If u use AI art and ur anything but an artist using it as a minor tool literally fuck you and stop. Imagine showing an ai generated art to someone and being like “this is my oc” and it’s so OBVIOUSLY ai bc it always is. That’s so embarrassing for you. I would drop dead of cringe. You don’t NEED art of ur characters. Use face claims and descriptors and aesthetic boards. Edit pics in one of the billion free apps on your phone. Use models. Hero forge. Picrew. Sims 4, dragons dogma or saints row 4 character creators - ALL FREE. Learn to draw yourself in a $1 notebook from dollar general. A mash of reference photos. All that time you spend typing trying to get the perfect prompt to rip off the perfect mash of real artists to get something that vaguely resembles your character in glassy anime baby face form could be spent in a much more accurate, descriptive avenue that isn’t utterly morally bankrupt.
It’s not fucking hard. No excuses. Zero.

Me: Okay, baby, I'm listening. What's your question.
Child: *deadly serious* Are ghosts... real?
Me: No baby, they're not real.
Child: *accusatory* Then why did you ask dad to look them up on his phone?
Me: *rapid mental flipping through the past few days* OH! I was wondering why people decided that "boo" was the noise that ghosts make, because I didn't know where that word came from and I was curious.
Child: So what was it?
Me: Nobody can agree on where it came from, so I still don't know why "boo" is the noise that people use for ghosts.
Child: How come you needed to know?
Me: I didn't need to, I was just curious and didn't want to forget to look it up later, so I asked Dad to check for me while my hands were busy. I just thought it would be fun to learn.
Child: But ghosts don't really say "boo" because they aren't real, so they don't really say anything?
Me: That's right. ... Have you maybe been feeling worried about gho--?

Kingdom seems unusually subdued on the matter‚ despite having#been an officer involved in the original case 12yrs ago; no bleeding heart monologues here‚ nor wringing of hands over whether an injustice#has been done. indeed‚ he never really offers an opinion on whether or not he was or is convinced of the man's guilt or innocence#it's quite out of sorts for the character‚ who might normally have been expected to vigorously defend his previous conduct or to lament his#youth and inexperience in a poorly handled case. instead he says nothing‚ and skulks about concentrating on the modern day#killing. perhaps he's still shaken up by the events of the previous week‚ tho i doubt it (there isn't a great amount of reference between#episodes in this series and mostly they're very self contained to date). no big faces in the guest cast tho i always appreciate Heathcote#an undervalued actor who rarely got the kind of meaty roles he deserved (nor did he here alas)#this same year Hamon appeared in the superb To Encourage the Others‚ another tale of legal injustice‚ as Derek Bentley's co defendant#Christopher Craig‚ in Alan Clarke's incendiary dramatisation of the Bentley murder trial

you're right! thanks for the catch. this poll was meant to be posted as the final 4x weakness gen one underdog poll of the first round of that tournament; it'll be deleted and reposted as such accordingly.
since i joined this project, i'm the one who actually makes the posts for every poll, and i tend to make+schedule about 40 in one sitting at minimum. what probably happened here is that i had scheduled a couple azalea gym polls just prior, and then didn't notice that i forgot to switch poll templates because it was a single poll (as opposed to the pairs i usually queue in)+i have so many posts to focus on at once. either way, thank you again!
