Rebekah Tied to Ezra & Daniel
written by Will Schumaker
I have written quite a bit about Rebekah. She is a picture of the virgin bride church New Jerusalem. I would like to show you more interesting anomalies with Rebekah.
Strong’s G4479 = Rebekah
If you do a search of Strong’s Hebrew 4479 it is used 3 times in Ezra and 7 times in Daniel. Nowhere else.
Rebekah in the Old Testament has a gematria (numerical value) of 307.
H307 is used only 1 time in Ezra.
Rebekah in the New Testament has a gematria of 153.
Strong’s H153 is used 1 time only in Ezra.
H153 is an orthographical variation of H1872
H1872 is used only 1 time in Daniel.
Rebekah is called a virgin in Bible verse 608.
H608 is used 1 time in Daniel.
So all these numbers tied to Rebekah point to Ezra and Daniel.
Daniel means “God is Judge”. God is seen as the judge of the world in Daniel and Revelation which is kind of a sister book to Daniel. Daniel 12:2 talks of the judgement of people by God to everlasting life and death.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Then of course there is a book sealed which I have posted on that I believe is the book of life. The gematria of this verse is 4479. Rebekah is G4479.
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
I fully see why Rebekah is tied to Daniel, the concept of judgement by God, and the stories and prophecies within.
However I had never studied anything on Ezra so I was wondering why Ezra?
A little background on Ezra.
Ezra is a descendant of the High Priest, Aaron. He is the scribe and priest dedicated to God’s law and to guiding and teaching the people to be holy. He condemned the mixed marriages. He stood against assimilation.
Ezra’s name means “to help”. He is the helper of the people just like the Holy Spirit is our Helper to teach and guide us. Eliezer was Abraham’s servant who went to get Rebekah for Isaac. Their names both derive form the same Hebrew word meaning to help.
The first chapter of Ezra is chapter 404 of the Bible. If you recall Revelation has 404 verses in it. 404 is the gematria of “holy”.
The work of the Holy Spirit is to get us to act holy. Jesus describes the work of the Holy Spirit as a teacher, rebuker, and reminder.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, He shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 16:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Ezra was a teacher and a rebuker just like the Holy Spirit.
Ezra 7:10 For Ezra had prepared his heart to seek the law of the LORD, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and judgments
Ezr 7:25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not
Ezra 10:5 Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.
So I see the connection between Ezra and the Holy Spirit as the Helpers building the house of God. But how about numerically?
Recall that I am looking at Ezra because of Rebekah who has a gematria of 153. I noticed that Ezra notes his geneology and one of the descendants has a gematria of 153, Hilkah.
Ezra 7:1 Now after these things, in the reign of Artaxerxes king of Persia, Ezra the son of Seraiah, the son of Azariah, the son of Hilkiah,
The only verse in the Bible with a gematria of 153 happens to land in Ezra.
Ezra 10:35 Benaiah, Bedeiah, Chelluh,
So Ezra contains the only use of Strong’s H153, the only verse with a gematria of 153, and he has a descendant with a gematria of 153.
So I looked at verse 153 of Ezra.
Ezra 6:18 And they set the priests in their divisions, and the Levites in their courses, for the service of God, which is at Jerusalem; as it is written in the book of Moses.
The above verse has a gematria of 3875.
Notice Strong’s G3875 = comforter
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you
That is dead on.
Also H7307 = Spirit
The first verse with a gematria of 7307 is about Ezra.
Nehemiah 8:4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.
What is of further interest is that Ezra is the 15th book. The 15th letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the letter Samech. It means to uphold or support. It’s pictograph looks like a shield. Isn’t this what the Holy Spirit does? He upholds and protects us.
The Psalmist asks God to uphold (samech) him with the Holy Spirit.
Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Mine went back to normal after about a month. I know some people never have their taste go back to normal, and some it takes a good while
But if this is a new symptom that you haven’t had since you were sick (I’m not sure I’m reading it right), you may have gotten infected again. If you tested negative, test again for the next two days, that’s what my doctor recommended. Unless it’s been over a week since the symptoms started in which case probably you’ll test negative either way but hopefully it’ll clear up soon!
I’m not a doctor but I have Long Covid and have read a bunch so this is just based on my readings and experience, don’t take my word for it
yesh when my mom had it a couple years ago it lasted for 16 months it was HARD! I was deep cleaning the house every few days bc she thought something was rotting. I don't have THAT level of Weird senses which is why i dont know if it IS covid related? I noticed some weird things while I was sick but this is kind of new? within the last month or so. Feel fine and haven't tested positive so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ and when i do have to go out i still mask everywhere lmao
will probably stay inside and keep vigilant about it bc yesh its weird

ok, so, the first 3 books on your top5 hatelist i totally agree with. although the only one i've actually read front to back was 13 Reasons Why, it's understandable to feel nothing but contempt for that book, especially in the wake of that godawful show that never should've been given 4 seasons, much less greenlit in the first place!
never bought ready player one, but i read half of a friend's copy and listened to my favorite booktubers critique it. saw the movie mostly for olivia cooke. ngl, mr. cline feels like an incel who somehow got lucky by latching onto the 80s pop culture revival a few years ago. too cringey for me.
hemlock grove is an odd one, because i got introduced through the show (hello fanke janssen and bill skarsgard!) when netflix first became an online streaming service. what can i say about it other than GROSS! that series just makes me viscerally disgusted.
the other two i have not had the misfortune of reading, but i will take your word for it and stay way.
13RW GOT HOW MANY SEASONS, ive had that black listed since i finished the book 💀
im sorry to be the one to tell you this, but Netflix's Hemlock Grove live action series was worlds better than Brian McGreevy's books. Did the show follow the books? yeah! almost exactly! until the dinosaur baby, HOWEVER. THE BOOKS. God. okay the line that really stuck with me was "go suck an egg" and "go eat a tampon" what the fuck lol also i forget all their names but skarsgards sister? in the books? she gets out of the abusive family (YAY) by *checks notes* running away and marrying a 30 year old man. she is 16 years old. this is seen as a happy ending.
like the show was awful it sucked (mire than eggs) but it was awful in an entertaining way! you could laugh at how awful it was! if netflix hadnt removed it i probably wouldve rewatched the last season because the dino baby is HILARIOUS. The book was disgusting. Skarsgards character was a rapist but we loved him for it. Why, after nearly 10 years was this the book that stuck in my head.
#ezrs gets a letter#ezra reads hemlock Grove#i feel like everyone knows how bad rpo is by now#yeah incel nostalgic fantasy lmaaoo#gone by michael grant had an autistic character and they treated him SO POORLY#it was DISGUSTING#and that coupled with that time he said in twitter children (PARTICULARLY AUTISTIC CHILDREN) are a burden#i dont trust him i dont like him i will not read anything else by him#also apparently the Plot Twist in that series is Aliens

21. what is a total book turn-off for you?
the most common reason for me immediately marking a book as DNF is cat death, especially early on. also the usual fatphobia, homophobia, racism etc problems that have nothing to do with the plot. im tired of fantasy racism and fantasy misogyny get more creative with world problems lol
#ezrs gets a letter#ask games#this is like sudden things that the synopsis did not prepare me for#if a summary says characters must overcome hardships then no i wont be upset when i see them going through hardships#it said it right there on the tin

On making a glossary
A reader asked for a glossary so I have finally gotten around to getting it out of the database. I have wanted to for a while. It is of course still temporary - nothing is ever final. I managed to get it down to 3,595 pages. The process was difficult and there were a number of technical glitches. I went from database via an oracle package to an external html file. At first I tried 23 separate files, but that was painful and they clearly needed some formatting. I tried an html to pdf converter but some of the files would not process and when I put them into one file, it was too big (44M now down to 29M) The 'final' file was too big for ms Word to read so I brought it up in chrome and via ctrl-a pasted it into a blank word document. (It's possible it might open it now). Then I saved as docx. From there although very slow with Word repaginating 3595 pages every now and then, it was possible to save as pdf. Word crashed if I tried to look at it in a printer or almost any other form before saving it. To develop the package I had to work out a say to break by stem, and collect the 'where found' into a sufficiently small space. For now I want to be able to reproduce it in as few steps as possible since it is subject to correction as I will demonstrate with this first sample. Here you can see the longest word with the stem אב - is it this one ולאבותיהם? There's a very strange looking one at the bottom of the list. (Now fixed). I have no idea how this one happened! Often an error will uncover a pattern of errors. But this one is impossible on all counts. Even my earliest algorithm for recognizing stems would never have deleted a tsade. And certainly not reversed אב to בא. So this looks like a one-off. Tsaade is of course in the 'first 11' (that's a cricket metaphor). It is among the 11 letters that do not act in a grammatical fashion. The pdf is here. If you are game to scan it, please let me know about questionable things. אב
