oh my god guys hi sorry for lack of posting ive been so busy lately but i decided to post some of my starlight express human au designs bc i am obsessed

have been making this au in collaboration with @wonderful-magician and its like genuinely my favorite thing ive done all summer ITS SOOOOO FUN

her name is fairbury!!! shes a miniature diesel locomotive. shes about foooourr in train years, and shes an absolute sweetie.

due to faulty construction of her, her legs were built wrong, her wheels unable to support herself. because of that, she is incredibly wobbly on her wheels, giving her the nickname "wobble wheels"

despite it all, shes convinced she'll be a racing champion one day! her mothers are her world, and she looks up to them more than anything. however, against her dreams, she has a habit of falling and crashing into anything and everything. she also has a nervous stomach, throwing up thousands of dollars worth of diesel everytime she gets slightly upset, which is constant because of her anxiety.

but yeah!! thats her like. basic info. weird thang

- greaseball is fairburys BIGGEST racing supporter. she is forever the winner in her mind. even if fairbury threw up, crashed, fell down and went the wrong way shes the winner and you CANNOOOOT tell her otherwise. (for context i called fairbury bambi before figuring out a name for her)

- dinah and greaseball like to spell things out when talking about something fairbury can't know about, except it fails really bad because greaseball Cannot spell for the life of her so its just fairbury and greasy attempting to figure out what the fuck dinahs talking about.

8. Well with me I think she and Dinah were together like 2 and 1/2 years before the events of StEx, and i think it would take them like threeish years after that to have Fairbury. Might've been a little shorter human au wise

10. this is actually such an interesting question!! as someone whos infertile myself, i love to see it when people consider it a factor- but surprisingly, i dont really think greaseball would. at least not my greaseball, but i do imagine she would get Really sick while carrying so ig that counts as a complication

Now we need to expand on the life of the Greaseball-Dinah-and small child beginning with F (I forgot her name I’m sorry, I know it’s two syllables and begins with an F 😭) family. We also probably need to give them a surname so I don’t have to phrase it like this each time

fairbury!! its like. fairy but with a bu added in there

also u r right !!! greasey and dinah still race, just with fairbury cheering them on from the sidelines!! shes rather clingy, so aside from that, shes always with one of her mothers. she has anxiety about being away from them, and she also depends on one of them to help hold her up so she doesn't fall.

all the coaches and other rolling stock in their yards are pretty used to having a little engine toddling around, especially belle and tassita. and they're also all used to the random piles of diesel left on the ground, thrown up by yours truly. she also really admires rusty, and how steamers can whistle- much to greaseballs chagrin. but she supports fairbury interacting with others, as shes really the only child and needs people to talk to.

with fairburys exsistance, greaseball has softened incredibly so over the years. shes rather soft now, yet will deny that like her life depends on it. fairbury and dinah know the truth, and will snicker together at greasy denials. dinah and fairbury also like to bake together and stroll around!!

2) With the amazing Gaytrain reproduction I have named the family after, who actually carried the child (this is so awkward you don’t have to answer this one)

3) when’s everyone’s birthday

4) what typically takes place on birthdays

5) what was Fairbury’s first day of school like? (At least where I’m from, people start school at four)

6)nighttime routines. Does Fairbury manage to stay in her room the whole night? Do Dinah and Greasey go to bed just them and then wake up with a tiny child sandwiched between them?

1. shockingly it was greaseball. like both of them got baby fever off of seeing human babies, but greaseball got to the point where dinah would be minding her own business and greasy would come storming in like "if i dont have a baby rn i will kms" so!!! shes normal trust

2. ALSO idm answering this one!! again, i dont think normally either of them carried the child and she just was built, but like human au wise greaseball did 🙏🙏 cause i hc dinah to be transfem so like win for lesbians
