omg re: the end part THATS JUST BC akira hasn't played basketball in 4-5 years!! (he joined the Academy 4 years ago, and since he was so good at tennis he dropped his other sports!!! :3)
i imagine he only really fucked around w basketball w mishima sometimes after akira's baseball practices/mishima's vball practices so it's "even playing ground" for them:3
