Help! I think I am Menopausal

MENOPAUSE - for many this can be an uncomfortable time both physically and mentally.  Menopause can make us feel old! even so many women agree the menopause gives them a new found confidence and so should be celebrated. Menopause is no accident, but a necessary change, and of course, it happens to over 50% of the population. There are too many symptoms to list here, there are A LOT! Some symptoms though are hot flushes, weight gain, mood swings, headaches, anxiety, brain fog, aches and pains and sleeplessness.

Treating the symptoms is key and in reflexology we look at the symptoms and then to the systems involved.  We work on these systems to treat the symptoms, either through the use of foot or face reflexology.

Our Mental Health is also tested as we move through the menopause and I have developed mindful reflexology to help.  Mindful reflexology is a technique using hypnosis followed by a full reflexology session. This can help calm the mind and relieve feelings of anxiety and help to de-stress. We all need to consider our wellness, both our mind and body are connected and need balance. By recognising your symptoms, and seeking out the right treatment for you, can help you live a more comfortable menopause.

Reflexology and hypnotherapy can help re-balance, re-energise and reboot our minds and bodies. Used alone or together these can act as a powerful tonic to your menopausal symptoms.
