I had a thought and I figured you might enjoy it... When I first saw gifs of Malcolm flinching at the gunshot during the “who’s on the ground?!” scene, I thought he’d tried to run toward the house and Gil had grabbed his arm to physically hold him back from running into the line of fire and my Papa Gil loving heart damn near exploded (ngl I was kinda disappointed when I watched the episode and saw that wasn’t the case)

The Papa Gil last episode was SO good ohmygod. Gil is honestly thee best caretaker and he was the greatest dad ever!! Especially when he stood up for Malcolm after Ruiz insinuated that Mal doesn’t care about victims. And just. ahhhhhHHHHHHHH
