Here are some Theories that were Posted 8 years ago theorizing about Doug Dimmadome, Vicky, and Crocker

This post is not to hate on villainous characters and I actually like them. I also enjoy entertaining stories

These theories try to address an unanswered questions the original Fairly Oddparents series. Also, I mentioned one of my previous posts that Vicky was arrested in "Microphony" and Crocker was arrested in "Information Stupor Highway" and there is no explanation given in their subsequent appearances of why they are free. Also, speaking of which in the "The Battle of the Big Wand" Crocker and AJ along with Marcus were riding together with no context. I am wondering what their relationship is now? Though I do like the fact that villains don't have to be hurting others 24/7.

A lot of people think that everything has to be black and white all of the time and villains can't show a softer side. Although just because a villain shows a softer side doesn't mean their misdeeds should be excused.

So the theory is if I combined all of the responses is that Doug Dimmadome pay to free both Crocker and Vicky from their sentences to do some shady business Jorgen (who can be morally gray) sometimes or the Pixies instructed them to do so he could try to keep fairies prevalent.

Also, I don't think Doug Dimmadome is intimidated by Vicky as he wasn't bother by her in their interaction in "Engine Blocked" and he then enslaved her mind in "Moooving Day" with mind controlled milk and

This could still be valid in "A New Wish" as people assume that Doug Dimmadome is dead and is therefore out of the picture and mostly focus on his son's evilness and his grandson's redemption and excludes him, but Pepperlyn Monroosevelt was an undead fairy and this might lead to a future plot line where Marcus has to hunt an undead Doug Dimmadome.

Did Butch Hartman contradicted his works as isn't it against the "Da Rules" for Timmy to wish to win the lottery unless he asked an Anti-Fairy to do it? So did Timmy become rich because in "Channel Chasers" he did look rich unless Timmy has a double life.

Chester works in a fast food industry. Will this be a plot point if he appears in A New Wish?

I want to speculate that after AJ worked for the government for sometime and then he ended up finding the Galax Institute. I think people should talk about AJ more as he is a morally gray character hunting for paranormal beings and we do know a good bit about his backstory and childhood.

Hey everyone~ I'm back, and this time with a new fixation!

Long story short, I've discovered the new Fairly Oddparents reboot, absolutely loved it and was inspired to make this AU idea for the show! With a slight reimagine/redesign of the characters as well. And the first one I decided to do was Peri!

Here's some more info about my AU:

Fairly Odd Parents AU/Rewrite

Au Name: FairlyOdd Brother

Summary:

Perri (previously known as Poof) recently graduated from Fairy Godparents School and is eager to start granting Wishes for his very own godchild! Only problem is that with his lack of experience Jorgen is weary of giving him an assignment and keeps finding excuses/reasons to not give him a godkid. Realizing it might be a 1,000 years before they give him a chance to be a Fairy Godparent, Perri decides he needs to be a little bold and perhaps, bend Da Rules, to get his foot in the door so to speak. And his answer comes to him from a new neighbor in his human home, a family with a sweet shy 10 year old girl who is absolutely miserable. Perhaps Perri might be able to offer this girl a little comfort and fun as her new Fairy Godbrother!?

(Basically the same premise of the show, except Perri’s first godchild is Hazel, and through a technicality in the rule book, becomes her god brother instead of her godparent.)

ALSO please note this AU is more of a slight reimagine of the original show, meaning I did tweaked / changed some of the characters personality to match the new story I made for them. Nothing majorly different, but again just a heads up before you read on. Hope you like it~

Physical Description: 

Basically the same as the show's design, I slightly changed her shirt to become a sweater with a turtleneck. I sorta did that by accident when drawing her, but I ended up really liking the look and thought it matched the semi new personality I gave her so I kept it. 

Personality: 

-Hazel is a very sweet and kind person with some quirky interest, more or less similar to the canon version of her in the show

-The big difference between my Hazel and the shows is that she’s much more shy and awkward than in the actual show

-Feeling very out of place in a new city/school with her brother off at college and her parents working much more than usual has left the poor girl more shy and anxiety ridden than usual. 

-She still likes rocks and manga like in the show, but in her old school she was bullied and made fun of for her interest, so she’s more shy/embarrassed to admit what she likes

-But she still tries to be a good person and do the right thing whenever she can, just again she hindered by her shyness and fear of being bullied and made fun of, just wants to fit in and be an average kid

Other fun facts:

-Was bullied a lot in her last school, her parents and teacher tried to help her but despite their best effort it did little to stop the problem. It wasn’t until her older brother Anthony started to walk her to and from school that helped deter the other bullies from picking on her. Though Anthony meant well for helping his little sister, his method of helping her did little to teach Hazel how to actually stand up for herself and how to deal with bullies in general. Now without him around and her parents busy with their work, she is unintentionally thrown into a new situation with no social skills on how to defend herself from other people or how to even make any friends (she didn’t really have any of those back home). But perhaps with the help of a certain periwinkle fairy she might be able to learn to socialize and how to defend herself from bullies, and hopefully become just an average kid with friends and learn to thrive in the new city. 

-Essentially Peri is the one to teach and encourage her to be more bold, as he’s the one to really get her to make wishes freely and to try new things and to teach her to not be afraid of anyone or anything, slowly with his help she becomes more and more like the canon version of Hazel in the show. As Peri ends up being a good role model to her.   

Short summary of how she ended up with Peri:

Moving into a new city feeling all alone. Since her parents are excited to be here with both of them finally getting their dream jobs, Hazel tries to act ‘mature’ about the situation and tries to put on a brave face for her parents. But in reality is having a hard time in her new environment, as she finds herself in a new school and too shy to make friends, let alone talk to anyone. The only person talking to her is Dev who is supposedly ‘famous’ or something. (she doesn’t recognize him and doesn’t really acknowledge him, much to Dev’s surprise). 

If that wasn’t bad enough her parents are working much more at their new jobs and have essentially left her to be watched by the neighbor next door, a strange though friendly guy named Peri. She and Peri get along okay, and she’s mostly pushed through with the reminder that her brother will be visiting this weekend, and surely once she talks to him she’ll know everything will be just fine.

But things fall apart when being watched by Peri she gets a call from her brother stating due to the weather he won’t be able to visit this week and won’t be able to come up until at least his next break, Which is a couple months away! Distraught by this news Hazel prepares to pack up and leave to try and somehow get to her brother on her own, only to be stopped by her ‘babysitter’ who tries to reason with her and talk her out of it. Despite his usually persuasive ways she’s simply too upset to think straight and in a fit of frustration wishes she could just fly to Anthony. Which, similar to the actual show's first episode, causes Peri to turn her into a fly!  

The part of the episode happens similar to the original first episode, with Peri trying to get Hazel home before her parents come back from their work. He eventually does but again similar to the first episode Hazel gets stuck in a venus fly trap as Peri tries to get her to wish to turn back into her original form. After the talk with the ant Hazel realizes her mistake and finally wishes to become human again before her parents could discover what went wrong.

After the commotion, Hazel goes to Peri’s apartment to question who he is and what the heck just happened. Peri tries to deny it but during their conversation he realizes that technically speaking…..Hazel did have good and caring parents. They weren’t the reason why she was sad and miserable, she was miserable because her brother wasn’t with her anymore and she desperately missed him. And technically speaking, there was no rule or need to ask Jorgen or the fairy council to become a kids Godbrother. He only needed their permission to be a Godparent. And besides……..he more than understood the feeling of missing a big brother.

After talking and realizing just how miserable this poor girl was, Peri decides to take a gamble and formally introduce himself to her as her new Fairy Godbrother! In similar fashion to how he introduced himself to Dev in the original show. Making a promise to take Hazel from being a shy and scared girl into a brave and bold kid with lots of fun and magic along the way. 

Hazel, after the smoke and glitter shimmers away for the first time, feels pure joy at the sight, and for the first time feels confident and even excited for the future, and what this city and the people have to offer her!

Feelings on FOPANW S1 Finale

Okay so the finale dropped…….that sure was a finale….Alright, let’s discuss this in full detail. Spoilers for Fairly Oddparents A New Wish finale, DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN IT OR CAUGHT UP YET!

Okay so this finale is a big mixture for me for a few reasons, to which I’ll explain in detail of listing out the good and bad, before then listing out personal thoughts and what I think they’ll do for S2(if we get one, to which Y’ALL WE GOTTA LOCK IN AND REWATCH THIS SERIES IN NOVEMBER ON NETFLIX OKAY??)

The good~✨:

▪️I absolutely love that they brought back most of the new characters Hazel’s befriend and seen throughout the season come back to help Hazel in taking back fairy world. ▪️ANTI-COSMO AND ANTI-WANDA ARE BACK! It was definitely a short time, but I’m just glad they reappeared and them with Cosmo and Wanda was so funny. I love them exposing their weaknesses like Cosmo being afraid of big words or Wanda not standing seeing someone read a book upside down. ▪️THANK GOD DEV WASN’T TURN EVIL! The boy definitely mess up, but I am happy he listened to Wanda and help out in the end despite the consequences of it. It shows that despite Dev doing all of this to impress his dad, he realizes that his dad not going to change and that he’ll just overlook Dev for other people or things. Plus it nice to see that he didn’t want any the fairies lock up or to blow up, he just wanted to get back at Cosmo, Wanda, and Peri(speaking of him). This definitely marks a great start to his redemption arc that I feel next season will go into more.

▪️You don’t know how much it means to me seeing Peri fricken dying and yet, he’s still worrying about Dev. The fact he still cares about him and just only was strict on the rules because he wanted to do right by Dev..MY HEART AGHHH! THAT’S HIS DAD RIGHT THERE, HIS REAL DAD! I swear they better reunite. Le bad~⚡️:

▪️Dev losing both Peri and his memory of fairies….WHY!? I get punishing him to teach him what he did was wrong, but he recognizes it and also, HE’S NOT GOING TO IF HE DOESN’T REMEMBER WHAT HE DID WRONG! Not to mention that Dev still needs Peri, he still needs a fairygod parent because he’s stuck with a neglectful dad who thinks boots are better than his own kid and doesn’t know how to make friends with him having trust issues! Plus Peri still cares for Dev and I doubt he wanted to give him up! THATS HIS FIRST GODKID, GIVE HIM BACK HIS SON 😭 ▪️The point above gets worse when Hazel could’ve prevented that from happening by including Dev in her wish for her friends to keep their memories of her fairies and magic OR that Dev keeps Peri(which is a two for one sale as he gets both his fairy and memory). I understand Hazel is probably still upset at Dev and does think that he needs to learn a lesson, but she clearly still cares about him. Enough for her to look sad at the end when he gets poofs away and to thank him for doing the right thing. Not to mention now Dev’s growth at the end for realizing he did wrong will disappear and he can’t reflect on himself now to grow from it. ▪️Speaking of memories. So Hazel decided to let Winn, Jasmine, and her brother Anthony keep their memories of all of this. I won’t lie, I am conflicted on this as while I don’t mind too much of Winn and Jasmine to know about her secret as that allows them to join more adventures and develop from there with Hazel now that they know! But…why Anthony? I can understand Hazel wanting to share her cool fairies with him, but girl you got those fairies in the first place BECAUSE he’s away at college. Even if Anthony currently visiting right now and she can have fun with him, he’s still going back to college sweetie. Heck Anthony might not worry too much of needing to visit a lot because now he knows his sister being taken care of by Cosmo and Wanda(which is good thing, but to Hazel, she might be upset to think Anthony will spend less time with her now that she has fairies to fill his role).

Alright, I definitely got that out of my system. Ultimately despite these problems I have with this finale, I still enjoyed it and this season entirely. And I feel like the writers with what they did with Dev wasn’t to be mean spirited of taking away Peri and his memory. I believe they wanted to show Dev starting to reflect on what he has done and grow with realizing his mess up, which is why he even admits that he does deserve this and Hazel agrees. And despite Hazel not including him in the wish or wishing for him to keep Peri, she does still care about him. She’s glad he did the right thing in the end and she does look sad when Dev gets poofed away after being memory wiped. And honestly….this might be good for both of them in terms of being able to rekindle their friendship. Now that Dev won’t remember the the arguments that happen when he had a fairy, it means that his jealousy toward Hazel having Wanda and Cosmo and knowing that Hazel wished to be friends with him(to which he took personally because it seemed like their friendship was based off of just wanting to get something out of him he feels and it’s fake). The only problem is thanks to the memory wipe, we don’t know exactly how much Dev remembers. Does he only remember his fight with Hazel at Founders Day or their fight during his birthday? If the former, then did he forget Hazel being at his birthday? And if not and it’s the latter, then does Dev still remember project H but without the knowledge of Hazel’s fairies? Is he still upset at her for his father paying attention to her? Does he think they’re still friends??? Really the problem is since we’re in the dark of whether we’re getting a season two and we don’t know these details, we’re stuck unsatisfied since there’s clearly more to explore and explain here. But all we can do for now is just wait and watch the show again on Netflix when it drops while spreading word of the series. We can do this and get that season two for everyone! Seriously Netflix you better listen to Peri and greenlit season two.

A lot of people said that a lot of ANW characters are undeveloped and that is why don’t focus on them, but why is there a little ANW content of A.J. and Crocker when we know their families and stories?

Anyway, I am interesting in seeing an interaction between Crocker, Adult AJ, and Marcus. Crocker could demand AJ to give him a better job by saying that he was the one who help him be successful.

I love how Mr. Crocker made a short appearance in the last episode, he's so happy on this picture 😊

Why are they chilling in a car together though?

I thought from the episode "Crock to the future" that all 3 wouldn't get along well. Like Crocker is sitting with a guy who "stole" the prize he deserves and with his former student who is now in charge of him. And those two, I thought, would feel uncomfortable taking him with them because he's an incompetent crazy guy.

One of the earliest episodes from A New Wish that got my attention was "Fearless" because it explored both Jasmine and Hazel's relationship and their characters.

The episode starts with Hazel telling Cosmo and Wanda how Jasmine is coming to her house after school. Hazel comments that she wants for both of them to watch a horror movie the same way she used to with her brother Anthony. Cosmo and Wanda question this a bit as the movie may be too scary for Jasmine but Hazel says that it would be fine.

Here we see that Hazel is in a way trying to project what she used to do with Anthony to her new friendship with Jasmine. She assumes that Jasmine is going to like watching horror movies without having considered if she likes that first. Note that she is doing unintentionally, she isn't being pushy nor anything but it is worth of pointing it out since it what in part drives the plot of the episode.

So Hazel goes to school and tells Jasmine about the film. Jasmine tells her that she doesn't like horror movies and begins to name a number of things that she is really scared of. She is someone who is a bit of scaredy cat, even being scared of things that would be harmless like cheese. She also adds that her family often makes fun of her for getting scared so easily and it is something that bothers her.

This makes Hazel asking for a wish that makes Jasmine ¨fearless¨, as it takes her main big fears out of her. Hazel does this in a way to ¨help¨ Jasmine but is also so they can watch the horror movie together. When Cosmo and Wanda grant the wish, this seems to work, however, they quickly notice that there is another Jasmine outside the classroom and Hazel goes out to figure out what it is.

It turns out that Jasmine's fears weren't sent anywhere after they got taken out from Jasmine, meaning they came to life and now they are going all around the school causing chaos. This is a interesting twist to the premise of what you would expect from these episodes which usually are about the ¨fearless¨ character acts super reckless without their fear as part of them. In this episode the fears manifest themselves in the real world and Hazel has to find a way to defeat them.

Eventually Hazel realizes that she can only defeat the fears if Jasmine faces them herself. She goes to Jasmine and talks to her about this (without revealing the magic part) and highlights how she was able to speak to Hazel without any problem when they first met or how she doesn't have any issues with singing in public. It is a cool scene because it shows how people can fear different things. While some fears can be more social, others can be related to things that look dangerous like spiders or snakes. Hazel tells Jasmine that she is able to overcome her fears, her family could stop bothering about her. Finally Jasmine goes along with the idea and then a sequence of her facing each of her fear plays.

Suddenly Jasmine gets possesed by ¨fear itself¨ and grows a lot in size. The being provokes Hazel, telling her that she tried making the relationship she has Jasmine the same she has with her brother. ¨Fear¨ says that Hazel is afraid of change and she is scared of trying out new things. This aspect is something that a huge part of Hazel's character, as she deals with how things changed so abruptly in her life and she wants for things to stay the same. She wants to repeat things she used to do because that's what she is comfortable with and she gets anxious when she has to step out from that comfort zone.

Hazel admits that she is scared but she is going to try new things with her new friends from now on. This makes the fear disappear and for Jasmine to return to her normal size back. Jasmine asks Hazel if she still wants to watch scary movies, to which she replies by saying that they should do something they both like, showing that she is trying out new things in a way. The episode ends with the two laughing while leaving the gym.

In all, i think this episode does a good job at showing better how Jasmine is as character and how she has different sides to her. She can be energetic and sociable but she also gets scared of a lot of things easily. Some aspects from her family get revealed as well, which adds more to her character. The episode explores well how Hazel is still struggling with moving to a new city and how she misses her Anthony, something that was established in the first episode ¨Fly¨. In a way she tries to make Jasmine something that she is not in an attempt to repeat what she used to do with her brother.

It is an episode that is quite creative in the execution of its premise and it develops both characters really well, making it one of my favourites episodes from the Season 1 A.

Ordeno las etiquetas de esta forma:

Abreviatura

La abreviatura del nombre del programa en inglés, es la etiqueta principal. Decidí usar abreviaturas porque algunas series coinciden con el nombre del personaje principal. En caso no coincidan, usaré la abreviatura y el nombre completo. Lo mismo se aplica en sagas de libros y otras temáticas que lo requieran

Ejemplos:

En Steven Universe, la etiqueta será su.

En Los Padrinos Mágicos, la etiqueta será fop, luego sigue fairly oddparents.

Nombre del Programa

El nombre completo del programa o saga, siempre en idioma inglés. Esto no aplica cuando el nombre del programa coincide con un personaje.

En el caso de las series derivadas como spin offs, reboots y revivals también se incluirá el nombre de la serie principal, junto con el nombre de la serie derivada. Si el nombre de la serie derivada difiere del nombre del personaje, pondré el nombre completo de la serie derivada

Ejemplos:

Para Hora de Aventura (nombre en Latinoamérica) la etiqueta será adventure time, luego de la etiqueta at.

Para Los Padrinos Mágicos Un Nuevo Deseo el orden será fop, fairly oddparents, fop a new wish, fairly oddparents a new wish.

Para Steven Universe Future, el orden será su, su future, steven universe future. La etiqueta steven universe solo irá si el post habla de Steven.

Personajes

Los personajes involucrados en el post, el orden varía dependiendo de su importancia en el post, seguido por su relevancia en el programa.

La mayoría de veces la etiqueta consiste en el nombre y apellido, en caso uno de estos se desconozca en el show original me referiré al personaje por cómo se lo llama. La excepción de esto es si existen dos personajes con el mismo y único nombre y/o apellido de diferentes shows, en ese caso diferenciaré a ambos anteponiendo la abreviatura de la serie en ambos.

En el caso de que al personaje se le conozca más por un apodo o abreviatura, me referiré a este por el apodo o abreviatura en cuestión.

La etiqueta del personaje será siempre la misma, tanto para una versión pasada como para una versión presente y futura del personaje.

Ejemplos:

En un post que mencione de forma relevante a Steven pero que trate sobre Amatista, el orden sería amethyst, steven universe.

En la saga de Haruhi Suzumiya, a Tsuruya se la conoce solo por el apellido, por lo que la etiqueta sería tsuruya. Si en otra serie que postee también tiene un personaje que sólo se conozca como Tsuruya, la etiqueta para referirme a la primera pasaría a ser hs tsuruya.

También en la saga de Haruhi Suzumiya, la etiqueta para referirme a Mikuru será mikuru asahina, tanto para su versión actual como su versión adulta.

En Los Padrinos Mágicos Un Nuevo Deseo se confirmó que el nombre de A.J. es Anthony James Jr. Como durante 20 años nos referimos a A.J. como A.J. y ya estamos acostumbrados, su etiqueta permanece como aj.

Shippings (Condicional)

Las personas que componen el shipping si el post trata de este, también incluye el nombre oficial. No siempre va aunque estén ambos personajes. Dependerá si el post involucra a ambos personajes como pareja.

Ejemplos:

Si es un fanart de Steven y Connie como pareja, las etiquetas serán steven/connie, connverse.

Lo mismo pasa con Rubí y Zafiro, si es un post de ambas como pareja, las etiquetas serán ruby/sapphire, rupphire.

Categoría (Caso A)

La categoría del post, por lo general suele ser fanart, fanfiction, animation, analysis. La abreviatura del programa siempre debe anteponerse antes, con la intención de filtrar únicamente de una serie en específico.

Ejemplos:

Los fanarts de Steven Universe tendrán como etiqueta su fanart.

Categoría (Caso B)

Similar a lo anterior, pero son menos comunes que no necesitan tener la abreviatura de la serie.
