This morning was the most glorious morning in the history of the Earth

Peace is upon us, a gift to every man, woman and child! From the Fading Dusk dev team! Victory, not just for our people, but for our species.

I have figured out how to add custom unit voxels to Tiberian Sun. This is not new to any TibSun modder but me, but regardless I am over the fucking moon at cresting this hill. Big thanks to the Fading Dusk team for putting several cut models up for download, it allowed me to practice what I was doing, and I will definitely be installing more (I have plans for that Nod Heavy Tank).

(If you cannot tell what I have added, it's the "Attack Buggy" I have my cursor over. It doesn't have a cameo yet, but I'll get there someday).

This is the usual way it goes but yeah Rush was supposed to be very short. Maybe 200-500 words. Certainly not much over 1000 words. But the boys just kept bickering and then some emotions crept in and oops they hit 3.1k.

i don't think i'm ever going to be normal about the sky (tags)

#TAG RAMBLE !#i've been thinking for a while about clouds and the sky #i mean i've always felt how vast it is #but clouds are so human to me. or alive at least #i see a clear sky and it feels like maybe we're all alone out here and we are all going to die #like the universe is quiet and empty #but an overcast sky sort of. it feels comforting #kind of bounces my thoughts back down to earth maybe. it makes the world feel small and finite #and then there's in-between!! big clouds and wisps of clouds. they feel like faces or just. living things #the sky is so infinite and all-consuming and they're right up there with it #deciding they make the painting more whole #i'm making this post because i was just in the car looking out the window #and the edge of the sunset sky had sort of. a film of clouds over it #and it was like the sky finally had a face. like i could hold it #and i don't know i just stared at the colors as the clouds faded and felt small and infinite #writing all of this in the tags because i feel like it seems pretentious in a post? sort of stuff you say to a friend in a field at dusk #and not on tumblr dot com to the mutuals #also it's just quieter in here #i think a part of me will always be longing because i want to touch the sky #and it's nice to know i'll always want something #that's all for now. byebye <3 #tag twaddle #kindling #clouds

14: I have never, and I can't see myself ever wanting to. I have no problem with going grey, and everyday there's less and less to dye anyway (and I have no problem with that either). 😂

17: Nah. I'm not big on metaphysics of any sort, really.

21: History! There are so many interesting stories, and it's fascinating how everything links together - and also continues to affect today (I also had fantastic teachers).

22: Well, I almost failed our core art class. 😅 I don't have much natural ability at art, and I didn't get along with the teacher.

32: Might be some recency bias here, but I'm a big fan of dusk in all seasons.
