Damn, it’s been a long time since anyone’s checked this account. Honestly kinda forgot about it.

But since we used it for journaling in the past, we figured it would be a good place to do that now. It’s just really interesting that someone who basically co-hosted for a decade suddenly disappeared for a while and just recently came back. We feel so whole with him around, and like ourselves again, if that makes sense? It just feels more like home having the usual people around. He’s made a few changes since he left, he’s more mature and cut his hair, switched some piercings and added tattoos, and finally changed his name to the variant he prefers. But his presence is the same, like a cool breeze on a warm day or playful lapping waves. Cool but comforting

Ezechiel pushed her away as soon as she tried to grasp him. He was holding back tears, he really couldn't start sobbing like a child in front of her.

"Ouch!", she yelled when she fell on the ground. "Ez! Stop acting like a kid! It's not you!" "Since when are you giving a fuck, uh? SINCE WHEN?"

Keep your cool, he thought to himself, she can't see you loosing your shit. Because Faith was his first love. Faith was the brightest girl around. Faith deserved better than him. Ezechiel knew he had no right to be so pissed. Yeah, she kissed an other guy, so what? She wasn't his girlfriend anymore. They went to prom together in sophomore, they dated for a while, then went on and off, and she was now with someone else.

"SINCE FOREVER EZECHIEL!" she shouted back. "SINCE I MET YOU IN FUCKING ELEMENTARY!" "SO WHY ARE YOU FLIRTING WITH ANOTHER MAN?" he screamt while she was getting on her feet. "TELL ME WHY!" "So that's what this is about", she sighed. "Yeah, I am dating Adam for the moment, what's the problem? You're jealous? You were the one breaking up!" "And YOU were the one who left!"

Faith crossed her arms, facing him, looking at him directly in the eyes.

"Dammit, Ezechiel. I left because we agreed we were hurting each other. Because I couldn't be your second mother, neither your nurse, nor your therapist. And you couldn't be here mentally for me. That was..." She stopped to take a deep breath. "That was the sensible thing to do." "You thought I wasn't worth fighting for." "You are, Ez. I just can't. I need to focus on my studies, on my life, I don't want to stay in that shithole for ever! I have ambitions in life, Ez, and all I have is my brain, do you understand?"

He could feel the tears devalling his face. He knew better than getting angrier and angrier, Faith was right.

"I love you, Ez. Dearly. But I can't look after you." "...I know, Faith. I am... just being unfair to you. You... you deserve to be happy and... yeah. I don't even deserve your love and all."

She looked away.

"Adam's a chill dude. Booksmart, kind, passionate. He's good. You'll be happy with him."

And it doesn't matter if I am not, he thought. Faith couldn't keep up with his teenage angst, and she had her own burdens.

"Ez... Here, take a tissue."

He took it as she offered.

"We are still friends. I am forever in your corner, you know that?" she said gently. "I... I know."

I just want to be with you. He said nothing, already feeling guilty and shameful for tearing up like a baby.

"Let's go back to the party, shall we?" "Lead the way" he whispered the same way he would've told her "I love you".
