so there’s this creepy old witch telling odin of his and his future heir’s destiny,all was well until she said that his son,only son he’ll ever have will fall in love with a jotun and marry him, Odin, furious at the prospect (because he’s an asshole) demands to know the jotun’s name, his name is Loki Laufeyson,the son of the jotnar king,as the years go by odin gets the perfect opportunity to stop fate,the jotnar invaded midgard,in the midst of war he found the baby,the Laufeyson who’s destined to maery his son,he can’t hsve that now,can he? He puts a glamor on loki,and takes him away as soon as the war was won,he put him in a tower that is forbidden from all in the palace,the door can’t be open unless it’s Odin himself who opens it, throughout the years Loki grew in that tower,gazing from his Window which has thick iron bars,he doesn’t know anything unless it’s from a book

Now comes young prince Thor

Odin, thinking that there’s no worrying about loki anymore actually forgets his existence, Thor one day find the door to the one place that’s forbidden to all,he can’t open it,but he’s so curious about what’s inside, he knocks and waits for a reply

He gets a response from inside,a shy gentle voice asking who is it, Thor being overjoyed by this starts to talk to the person inside

It became a Habit of thor to go in the evenings to talk to the person locked inside He asks for a name,but the person says he doesn’t have one

So Thor being Thor just takes the word"lock" and calls him “loki” and loki is so happy to finally have a name of his own

Thor then tries to open the door,but he fails, he tries everyday but nothing could make the door open

One day he finally became worthy of mjolnir,and the first thing he does? Fly all the way to the tower’s lonely Window and trys to break the bars open

He succeeded,now he finally can see the person he talked to all these years,he enters from the window his heart beating so loud

He glanced around the room,and then from the shadows,comes Loki, just like he imagined him, slender and graceful,he can’t express himself, he’s so overjoyed

Loki stared at the intruder, Thor then speaks to him and he recognise his voice

He’s so happy he’s in tears, he’s so lonely in this tower,no one to talk to,no one to see,all his meals are always brought by a small door,and he’s so touch starved that he can’t help but cling to Thor

Loki begs Thor to take him out of the tower because he wants to feel the grass. Thor of course takes him out, and takes him to frigga’s garden, and that’s the first time she even knew that Odin had kept this secret from her. Shes pissed, because Loki didn’t deserve any of that

He’s so happy to just touch everything,the flowers,the trees,Even the tree bark,which caused him to bleed from a little scratch,but even then he’s happy because the tower was enchanted to never let him get hurt

He’s happy because everything that he read in his books is happening right in front of him,all the fairy tails he read

And then Thor calls a storm and Loki gets to feel rain on his skin. He’s so happy.

Oh wait,i forgot the angst

Thor invites loki to the feasting hall,odin here doesn’t recognise loki, after all the last time he saw him was when he was a baby,loki is so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people in there,weeks go by and loki still accompanied Thor where ever he went, rumours started to rise, who’s this man? Where did he come from? From which family does he belongs? And then it gets twisted,they start to say that he’s just whoring himself to the crown Prince,why else would a beauty with no past or family even be in court? Then loki starts to feel all these new negative emotions,pain,hurt, sadness, he can’t understand why would anyone want to hurt him like this,why are they hurling insults at him? He’s done no wrong,he goes to thor crying on his shoulder, begging him to stop the pain, Thor doesn’t understand,he sees no wound on loki,but loki is just clutching his chest,his heart is aching,and Thor seething with rage but still holds loki to him to will the pain away

I’ll leave the rest to whoever reads this prompt, just to see if anyone is interested in writing this (also because it’s 12 am and I’m a lazy shit who wants to sleep)
