I’m gonna drop a post/doc about history very prevalent in IHNM which ties into my dislike of the game and how it messes up the timeframe a bit (idgaf if Harlan had a big hand in it things still got fucked up lol)

For my own sanity, I refer to the Russian and Chinese mastercomputers as the USSRM and CCPM, as the ALLIED in ALLIED mastercomputer refers to the alliance between the USA/UK, the other mastercomputers are referred to as such for simplicity’s sake as they are the Russian/Chinese equivalents of AM, there is no allied in their title bc you know… they’re not made by allied forces

My biggest gripe with game AM being created in 2012 is that the Cold War themes from the source (along with many other references to WWII + Vietnamese resistance war against America) don’t make sense with that time skip along with several character changes and it pisses me OFF
