every morning, as he slid into his seat right next to yours in tutorial, he'd ask what kind of day it was

he'd never muck up with your names or pronouns and it wasn't that uncommon for him to end up having fights with people over you and how they should respect you

you, however, felt like ollie wasn't as open with you as you were with him

he was always missing odd thursdays and fridays here and there, sometimes arriving to school later than usual on mondays, clearly exhausted

you thought maybe he was sick and had to have regular doctors appointments or something but he never seemed like he was going through something like that

he just seemed tired and busy

but, no matter what you did, you could never figure out why nor could you get a minute to ask ollie for the truth

you finally learnt the truth when he showed up very nearly late to your prom

the two of you had started dating when you were thirteen and everyone knew the relationship would last for ages because you two were just so in tune with each other

therefore, it hurt a little bit when he didn't pick you up from prom like he said he would and instead texted you to say he'd meet you there

when he does arrive, you demand an explanation whilst trying not to cry

after all, you'd been dreaming of this moment since ollie asked you to go with him, and you were so disappointed that it'd fall through at the last second

he was trying to say a bunch of apologies to you whilst also trying to praise your outfit whilst also explaining that he'd been off racing in gb3 and that he'd won that day's race but would need to be there again the next day

you danced with him all night as he slowly but surely opened up to you, explaining his racing and his dreams and how he never meant to exclude you from them, he just wasn't sure how to bring it up

you shushed him each time he apologised before wishing him good luck with his racing the next day when he dropped you off at home

even though he didn't win either race, he was still really happy about the day before and didn't mind all that much

even though he wasn't going to continue schooling alongside you, you two stayed in continuous contact as you went forth with your studies and he went forth with his racing

even when he was halfway across the world, racing in fr asian & f3, he never failed to send you a text each and every morning asking what you were feeling that day

Premiere

Pairing: Lewis Hamilton x Reader

Request: can i request a one-shot where Lewis Hamilton is dating an Australian film director who is genderfluid who uses they/them pronouns? and Lewis is supporting them at a movie premiere of one of their movies (you can pick any you like, i don’t care honestly).

Warnings: I hope you don’t mind the fact that I didn't make the genderfluidity too obvious. As I didn't want to make any mistakes and offend anyone. Instead, I tried to make it gender-neutral so you can everybody could read it. So it could be read as genderfluid. And I didn't mention what the film was as I wanted it to be open to everybody's tastes!

Seeing Lewis's proffered hand, you grabbed onto it and let him help you out of the car.

You were Immediately met with flashing lights and screaming.

Something that wasn't helped by the fact that you were the director. And the piece of arm candy you had was your long-term partner, lewis Hamilton, multi-F1 world champion.

The two of you contained down on the carpet, repeating this process. For a couple of interviews, Lewis left. Dropping back to talk to some of the other people who had helped makes your movie possible.

But Lewis didn't do any interviews by himself. Lewis put his foot down whenever he came to one of your premiers. This wasn't about him. This was about you.

When you got to just before the door into the cinema, Lewis grabbed you and dipped you in a kiss. Causing everybody to cheer.

Laughing at their reaction, Lewis righted you, and the two of you disappeared into the cinema to finally watch your finished project.

heyo same blk genderfluid bitch from before (names bel btw) i know it’s late but have you thought about the fact that maybe some people reader driver x driver fics over self inserts because 1) majority of the inserts are about white people, and poc fans don’t fit the mold. 2) gender preference? like reading fics help with dysphoria. 3) reading fics about certain drivers that have similar personalities to the reader helps with living out their fantasy. im so similar to max, we’re both crass and blunt and we’re both obsessed with lewis so i read 3344 fics to compensate. same thing with seb, so 544 fics do it for me. basically what im trynna say is that i would like to top lewis so driver fics do it for me rather than x readers. also to answer your question from before i haven’t finished fixing my page to busy with school to talk. btw i think you’re pretty cool. 👉🏽👈🏽 😭
