Behold the majestic Factory Butte in Utah. Rising to a 6,302-foot summit, this striking mountain of grey sandstone is surrounded by a surreal landscape of desert and unique, eroded rock formations.

Some Cool Finds - near Hanksville, UT

Our friends, Terry and Judith, arrived yesterday afternoon from the Denver area. Today we are explored a couple of amazing formations and places that Terry had heard about. The first one was Long Dong Silver and Angel of Death - we parked along Highway 24, near Hanksville, and hiked a very short distance to our first formation.

Angel of Death formation, we hiked over to this on our way back to the truck.

The snow-covered Henry Mountains in the distance, as we hiked the dirt road back to where Terry had parked.

Our next stop in the “Terry Tour”, was the Mars Research Station. We only got a glimpse of it, but the terrain sure makes a person believe that they are on Mars!

This area was just incredible - the red and white layers were spectacular.

We stopped near this spot for lunch and to just enjoy the views.

Next stop on the “Terry Tour” was Moonscape Overlook (on a dirt road near Factory Butte). Jaw-dropping views!

What a place - I definitely want to go back and explore the area a little more.

sometimes i feel like tango is underrated. like i know he has a lot of fans but when people talk about hermitcraft its often grian mentioned first, or etho, or xisuma. all awesome creators obvi but it just blows my mind that i never hear ‘yeah tango is what got me into hermitcraft’

(me too it was actually gem that had me discovering hermitcraft)

the man is a master builder and he can create unfathomable machines in mc and he is so charismatic and engaging. man can literally do anything. like is there anything he’s bad at?

anyway just thoughts. felt like tango needs an appreciation post. and im curious if any of you lovely mcyt fans out there actually did find hermitcraft via tango and/or if tango is your Favorite Hermit.

Let’s do an indy 5/cars 3 situation (gotta keep the IP alive) where mav is in an old persons home with dementia and multiple replaced joints and divorced but somehow the navy still needs him and just him to train the new 20 year old female protégé (maybe amelia for tie-in bonus?) after rooster volunteered to fight in ukraine in 2022 and got shot down and killed a week into the war… And somehow it’s maverick and only maverick who gets behind the yoke to save the day (OMG Tom cruise wins against all odds again)
