“Yeah,” Gray chimed in, leaning against a nearby pillar with a smirk. “What’s the rush, Natsu? They’ve only been on, what, one date?”

Y/n cleared their throat, trying not to shrink under the weight of the guild’s collective curiosity. “This will be our second date,” they said, holding up the box of pastries like a peace offering. “I brought these as a thank you. For, uh, last time.”

A collective groan rippled through the guild as they braced themselves for one of Elfman’s usual rants about what it means to be a “real man.” Y/n smiled nervously, not entirely sure how to respond to that, but luckily, Mirajane swooped in, her usual gentle smile on her face.

“Now, now, Elfman, let’s not scare them off,” she said, giving Y/n a wink. “Erza would never forgive us.”

At the mention of Erza, a collective shift of focus seemed to occur, as if everyone suddenly remembered the person who would, without a doubt, not be pleased if they scared off her date. Y/n was grateful for the reminder; the last thing they wanted was to cause trouble.

“Where is Erza, anyway?” Lucy asked, scanning the room.

As if on cue, the doors to the upstairs creaked open, and Erza herself stepped into the guildhall. She wore a simple but elegant outfit, her scarlet hair falling loosely over her shoulders. The moment she laid eyes on Y/n, a soft smile spread across her face, though there was a clear warning in her gaze as she scanned the room, daring anyone to cause trouble.

“Y/n,” she greeted warmly, walking towards them with purpose. “I’m glad you made it.”

Y/n smiled back, instantly feeling more at ease now that Erza was with them. “Of course. I wouldn’t miss it.”

But before they could leave, Natsu darted between them, eyes wide with excitement. “Hey, wait a minute! What’s your plan for the date? You better not take her somewhere boring.”

“A-Actually,” Y/n stammered, feeling the pressure of the guild’s collective stares once more. “I thought we’d start with a nice lunch at that new restaurant near the river. I heard it’s quiet and has a great view.”

Natsu pouted, clearly wanting more details, but Happy quickly swooped in, grinning mischievously. “What if you guys go on a magic battle date? You could spar while eating cake!”

Y/n's eyes widened in horror at the thought, but Erza chuckled, shaking her head. “I think we’ll leave the sparring for another time, Happy.”

Gajeel, who had been silently observing the interaction from his seat, finally spoke up, his voice gruff. “I don’t get it. What’s a person like him doing with someone like Titania?”

Levy elbowed him sharply. “Gajeel!”

But Y/n, to their credit, only smiled, though their nerves were still apparent. “Erza’s incredible, and I’m lucky she even gives me the time of day. I just… want to make her happy.”

For a moment, the guild fell silent. Y/n’s words seemed to resonate with everyone, even the usually tough-natured Gajeel, who grunted in approval.

and yeah that'll be Erza for sure

She isn't exactly...controlling she just has to make sure at every second of every minute of every hour your safe

So this means she's gonna be walking behind you at most points (Gotta make sure theres no sneak attacks)

To the average person it may seem a little drastic but no this a normal occurrence

An average date is usually and sadly just hanging out in the guild hall splitting any kind of desert that's served that evening

At first she is confused, but after thinking about your personality and the way you carry yourself it's clear you grew up in higher society

She can understand running away for a new life and to escape the past, after all that's kinda what she was doing for awhile

After the shock wears off she'd probably ask if you want to talk about it, if you do she'll listen and if you don't she'll respect that and drop the subject

It definitely won't affect how she see's you, after all Fairy Tail is full of misfits from all different backgrounds, so why would she judge you

If anyone does judge you about it she will shut them down real quick, saying that if they have a problem with you they have have problem with her

And if you wish for her to help you keep the secret she'll gladly make sure that it stays between you too

For Erza love is something she’s secretly dreamed of. She loves her guild like family, but the idea of finding that special someone is like an itch that just pops up from time to time. She thinks about it once, it’s all she can think about for the rest of the day.

When the two of you started dating, she was over the moon. However, she tried her best to hide her elation as best she could…she failed. Seriously, try asking her out to dinner and watch as she tries to hide the stupid smile on her face while denying it’s even there.

Sweets, she loves them, especially anything with strawberries. Strawberry cake is her favorite thing to munch on, and you’re the only person in the world she’s willing to share her food with. Thing is, you don’t get your own fork, she’ll feed you. No, it’s not negotiable.

Erza is more than aware of her own beauty, why else would she have so many outfits that she looks so good in? So expect her to take you clothes shopping with her to get a second opinion, and she wants honest feedback. She’s not the type of woman who wants you to lie and spare her feelings.

Erza is not afraid to be physical with you. Despite being confident in many aspects of her life, Erza will not initiate your first kiss. She’ll hint at it, but actually being the one to make the first move might make her explode. However, when you eventually do have your first kiss she absolutely melts, in this state she feels more vulnerable than shes ever been, just taking in this moment as her face grows redder and redder with every passing second.

This girl has been through a lot. She’s tough, but talking about the past takes time. When she’s ready, just listen and comfort her, because she’ll do the same for you if she has too.

♡ gray fullbuster -> he's calm and reliable; he'll check the route before the trip and always have a map on hand to make sure you're going the right way. overall a 9/10 experience. -1 point because he doesn't make time to stop and look at trinkets >:(

*this is if you're traveling just with him though. if you add basically anyone else, including natsu, cana, loke, or lucy, gray will become completely distracted and you might never get to your destination.

♡ erza scarlet -> she'll get you to your destination. you might obtain life-altering trauma, bury a body, and become a local eldtritch legend, but you will get to your destination. 8/10 if you don't mind coming out of the experience Changed.

♡ mirajane strauss -> this can go one of two ways. if you're with other people, mira goes into Big Sister Mode, and you will get to your destination with minimal shenanigans. she does factor in Trinket Time, so overall a 10/10 experience. if it's just mira, though, prepare to go on a spiritual rollercoaster. no plans, no tickets, no maps, just vibes. mira likes to explore new towns and cities without worrying about a schedule or keeping track of other people. she has disappeared for a week straight to just wander around fiore. it's about the journey, not the destination, y'know?

♡ lucy heartfilia -> this poor girl isn't directionally challenged but she is financially challenged. will accidentally spend your train money on a cute necklace in whatever town you're stopping in. she's a good travel companion, willing to socialize with the locals and find out the best sight-seeing and restaurant spots. allocates a bit too much time for Trinkets. you'll probably arrive at your destination with empty pockets but full hearts (and shopping bags.) a 7.5/10, could be higher or lower depending on how much you value your wallet.

♡ natsu dragneel -> just give up. if he doesn't scoop you up in his arms as happy flies the two of you in the completely wrong direction, natsu's probably wandering off without you. gets distracted by everything: food, shiny objects, bickering people. you're working double time to get to your destination in one piece AND not lose natsu in the process. a 4/10 that can be upgraded to a 6 or 7 if you buy him a fire-resistant leash backpack.

♡ sting eucliffe -> surprisingly, he's the one coordinating your trip. all cheery smiles and lighthearted jokes, he makes it look easy. you don't even know what train you're getting on or how long the ride is, you just trust sting. he's charming everyone: the train conductor, the old ladies at the market stalls, the young ticket seller at the station. all of that completely disappears once you get on the train and sting is reduced to a nauseous puddle of dragon slayer. 10/10 experience as long as he doesn't throw up on you <2

♡ gajeel levy and pantherlily -> where's gajeel? you don't know. he was supposed to be at the station half an hour ago, he won't answer his lacrima, he's gone off the map. don't worry, though, levy and pantherlily will keep you company. 2/10 for gajeel. the worst part is, he shows up at your destination before you! he didn't even take the train or fly with lily! he's just... there somehow.
