimate power to remake the world in her image. (Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Belle, Jasmine, Alice Pleasance, and Kari Heart)

Heartless- Individuals whose bodies were not smothered by the darkness; they retained their physical form, but were warped into horrific parodies, enslaved by the darkness; if their hearts are strong enough, their spirits can resist following the darkness’ commands, or break off entirely to become phantoms of light

Akumu Blackstar- The other main villain, manipulating events from behind the scenes and leading Maleficent on in her bid for power; appears infrequently as a strange man who tells of the legends surrounding the plot, only to be revealed in the last quarter of the film as the mastermind behind the invasion of darkness; he personally killed Kari’s mother with a dagger; his objective is to open the door to the world of darkness, and while Sky managed to close it with help from Rex, Kari and Mickey, Akumu seemed to get what he wanted before leaving, opening the way for the sequel; a stand-in for Ansem, Seeker of Darkness, cutting Xehanort out of the saga

Themes:

This story plays with various archetypes and tropes from fairy tales and “Hero’s Journey”-type stories.  Rex believes himself to be the one with the great destiny, but his efforts to achieve it lead him down a dark path.  Sky values the stories as entertainment and wonder, but when he is thrust into a story of his own, he learns that a lot of responsibility comes with such a destiny. Other tropes are addressed, such as those common with fairy tale princesses.  While she does need to be saved on a few occasions, Kari refuses to simply “wait for her hero to save her”.  She even joins the final battle in a leadership role as she is convinced to face her destiny as the princess of Radiant Garden.

So I have a problem...

@kittydemon9000 @the-ninjago-girl I have 2 different versions of the Fairy Tale Ninja AU. Let me explain the way they go, but either way it’s just gonna end up with Kai being tortured because why not? ANYWAYS:

Plot 1: The ninja get sent to the realm not knowing where they are. They manage to find a village and Kai gets flirty comments so Nya and Cole go overprotective mode- especially when Kai gets kidnapped by these pro-bandits or somthin. They find Kai they leave and he explains that they were trying to sell him to some King or whatever (still working that part out). They get supplies and maybe someone might let them stay at a hotel? Again, don’t know- Then this giant half-beast guy comes in with his army, take out the ninja, keeps Kai for himself, thinking he could use for whatever his plan is? And to make Kai suffer. Kai tries to help the others escape but sadly fails. A bit later the ninja find their own way to escape. The ninja soon face the half-beast guy but, plot twist (or this is expected) Kai is being controlled and the ninja are forced to fight him- They beat him, Cole and Kai kiss (lets honor the ship of the Big Bad Wolf Boi with the Red Riding Hood Hothead), the half-beast guy loses and they win! And also they find their way back to Ninjago.

Plot 2: The ninja get sent to a realm with their memories wiped by a villain they faced in Ninjago (who also was the one who sent them there) and made them think they were these certain fairy tale characters, playing their role. Zane meets Jay and they felt a familiar connection. Then, Nya comes in the picture, because Zane was working for Nya, so yeh- They remember who they are {the ninja also wear neclaces with small stones on them with their elemental symbols on it too, it also holds their powers} so they break the stones they get their powers back and go to find the others. They eventually find Lloyd flyin’ around, they try to make him remember who he is, he eventually remembers and breaks his necklace (he can still fly btw). Then, we go to where Kai and Cole meet. They meet in a forest they chat and do the same thing for about 2 or 3 days. Cole bumps into the others and they do the same thing they did to Lloyd. Cole gets his memory back and breaks the neckalce. Fortunatley, Cole shows the others where to meet up with Kai but then Jay sees Kai with ‘Cole’. They see it was a copycat and Cole gets hella jelous. Nya also gets upset that her brother is being tricked by this copycat- They explain that they’re actually the villain from before and is making sure Kai stays in the Fairy Tale realm while the others are forced to get sent back to Ninjago without him. And cue the villain monologue... He explains there’s a ball the next day at night and he’s planning on taking Kai there and making him ‘his’. Unfortunatley, Cole gets beat up and the others were too busy helping him, so the villain asks Kai out to the ball. The ninja make a plan and go there especially since Nya is also royalty in that realm and see Kai alone, waiting for the copycat. Cole goes to him right before the other ‘Cole’ comes back and they try to tell Kai that they are the real Cole. The fake tries to tell him he’s the guy who he met a few days ago and ‘loves him’. While the real one tells him about Kai, not Red Riding Hood (or just Red for short) and tells him he loves him more than his copycat. And, activate the bootiful music, while the LAVASHIP HAPPEN!!!! Kai gets his memory back, but the villain laughs and tells them that Kai didn’t have a neclace. They panic once they realize it and the guy snaps his fingers and Kai is in now in pain.... Yes- Kai’s powers activate and turned out to corrupt him and are uncontrollable. The villain realizes he made a mistake while Kai burns him alive. The others try to save the people in the ballroom and put out the fires Kai caused. They get him to control his powers and he calms down. They go back to Ninjago the next day, The End-

Fairy tale AU! aka I watched Enchanted as a kid and it permanently altered my brain chemistry

I've only really figured out a handful of characters but the beauty of this thing is it can fit as many characters as I can imagine, so basically it's an infinite plot bunny and I love it <33 (also if anyone has pitches for other characters/ideas please please please send them 👀👀)

The initial idea was just dragon!Rodimus because obviously, but it grew from there. He’s the prince of a ruined kingdom who was cursed as a child to transform into a dragon each morning and change back each night a la Beauty and the Beast or Shrek if you have taste

Then there’s Ratchet as a piss poor damsel in distress and Drift as a knight (really he’s a ninja, but what is a ninja if not a non-western knight who can do sick flips?) who embarks on a quest to save Ratchet but kinda just ends up in a polycule because Rodimus is bad at being a dragon and Ratchet is bad at sitting back and letting other people solve his problems!

The central plot of the AU though, the thing that most of the other stuff revolves around is, of course, Orion Pax and Megatronus trying to overthrow a corrupt king. Because they have an MO and also I’m very weak for their relationship dynamic during that era of their lives. Orion is actually the lost prince Optimus who disappeared as a newborn, but since he was raised by Alpha Trion rather than the corrupt king and grew up some regular kid in a library, he’s way too aware of all the ways in which the crown sucks ass so he wants no part in all this “Prince Optimus” bullshit. And Megatronus is a gladiator and totally not treasonous poet wanted by the crown whose help he enlists in overthrowing his father. Hijinks ensue etc etc

And again, I can map as many characters as I want into this!! Infinite possibilities at my fingertips and all of them deeply driven by the sense of craving something you cannot possibly have because the barriers of society disallow it. And also men shirtless, that’s equally as important as the first thing. I love fairy tale settings so fucking much <33
