top 5 non-deledier fics, please! I'm curious :>

This ask is a blessing AND a curse!

It allows me to talk about fics i usually don’t talk about here. But picking just five is a nightmare and so many have to be left out 😩😩 I like you unsweet, by @lesbleusthroughandthrough​  (Hendollana) - This is one of the best fics I’ve ever read, period. It should be a book and even those not in the fandom should read it, because it’s THAT good 1+1 = 3,  by @manuelmueller​  (Neuller) - The *real* answer is anything from Maggie’s Fabiverse and her “Neuller Main Verse”. But the ask was to pick one fic, so Im being a good girl 😇😇 But trust me, her fics singlehandedly made me care about a ship that involves Bayern’s Captains (Bayern!!! I freaking hate Bayern!!!) Speak My Language, by @tyskerunge​ (Steno)- Quite simply the most beautiful smut ever written. The tenderness, the delicacy, the intimacy... It’s something so special, I think I can recommend it to anyone, regardless of fandom Du Fortenar Ein Som Meg, by @tyskerunge​ (Steno) - This one hits so many of my favorite tropes, I can’t even begin to describe it. And  it’s a fic I keep finding myself talking about, so it really stayed with me  Any Steno fic ever written by @khalehla​ - Im so obsessed with them, it’s borderline stalker-ish. These are what I call my Comfort Fics - the ones I’ve read over and over and probably will do forever. They just have everything - enemies to lovers; domesticity; long-distance; marriage; kids; it reaches everything... And I might or might not have a google doc with the links of all of them by chronological order, that I spent ages working on last year  It’s interesting to realize how many Steno fics I picked. But I suppose it makes sense - to me, this is a ship that exists purely in fanfiction, and it wouldn’t even be on my radar (neither would Marc and Bernd) if it weren’t for the amazing writers out there

When you wake up in the morning, you have no idea whether the day is going to turn your entire life upside down. In September 2017, Manuel Neuer is injured in training, but he quickly finds that for the next few months, a broken midfoot will be the least of his worries. Instead, the tests uncover something else, something that ends up changing absolutely everything: what was, what is, and most importantly, what will be.

An update: 57'000 words and some, 26 chapters - the actual writing is done. Now I just have the actual fine-tuning edits still to do before I can subject my beta to it. And then hopefully I will be able to start posting it next week

Uhhh so at anyone following my Fabiverse process, can I ask a question? ... basically, I need your help.

So far my WIP title has been 1+1=3 which .... is lovely. But I don’t really think it constitutes as a title. BUT I am incredibly attached to it. So um. Before I go through the work of trying to come up with another one, what would you prefer – a proper, ‘word�� title, or this one?

Well, this is it. I wrote an ending. Sure, I’ll have to go to do edits and rewrites. But the ending is written, the story concluded. I just hope I did this little family – and mostly Thomas and MANU and their/his journey justice. I really do.

God, I’m gonna be really emotional once this is truly, when everything is finished and posted.
