WOMEN’S HEALTH CENTER OF FABLETON
Founder and Operating Manager Megara Valis got the land and building donated for this labor of love, and continues to run it as a non-profit organization. Renting out the other half of the building to The Black Dragon allows her to pay insurance costs, and doctors donate their time. It acts as a resource for education, sexual wellness, and a starting point for young women in town who need it. Fundraising events keep it open and donations from well-meaning businessmen who want the founder out of their face keep costs down for patients. Expect discretion and decent care from one of the few places in town that will actually provide it.

THE BLACK DRAGON
After a brief implosion, Maleficent’s bar is back and better than ever, even if it shares a building with a medical clinic. Its new location in the heart of town attracts even more tawdry sorts -- like lawyers. It’s still a watering hole for villains too sophisticated for the Jolly Roger. Boasting all the poshness she could manage through delegation, it’s more social and more open than any of the other neighborhoods’ offerings. However, being owned by Maleficent and staffed mostly by those who align with her, it does tend to cater to a certain clientele. Oftentimes, heroes find themselves feeling unwelcome. Some will still enter, but most will pass it by.

SOPHIE’S FLOWER SHOP
Sophie and Howl are no stranger to being shuttled between realms, but being stuck in one was a bit of a shock. Not enough of one to keep stalwart Sophie down though, and she soon convinced Howl to open a new shop, although he insisted on naming it after her. Right on Town Square, the flower shop was one they knew how to run at least, although you can also buy spells or magic items if you’re willing to ask.

FABLETON POLICE DEPARTMENT
The police department is staffed by the most noble, varied force imaginable. With the mix of human and fable folk on staff, they’re able to handle even the strangest of cases without batting an eye. The biggest issue comes in the amount of crime and the fact that the majority of residents have some (understandable) issues with authority, which are hard to change because of the places they’re from. Still, the finest men and women work hard to keep the town as safe as possible and try to stay involved in positive, community-building events. They also have a tendency to stay out of Olympus as much as possible.

PEARLY WHITES
Most would argue a dentist’s office shouldn’t be lovely, but this one is. That is perhaps enhanced by its relative stability considering it’s located in Wonderland, where nothing stays still for long. With the actual Tooth Fairy as your dentist, and her love of teeth and extensive knowledge, you’re bound to walk away with a smile. Even if her patients don’t know all those details.

TIANA’S PLACE
This was Tiana Benoit’s dream and it shows. She works hard to keep the place clean, to make it elegant with flashes of spice and light, a blend of Southern charm and sass. She’s almost always around, cooking up something new and greeting customers. Jazz music in the background sets a tone, candle lit tables set the mood, and they almost never close on time because people can’t stay away from this Town Square landmark.

THE DOJO
The Dojo is the only place to learn self-defense and martial arts, and even if it wasn’t, it would still be the best. E. Aster Bunnymund himself is the owner and a master of several different martial arts, plus he’s an excellent teacher. Anyone looking for a fight should stop by the Town Square location and see what they have to offer.

FABLETON ANIMAL SHELTER
Annie Osborne has had a passion for animals since she was very little. When she realized Fableton was severely lacking a place for abandoned or abused animals to be cared for and adopted, she decided it was time to rectify that. After a lot of hard work and a lot of help from the community, the Fableton Animal Shelter was founded. Domesticated animals of all kinds have found a home here, but they need forever homes. If you find your home in need of a furry, feathered, or four-legged friend, come on down. Annie and her team of volunteers and employees would be happy to find the pet for you.

CHÂTEAU TREMAINE
The name sounds super classy and, at first glance, this hotel lives up to it. The location, actually in Berk but with views of the beautiful Ever After, further southeast than most establishments, is questionable. On the underside, the hotel lives up to that, too. It’s a classy looking establishment, and weekend guests or those just coming to enjoy a meal at the decent, if generic, restaurant and bar won’t notice the shadier details. Those coming to conduct questionable deals in the conference rooms, the closets, or under the tables -- they’ll take more heed. This place isn’t quite what it seems at first glance, for better or worse.

FABLETON FIRE DEPARTMENT
The small town got by with volunteers for years, but now they finally have what every city needs -- their own dedicated, full-time department, ready to meet Fableton’s most explosive needs. With one central station, located in the Town Square and functioning with almost the latest in fire engine technology, and a station in Berk with some surprising specialty capabilities, Fableton is all set on the public safety front. Sort of.

FABLETON GENERAL HOSPITAL
The Fableton Hospital is centrally located, next to the police department in Town Square. The staff is mostly qualified to take care of whatever ails you, and if they aren’t fully qualified, well, they’ve learned to be resourceful and almost never perform experimental treatments. Well... sometimes they have to with all the odd occurrences in town, but most of the time, everything turns out just fine. More importantly, they’re bound by privacy laws not to blast their weirdest cases to the media and, generally, they don’t even discuss them with each other.

TICK TOCK DINER
Tick Tock Diner can’t compete with Tiana’s or Landlocked when it comes to cuisine. The food is standard diner fare, but it’s cheap, open twenty-four hours, and has the best pie in Fableton. It’s a quiet place, once one gets used to the ticking of all the clocks that cover the walls, and students can sit and study for hours without being bothered. Tick Tock Diner is open seven days a week in Wonderland.

FABLETON COMMUNITY CHURCH
As Dr. Xavier Facilier, the largely unknown founder of Fableton’s largest non-denominational church, says, “We put the unity in community.” Don’t let the humble building’s Olympus location fool you -- it’s meant to be a safe place and a place of worship. He presides over traditional services on Sundays, of course, but hosts a wide variety of events. Bingo night, youth activities, and monthly potlucks seem to be the biggest hits. He also runs support groups for addicts, couples, and even -- shh -- a couple of anonymous groups no one likes to mention by name. The faithful’s donations keep the extra amenities afloat. Just make sure you attend your Sunday School lesson in the right classroom. There are a lot of closed doors and no one really wants to examine what’s happening behind them, right?

FABLETON COURTHOUSE
While the town isn’t big enough to attract the attention of a federal court, and no one’s really sure if it’s part of any sort of government apart from its own, it does have and need a courthouse. It’s a mixture of modern day law and old time meeting place for officials, but it gets the job done. It also has a large function hall that’s capable of serving as space for town events, including meetings and maybe the occasional ball.

EMERALD CITY BOOKSTORE
If you expect something organized when you walk into a bookstore, you will be sorely disappointed by this one. Disorganization seems to be key to the employees running the place, and you may find Stephen King haphazardly shoved in with the Danielle Steele novels, or a book on how to kill a witch in with the cookbooks. There are certainly some diamonds in the rough though, so be certain to keep an eye out!

FABLETON HIGH
Fableton’s teachers have their work cut out for them here, for in addition to the typical high school dramas and pitfalls, they also have the very real existence of fabled people and places. Fairytales and folklore are fact instead of fiction and some students have real, understandable issues based on where they’re from. High school is never easy, but at least this one is large enough to keep students engaged in any range of activity while being small enough even Lost Boys don’t feel lost in the halls.
