Pentax MX-1 Camera Review
Introduction You don’t always want to carry around a system camera or a larger camera – heck, sometimes there are places that do not allow interchangeable lens cameras and only point and shoot or fixed lens models. Being interested in older or vintage gear, I decided to start looking into smaller sensor system or fixed lens cameras. These include 1″, 1/1.7″, 1/2.3″ and 2/3″ sensor…

Rutabaga casserole
All foreign measurements are by weight, because the volume of cups varies between locations. (Except the spoon measures that to my knowledge are standardised.)
150 g / 5.3 oz cashew nuts
water
c. 1,2 kg / 2.6 lbs rutabaga/swede
c. 500 ml / 1 lbs water
1 tsp salt
100 ml / 1.8 oz breadcrumbs
2 eggs
50 ml / 2.5 oz Scandinavian dark syrup* OR 70 g / 2.5 oz dark brown sugar
warming spices to taste, examples at the end**
Measure out the cashew nuts and soak them, either overnight in cold water or, if you're short on time, by pouring boiling water over them and letting them soak for 1-2 hours.
Peel your rutabaga and chop it into smallish cubes. Cook them in salted water at a low to medium heat until they have softened. Mash the rutabaga with a potato masher with its cooking water.
Make your cashew cream by measuring the weight of your soaked cashews and adding water until you reach 300 g / 10.6 oz. With a blender or immersion blender, blend until smooth and creamy. (The result may not be liquid like cream, but this is fine.)
Mix the cashew "cream" with the breadcrumbs and add into the mashed rutabaga with the egg, syrup and the spices. When spicing, take into account how the flavours change during baking; the nutmeg in particular becomes more potent. Check the amount of salt. If stiff, add water to reach a porridge-like consistency.
Move the mixture into a well oiled casserole dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on the surface. Press decorative shapes onto the surface with a spoon. Bake at 150-170⁰C / 300-340⁰F for circa 2 hours. A longer baking time at a lower temperature yields a sweeter result.
*substitute with light molasses, a 50/50 blend of treacle and golden syrup, or make the substitute yourself from water and brown cane sugar: https://windfromthenorth.com/scandinavian-dark-syrup/
**here's a list of some ways to spice the casserole, for reference:
1.
a pinch/dash nutmeg (~1/16-1/8 tsp)
ginger to taste (~1 tsp)
white pepper (~¼ tsp) OR allspice (~½ tsp) to taste
(~ ½ tsp cardamom and/or cinnamon)
2.
1 tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp nutmeg
¼ tsp allspice
3.
⅓ tsp white pepper
½ tsp ground ginger
1 tsp nutmeg (this seems excessive, perhaps a recipe for John Townsend)
½ tsp clove
4.
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp ground white pepper, preferably fresh from a spice mill
¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Doctor Who episodes ranked let’s go
(o’th’ revived era. and eight’s movie because i’ve seen it)
and two-parters are counted as one, but i get to define what a ‘two-parter’ is. this is because i’m in charge not you
9.11 Heaven Sent aka the stars align and somehow Moffat manages to pull an incredible script out of his arse after being stuck up there for so long aka Capaldi is the new Atlas from carrying his entire era aka now you understand why i’m splitting up some two-parters and not others aka ahaha 9.11 lol
3.8/9 Human Nature / The Family of Blood
1.9/10 The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances
3.10 Blink
2.4 The Girl in the Fireplace
4.12/13 The Stolen Earth / Journey’s End
1.6 Dalek
6.i A Christmas Carol
3.11 Utopia
4.8/9 Silence in the Library / Forest of the Dead
7.v The Time of the Doctor okay hear me out first thing is i’m an absolute sucker second thing is why couldn’t season 7 have actually seeded any of this with actual thought and subtly rather than mystery-box hackery it literally makes me think of how much better his era could’ve been if Moffat wasn’t so up his own arse
2.8/9 The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit
7.iv The Day of the Doctor
4.11 Turn Left
3.4 Girldick

2.12/13 Army of Ghosts / Doomsday
2.3 School Reunion
6.11 The God Complex
4.1 Partners in Crime
10.11/12 World Enough, and Time / The Doctor Falls (look, i’m a sucker i know, and i couldn’t give a shit about Gomez and Simm, but fuck you Moffat actually figured out how to write human emotions. Talalay’s finest hour. Lucas’ finest hour. Moffat did not deserve a swan song but he got himself one somehow)
5.2 The Beast Below
8.8 Mummy on the Orient Express (despite the awful, horrible ending, see below (very far below))
4.7 The Unicorn and the Wasp
4.2 The Fires of Pompeii
7.12 Neil Gaiman’s Good Episode

4.iv The Waters of Mars
7.6 oh no it’s clara
9.10 yaay clara’s dead
5.8/9 The Hungry Earth / Cold Blood
12.5 Fugitive of the Judoon (again, based on how i felt watching it for the first time. it was a good episode and an interesting mystery box, just one filled with shit)
1.4/5 Aliens of London / World War Three
7.5 The Angels Take amy lol
2.11 Fear Her
8.4 Listen, aka the first episode that Capaldi carries, despite Moffat being himself again
10.ii Twice Upon a Time (ugh we could’ve had a brilliant trilogy to see out Capaldi, but instead we get Moffat masturbating on live television for an hour. look, The Doctor could have had an actual character arc - they feel like they’re on borrowed time after their resurrection on Trenzalore, after the events on Gallifrey they feel like any sort of feelings of ‘duty’ as last of the time lords (as errant and fleeting as such feelings might’ve been) are resolved, and after failing their BIG MASSIVE SEASON 10 ARC with Missy and getting stabbed in the back, and BILL [redacted for spoilers], they’re happy to accept their death - and that’s where the season ends. yuletide 2017 could’ve ended this arc, they’re taught the love of the universe again, they see the goodness they bring to all life - Clara, i am a good man. and when they sit down to die, those words ‘maybe just one more go’ could’ve had the weight of the universe behind them, it could’ve been the greatest who line ever written, had that line actually had weight on its shoulders. Moffat is a hack. mystery-boxing is hacking, end of story. Capaldi, the finest actor ever in the role, was done dirty by scripts with no weight and planning. Grand Moff lives up his own arse - that power gives him the ability to write incredible episodes such as Heaven Sent and everything he ever touched under Davies - but it makes all series, arcs and continuity fall apart into a pile of shit. this episode is the finest example - a universe of potential, reduced to one hour of self-congratulatory masturbation)
6.9 Night Terrors
11.9 It Takes You Away (the one with the frog god)
7.10 Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS
9.12 Heaven Sent Part II: Whoops
8.9 Flatline
7.3 A Town Called Widowmaker
4.iii Planet of the Dead
9.1/2 The Magician’s Apprentice / The Witch’s Familiar
6.12 Closing Time
3.7 42
13.i Eve of the Daleks (the aisling bea one)
8.3 Robot of Sherwood
9.5/6 Maisie Williams
6.13 The Wedding of River Song
5.3 Victory of the Daleks
8.11/12 Dark Water / Death in Heaven aka i’m sorry Gomez but not even you can carry this
3.6 The Lazarus Experiment
11.i Resolution (…of the Daleks)
10.2 Emoji Robots
8.2 Into the Dalek
10.5 Knock Knock. Who’s There? Yer mum
7.13 The Name of the Doctor aka the Biggest Waste of Richard E. Grant until Rise of Skywalker
7.2 Dinosaurs on a Plane
10.8/9 The Pyramid at the End of the World / The Lie of the Land
Doctor Who: The Movie!
11.6 Demons of the Punjab
7.1 Asylum of the Daleks
7.8 Cold War aka i’m starting to think Mark Gatiss might be a bad writer actually
3.4/5 Daleks in Manhattan / Evolution of the Daleks
11.5 P’ting
9.3/4 Under the Lake / Before the Flood aka the Biggest Waste of Peter Serafinowicz since the Clone Wars didn’t bring him back. also a deaf person falling in love with their interpreter is the most toxic thing ever. and it’s 90 more minutes of season 9 tedium ugh
2.10 Love and Monsters. yeah this high up
8.7 The anti-abortion episode. and it’s not just for that fact alone nonono, The Doctor is such an unbelievable unforgivable cunt this time. at least Clara calls them out in that brilliant final-ish scene BUT they’re still unforgivable AND they get forgiven anyway next week?? literally they take the way Clara’s character arc was going and throw it all in the bin
8.10 In The Forest of the Shite
11.7 Kerblam!
10.9 Empress of Mars aka i’m starting to think Mark Gatiss might be a bad writer actually
9.i Last Christmas aka remember how they reset Clara’s character arc after Mummy for literally no reason???? THEY FUCKING DID IT AGAIN!! she’s literally put in limbo for an ENTIRE SEASON, after they gave her TWO good offramps and apparently chickened the fuck out from using them?? and expected me to care when she (spoiler)? also the episode’s like really boring. bonus points for the absolutely perfect casting of Nick Frost tho, very nominative determinism
10.i is my hatred of Doctor Mysterio unwarranted? probably. but i still hate it
12.8 The Haunting of Villa Diodati, the most overrated episode fuck you. no it is not ‘the only good episode of season 12’ - it’s just as bad as the rest. The Doctor is unnecessarily unlikeable. the villain boy is nonsense, uninteresting and unlikeable. and worst of all - i don’t want to have violent sex with any of the people in this villa
12.4 Nikola Tesla’s Tower of Terror
11.8 The Witchfinders
9.9 Sleep No More aka i’m starting to think Mark Gatiss might be a bad writer actually
13.2 Flux Part 2: War of the Sontarans (oh yeah like they don’t do war normally, that’s like saying the fucking ,, toasting of the toaster or something)
7.i The Doctor, the Widow, and the Wardrobe (it’s only Chibnall from here on out let’s goo)
12.1/2 Spyfall. literally how the FUCK do you waste both Stephen Fry AND Lenny fucking Henry how the fuck. also The Doctor basically committed a nazism right
12.3 Orphan 55, the second most underrated episode - a lot of people say it’s Chibnall’s worst but i think there’s worse
12.i Revolution of the Daleks (the priti patel one)
11.2 The Ghost Monument
13.4 Flux Part 4: Village of the Angels
11.10 The Battle of Rashhcjxjshog s Kjalapados
12.7 Can You Hear Me? (that was the one with the finger guy. no i don’t mean jonathan banks)
11.4 Spiders in Sheffield
12.6 Praxeus
12.9/10 how did they let chibnall get away with it. isn’t there supposed to be oversight. aren’t there supposed to be safeguards. how did they let him get away with it
13.1 Flux Part 1: The Halloween Apocalypse
13.ii Legend of the Sea Devils
13.3 Flux Part 3: Once, Upon Time
13.iii The Power of the Doctor aka thank fuck, it’s finally over
10.5 Flux Part 5: Survivors of the Flux
10.6 Flux Part 6: Fuck You Chibnall

Dark Crystal
This is another one of those posts that represents a funny little window in time. In August 2019, to celebrate the release of a new Dark Crystal series on Netflix (since cancelled, of course, because Netflix), an exhibition was held at the BFI in London of props from the new series. Being in central London on a weekday after work, I travelled light, and brought only my little Sony point-and-shoot camera with me to take pictures.
It was a nice enough trip, but it was fraught with all the problems of photographing in a museum exhibit: trying to take pictures in low light through glass that might be dirty or be reflecting light in a troublesome way. This means that throughout this post you’ll find pictures taken at a high ISO, possibly with hints of reflected light. You might even find them not quite being super sharp if you look too closely (please to refrain from looking too closely). If you’re familiar with my normal kit, you’ll also note that the focal lengths are a lot lower than normal as my Sony reports actual focal lengths, not their 35mm equivalents.
One last point of business: I am legendary for my lack of identifying species, and that might possibly extend to the creatures that inhabit the Dark Crystal world. This isn’t helped by the fact that I’ve not watched Dark Crystal since I was a child, and to this day I haven’t seen the new series, because why start a new series that’s already cancelled? Point is I have no idea what almost anything is in this post, but frankly that’s what you should be expecting from me at this point.
Which is to say that I have no idea what the thing in this first picture is, other than an animatronic from the series.
1/400sec, f/2.8, ISO 1250, 12.35mm
The wider shot shows some of the old-fashioned electronics behind it. Well, up its bottom if we’re being precise.
1/100sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 9.84mm
Then there was this thing in a cage and I have no idea what it is. Look, don’t say I didn’t warn you. You can tell me what they are in the comments i it makes you feel better.
1/50sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 16.17mm
1/80sec, f/2.5, ISO 640, 10.89mm
There were some props as well, such as this book.
1/60sec, f/1.8, ISO 640, 8.8mm
By it was the prop that painted it, I guess? Might be a good time to remind you this was 2019 and I can’t remember most of this any more.
1/40sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 13.72mm
We also came across this model, if my memory serves (and that is a tall order at this point) might have functioned as some sort of CGI reference.
1/30sec, f/1.8, ISO 640, 8.8mm
This next photo doesn’t quite do the scale of the prop justice – it was a good six feet tall.
1/800sec, f/1.8, ISO 640, 8.8mm
We soon entered a room featuring a large Skeksis banquet.
1/25sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 25.7mm
1/20sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 25.59mm
1/60sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 23.9mm
1/30sec, f/2.8, ISO 640, 12.06mm
Elsewhere there was also this little one-eyed monster.
1/20sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
And this similar-looking but more surprised fluffball.
1/6sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
Then we got to some more humanoid creatures, starting with this one who might be the main character or something. Don’t judge me just because I don’t pay attention.
1/15sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
And this guy.
1/30sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 22.95mm
And this girl.
1/25sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 17.06mm
And these happy looking things.
1/30sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 22.77mm
1/25sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 22.38mm
Whoever set up the exhibition had a sense of humour.
1/50sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
Around them were various props.
1/10sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 15.94mm
1/10sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
1/100sec, f/3.5, ISO 800, 14.7mma
Amongst them was this little critter.
1/20sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
At the end of the exhibition there were what I think either the Big Bad or the wizened elder of the series. First was this guy, clearly a wizened elder, and probably either evil or curmudgeonly.
1/30sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 11mm
1/40sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 15.74mm
And then there was this Skeksis, bathed in a brilliant purple light.
1/80sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
1/80sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 25.7mm
He sat upon quite an impressive purple throne.
1/80sec, f/2.8, ISO 800, 8.8mm
I know it’s a bit odd to go to an exhibition for a series I didn’t watch, but I’m always interested in behind the scenes stuff. Plus, this was a free exhibition, and one of those things we could just do on a whim back in our child-free days. This was all pre-covid of course, which were different days for everyone.
Still, the pictures came out pretty well for the challenging circumstances, especially the ones of the last couple of characters.

nov 20 log .・゜-: ✧ :-
today was not a good day
i was sent home early from work, so i hung out with my boyfriend. his mom bought us food and i felt so guilty that she spent money on me. i ate it. i feel so disgusting and disappointed in myself. his mom is such a sweet person too. i guess i’ll just restart my f@st tomorrow.
i’m going to wake up early and go on a nice long walk. i need to get back in my routine, this past week has been horrible.
on the bright side, my boyfriend bought me a promise ring! it’s very small and dainty i love it. i like that it doesn’t look like an engagement ring. a lot of promise rings look like engagement rings. i’m very happy with mine!
i cleaned my room today and played minecraft. i love minecraft so much the music is so calming and nostalgic. i played for like the past two hours, i’m so sleepy my eyes are like burning.
i really really don’t want to go to work tomorrow. i’ve been working so much lately, honestly i’m just waiting for school to start again for me so i can stop working so much.
i’m going into medical imaging, and i need to complete three semesters of general classes before i can apply for the program. i’m a little scared tho, i’ve never been too good at school and my grades have not been the best in my schooling career. but i really want to change my life style and studying habits. i’m hoping that i can bring my gpa up high enough to be able to apply. my current gpa is a 1.8 and i need a 2.5 to apply. manifesting good grades for myself!
anyways, that’s about it for today. don’t know if anyone actually reads these but if anyone has, thanks for tuning in for todays log!
goodnight :3

These people are fighting the Mac proper we see them seeking us all the time and the Mac proper to informers and other and we intercepted in his violent and the steadily activity and they don't see it at all I can't really explain it to them we have to get rid of them. We released information it's Time to kill them All and we have to get to it anyway we can I'm setting the priorities where they should be and we're going to start going through these people and doing our projects with a lot of gusto that is one thing it's going to happen starting today
--another thing is this town is full of bums it's supposed to be rich people and they're injured they're senile they're sick and they absurd and they're ranting lunatics and mental patients and most of them are retarded and overtly it's an embarrassment but hey you know he says we should expound on it as much as possible in every avenue and unrelentingly in order to try and get an edge and we're going to continue doing that we have to take advantage of it if they're dumb enough to do this to us then they are going to pay for it and we do trace it down to the Mac proper doing it and these people don't know any of this stuff they're really out for lunch
--we have some reports it's midday so not a ton is happening but the waves of radiation will be 132 p.m. 1.8 rad down to 0.7 rad at 2:01 p.m. 2:35 p.m. 2.0 rad will taper down to 0.7 rad at 3:05 p.m. roughly 4:01 p.m. 2.5 rad will taper down to 0.7 rad at 425 p.m. and 0.3 rad at 5:00 p.m. and then we'll have the overnight experience at about 1.2 to 1.7 rad they'll be four or five waves. The sun has recovered and as of right now is that about 68% we did say he was at 76% or 77% when he was down to really 74% but yeah he he's down around 72% right now at the end of the day when he off castles before the second cycle begins which is on the way out when it starts to heat he will be at 70%. So yeah he went down probably about four points last night and today that's a lot it will continue to work but he does off gas it during the night and he gets a few doses you should be around 68 by tomorrow morning it seems harder but it's not really we don't think bja will break those in Mexico or Africa tonight he is infiltrating and he is trying not to draw attention and it seems to work there's another major development
---this guy John remillard is a pain he's going to be moving out sometime this week he is a huge loser and a giant a****** but this week is what we think is the is the week and he's going to leave and he wants to do certain things he's trying to hit Aunt Rosemarie and it is not good for her and he wants to have her son go to the funeral and as you know it's customary for people to pay their way but he would be acting as one of the family members not the immediate family and says he'd pay the way in all the stuff and he was saying it before everyone wants to see him and her son is wondering what the hell that would be all about but the other relatives are the same crew here so it's really possibly coming about because of the Grand canyon they thought it was going to be about the pseudo empire and the Midwest and a son and daughter are wondering they can see the lake that was not around but really doesn't mean that anything is down there and we know that they looked and they couldn't tell what it was. So yeah they don't know so they want probably that to happen and they keep doing it to people so that's the deal there and he said to get an airfare and put him up and then they try and shovel the s*** off on him he has no way of transporting it and that's a problem but Rosemarie had money and she had she has vehicles trucks and things they've got four pickup trucks when's the F-350 super duty this is still not big enough and it's not really it could only you can bring the slingshot in the bike that's it so he doesn't have money to drive a truck around oh Jesus. So this lady had him break a tooth thing but he's been saying they're dangerous and they are this plastic is terrible so he's not going to buy those again but they work in a pinch and they're very sharp.
-they want her to have a funeral and him to go to it and him to get stuff and they said they'd move it down to where he tells him to put it he doesn't have a place to put it. There's a lot of people around there's a lot of places that are empty bought a house is and there's still nowhere to go for him if he can think of not off the top of his head the storage place right down the street and he could probably do that and you'd have to buy a cover for the Rev track and a cover for the slingshot and people are saying it it's crazy he's having a lot of trouble. He plans on doing this when he leaves and our son is wondering why he thinks this early probably is meaning that he does not have a place to store it and does not want to pay for storage in the event that it's junk or when it gets to stories it gets tampered with so he just be stuck with a storage bill and he'd have to auction the thing it would probably give him a couple hundred bucks that's the way he should look at it cuz it's reality. No there's no other deal is not true you might have money at that time and he might be able to rent a truck but he still says does it run and he'd want to rent a truck big enough for both of them it cost a bunch of money to come from Arizona it would be probably okay $800 which would be worth it the Can-Am is worth about 15 grand and he could probably get 12 the slingshot is worth 25 Grand and you probably get 18 or so and that's a lot for him it's a lot of money and she would want him to have the stuff because he's a little boy and helped her one day and our son says that I'm going to help her because she's got one freebie coming from Mac Daddy and he's going to have to go there anyways if that happens and it's forced and she says thank you and he says you're welcome and Uncle Rosa didn't get revived but another character did and it's got several since then is Ken the lawn mower guy there's a few there's a few there and she says I know it all all about that so and they're going to go ahead and hope that they don't do that it makes their stuff weaker and choose always pretty decent to him. So we're going forwards with this now not this part of it but we're going forward with our plan and we are saying that other things and October is coming just a few days away and it'll be much better yes and her son will be below 70% tomorrow and throughout the week it's going to be like this it's very intense and he probably will be at 50% by Friday and it going to be outside and two rad is pretty steep but it is exponential these sons and daughters of trump can really take two rad for a few weeks off and on right now they're not doing good and they don't know it but yeah it's kind of rough on them.
-there are other things but Hera is thankful and says 50% is awesome and we say he'll start healing a little bit easier and more often and won't have to get a whole bunch of oxygen so which is good.
And she says hello and he says hi. She's laughing he's doing the routine from UMass with the Indian guy was really Jason
-there's another thing John remillard has reached stage four cancer he's a level four level five would be it mysticizes in the bone and stage 5 is the point where it's growing at certain amounts in each area of the body and it starts the same area I'm so people don't know if it's happened yet or not but he doesn't think it does for some reason but it is and eventually figures out who

Industrial Air Purifier Market: Global Analysis
In recent years, environmental pollution levels soared immensely on account of industrial expansion. While pollution has varied forms, air pollution contributes to around 6.7 million deaths globally each year. Estimates indicate China and India witnessed the highest number of deaths in 2019, reaching about 1.8 million and 1.7 million, respectively. The alarming surge in air pollution is thus expected to boost the global industrial air purifier market.
Besides, industrial workers, especially in developing regions, face occupational risks of COPD and lung cancer due to a lack of safety standards and high PM 2.5 concentrations. As per WHO, occupational risks like airborne particles result in around 13% of COPD cases. Our estimates indicate that the global industrial air purifier market will advance with a CAGR of 7.06% over the forecast period 2022-2028.
Air Purification Stimulates Industrial Expansion
While air pollution severely impacts human health, it has a heavy economic impact, equating to approximately 3.3% of the world’s GDP. As per industry sources, in 2018, disability due to chronic diseases resulted in an economic loss of around $200 billion globally. Global air pollution concerns have influenced end-user sectors to deploy molecular and particulate filters to curb emissions:
The Food & Beverage category is expected to witness the fastest growth in the end-user segment. This is mainly attributed to the need for extremely hygienic conditions to prevent contamination in processing plants. Molecular filters are widely employed to collect volatile chemicals, fumes, and gases using activated carbon beds in F&B processing plants. Since these cleaners are specially designed to prevent contamination, companies like Camfil AB have introduced CC 6000 ProSafe air purifiers, especially for F&B and life science industries.
The Power category dominates within the end-user segment, garnering the highest shares. The surged energy requirements in developed and developing regions have soared filtration systems’ demand to maintain airflow. Air compressors, in this scenario, are critical for the processing units to remain operational for prolonged periods without shutdowns. This has elevated the demand for new filter technologies to enhance performance. For instance, a coal mining company in China’s Shanxi Province adopted Anguil’s new air filter to capture ventilation air methane and convert it into electricity.
The Metal Processing industry generates high-level contaminants from metal grinding and cutting, leading to a prevalence of respiratory diseases among workers. Compact air purifier emerges as a major segment, contributing around 37.08% in 2021. Since these purifiers offer air extraction and cleaning of large volumes of space, their demand has advanced immensely in the industry. Estimates suggest that around 100 million metalworking fluids are generated annually in the US, affecting over one million employees. These factors have increased air cleaners’ demand, thereby driving the North America industrial air purifier market.
Government Measures Widen Market Scope
Several government bodies have enforced regulatory measures to maintain the industrial air quality in order to protect employees from adverse working conditions. These measures have thus fueled the adoption of air filters, majorly driving the market in the Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration recommended guidelines to maintain the indoor air quality in the US and Canada.
Canada’s government introduced the Federal Sustainable Development Strategy 2019 to 2022, which outlines sustainability actions in collaboration with partners to tackle air pollution.
In India, the Department of Science & Technology launched the Indigenous Photonic System for Real Time Remote Monitoring of Air Quality project to develop deployable air quality monitoring photonic system.
The German government aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by around 55% by 2030 under the Climate Action Programme and the Climate Action Act. It states annual reduction targets for individual industries.
Future Prospects of Air Purification Tech
As per Greenpeace Southeast Asia and the Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air, air pollution accounts for about $2.9 trillion in economic cost globally. This factor and its detrimental impact on health have created possibilities for technological advancements in air purification systems. For instance, IoT-connected air filtration systems and growth in the portable cleaners market are making great strides, from polar ionization to the use of nanofibers.
Furthermore, filterless magnetic air purification deploys a tri-stage micro-trapping method combining polarization, impingement, and accumulation for a ‘trap and kill’ outcome to eliminate secondary pollutants’ activation in enclosed industrial spaces. Therefore, the development and deployment of smart and cost-effective filtration technology will be a major driving factor for the global industrial air purifier market over the forecast period.
FAQs:
Q1) What is the total value of the industrial air purifier market?
In 2021, the industrial air purifier market acquired $2711.30 million. It is expected to obtain revenue worth $4306.88 million by 2028. Q2) What are the types of industrial air purifiers?
Molecular and particulate are the two major industrial air filtration systems, with molecular accounting for the highest market share.
