#fable smp appreciation

Fable smp has come to an end, so my first post will be purely appreciation for everything that it has brought me. I found fable through sherbert's Tik Tok, they posted an Icarus video and I was interested.

My first fable stream was in season 1. I can't remember the stream title but it was Sherbert turning Haley's (blown up) house into a amethyst geode.

I remember that the beacons outside of their house were changed and they fixed it, but they changed again. I told them that they changed and they actually read my chat message. It's a feeling I can't quite describe. Every other twitch stream I have been in I felt so distant but Sherbert made me feel so seen in that moment.

After that first stream I continued watching, I was never caught up on lore and everyone streamed during my school day. Even with being lost every time there was lore I still felt like I was apart of something, fable gave me a space I could just be in even without fully understanding.

By the end of season 1 I barley knew what had happened. Through the beginning of season 2 I didn't know what was happening but when I started catch streams more I felt like I knew where I was supposed to be. I got a lot more involved in the community, I started cosplaying and making fanart.

When school started again I fell into a really dark place and as the year continued it didn't get better. Then for some reason I started catching fable streams again. Fable gave me a community that was nothing but welcoming and accepting, and that helped me so much.

In the summer after season 2 I went to my local comic con and cosplayed characters from fable. I accidentally met Daniel on a bus while wearing my Sherbet merch (which then was told to Sherbet and they talked about it on stream, that was wild). I wrote fan fiction (that I never posted but that's okay).

I've been the most involved in season 3. I've shed many tears, I've yelled at my screen (mostly at icarus) I've started playing Minecraft myself, I've met content creators I highly admire, I've found a huge part of myself.

I've been through all 3 of the sherbathons. 3 whole years of angst and joy on fable. All of the sherbverse lore. All the huge CMV's and amazing cutscenes. All the emotions that came with every character.

I can't say everything I feel with this post, every wonderful experience I've had. But know that in me saying this I have nowhere near enough words to describe my gratitude.

So I just want to say thank you. To all of the cast, the artists, the voice actors, the songwriters, and of course the community for making fable what it is today.

To the cast -

This has genuinely been one of the coolest projects that I’ve ever been able to watch. The amount of time, effort and creativity that was put into this is insane! Everyone’s characters were written so well and the acting was so good. One can tell that you all really care.

I’ve been watching since early 2023 and the Fable SMP has gotten me through a lot of things. The characters and the VODs have me comfort many a time - I’m so grateful that i was able to watch this story come to a close, and for it to have a definite ending. Thank you so much for making this so special for everyone.

An episode I haven’t seen talked about is Different now. And I just want to like. Appreciate that episode for a minute.

It’s grown to be one of my favorite episodes in season 3, and just. I think it’s such a meaningful thing to represent. (I’m talking mostly about what happens after Rae talks to Athena and Jamie- but that’s something that should be represented as well) just. Rae’s looks keep changing, nothing stays the same and his case is more severe but just. The feeling of needing to wash out your hair dye after sitting with it for a while and something triggers just the need for control- the need for things to be normal again is something I and I’m sure a lot of other people have felt, and I think not only for this situation but a lot of Rae episodes tackle some situations I’m sure a lot of people have felt- especially in a queer or neurodivergent community.

It means a lot to me, and some of those episodes having situations I was going through at the time of watching even if on a more severe or fantasy-like scale got me through some tough times. This is probably just incoherent rambling but- just- thank you to Heyhay for bringing that acting and story to us in such a welcoming community.

This turned into a heyhay/fable smp appreciation post but just. It’s so important to me and I’m sure a lot of others and I wanted to highlight that. So thank you <3

It's hit me now that Fable Smp is ended, and now I'm gonna get sappy.

I've been watching FSMP since about the middle of s2 but honestly it has been the best thing. It was something I could look forward to during the summer when I had nothing to do, and after school if I've had a hard day or just need something to bring me up.

Getting to binge watch this show while petsitting for my aunt, sitting in the couch watching Rae and Momboo go at it, or OB vs AB fights. While trauma, was a fun time.

I've met some of my favorite people through this server, some honorable mentions being @cosmicthestar and @starlightlovesspace My best friends and one of them being my husband /p, I would rant to these two for hours.

The art we've done together, asking each other for input on things, always made me so happy.

I've gotten through quite a few hard times and always turn to this server for comfort.

This has inspired and helped me so much when working on my own SMPs, writing, art, ect. I just wanna say thank you so much to the Fable cast for giving me this opportunity.

I’m not particularly gifted with words but I think, it speaks volumes about a story when it can keep its entire audience waiting with bated breath, can make us feel genuine emotion from it, I’ve only had a story make me feel something two other times, so congratulations to the cast, creating a story that surpasses even critically acclaimed stories in quality and storytelling,

So I want to ramble about my theories of Fable smp. So I feel like Lucenare's story is gonna be them being Alerion, but for some reason with how Will recently remembered, but it not showing it just him going "I remember now" and then disappearing for a long time makes me think he might have remembered more then the one reset, and like I also feel like he might be Alerion's son then, which would make sense why Luce might know him.

Thoughts?
