Ok, it's rant time:
The Limian Burzghash is the Author of the 'Road to Janus' in which he makes a series of prophecies regarding the Librarians of Hush House. He accurately predicts Willem Harries will be the Sixth Librarian and will bring a Key with him to the house. At the end, while describing the Twelfth Librarian (us) he states they come 'After the Flame and before the Snow.' This is an amazing way to set up a sequel, but I recently recalled this line while I was looking through the Librarian Origins:
The Magnate is searching for peace, specifically 'the peace of snow.' I would normally just consider this a coincidence or something like that but I noticed that The Magnate is the origin connected to the Hushery branch of the Watchman's Tree, which is the branch that holds Hush House. This could imply that The Magnate is the 'true origin' of the Twelfth Librarian, which might be confirmed if the third game by Weather Factory (yes they are making a third) is a sequel, and it refers to the Twelfth Librarian as the Magnate regardless of which Librarian you played as, similar to how Julian Coseley has been defeated by an Ascendent Long regardless of whether you did so in Cultist Simulator.
Now, I don't know the possible endings for the Magnate, but I do know that in one of Burzghash's other books, he calls the Twelfth Librarian the Herald of the City Unbuilt, which could mean that the 'True Librarian' creates a history where Cear Ys is successfully built (Which could be the premise of the next game, a city builder where the player character tries to create Cear Ys.) So, I'm going to do a playthrough as the Magnate and see what the possible endings are, and if one of them involves the creation of Cear Ys, that could lend credibility to the Magnate being the Librarian that canonically arrives at Hush House, especially so if the aftermath involves the beginning of 'The Snow'

Annon-Guy: I was watching a video on Street Fighter 6 where the roster (Minus JP) taught your Custom Character their Martial Art in their own unique way and it got me thinking this. I know it's a weapon fighter, but how would the 24 Characters in Guilty Gear StrIVe teach your Custom Character in their own way (yes, this includes I-No, Chaos, Bedman? and Asuka)?
As part of an extra service, when I wrote GG Bios for every Guilty Gear character, in classic tradition, I would often describe their weapons and fighting style and even list their movelist history in great detail...
I also have a separate tag specifically for GG+Weapons and going further in to Movelist+Evolution, which chronicles the development of their respective fighting styles... not to mention the Instant+Kill tag.
Part of a fighter's history is not only the development of their fighting style, but the history they have interacted with it, their teachers, the weapons they've obtained or created along the way and the philosophies they created while honing their craft.
While teaching and mastery of such esoteric and often Magic-based arts aren't exactly something some characters can replicate OR teach (because of how unique each character in Guilty Gear is)... at the very least their styles and weapons can at least somewhat be documented here on my blog as well as I can manage.
Oh yes, and I also have a separate tag for an entirely old category called "Ancient+Martial+Arts", as well as discussion on the art of using Ki or Qi.
Seeing as Guilty Gear is mostly about the Thrice-Damned Bio-Weapons KNOWN as GEARS, I also have a separate tag for the physiology of GEARS as well.
Okay, that's enough hyperlinks... leading BACK in to your question... many characters like Millia and Zato can't exactly pass their powers on to any sort of protégé in a traditional sense, though I suppose they can be something of a mentor at the very least, as each has their own unique personality quirks and nuances as you might expect...
Most likely if one were to explore the world of Guilty Gear that way, they would likely be "crafting" their own unique weapons and learning Magic arts along the way, borrowing a few "technique ideas" like Sin Kiske already has...
Going even further, this traces itself back to the Robo-Ky Mark II Factory of Guilty Gear Isuka, which allowed players to customize their own unique Robo-Ky with moves that copied the techniques of their favorite characters. (And hey, I wouldn't mind building a robot version of my favorite characters and custom moves, myself!)
Yeahp, Isuka was ahead of its time, believe it or not!
No doubt, living in such a world that's "full of fighting" and danger, you would face Gears, monsters of all types, take on Bounties as a Bounty Hunter, chase on Marks as an Assassin, or seek your own fortune as a Pirate or Knight or challenge the authorities as a dangerous GEAR of your own nightmarish creation!

"Un entretien entre députés et grévistes," La Presse. August 11, 1943. Page 3. --- Il aura lieu demain à 1 heure p.m. Grève dans sa deuxième semaine. --- La grève des 20,000 ouvriers des trois plus importantes avionneries du Canada, la Noorduyn, la Vickers et la Fairchild, est entrée dans sa seconde semaine aujourd'hui pendant que se multiplient les entretiens dans l'espoir de mettre fin à ce conflit.
Toutefois les entretiens que les délégués de la loge 712 de l'Union internationale des machinistes, section de l'avionnerie, ont eus hier à Ottawa ne semblent pas avoir eu de résultats satisfaisants et nous apprenons "qu'aucune concession n'au- rait été consentie par le ministère du travail ou par tout autre représentant fédéral pour le retour des grévistes au travail".
On sait que les trois avionneries sont fermées sur l'ordre des hon. C.- D. Howe, ministre des munitions et approvisionnements, et Humphrey Mitchell, ministre du travail. Les grévistes réclament des arrérages du boni de vie chère.
Entretiens avec les députés demain Les représentants des grévistes auront un entretien avec les députés fédéraux et provinciaux de l'ile de Montréal à 1 h., demain après-midi. apprend-on aux quartiers généraux de la loge 712. Cette conférence a pour but de trouver le moyen d'en arriver à une entente. Il se peut, nous dit-on, que les chefs de la loge et les députés aient ensuite une entrevue avec le premier ministre du Canada, le Tres Hon. M. King.
Les entretiens de MM. Robert Haddow et D. S. Lyons, respectivement représentant canadien et vice-président de l'union internationale des machinistes, avec les chefs du Congrès des métiers du Canada et des officiels du gouvernement fédéral, ne semblent pas avoir donné de résultat à date.
On n'a aucune nouvelle également de l'entretien que la Fédération provinciale du travail devait avoir hier avec le premier ministre de la province, l'hon. Adélard Godbout, pour lui demander son intervention personnelle dans le différend de l'avionnerie. Les chefs de la fédération reviendront aujourd'hui dans la métropole.
Réunion, hier soir Des milliers de grévistes se sont réunis, hier soir, à l'Auditorium Hall, pour entendre le rapport de leurs délégués à Ottawa, mais on n'a rien annoncé. MM. Sarto Fournier, dé- puté de Maisonneuve-Rosemont aux Communes, Emile Boucher, député de S.-Henri, à Québec, ont toutefois adressé la parole aux grévistes. Bien que M. Fred Rose, nouveau député fédéral de Cartier, n'ait pas été invité à la réunion, mais il a adressé la parole aux grévistes. Il les a encouragés à réclamer leur boni rétroactif.
La réunion d'hier soir était sous les auspices du Conseil des métiers et du travail dont le président est M, Paul Fournier.
M. Rose a déclaré que "le peuple est fatigué de la politique de MM. Howe et Mitchell".
Il a de plus sévèrement blâmé les autorités fédérales, le parti libéral et l'Association des manufacturiers et les accuses d'avoir retardé le reglement de la grève.
il y aura ce soir une autre réunion au cours de laquelle des rapports sur les entretiens d'Ottawa et de Québec seront donnés.
