My feelings on I Saw The TV Glow, which may include spoilers to some degree, mostly just based on general plot and nothing specific. I highly recommend going into this movie blind.
I Saw The TV Glow was such a deeply unnerving commentary on the feeling of knowing what you could be, but ultimately hiding in the familiar, current self. Fearing that big of a change and never truly getting to experience how wonderful the possibilities actually could be.
I think what resonated so deeply with me wasn't even the allegory of being transgender (though this is part of a bigger whole), but rather the experience of feeling... Incomplete. Of being an "other." The experience of being a kid who feels different, who knows it, but can't figure out why.
Then, instead, you escape into fiction.
Imagine yourself as a TV character, as a narrator in a story, as something bigger or better than yourself. Having psychic powers or being an alien or anything unrealistic would make it so much easier to explain the painful feeling of not seeming quite right. But it isn't true, and so you never face either possibility; the possibility of being something fictional, and the possibility of being your true self.
This movie left me feeling half-dissociated. I felt like I had just been transported back to age ten, before I knew I was queer, before I knew I was trans. A time where I would will myself to believe that I had powers, or I wasn't human, or there was some truly special thing about me, just like my favorite fictional characters. I still feel this way sometimes. And I wonder what I'm shoving down inside myself in favor of these imaginary thoughts. I know, deep down, how I am different. And, like Owen, hide in fiction and in myself.
#i saw the tv glow#isttvg#you cannot even fathom how much this movie has effected me#it is so beautiful#the best way I can describe the experience of watching this movie was that I didnt cry#but I felt like I could burst into tears at any moment the entire time#eyes wide and watching and feeling so unbelievably seen in return#I wanted to cry the most during the 'There Is Still Time' shot

Still thinking of Dadbod!Miguel to this day…
“I wonder what she’s up to right now. I hope she’s having fun.”
Your voice rings against the tiles of a shared bathroom, the lights of the grand mirror bleeding into the dark bedroom adjacent to it. The only other light illuminating the space was the tv, which was for nothing because no one was watching; it was merely background noise.
“Probably running and yapping circles around them, keeping everyone up, as per usual.” You hear the rich timbre of your boyfriend from the bed. You lean back from the sink to search his expression, a knowing smile accompanied by a raised brow, framed by bifocals hanging low on his nose. Everything about your partner exuded strength, except in his vision. Poor thing could never quite make out the words of his books without them.
You and Miguel knew how energetic Gabby was. It explained her unbelievably crazy stamina showcased in her soccer games, scoring goals for her team. And as if it wasn’t uncontainable enough, Miguel insisted on always getting her ice cream afterwards, failing to turn down her precious little pleads for a sweet treat. Even though you’d give him the look, you could never deny her either. You were both push overs.
“Sounds like someone I know.” You mirror his expression, the tease in your tone registered by him.
“Hey, I’ll gladly admit to being the reason for keeping you up at night.” The gravel of his words and his dashing smile makes you retreat back to the mirror. You apply the last step of your nightly routine while smiling like an idiot. You could always play cheeky with Mig, but nine times out of ten, he’d match your energy or double it, so inevitably, you’d always lose that contest. But you didn’t mind it. You loved that Miguel was always turned on, even by the smallest of things. He was always hungry for you.
Taking your bashful giggle as a sign of his victory, he returns to his book, one that looks too small for his hands.
He speaks whilst eyes are glued to the page, “But I’m sure she’s having fun, mamita. She’s always adored her cousins. And her uncle, for that matter.”
“Gabriel is pretty good with her.” You say with a smile as you leave the bathroom.
“Yeah, maybe too good. Starting to think you and him are the favorite.” He sets the book and his glasses onto the nightstand to draw his attention all on you: the most gorgeous thing he’s ever seen, even bare faced and in pjs.
With curled lips and folded arms, you look down at him. Like a child waiting for his teddy bear, his arms spread out for you to fall into, like he does every night when he waits for you to finally come out the bathroom.
“Babyyy, not true,” you can’t help but look all over your man, the bed frame only just fitting him; The figure of a man who maybe lets his daughter choose dessert over sliced fruit too much, but that’s more than okay. More to cling onto at night.
You climb into bed, the sheets feeling nice and warm, but nothing compared to the beautiful blend of cushion and hardness your boyfriend has somehow mastered.
“Mamita… Gabby is crazy about you. She wouldn’t stop asking for you after the first time you went to her game with me.”
“I know Gabby loves me, but it doesn’t mean she loves you any less.”
“Oh, I know, I know…” you both shuffle in bed as you find a comfortable position for the night, tangled bodies exchanging equal parts of coolness and warmth. Miguel flinches and lets out a small ‘ay’ when your frozen-solid feet touch his legs, to which you softly apologize immediately, adding a kiss.
“But she really is in love with you. She’s actually, uh…”
He looks down at the minuscule space between you two, looking to finish his sentence,
“… been wanting to call you ‘mom’ for a bit now.”
You smile widely at the admission, “wait what?!” Your quiet disbelief makes Miguel smile, too.
“Yeah,” his voice softens. “She’s just been nervous to say so, but she’s told me.” His fingers trace shapes on your outer thigh, his gentle gaze spilling with adoration.
He lets out a short huff, “What can I say, it’s hard not to fall completely head over heels with you. I don’t blame her.” As if you couldn’t get any closer to him, he presses you against him even more. The air of his words hits your nose and lips slightly, the lowness and slight sleepiness in his voice stirring your core.
You don’t know what to say other than, “I just love you so much, Mig.” You shake your head faintly side to side. A million stars shine in your eyes, your smile ear to ear in this moment. And to think I got you and Gabriella as a package deal. I literally won the lottery. Seeing how you are with Gabby? That’s what got me sold.”
“Really?”
“Yeah.”
“…So it wasn’t the five star restaurants or the gifts or the trips-?” You fall into a fit of soft laughter with him.
“Baby, please, you know that wasn’t it!” You kick him under the sheets. For the entirety of your relationship, you always reminded him that the material things never mattered. You were huge on making sure he never felt taken advantage of, even though he took great pleasure in taking care of you.
“Nah, beba, I’m just messing with you. I know you’re not like that, c’mon now.” His hand messages your shoulder.
“But seriously… you’re such a good dad. I hope you know how good you’ve done with Gabby, even by yourself.”
“I try. Thank you, mama.” He humbly whispers before planting a hard kiss to your forehead, inhaling your scent.
“And thank you for treating her like your own. You treat her so good. Watching you two… I dunno, it’s like my fuel. So thank you for accepting her. And for accepting me.” Your foreheads touch now.
“I know talking to someone whose got kids isn’t always ideal-“
“What?” You scoff.
“Are you kidding? The second you told me you had Gabby, I wanted to give you another one.”
And the look Miguel gives you is all too familiar.
“Oh yeah?” His eyes look you up and down. He mumbles, “You never told me that.”
“Well, it’s true, I did… I thought it was so sweet the way you spoke about her that first dinner. And when I came over for the first time? Seeing you with her?” Your eyes widened,
“Jesus, I’m surprised I didn’t let you stay the night and-“
“And what?” Miguel cuts you off, his own breath growing short.
“Nooo, I shouldn’t say.” I feign a shameful look, your eyes darting away and failing to stifle a smile.
“Nonono,” Miguel gets on top of you, forcing you to look up at him, “Don’t stop talking now.” He starts to laugh when you do, the both of you breaking out once again that night.
“Alright, you wanna know the first thing I thought after that dinner? Our five-hour-long dinner?”
You furrow your brows, “Oh God, what?”
“I thought…” he lowers himself down, racking through and locking his fingers into your hair, cradling your head, “that she’s the one.”
Your bottom lip pouts at the declaration. “Aw baby, really?”
“Yeah…” he pauses for a moment, a guilty expression painted on his face,
“and that I also wanted to stay over and do unspeakable things to you.”
Your head falls back into the pillow and you let out a shocked laugh, cupping your mouth.
“Don’t laugh, it had been a while for me. I was deprived.” He tries his best to stay serious, but your contagious laughter is impossible to not gush over.
“Well,” you catch my breath, “not anymore.” You bite your lip, “We live under one roof now. One bed.” Your hands trail up and down his hairy chest.
He grunts, his face falling to the crook of your neck, “Gracias a dios.” He softly murmurs into your skin, “‘cuz I dunno how much longer I could’ve taken having to say bye to you at the end of every night.”
“Me either,” your sigh out.
“Baby…” you continue,
“Yes, mamita?” Your neck muffles his words.
“Guess what?”
“Hm?”
“Gabby isn’t home.” You remind him in a whisper.
Miguel lifts his head, your words clocking into his mind.
Oh, right…
“Then what the hell are we doing? C’mere.”
He sits up on the bed, placing your legs on other side of his waist. with the most wolfish smirk you’ve ever seen, marking the beginning of a very,
Very,
Very long night.

Polycule love and deep space idea I may never write but it’s been plaguing me-
Completely and totally unedited I just have this picture in my head I can’t get it to leave me be. Also there is a severe lack of poly lads writing- please feed me.
Reader is MC in this for plot reasons you’ll see. Canon divergence but it’s for the PLOT.
Reader who dies on a mission- it was supposed to be an easy check on a small park with minor metaflux changes.
She’s rushed to the hospital and is declared dead. Zayne is crushed and inconsolable. He was the one who called it.
Caleb is still her emergency contact and he comes immediately. Rafayel who feels it through the bond. Xavier whose Hunter Watch is buzzing so incessantly. Sylus who feels half his souls rip.
As Zayne stands still in the corner wondering how the hell he is meant to even breathe now is beyond shocked when you take another breath.
And another.
And another.
And you’re alive.
Even though your body is broken you have a large easy smile on your face as you glance at him. Your eyes wide and easy, blinking owlishly at him
“Y/N” Zayne chokes out- his sobs have subsided into unbelieving gasps.
“Huh?” You hum easily. “I’m not sure what’s going on. Can I help you sir? Are you looking for someone?” You feel strange not panicking because the man in front of you clearly is. He’s beyond panicked- you watch fearful for a moment as ice trails up his arm. He’s gone quickly and you’re surrounded by kind faces and beeping and needles and then darkness.
The waiting room looks like the punch line to a terrible joke.
Xavier has his shirt on backwards and no shoes. He had simply appeared in the ER after getting the hospital name out of a distraught Tara.
Sylus is a ball of barely restrained fury. He had all the power and influence in the world and the nurse refused to tell him a thing.
Rafayel was strangely silent. He looked like he had seen a ghost. He stood, arms crossed and ghastly, shoulders near his ears and pearlescent tears in his eyes.
Caleb was taking heavy strides into the room they had all been bustled into. His colonels uniform swishes behind him, his jaw clenched and the room was already too small but suddenly it feels as if all the air had disappeared.
The room is silent for a moment as all the men stare at each other wearily. They had known they would meet eventually- each of them too entangled in you to not know of the other men in your life.
Caleb is the one who breaks the silence
“Where is she- I swear I’ll-“
The door abruptly opens pushing directly into Caleb’s already outstretched hand. Zayne- looking uncharacteristically shaken and haunted- peers at the strange group.
“Zayne.”
“She’s alive.”
There is an exhale.
Xavier relaxes slightly into the chair he is slumped in. The frenetic energy that buzzed around Sylus dissipates slightly. Air returns to the room. Rafayel’s shoulders release and his pacing stops.
“Great.” Sylus stands to his full height, his practiced facade securely in place, taking a step towards the door. “Where is sh-“
“She doesn’t remember who she is. She doesn’t know where she is. She died. And now she’s alive again. We don’t understand.”
Caleb feels like throwing up. Not again. He doesn’t know if he can remember for the both of them anymore.
Xavier has lost her again. He had loved her again and she had loved him. How long could he fight for? How many more times would he have to watch you learn him again?
Sylus felt the wound open again. The one in the center of his chest- would you be disgusted by him? Would you hate him? He would love you in every lifetime but would return to him?
Zayne was trying to stay strong- to find a logical explanation for everything. But deep down he felt the entire reason for his being crumbling. He had become a doctor to save you- to be able to hold your heart safely in his hands- and he had failed.
Everyone was so solidly grief stricken for a moment they didn’t pay attention to Rafayel’s easy smile and saunter. They were only brought into focus when they heard a soft scoff and a quiet “Amateurs. What, like it’s your first time? Expected better from the others her heart chose but look like I’ll take the lead on this one. Thanks guys.”
And with that he was out of the room and lightly humming to himself.
“Hi, cutie.”
Heheheheheheheheehhe thank god it’s out of my brain. Maybe I’ll write more. Maybe I’ll write better. Anyone want to see it?
Also can you tell who my main is from this? I think it’s obvious but maybe not ???
Edit: wrote the first chapter and yay here we go!

Before London
“Zari! Zari, come sit over here,” Trey’s voice yells as I enter the plane, walking behind Paige ready to head back to Dallas.
“Shit,” I mumble to myself, making the blonde in front of me chuckle.
“I gotchu,” she whispers, clearing her throat before her voice rises above the crowd’s. “I need some help with the gameday vlog! Sorry Trey!”
The man’s face falls, watching closely as Paige allows me to pass her to slide into the window seat.
“Thank you,” I say under my breath passing the blonde, the smell of her deodorant comforting me as it enters my nose. Paige smirks, sitting next to me and pressing her leg shamelessly against mine. I want to press back. But I need to remember our rules. Friends.
Walking into the bus for the airport many eyes had been fixated on me. Since my panic attack yesterday I had been feeling off, not quite right. Wearing the tight, uncomfortable clothes I had packed seemed like a nightmare, so Paige had lent me her hoodie for the flight home. For the first time my coworkers had seen me out of work clothes, which made me feel a little uneasy. Paige could tell, always smiling at me reassuringly when I began to feel unsure.
“You look good in that hoodie,” the blonde next to me grins as I buckle my seatbelt, eyes watching my each move. I give her a warning look. She only chuckles, raising her hands defensively. “Yooo, in like a friend way.”
“Okay,” I laugh softly, buckling the seatbelt. From the corner of my eye I notice the blonde’s eyes locked on me, a slight smile on me.
“Soo, do I get to drive you again?”
I laugh softly, feeling a familiar ease with the girl return. Since our talk yesterday after I freaked out both our moods had miraculously lifted.
“You want to drive me?” I ask amused.
Paige nods with that familiar grin I’d missed so much. I’m so enveloped in her presence I don’t even notice the plane beginning to take off.
“Bro I love driving you,” she admits.
“Really?” I ask. Almost embarrassingly needy.
Paige leans back in her grey Nike tech, resting her head on the seat. “Yeah Iz,” she hums. “Best part of my day.”
I look at her for a moment, meeting her eyes, feeling butterflies grow in my stomach. No, just friends Zari. I quickly look away, gazing out the window noticing we’re about to take off. Before I can even ask, the blonde is gripping my hand hard, sending jolts of sparks up my arm, thumb rubbing my skin soothingly.
-
“Shirley temple, thanks,” I say to the brunette bartender, her dark eyes quickly finding me in the middle of the other players lining up along the bar. A wide smile spreads on the girl’s face as she takes my order, beginning to make it in front of me.
“You sure that’s all you want?”
The bartender is flirting, I can tell. She’s got that spark in her eye, that sweet grin on her face, that tells me she wants me. It tempts me for a moment, the idea of taking her to my hotel room and working her all night.
“What are you drinking?” Izzie’s voice interrupts my thoughts, the girl completely forgotten the second she enters my mind. Her hand grabs my forearm and instinctively I wrap it around her lower back pulling her to the bar.
“A shirley, whatchu want?” I ask, unable to take my eyes off her. The bartender huffs, continuing to make my drink eyeing the both of us but I don’t even notice. Izara looks so unbelievably stunning, in a brown halter neck top and a leopard print skirt, makeup flawlessly done but hair left naturally wavy - rare for the girl. There was an ease in her demeanor the past few days since we’d become friends again. And truthfully, I felt the exact same. Our game against Liberty had been a clear loss but at least I got a few shots in. I wasn’t overthinking the ones I missed anymore.
“A dirty martini. But I can pay for it myself Paige.”
“Shut up,” I laugh, ordering the drink for her and letting the bartender work, looking around the club. Some of the Liberty players had asked us out, and after a game that wasn’t a huge flop, I had been quick to agree, inviting Izara and the rest of the media team out with all of us.
With an easy coolness I pay for the drinks, tipping really well as I always did which seemed to cheer up the pretty bartender a little.
“Thank you,” Izzie’s sweet voice whispers, sipping on her martini and stirring it. I wanna tell her she looks beautiful, especially in the dim lighting of the club, the purple hue painting her skin. But I’m not sure if it’s too much, so I stay quiet.
“Paigeee!” Stewie’s voice rises over the crowd as she passes Arike, Lala, Lou and others, greeting them with a wide smile.
“My Husky,” the woman smiles, hugging me with one arm. “I think you owe me a drink since we won.”
I laugh, rolling my eyes. “Bro with the way you were flopping the second I touched you I think you owe me one.”
We laugh together, when I realise Izzie is just standing there, staring at us two.
“Oh yeah, this is Zari,” I hum, my hand wrapping around the dark haired girl’s waist without much thought.
“My brother’s such a fan of you,” the girl grins, shaking hands with the woman. Stewie smiles and nods.
“He’s got good taste. Nice to meet you,” she chuckles, quickly ordering a beer before returning to the conversation. “Why didn’t you tell me you got a British girl Paige?”
Izara and I burst into laughter, my hand quickly falling from her waist. A touch was okay, but I shouldn’t linger. A look was okay, but gazing wasn’t. There was a fine line between friendship and more that I was learning to tread carefully. But the urge to slip was there, bubbling beneath the surface constantly. But anything was better than not having Izzie in my life. My best friend in Dallas.
“Bro, no we’re not together,” I laugh, watching as Izara covers her mouth while giggling. There’s a hint of the faintest blush on her cheeks, but it’s gone as fast as it appeared. “She’s our social media girl.”
“Oh shit, my bad,” Stewie laughs. Zari waves her off with ease, shrugging.
“Here you are!”
Trey interrupts the conversation, grabbing Izzie’s arm with a tight grip and pulling her closer. My hand falls off the girl, and I can’t help the flex of my jaw as I watch the way the man is intruding Izara’s personal space. I don’t even know why he had to come. I think he should’ve just stayed at the hotel. Why did he think anyone wanted him here? I sure didn’t.
“Oh hey,” Izzie chuckles as Trey throws his arm around her shoulder. It angers me. What angers me even more is that the dark haired girl doesn’t seem to mind. She remains still, sipping her martini, popping an olive into her mouth speaking to Stewie with ease. About what I couldn’t tell you. They almost look like a couple. I wanna kill him.
“So where’s Marta?” I ask Stewie, trying to refocus my attention.
“She’s at home with the kids, you wanna go sit down somewhere? It’s so loud here and I wanna catch up.”
I glance at Iz whose back is fully turned on me now, engaged in conversation with the brunette, brown eyed man. I think he’s 2 inches shorter than I am. That makes me happy.
“Yeah lemme get another drink first.”
-
After four martinis I can feel the way I’m losing control over my gaze. My eyes were stuck on Paige, sitting between Stewie and JJ, sipping on her drink and throwing her head back as she laughs. She looks stunning, in a slicked back bun, black denim shorts ripped on her thighs and an oversized t-shirt, silver chains dangling on her chest, diamond studs glimmering in the purple light of the club. My sight couldn’t move from the way Paige’s veiny hands are wrapped around the glass, her complexion tan from the Dallas sun of early summer.
“I could live here for sure… Like start a family here and shit,” Trey is speaking my ear off as always. If that man was good at something it was talking without needing a single reply. So I let him blabber. Not that I’m paying much attention to what he’s saying, mind far too wrapped on the blond sitting in the far corner.
“You want kids?”
This snaps me out of my tipsy thoughts, my head turning to the man. “Huh?”
“You ever want kids?”
Really not a conversation I want to have right now. Or ever with Trey. Why is he even talking to me about this?
“Uh, yeah, I do,” I murmur and down my martini, letting it burn my throat satisfyingly. I don’t wanna think about it, about the life I gave up when I left Jasper. How even if I had a horrible husband at least I’d probably be pregnant, I’d be a mom soon. It was the one thing I had always wanted, to be a mom. Now I felt lost, worried I might never find that person for me - to have children with. I couldn’t bear to imagine it.
“Yeah?” Trey grins, revealing a row of white teeth. “How many?”
“Oh, I don’t know,” I chuckle awkwardly, putting my glass down. “Three, I guess.”
The man gasps, his hand grabbing my arm in excitement. “Me too! I want all boys. I could see you be a boy mom.”
I disagree so hard I can’t even fathom what’s coming out of his mouth. I always wanted a girl, more than anything. Trey clearly did not know me at all.
“Girl she’s so hot…”
I hear the two bartenders whispering to each other behind the bar. I snap my head towards them and notice both of the girls glancing towards, who else but Paige, and blushing.
“I know I’m straight but like… For her?” The red haired girl giggles. I roll my eyes, feeling annoyance rise to my chest, making it heave.
“Go ask for her number, she wants you for sure.”
“You think?”
“She was looking at your ass earlier.”
I feel hot in the face, angry, for whatever reason. I try to clear my throat to get their attention, to order another drink and partly to stop the conversation. But they don’t hear me.
“Fuck, okay, I’mma do it. Wish me luck.”
I watch as the red haired girl walks to the table, holding a tray of drinks I guess the group of girls ordered, obviously swaying her hips from left to right in an amplified way. Surely she was delusional, it would be stupid of Paige to be getting with random bartenders as famous as she had become.
It’s as if they move in slow motion, the girl leaning down with a bright smile placing the tray of drinks on the table. Paige’s blue eyes flash as she looks the bartender up and down and flashes that smug, flirty grin I knew much too well. The girl exchanges words with Paige, though I can’t hear over the thumping beat playing loudly. But from the looks on Stewie’s and JJ’s face I can tell it’s something flirty. The blonde digs her phone out of her pocket and allows the red haired girl to type what I assume to be her number in it.
“What can I get you?” The second bartender asks, as I lean against the bar, eyes sharp and watchful. I don’t hear her. I feel my face turn red, a strange frustration swelling up inside me. I wanted the girl to get away from Paige, my Paige.
“Zari? You tryna order?”
“Uh what?” Suddenly I snap out of my head as Trey taps me on the arm. The bartender is staring at me with expecting eyes.
“Would you like something to drink?” She asks, her voice overly sweet. I decided I didn’t like her either, because why had she egged the red girl on?
“Uh, just a vodka soda, please,” I mumble, digging for my wallet.
“I got it,” Paige’s familiar, low voice murmurs from behind me, sliding her card smoothly to the bartender. I feel her front press into my back as she reaches over, the heat of her body making my mind spin.
“Thought you already got your drink,” I huff, and it comes off much more rude than I intended.
I feel the blonde chuckle soundlessly, her warm breath teasing my ear. “Need a straw,” she says, grabbing one from the holder set up on the bar. I feel irrationally upset, even more so now that she had paid for my drink. The moment it’s handed to me I scoff a quiet thanks, pushing off the bar and walking away with urgent steps. Paige is persistent as always, following close behind me like a puppy.
“Yo you good Iz?” She asks. The alcohol was hitting me, making my brain stupid and inconsiderate, words spilling from my lips before I could think them through.
“I don’t want to talk to you.”
Paige scoffs loud, still following at my heels as I hurry around the club aimlessly, trying to shake her off. I should know that was impossible with the blonde.
“What’s your problem?” Paige asks. I roll my eyes, but don’t answer. Frankly I don’t know what the answer is. I search my brain, looking for any valid reason or excuse for me to be mad. Because I couldn’t deal with the answer being that I have feelings for her. I just couldn’t.
“Nothing, just leave me be.”
Paige grabs my arm, stopping me and holding me still with ease and flipping me over to face her. My green eyes circle the walls of the club as we stand on the edge of the dancefloor, lights flashing purple, pink, blue, avoiding her gaze, her ocean eyes.
“Iz, what the hell is going on?”
I scoff again, shaking my head. “You’re being stupid. Flirting with random bartenders. You’re famous like actually famous. You need to be smarter Paige.” Good excuse. I almost believed it myself.
Paige furrows her brows, taken aback. “Bro, huh? Whatchu talkin about?”
“The girl you idiot!” I’m speaking with my hands now, flailing them everywhere, forcing the blonde to let go of me. “If she goes to the press it’s gonna be everywhere!”
“Who cares? I did nothin’ wrong! I’m single,” she argues back. She’s right. I was gonna lose this fight.
“Shouldn’t you focus on getting your game right first? Maybe that’s why you haven’t been doing as well, you’re unfocused.” It’s a low blow. I don’t even mean it. I knew how in her head Paige was about her games recently. I regret it the second it leaves my mouth. I should never drink again.
Paige goes silent, and raises her brows, kissing her lips with a bitter smile. “Wow Iz, fucking wow.” And she turns around and leaves me standing there alone.
-
“Hey, everyone’s start is hard. Don’t get in your head about it. You’ll find it.”
Stewie’s been staring at me staring at the floor and moping for the past ten minutes, sipping on my drink and biting my nails. Her words are so sweet that I don’t have the heart to tell her that my game is the absolute last thing on my mind. I’m still trying to comprehend the conversation between me and Izzie, the attitude she was giving me and wherever it was coming from, because I had no idea. I cross my legs, huffing and nodding as if to acknowledge Stewie’s words, though my head was filled with images of Izara’s stern face, the way she rolled her sharp eyes and crossed her arms over her chest, the way her voice sounded once she got angry. Everything about it had turned me on, insanely much. I’m really in it huh?
“Unless you’re Miles, now that girl’s been hooping,” JJ chuckles. Stewie nods with a smile, agreeing.
“Yeah she’s had a good start this season.”
JJ gets up, looking over at us two. “Anyone want another drink?”
I shake my head, still working on the fruity concoction I had ordered last. Once we’re alone, Stewie turns to me, studying my face.
“You good?”
I shrug, leaning back on my seat.
“Ohh, it’s a girl huh?”
I grin and nod. “Always is.”
Stewie nods and looks around, watching the way my eyes glared over Izzie who was sitting next to Trey, looking at everything but me.
“It’s the British girl huh?”
“She’s…” I murmur, taking a sip of my drink. “She keeps me on my toes I’mma say that much.”
“Uh oh,” the woman laughs, clearly expecting me to keep talking. It works, the drinks making it easier for me to open up.
“Nahh, I’m playing. We’re just friends. But now she acting crazy over how I’mma ruin my public image or some shit by getting a girl’s number,” I groan. “Like she was forreal upset.”
Stewie listens with a small grin, nodding and glancing between me and the girl I was staring, my chest aching to touch her the drunker I got.
“I see that basketball IQ doesn’t translate to real life huh?” She asks. I don’t understand what she means. Reading my confused expression Stewie continues.
“I don’t think she wants to be just friends. I think she’s jealous Paige,” Stewie nearly laughs at my ignorance. I’m about to get defensive, knowing this was a ridiculous thing to say. Why would Izzie, who wanted us to be friends, who kept rejecting me time after time, be jealous over me? But there’s no other reason, no other motive for her actions that makes sense. Izara is jealous over me.
-
I enter the women’s bathroom, trying to mull it over in my head. Had I had it wrong this entire time? Maybe Izzie had feelings for me, the same kind of feelings I had for her. She was just better at hiding it. The girl was always cool, calm and composed. Of course she was good at hiding it. It only makes sense. I walk to the sinks, watching my reflection in the mirror when Izzie opens a stall door, heels tapping on the marble of the floor as she walks to the sinks.
Her green eyes lock with mine in the mirror, her face still hard and stubborn. She’s not gonna talk to me, her gaze swiftly moving to the sink where she’s washing her hands diligently. Fine. If she won’t I will.
“Hey,” I say. Without looking at me she responds.
“Hello.”
I approach the girl, stepping closer to her. I needed to talk to her, I hated the coldness between us, even if it hadn’t lasted for longer than the past hour. Every minute we spent not together felt wasted to me.
“You thinking about heading back to the hotel soon?” I ask in hopes it would be enough to show effort for reconciliation. Instead she furrows her dark brows, turning to me.
“What you’re not gonna go home with that girl then?” She crosses her arms, green eyes even more vibrant in contrast to the black lining her waterlines. Not reminding me as much of the deep dark green of the forests back in Connecticut, but more so like the bright green of the first blades of grass pushing through the dead ground in the spring.
She continues before I can answer, face scrunched up in annoyance. “You know what, all those girls you bring home too, it’s so inconsiderate. It is so loud, it drives me insane! You should think of your neighbours once in a while, you know!”
Stewie was right. She’s jealous. Actually jealous of me with other girls. An involuntary grin begins to grow on my face, as I gaze down at the girl, loving the way she was a couple inches shorter even with heels. Thankfully the bathrooms are empty besides us two, because I’m too euphoric to even check.
“Honestly, it’s just being a bad neighbour and-” Izzie stops talking, noticing my expression, scoffing. “Why are you smiling?”
“You want me to stop?” I ask, my voice teasing.
“I- wh- pardon?”
My grin falls, expression turning serious, my voice turning low and genuine. “If you don’t want me with anyone else just say the word.”
Izzie’s eyes flutter shut for a moment as she takes my words in, cheeks beginning to redden as she comprehends them and what I mean.
“N-no it’s not that,” Iz murmurs, barely able to hold eye contact with me. “It’s just. So loud sometimes.”
I nod, stepping closer to her, our fronts nearly touching, electricity between us tingling, sending chills all over me.
“I’ll stop.”
“No Paige, you don’t need to. I don’t care about who you sleep with.”
“You don’t?” I ask, my gaze stuck on her face as her lips part to let out a shaky breath. She feels it just as much as I do.
Izara shakes her head slowly, never breaking eye contact.
“Are you sure?” I ask, tongue swiping over my lower lip.
We stare at each other for a while and I can tell the dark haired girl is thinking it over, considering every detail before admitting to something that might end in a mistake. Just as she opens her mouth to speak, the door to the bathroom opens, a group of women walking in. I quickly avert my gaze, Izzie doing the same as I take a step back and clear my throat, feeling the burn between my legs return in a painful, desperate way.
Izzie takes a deep breath, turning her back to me as she dries her hand wordlessly. I watch her, her shiny black hair and the way it swings in the air, her long neck and jaw, the sharp slope of her nose.
As the girl takes steps towards the exit, walking past me I grab her arm carefully, but sternly, pulling her close.
“I mean it Izzie. Just say the word and it’s done. They’re gone. Just a word, ma."
Iz breathes heavy, looking at my face with heavy lidded eyes before nodding. I let go of her, my fingertips burning where they had touched her skin. The girl exits the bathroom, leaving me on fire, a tingling in my lower abdomen making me dizzy.

Ollie Bearman x Reader
Summary: You give Ollie a special reward for his victory in Monza...
Warnings: Smut, NSFW content

“Ollie Bearman wins in Monza!!” the commentator blares. An uncontrollable, wide grin spreads across your face as you watch your boyfriend cross the line. The Prema garage erupts around you with joy.
You join the rest of the Prema crew in the pitlane and watch as Ollie stops his car in front of the #1 marker stand. He leaps out, pumping his fists in the air, and rushes towards you. His strong arms wrap around you in a firm hug. The adrenaline pumping through his veins cause him to hold you a little too tight, but you love how well you fit in his arms.
He releases you and embraces the rest of his team before heading inside to fulfil FIA checks before the podium. You wait impatiently to see him celebrate on the podium. After 15 minutes, they do the podium. He comes out, a huge grin across his face. He raises his trophy above his head and sprays the champagne over the other drivers on the podium. Then he blows a kiss down to you – instantly, you know fans on TikTok will be clipping that up, wishing he was doing that to them. You knew how unbelievably desirable your boyfriend was but had no intention of sharing him with anyone.
After the podium, you let him go and celebrate with the team and return to the motorhome to wait for him…
Ollie opens the door 30 minutes later. “Hey baby,” you say as he enters.
His soft brown eyes look at you. His messy, brown hair perfectly frame his gorgeous face. His usually curly hair
“Hey,” he replies, placing his trophy and champagne on the table and then walking towards you.
“How’s my winner feeling?” You ask.
“I’m exhausted,” he replies, his eyes closing as he hugs you gently.
“Well, you can relax now, baby. Let me take care of you,” you say. You capture his mouth in a soft kiss, beginning to undo his Prema overalls. You suck his neck, his heavy breath in your ear. You slowly peel his Prema overalls off his body and let them hang from his waist. You drop to the floor and remove his boots. You’re on your knees as you pull his overalls off, exposing his boxers and the noticeable bulge in them. You take off his socks and return back to your feet.
You start kissing him again. It’s more passionate and desperate now. Your lips crash together harder. You grip the hem of his shirt and pull it up. He gets the memo and raises his arms so you can pull his tight white undershirt over his head. “I love your body so much!” you exclaim as you expose his chiselled abs and toned arms. His mouth forms a wide grin as you take in the magnificent body in front of you.
His body is coated in a layer of sweat and champagne. It glistens in the light on his wonderfully toned body. You begin a tour of his perfectly sculpted physique. You begin at his tight pecs and gently play with his adorable pink nipples. You stroke your hand down his chest and over his sensational abs. Your eyes wander to the thick bulge in Ollie’s boxers, a malevolent smile creeping across your face.
You take a nipple in your mouth, tweaking the other with your hand. Again, he exhales deeply at your touch. Your cold hand against his warm body like a shock of electricity. You lay a trail of kisses down his body, over his impressive chest and defined abs, slowly dropping to your knees. The saltiness from the sweat and the velvety notes of Champagne mix to form a delicious concoction on your tongue. You kneel before him, face-to-face with his suggestive tent. You gently scrape your nails against his skin and under his waistband. You slide his black boxers off to unveil his thick, 7-inch cock which springs up, almost hitting you in the face.
It's the most beautiful dick you’ve ever seen. His pulsating purple head, already glistening with precum, makes you salivate instantly. His long and thick shaft is made even more beautiful by the bulging veins across its surface. A trimmed bush of hair frames his impressive cock and his balls, full of his delicious cum, look enticing.
You wrap your strong hand around his length. A soft moan escapes his lips as you run your fingers over his member. You begin rolling your fist along his shaft, his foreskin gliding back and forth to expose his head which beckons you to swallow it. His moans become louder as you stroke him faster.
“Are you liking it?” You ask him, looking up at his magnificent body.
“Mmmm…” he agrees, nodding his head, “I love the feeling of your hand round my cock.”
“Well if you’re enjoy this, you will love what’s coming next,” you reply. You stop pumping his impressive cock and move your mouth towards his meat. You see him shiver as he feels your breath against his cock. Then you slowly circle your tongue around his head. You hear Ollie exhale deeply and his cock throb at the touch of your tongue.
Next, you swallow the head of his cock in your mouth, and he lets out the most delightful moan.
“Fuckkkkkk,” he moans. This is all the encouragement you need to progress the blowjob. You slide your lips down his shaft and begin bobbing on his shaft. You start slowly and gradually increase the pace. Ollie’s moans become more desperate, high-pitched, and loud.
“You’re wearing way too many clothes,” Ollie stated through bated breath.
You pop off his cock and flash a flirtatious smile at him. “We ought to do something about that then,” you reply, returning to your feet. Now at face level, you hold strong eye contact until he places his large, soft hand on your cheek and pulls you into a passionate kiss. His pulls back for a moment and pulls your shirt up. You raise your arms, and he lifts your shirt over your head. He ogles at your body like you had done earlier before resuming the kiss. His hands start roaming your body, desperate to touch every inch of your body.
You break away from the kiss and say, “I want to get back to sucking your fat cock.”
“Strip for me first, please, babe,” Ollie says, pouting.
You pull off your socks and then slide your trousers off. You stand there in just your underwear and watch as he stares at your body, gently stroking his cock. You remove your underwear and drop to your knees again. You start by sucking his balls. They feel so full in your mouth. You lick a stripe up his cock and then envelop his cock with your mouth again.
Your eyes travel up Ollie's body to the Briton's soft face. The F2 driver's cheeks shone a shade of crimson. Your tongue forces Ollie's eyes to roll to the back of their sockets. You begin to bob quickly, sucking hard on 18-year-olds’s thick cock. The Prema driver places his hand on the back of your head as you pleasure him. Your hands hold his smooth muscular thighs legs. Devouring the length of Ollie's shaft, you suck the delicious cock. He grabs a handful of your hair and presses your face down so far that your nose presses against his pale crotch. You send waves of pure pleasure through the F2 driver's body.
“I’m close, babe,” Ollie moans. This makes you increase the pace. You take his entire length in your mouth. It tastes amazing and is covered in your saliva. You suck harder and faster until he explodes in your throat.
“Ohhhh, yessss,” He moans, followed by a string of expletives, as he finishes in your mouth. You swallow his delightful load. The salty taste lingering on your tongue.
“That was heavenly,” Ollie comments and he recovers his breathing from your intense moment.
“Now it’s your turn,” you say, returning to your feet.
“Okay, let’s take this to the bedroom,” he says. His strong arms pick your naked body up like a trophy and he carries you to his bedroom to have his way with you…

baking with enhypen 🥧✨

pairing: bf!enha x gn reader
warnings: sfw intimacy, physical contact, kissing, mentions of food
wc: 1k
a/n: some super warm and cozy domestic enha for you this sunday afternoon, i hope u enjoy :3 (i only write romantically for enha adult line !)
ೀ⋆heeseung
when you ask what he wants to make, hee immediately suggests coffee and walnut cake (he doesn’t even like coffee but he knows it’s your favourite)
gets himself told off for snacking on the crushed walnuts when you’re not looking. he grins mischievously at you, finding your exasperated expression endlessly cute, and resumes munching the second your back is turned again.
he slips his arms around your waist while you’re mixing the coffee cream, and rests his chin on your shoulder, kissing your neck softly. ‘hee, if you ever want to actually get to eat this cake do you maybe wanna help?’ you say, suppressing a smile. ‘mm-mm,’ he hums his refusal, earning an eye roll from you.
ೀ⋆jay
you just know that jay has to be out here choosing the most complicated and ambitious recipe ~ think sour cherry and pistachio danish.
he’s in the middle of rambling to you about how to get the compote a perfect gooey consistency, when you lean in quickly and give him a sudden kiss. you promptly return to looking at him expectantly to carry on, as if nothing had happened. he blinks, taken aback for a moment by the interruption, before smiling as he continues with what he was saying, detailing how absolutely *crucial* it is that everything be finished off with a brush of orange liqueur…
he loves to supervise from behind, watching over your shoulder as you roll out and fold the dough, using the excuse of ‘helping make sure you get it all even’ as he leans over you and places his bigger hands on top of yours, guiding their movements with his, causing your heart to race.
the danishes come out looking and smelling amazing, and as you stare at them, wide-eyed with excitement, jay can feel his heart swell with pride at you taking an interest in his favourite hobby.
ೀ⋆jake
jake insists on his auntie’s australian lamington recipe, enthusiastically declaring that he wants to make them for you to try because he loved them so much growing up ..’)
jake is the messiest chef, and he leaves the kitchen looking like a storm has just passed through - somehow he has managed to use last every cup, bowl, and utensil in the process of baking one little tray of cakes for you.
and of course he manages to get flour all over his face, and you laugh at his oblivious expression as he stares at you with big puppy eyes, confused why you’re laughing. he looks so adorable right now that you simply have to kiss him on his floury cheek.
later on, when the two of you are snuggled up on the sofa under a blanket watching your favourite show together, you realise you can still smell the sweet coconut scent from your baking escapade lingering on him when he leans in close.
ೀ⋆sunghoon
of course you and hoon are going to be making his favourite, tiramisu.
dusting the cocoa powder over the dessert tickles your nose and makes you sneeze like five times in a row, and hoon teases you about how cute your sneeze sounds for the rest of the morning.
he looks unbelievably fine stood there in front of you right now, you think to yourself, in his navy apron and pressed white shirt, brow furrowed slightly in concentration as he whisks mascarpone into a big mixing bowl. he looks up and catches you watching him, and your cheeks flush instantly.
the determined expression on your face as you grate chocolate over a bowl, sunghoon thinks, is maddeningly cute. before he can stop himself he’s reaching out to tuck a rogue lock of hair that has come loose back behind your ear. you don’t even have time to look up and meet his gaze properly before his lips are on yours.
ೀ⋆sunoo
together, the two of you are definitely on a mission to make this the prettiest strawberry lemon cake the world has ever seen.
his long fringe keeps falling into his eyes as he’s mixing up the buttercream, so he allows you to tie it up for him with a little hair band. you have to try *really* hard not to giggle or tease him about the way the little hair sprout wiggles side to side on top of his head as he vigorously whisks the cake mix.
while waiting for the cake to come out of the oven, you decide to check and see how it’s doing. as you open it up to take a peek, sunoo at your side wordlessly puts an arm around your waist, and instinctively you let your head rest on his shoulder. you feel an inexplicable surge of comfort in the warm moment. you stay and watch together quietly as the soft sponge of the cake rises steadily.
the decorating is his absolute favourite part, blushing when you compliment the way he delicately arranges thinly-sliced strawberries and freeze dried lemon pieces over the cake’s surface.
ೀ⋆jungwon
when jungwon suggests baking cinnamon rolls you can’t help yourself from laughing a little bit. ‘jungwon you literally are like, a cinnamon roll personified,’ you tease. he pouts, doing his best to look offended by your poking fun, but you can tell that really he’s enjoying it.
you had expected baked goods and jungwon to make an adorable combination, however, as you watch him now, with his hair pushed back and sleeves rolled roughly up, kneading the dough on the countertop, the muscles in his forearm flexing suddenly catch your eye and…. you feel the heat rise in your cheeks, flustered by the unexpected reminder of his surprising strength.
won holds up his complete decorated cinnamon roll for you to see, beaming proudly. as your eyes rest on the pastry, a smile plays on your lips. the surface is a little wonky, and icing is dripping unevenly round the sides, but it would be a lie to say that it doesn’t look delicious. you could tell how much care he’d put into making it. ‘for you,’ he tells you shyly. ‘it’s made with love.’

a/n: at long last, the end of this slightly different story I did for Napoleon last year. I wanted to write about a more quiet and intimate way of spending his birthday. Contains non-explicit nsft, MDNI. part i - part ii - part iii Happy belated birthday, Napoleon!
iv. insieme finiremo per cercare un posto quieto per nasconderci
The next day Napoleon is up before noon, and there's something laughably selfish about it that MC can't quite put her finger on, but she's not complaining. Napoleon makes up something about the fresh air and the climate messing up with his sleep, but he looks too excited for the day to unfold. Both he and MC are dressed up all in white today, with his linen pant legs rolled up just a little, giving him that boyish look that perfectly compliments his messy hair. His normal cleaning up is already everyone else's day-off look, it's unbelievable that he can get any more casual than that, but voilà.
The walk down the hill and to the beach is scenic, and with just enough obstacles to prevent them from eating all the food they packed before they can even reach their destination. The sun is high up in the sky and it feels almost weird to fall out of rhythm and have breakfast at a time that normally sees everyone leaving the table after their second meal of the day, back in the mansion.
The beach lacks the way-kinder-on-the-feet fine golden sand but it's not all rough stones either - a big chunk of it is taken by a wide rock, the surface smoothened by centuries worth of high tides. The vibrant blue of the sea is even more breathtaking when contrasted with the warm gray of the stone.
Napoleon and MC lay out their little picnic there, declaring themselves a pair of lizards. They still open the parasol, of course, using its modest shade in a semi-lying position that reminds of breakfast in bed. Olive paste spread over rye bread, peppers stuffed with ricotta, figs, white grapes, by the time they're all gone Napoleon talks about being sleepy again, and MC finds it hard not to relate, especially when he offers his chest like so. It turns out to be a passing drowsiness, a gap of time they fill with more chatter before the seawater becomes too enticing with its promise of cooling them off. With a pile of white clothes left behind, Napoleon takes in the clear waters that allow him to see the seafloor and a flame is lit in his eyes - the next second he's diving down from the rock, leaving MC to shout his name in betrayal as she lags behind due to properly folding her dress.
Brushing aside wet strands that stick to his forehead, Napoleon watches her make her way down slippery rocks, her two-piece bikini out of this world but simultaneously a sight he feels like he's seen countless times before. Because that's just how easily she fits right in, in his life. By the time she swims to his embrace he's reconsidered going underwater to pull on her leg, he must kiss her right now. And so he does. And so they're done pretending they weren't waiting for this the entire time.
The moment MC rises to the tips of her toes, Napoleon's arms secure their hold on her rear and lift her up, making her wrap her legs around his torso. Clothing is being shoved aside and out of the way. Napoleon whispers something about his next birthday wish involving going in nude next time they get in the water, and he makes it so the chuckle he receives in return morphs into a moan. The sea seemed a lot more waveless before they went in, or maybe the sea has nothing to do with it at all.
Chestnut-colored hair strands dance in the waters and catch the shimmer of the sun, leaving Napoleon unusually still and quiet even for the aftermath of their lovemaking, hypnotized as he is by the beauty of it all. They remain there connected under the water, surrounded by the moment in all its pure naturalistic scenery. Like they're the last two people standing on Earth.
The wet trail of footsteps leading to their spot on the rock disappears quicker than it would do in wet sand. The waterdrops on warmed skin dry about as fast, but Napoleon is faster when he chases after their cascading down MC's back, with his lips. It's salty, but his mouth is still sweetened by the kisses the two of them shared earlier.
Napoleon has many childhood stories from around the shore, enough to fill a whole afternoon with, and he keeps prodding at MC's memory so it could be tit for that. He asks again why they didn't bring that bottle of wine with them, reminding that it's not going to be 'that early in the day' forever, you know.
They take a walk and lament the absence of seashells which prevents Napoleon from showing a game he used to play a long, long time ago, and then make do with rocks that turn out to be no less eye-catching with their translucence. They only stop when it hits them that they intended to save some daylight for reading too.
It's not that the books are not of interest, if that was the case then the one hour spent in their hosts' home library picking them would have been a waste of time. It's just that Napoleon can't stop staring, and MC can't stop staring either. After the third time it gets annoying to lose your line, so why bother at all.
He tells her to remain in position, even with the book now closed and put aside - with her on her belly, and the sun still resting on her back, Napoleon soon straddles her legs and lets his large hands roam on her back.
After spending a good time admiring the tan line left by a thin strap and how it sealed their memory, seriously rivaling his awfully temporary in comparison lovemarks, he is no longer holding a grudge against non-nudity. And he takes her again under the setting sun, right there and then.
"Would you like me to carry you on the way back?"
MC tucks a strand behind her ear, the silky smoothness of her hair now replaced by sun-dried waves that smell like the sea. They're done gathering their things but she can't shake off the feeling that they'd left something behind. Before the terribly cheesy thought of that something being a piece of themselves can creep inside her already dreamy mind, she hurries to answer him.
"No, there's no reason for that, I can still walk!"
"Then, let's make a reason."
The mouthfuls of blood that were offered to him last night, politely turned down with a recognition of her tired eyes, are now seized in a true Napoleon fashion. It's a habit with him, putting a strategy in action until he comes out triumphant and with a smirk on his face that no one can wipe off. It's less contributed by getting his fill of the euphoric essence and more by the matching expression on MC's face, caught by the last rays of the sun bleeding in shades of orange. She doesn't complain being princess-carried back home anymore. This close up, she can easily remove the blood spilled on his chin with the back of her hand and retain some of their decency. Because it surely isn't hard to imagine whatever else the two of them were up to the whole day.

Un mondo fatto per due.
Back home, there's another surprise awaiting both the birthday boy and MC. It would appear that things cannot be kept secret under this roof, too, in case they'd started missing the atmosphere of Comte's mansion too much. The table in the garden has just been laid for the whole family but Napoleon is offered the central seat, under the sounds of birthday sing-alongs. He doesn't know which gaze to return first and ends up being rendered speechless and with a bubbling warmth in his heart that gets to his face. The attention doesn't bother him at all but MC still checks with a hand laid on top of his, under the table. His smile is dazzling when he turns their hands around and gives hers a little squeeze.
It's the perfect end of a perfect day, and Napoleon makes sure to repeat it a few times more times, for good measure, in a whisper close to her ear when he falls asleep with his head on her chest that night. Together with a handful of I-love-you's. Just for good measure.

Unbreakable Until You — Chapters One & Two
Take me to chapters 3 & 4
Chapter one: Whiskey. Karaoke, and Terrible Decision (Again)
The night started like all of Easton James’s nights off: with the intent to “take it easy” and the result of “somebody probably needs to call her mother.”
Griff’s Pub was packed, but Easton had a barstool with her name on it—figuratively,
“Another?” the bartender asked, already reaching for the whiskey because this was not his first rodeo.
Easton leaned in, her golden blonde curls bouncing with a life of their own and a glint in her hazel eyes that screamed bad choices incoming. “Make it a double. I have feelings I need to drown. Or at least sedate.”
“You’re unbelievable,” Nicole muttered beside her, sipping a vodka soda like it might shield her from the disaster unfolding in real time.
“Thanks, hon. I strive for excellence.”
“I didn’t mean that in a good way.”
“You never do,” Easton replied with a dramatic sigh, slumping against the bar like a woman who’d seen too much—mostly her own reflection in the bathroom mirror during emotional hangovers.
Their table in the corner of the bar was already half full: Ava was snapping pictures of the group and catching her best angles like an unpaid influencer, Austin was trying to order mozzarella sticks without making eye contact, and Emryn—sweet, bashful, very obviously crushing Emryn—was watching Easton like she was the second coming of tequila.
Easton noticed. Of course she noticed. She noticed everything except consequences.
“Emryn,” she drawled, spinning around in her stool like the sexy, unhinged tornado she was, “you’re looking hot tonight.”
Emryn blushed so hard it was visible in the dim lighting. “Thanks. You, uh—you look great too. Really great.”
Easton smirked. “You ever been told you have very good taste in women?”
Nicole groaned. “Oh my god. Can you just once go out and not emotionally mug someone?”
“Technically I haven’t even flirted yet,” Easton said. “This is me being polite.”
“This is you being two whiskeys away from karaoke and regret.”
As if summoned, Shania Twain came on the jukebox.
“OH MY GOD,” Easton gasped, grabbing Emryn’s hand like this was the last lifeboat off the Titanic. “Let’s duet. I feel it in my soul.”
“Now?” Emryn asked, wide-eyed.
Easton was already dragging her across the floor. “Yes now. Come on, let’s honor Shania the way God intended.”
Five painful minutes and one off-key scream of “That don’t impress me much” later, Nicole was questioning all her life choices, Ava was filming, and Austin was fake-proposing to a mozzarella stick.
Easton returned to the booth victorious and out of breath, her curls wild from the chaos.
“I think I saw a guy cry during that performance,” Nicole said.
“He was moved,” Easton said, fanning herself with a napkin. “Art does that to people.”
“You shouted the word ‘rocket scientist’ like it owed you money.”
“Rocket scientists do owe me money,” Easton said cryptically, then turned to Emryn with a grin. “You’re coming home with me tonight.”
Emryn blinked. “Wait, what?”
Nicole spat out her drink. “NO.”
Easton leaned in like a well-lipsticked devil. “Come on, Em. You and me. One night. No strings. Just… vibes and poor decisions.”
Nicole slapped the table. “You are not doing this again. She’s not a vending machine, Easton. You don’t just push a button and get emotional validation.”
“I don’t want emotional validation,” Easton said cheerfully. “I want orgasms and pancakes.”
“I hate you,” Nicole muttered.
Emryn looked torn between floating into the sky and throwing up from nerves. “I mean… I guess…”
Nicole stood up. “No. Emryn. Sweet baby deer. I am begging you not to go. You’ll fall in love and she’ll ghost you by brunch.”
Easton raised her hands. “Hey. I’ll Uber her home after brunch, okay? I’m not a monster.”
Emryn’s eyes darted between Nicole’s please don’t do this face and Easton’s I’ll ruin your life but it’ll be hot energy.
“…Okay,” she said softly. “I’ll go.”
Nicole collapsed into the booth like a dying Victorian aunt. “You’re all insane.”
⸻
Easton’s apartment was a chaotic blend of hot girl clutter and alcoholic feng shui. There were succulents on every windowsill—mostly dead, but hanging on—and a record player spinning Fleetwood Mac just slightly off-key.
Emryn stood by the door like someone who had made a series of increasingly bad decisions in under an hour.
Easton kicked off her boots and opened the fridge. “Want a drink? I have whiskey, wine, and one mysterious bottle of something that might be kombucha or gasoline.”
“Whiskey,” Emryn said quickly, like that made her more confident. It didn’t.
They sat on the couch, sipping in silence. Emryn watched Easton like she was trying to memorize her. Easton watched Emryn like she was trying not to.
“You’re really beautiful,” Emryn whispered.
Easton gave her a crooked smile. “So are you. Which is why I’m not gonna ask about your intentions.”
“You don’t believe in them?”
“I believe in orgasms and escape routes,” Easton said with a grin. “Commitment gives me hives.”
“I could be different, you know.”
Easton didn’t answer. Instead, she leaned in, kissed her, and let the silence say everything else.
Later, when Emryn had fallen asleep on her chest, Easton stared at the ceiling. Her mind should’ve been blank. But behind her eyelids, a memory flashed.
A message.
I can’t wait for our date tonight. I miss you so much.
She shut her eyes tighter. Drank the silence like a shot.
And fell asleep.

Chapter Two: The Hangover, The Girl, and The Existential Dread
Easton woke up to the sound of breathing that was definitely not hers and a headache that felt like she’d been hit by a bus full of regrets.
Her eyes peeled open slowly. Very slowly. She was on her stomach, one leg hanging off the bed, a pillow under her face that smelled like tequila, coconut shampoo, and poor judgment. Her arm? Draped across a warm, soft body. A girl. A human girl.
Oh. Right.
She turned her head slightly, wincing at the sudden explosion of pain behind her eyeballs. “What fresh hell…”
“Morning,” came a small voice.
Yep. There it was. The voice of someone who had no idea she was about to be emotionally side-swiped by a human landslide named Easton James.
Easton cracked open one eye. Emryn was curled under the blanket, wearing one of Easton’s oversized t-shirts and looking like a walking Target ad for heartbreak.
“Oh, hey,” Easton said, trying for casual and landing somewhere between hoarse and haunted. “You’re still here.”
Emryn smiled. “Yeah. I figured I’d make coffee.”
Easton blinked. Coffee? In her kitchen? Where there were probably empty chip bags and a dead succulent she hadn’t thrown out since 2023?
“Oh. Uh. Cool. You don’t have to—”
“I want to.”
Damn it.
Easton sat up, groaning as her body reminded her that she was not, in fact, 21 anymore. Her hair was a frizzy blonde disaster that looked like it’d been through a wind tunnel and also emotionally manipulated. She found her phone in the sheets. Ten missed texts. Three from Nicole. One that just said:
ARE YOU A MENACE ON PURPOSE OR IS IT INSTINCTUAL??
Easton typed back:
Both. Send hash browns.
She looked up to find Emryn standing in her kitchen now—barefoot, smiling, brewing coffee like this wasn’t the beginning of a romcom she was about to be cut from.
“So… last night,” Emryn said, voice hopeful. Dangerous.
“Yeah,” Easton said, scratching her head and standing to rummage through her drawer for ibuprofen and maybe a time machine.
“I really liked being with you.”
Easton froze. It was happening. The conversation. The thing she actively avoided by usually sneaking out or pretending to have the stomach flu.
“I—uh,” Easton said, stalling. “I liked it too. You’re great.”
“You’re different than I expected.”
Easton turned. “You mean more emotionally unavailable and less well-hydrated?”
“I mean… yeah. But also… sweet.”
Sweet?
Easton blinked. She didn’t do sweet. She did sour, with a side of temporary.
Before she could answer, there was a knock at the door. A very aggressive knock. The kind of knock that screamed best friend here to read you for filth.
“Open it or I break it down,” Nicole’s voice said through the door.
“Oh for fu—” Easton muttered, trudging over and unlocking it.
Nicole barged in, holding a bag of bagels and a cup carrier like she’d just come from the battlefield. She took one look at Emryn, who was now awkwardly standing in the kitchen holding a coffee mug like a hostage, and let out a sigh so long it could’ve paid rent.
“Morning,” Emryn said sweetly.
Nicole stared at her, then slowly turned to Easton. “Are you kidding me?”
“What? I made her coffee,” Emryn said.
Nicole looked back at Emryn. “Oh honey. That’s not coffee. That’s a love letter in a mug.”
Easton took a defensive sip. “It’s fine. We’re just… you know. Hanging out. Nothing serious.”
“You literally just made her breakfast in your feelings,” Nicole snapped. “And you’re wearing the soft shirt. The one that says ‘stay awhile’ but emotionally.”
“Nicole,” Easton said, voice low, “please stop before I collapse from secondhand anxiety.”
Nicole dropped the food on the table. “Fine. But I swear to god, if I have to buy Emryn Ben & Jerry’s and watch The Notebook next week because you went all emotionally constipated on her, I’m charging you for my therapy.”
“I’m not gonna—” Easton began, then saw Emryn smiling again, like this meant more. Too much more.
She looked away.
⸻
When Emryn finally left—after a sweet kiss on the cheek and a whispered “text me”—Nicole rounded on Easton like a pissed-off mom in a PTA meeting.
“What the hell is wrong with you?”
“Which part?”
“You are not built for women like Emryn. She wants romance and breakfast dates. You want… vodka and industrial-grade walls around your heart.”
“She knew what it was.”
“She thinks she’s the exception.”
Easton dropped into a chair and rubbed her face. “She’s not.”
Nicole sat across from her, quieter now. “Then tell her before she gets hurt.”
Easton didn’t answer.
⸻
Later that night, Easton laid on her couch, watching trash TV and trying not to feel the creeping ache in her chest that always came after she let someone see just a little too much.
~
And somewhere, in a town not so far away, a girl named Paisley Blake was packing a box of nursing scrubs, blue eyes bright and a little nervous, unaware she was about to walk into a hospital—and a history—that neither of them was ready for

feeling angsty. also ignore anachronisms i'm just in my feels man (also i totally didn’t know if i should of done a picture of kak or joot, cause it is platonically x joot but like romantically x kakyoin but i picked kak)
synopsis: kakyoin vanishes for 50 days before you could tell him you love him and when you see jotaro return from spending 50 days with him your heart sinks, knowing something is wrong
tw for implied death and possible spoilers!
Your console has been untouched for the last week. There’s really no fun in playing you and Kakyoin’s favorite game while he’s away and seemingly unable to contact you. Instead of sitting in your bedroom together with one of your best friends you’re curled into your sheets, anxiety ripping away your sanity. He’s been gone for just about two months without a single call, letter, or text. You have no idea why he went other than to help Jotaro’s family with something.
As you turn in your bed to get more comfortable, in the darkness of your room your phone chimes. The screen illuminates your whole room it feels like, not giving you any break from its brightness. You can see the message flash across and it’s from Jotaro.
“I’m at the airport.”
You immediately spring up, knowing if Jotaro is back it must mean that Kakyoin is too. Of course you’re happy that Jotaro is back as you’ve been his friend for several years as his neighbor – but you can’t deny you’re looking forward most to seeing Kakyoin. You can’t wait to tell him all about school and how your scores rival his, and how you’ve started a video game club at the school that you’re hoping he’s down to join.
As you rush to the airport you’re greeted by Jotaro and his grandfather Joseph. Both have solemn expressions which are out of place for both of them. Joseph’s cocky grin is replaced with a straight line and eyebrows furrowed. Jotaro has his hat covering most of his face with an ominous shadow. You run to them in both relief and panic since Kakyoin isn’t among them.
“Jotaro, where’s Kakyoin?” You ask despite fearing the stakes of this trip were higher than you could have imagined. But hearing Joseph’s breath hitch and his gaze turn from you two, you know Kakyoin didn’t make it home.
Jotaro watches the color drain from your face and your arms fall slack at your sides, grief striking you worse than he’s ever seen. Tears gather in the corner of your eyes until they overflow, an avalanche being witnessed by the Joestars. Joseph and Jotaro watch as you fall apart before them. Unable to stop your quickened breathing at the magnitude of what they just expressed, you cover your mouth with your hand to try and not draw attention to you three in the airport.
Joseph nudges Jotaro in the side, signaling for him to reassure you. Jotaro somewhat awkwardly raises his stiff arm to your shoulder. He waits a moment to observe what you do – really if his touch is unwelcomed – and when you stare up at him with that hopeless expression he feels himself snap too.
All that he’s kept inside of him upon seeing Kakyoin lifeless back in Egypt is on the forefront of his mind. He cannot mask his sorrow in the relief that his mother is okay or in the victory of killing Dio. His heart is weighed down entirely by grief at losing his only other friend – the only other person he trusted like he does you. With his hat covering his eyes he begins to cry himself for the first time in likely years. You watch with wide eyes, especially when he pulls you into a hug, unbelieving they’re back and Kakyoin wasn’t so fortunate. Jotaro holds you tightly against him as he slightly cries while you weep in contrast. He hates that he couldn’t keep himself together but he knows you’ll reassure him it’s not weak to cry. Especially over your best friend’s death.
“W-what ha-happened?”
“I’ll tell you later,” Jotaro says with the slightest shake in his voice. “Let’s just…” He trails off in his head, unable to think straight with the sorrow rampaging his heart and mind.
You give him a friendly squeeze while he holds you tightly in his arms, knowing what he’s asking for despite not voicing it entirely.
“Of course Jojo.”

hi! i’m so so sorry it took me so long to get back to you for the sanji/wife reader specifics!!
anyways, i was thinking a scenario (or headcannons) with 40 y/o sanji and the reader who are husband and wife. maybe have them wake up together with soft kisses on their anniversary? and since we’ve all seen how sanji grows his hair out, maybe have reader run her hands through it? thank you!
a/n: please don’t apologize, it worked out just fine! I have thoughts about 40+ year old Sanji so this was really fun to do! Sanji is slowly becoming one of my fav characters to write for. ❤️ Hope you enjoy!
featuring: Sanji x F!Reader
warnings: aged up!Sanji and reader (in their 40s) | married life | cheesy fluffy lovesick goodness
word count: ~610
Quiet mornings elicit tender confessions.
You feel the unprompted desire to pour your heart out as you lay with your husband on this tranquil early morning, keeping him close to you as you mindlessly toy with his hair. Listening to him hum contentedly as he fights the peaceful sleep creeping into his system, the softening of his features, how warm he feels against your skin – it’s almost too much, in the absolute best way.
“It really is amazing,” you mutter, thoughts still swirling due to overwhelming emotion but you know the feeling warming your heart has to be spoken of before you potentially combust.
Sanji’s eyes open in perplexity, slowly awakening as he turns his head to face you, asking a sleepy, “What is?”
Your fingers continue threading through his blonde locks, noting that this must be the longest they’ve been in the past twenty-five years you’ve known him. Has it really been twenty-five years? His blue eye watches you as he waits for your next words, and for a moment, you travel back in time.
That same blue eye, just beginning to show its age, with wrinkles from years of simultaneous happiness and turmoil taking form in its corner – it all fades into the youthful, spunky blue eye you fell in love with twenty-five years ago. Once wide with wonder, eagerly searching for the All Blue, now stares softly at his greatest treasure. His blonde tresses, tinged with strands of gray and slowly losing their vibrancy, transform into the short, styled cut he maintained all those years ago. A blonde as bright and yellow as the sun sitting high above the sea. His overall features have matured, rugged and worn from battles, but a certain charming elegance remains with him. He’s older, and different in so many ways, but he’s still your Sanji.
Tears well in your eyes and your throat constricts. Sanji notices and grows concerned as he suddenly sits upright in bed and grabs your hands in his, “Darling, what’s wrong?”
You laugh despite the tear that cascades down your cheek and Sanji is quick to wipe it away. When you can breathe fully again, you reach up to cup his cheek, smiling as he leans into your touch, “After all these years, I’m still so unbelievably crazy in love with you.”
He blinks for a second, then returns a smile that all but says I feel the same way.
“Do you think there’s a limit? Does love ever stop growing?” You question out loud, wondering if perhaps you love him a little too much.
Sanji reassures you by pulling you in close, so close his breath fans your lips. He gently holds your face between his calloused hands, staring down at you with that all too familiar lovesick look reserved only for you, “My love for you knows no limit. I’ll love you more tomorrow, even more the next day, and even more than that each day after. Even in death, my soul will only love yours.”
Your lips meet in an impassioned embrace, butterflies fluttering madly in the pits of your bellies like kissing for the first time all over again. Only he can make you feel like this after twenty-five years. Just as you two grow and change over time, you find peace in knowing that your love will only do the same. The weight of your love twenty-five more years from now will surely be too heavy to hold, but thankfully, you don’t have to carry it alone.
“Happy anniversary, my love. Twenty-five years down,” he whispers against you, smiling and chasing after your equally happy lips for more kisses.
“Forever to go,” you whisper back.

She’s the Only One
This is my first post! It’s the fake scenario I currently fall asleep to every night. I finally had to write it down. I’m not totally satisfied with it, I just usually fall asleep before it ends. Haha.
Pairings: mob!bucky x you
Warnings: violence, mild angst, fluff
The night had been going unbelievably well. It was the first time you were meeting Bucky’s friends. They’d taken to you instantly and you’d spent hours at a booth in his club listening to their stories, you’d hardly stopped laughing. Bucky was the happiest he could remember being. He couldn’t stop watching you, amazed at how natural it felt to be with you, easy as breathing. And he realized, as necessary.
Everything happened so fast and so slow at the same time, it was disorienting. Like a scene from a movie, suddenly bottles behind the bar started to explode as if in slow motion. The sound of shattering glass filled the room as screams erupted from every corner of the club. Bodies were dropping to the floor, some dead, some simply trying to crawl to safety. A group of men had opened fire, and their target was anyone.
You had barely begun to process what was happening when you felt a strong hand push your head down. You felt yourself being tucked under Bucky’s arm, his hand gripped your waist and he was half-carrying you out of the booth. He kept you behind him and you watched as his metal hand shot out in front of him. It moved with alarming precision, you heard the sharp “pings” as the bullets aimed at him were deflected off of his palm. He never flinched. You couldn’t close your eyes. You watched his face, hard with concentration. You couldn’t understand it, but you were not afraid. His men had convened into a line in front of you, returning heavy fire. Bucky led you both out through the kitchen and out the back door, into a waiting car. He had no sooner closed the car door and it was peeling away down the alley.
The car ride was silent at first. He was too afraid to speak, too afraid that if he broke the silence it would fill with you screaming at him for putting you in that situation. You opened your mouth to speak and he squeezed his eyes shut, preparing himself for the onslaught.
“Where are we going?” You asked, merely curious. His eyes snapped open wide in surprise. He could barely comprehend your casual tone. Of all the questions you could have asked, that was all you wanted to know?
“Safe house.” He said. You nodded, and took his hand as you leaned your head against the window.
The drive was long, and you’d eventually dozed off on the way. Bucky knew you had to be in shock. Nothing else could explain your lack of fear. No anger, no panic. Once you were asleep, he called Steve.
“Who the fuck was it?” He spoke low as not to wake you, but his voice was urgent.
“Rumlow’s boys. Ambushed us in retaliation for the deal with Zemo. We’re behind you. We weren’t followed. See you in a minute.”
Bucky snapped the phone shut, and crushed it into pieces.
...
He was beyond pissed, but he carried you like a baby, gentle as could be. The mix of feelings he had was making it hard for him to breathe. Furious, scared, worried, enraged. You looked peaceful, which was helping him stay focused.
He laid you on the bed and your body automatically responded to the soft sheets, stretching then curling up, and you let out a soft sigh. He felt his heart squeeze and tears pricked at the corner of his eyes. He pulled the blanket over you and tucked it under your chin. He moved an armchair closer to the bed, so he could sit beside you and reached out to run his thumb across your forehead. He didn’t know if you even needed soothing, but it made him feel helpful and he didn’t know what else to do.
“Is she ok?” Bucky tore his eyes away from you to see Steve leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, his face serious.
“Yes. She didn’t get hit.” He looked back to you. “She’s just sleeping.”
“How much did she see?”
“Everything.” Bucky said, a mix of rage and guilt in his voice.
“What are we going to do about it?” He put both hands up defensively, shaking his head in response to Bucky’s head snapping up, knowing what normally happened to witnesses. “I don’t mean it like that. I mean, what are we going to do for her. Is she going to be alright?”
Bucky relaxed slightly and returned his gaze to your face. “Full protection, around the clock. And she does not leave my sight until every last one of them is dead.” Bucky’s jaw tightened, the only sign of his fury, as he continued to softly stroke your hair. “But yes, I think she’ll be alright,” he said.
Steve nodded. He watched as Bucky noticed you moving. Still asleep, a frown slowly formed on your face, your fingers started to twitch and your hands turned into fists. You whimpered softly. You were having a bad dream. Bucky’s metal hand moved to gently massage the hard furrow between your eyes until your face relaxed again. He moved his hand to your cheek and leaned down to put his face next to yours. He whispered into your ear, “Shhh, baby, you’re ok. I’ve got you.” He nuzzled his face into your hair and kissed the top of your head. You didn’t wake, but responded to his touch by pushing your head into his palm, like a kitten. He resumed thumbing soothing brushes across your face.
“I’ve never seen you like this before, Buck.” Steve said. “This one is different.”
“She’s the only one.” Bucky said simply. Bucky felt weak, his mind forcing the image of what could have happened tonight into his head. He shuddered and instinctively moved to hover protectively over you.
“You’re in love, pal.”
Bucky didn’t look away from you. “I know.”
...
You stirred and stretched, slowly opening your eyes and taking in your unfamiliar surroundings. You turned to your side and saw Bucky’s figure immediately slide off the chair he was in to be face-to-face with you. He looked so sad.
“What’s wrong?” You asked.
“What’s wrong?” He almost yelled. “What’s wrong?! You were almost killed last night. I’m waiting for you to run screaming from this room! I spent the whole night trying and failing to prepare myself for you to leave me!”
“You didn’t sleep at all?” Your tone was only concerned. It was absolutely maddening that you were so calm.
“Baby,” he paused. He was truly confused. “I don’t understand. How are you so...ok? Last night, you could have died. Weren’t you even scared?”
You thought for a moment and answered honestly. “No.”
“Why not?”
You took Bucky’s face in your hands and looked him in the eyes. “Because.” You pulled him closer and gave him a long, firm kiss. “I was with you.”
He rested his forehead against yours and chuckled softly in relief. “Goddamn, baby. You are one tough bitch.” His tone was pure awe.
You smiled. “Yes. And you are stuck with me.”

Ice Pack - Steve Harrington

Stranger Things Masterlist
✰ ✰ ✰ ✰ ✰
The bedroom was so dark that you couldn’t have seen your hand in front of your face. Added to that, you were currently burrowed under a thick comforter, two fans and the AC going, you had effectively plunged your room into a cave like atmosphere...as if you’d brought the upside down into your little suburban bedroom.
It wasn’t the typical look for your bedroom but you couldn’t fathom doing more than adjusting the pillow under your head, the dull ache that you’d gone to sleep with had somehow morphed itself into something worse, a thudding in the front of your brain, right behind your eyes, that was destroying your ability to be a normal functioning human. You weren’t even sure what time it was anymore; you been laying in the dark for what felt like hours but could’ve honestly been minutes. The only time you’d been disturbed was when your mom came in to wake you up for school before realizing that the possibility of you going to school was slim to none.
You would’ve kept sleeping, or trying to, if it wasn’t for someone (Steve Harrington, curse his perfect hair and pretty face) barging into your room. The door clanged against the wall, echoing in your head and you groaned, rolling away from the door. “Steve...what the hell!”
“What, did somebody die...what’s with the set up in here Beetlejuice.” He grimaced, flicking on the bedroom lights and illuminating the space.
“For the love of God, turn the light off.” You moaned, “please.”
“It’s practically dinner time!” Steve’s voice felt louder than usual though you were sure he was only talking at a normal volume. The lights were burning behind your eyes and you imagined your brain on fire in that moment. You just wanted to turn everything back off again.
“Steve,” you braved rolling over, tucking the blanket down beneath your chin in hopes that Steve might notice the bags under your eyes and your hair all messed up on the pillow, “please, turn the lights off...I don’t feel good.”
He had stopped talking, stopped moving, taking in your state of being before he backed himself up to the door and closed it. He flicked the light off again, sending the room plummeting back into darkness, “Are you okay?” He asked, only once he’d fixed the problem.
“Obviously not.” You managed to sass, pulling the covers back over your head as your room was returned to it’s darken state.
“Is there anything I can do?” Steve’s ability to go from annoying to sweet in under a minute was always a little too quick for your liking. How were you supposed to stay mad at that?
You mulled the thought over in your mind, trying to decide what might possibly bring some relief to your pounding head. Finally you nodded, “will you get me a popsicle, an ice-pack, and more water?” Your arm flailed off the bed for a moment before you found the handle of your water bottle on the floor, lifting it out to Steve.
“Ice-pop, ice-pack, water,” he repeated, grabbing the bottle from you, “that all?”
You hummed, “it’s too early for me to take more ibuprofen.”
“Back in a flash.” Steve left the room and you cursed under your breath as you lifted the blanket back over your head to block out the blinding light from the hallway. He had left the bedroom door wide open, letting the lights and noise from the other parts of the small house pour into your space, invading the cave that you’d built to contain your headache.
It was only when the dull hum of the TV from the living room died down suddenly that you chanced opening your eyes and moving the blanket once more. In the dark you could make out the silhouette of Steve, returned like he said he would, with all three items in hand. He placed the water bottle on the floor before covering your forehead and your eyes with the icepack, something he’d watched you do countless times when you had a migraine.
“What flavor did you get?” You asked as you heard the rustling of plastic being pulled off the popsicle.
“Lime,” he pressed the end of the bar to your mouth and you opened, gripping the ice-y snack in your teeth so that he could let go of it. Once he had you found the wooden stick, pulling it back out of your mouth.
“My mom bought a whole arsenal of them this morning when I told her I didn’t feel good. She bought ginger-ale and saltines too, just to be safe.”
“The medicine’s not working?” Steve asked, taking a seat on your bed. He was unfazed by the ridiculous look you knew you were sporting right then, if he could even see it clearly.
“Hopefully the second dose will do the trick.” You replied, the cold from the ice-pack already starting to numb the feeling behind your eyes. “I’ll be pretty comatose for a while though...not exactly the most exciting company.”
“Oh that’s fine, I promised your mom I’d be right back out...she’s watching General Hospital and I think it’s supposed to be the conclusion of the shooting arch...I wanna see who the killer is.” He replied, leaning over to kiss the part of your nose that wasn’t covered by the ice-pack.
“I can’t believe you guys are gonna watch that without me!” You moaned.
We’ll record it, promise.” Just as he said it your mom called from the other room that the commercial break was over and the episode was starting, “Coming!” He called back, kissing you quickly before standing up, “I’ll check on you at the commerical.”
“Unbelievable!” You shouted after him.

A/N: That Hyundai ad hit different. *chuckles*
Words: 3097 Warnings: kidnapping, hostage
New York smelled pretty bad, come to think of it. You had almost forgotten the hustle and bustle of this huge city that never slept and if there was one thing you had not been missing at all after spending a few months in Morocco for work, it was the constant traffic jams.
It was hot, unbearably so. You’d been a sweating mess ever since your cab driver had picked you up at the airport and the fact that the air conditioning in the cab was broken didn’t exactly help with that. Your thighs stuck to the leather of the backseat, your forehead glistening and your make-up… well, it used to be make-up.
The cab driver seemed nice, at least and since the long snake made entirely of cars had not moved for at least an hour now, he had offered to park on the side of the road and get you both a bottle of water. Ironically, you were only a few yards away from Stark Tower.
Perhaps you shouldn’t complain about the traffic jam. Half of the city was a mess after the atrocious battle you had been fortunate enough only to have witnessed on the news on the plane. You could only hope that your tiny studio flat was still intact and quite frankly, it was short of a miracle that a cab service had actually agreed on picking you up so shortly after an almost-war—not to mention that the plane had actually landed.
You sighed, brushing a strand of hair sticking to your cheek out of your face. You were unbelievably tired—even more so knowing that you had dodged a catastrophe that would go down in history all thanks to work. Your eyes fell shut and you leaned against the car window when suddenly, the driver’s door was all but yanked open and someone who certainly did not resemble your cab driver, started the car and clutched at the steering wheel as if his life depended on it.
Your lips parted. Shackles and a muzzle, along with a blue glowing cube landed on the passenger seat with a loud clatter, followed by an annoyed groan. It was him. The man who had attempted to take over the entire planet only moments ago, he was here in this car and he was currently kidnapping you with it.
A scream escaped your lips, a mixture of shock and fear spreading in your body and fuelling the rising amount of adrenaline. It was only then the God of Mischief glanced at the rear-view mirror and spotted you there panicking—but by then, he had already stirred the car back on the road, straight towards the traffic jam.
“You… you are… Let me out! Let me out at once!” You screeched, the heat around you—along with your miserable appearance—all but forgotten. Loki rolled his eyes. Great. Another mortal.
“I am not stopping this car,” was all he said. Your eyes widened in utter shock.
“Then don’t! Fuck!” Danger was radiating off of this man like heat from an active volcano; so if necessary, you would jump out of the moving car as well. Biting your lower lip and wondering if you should go through with this risky stunt at the speed he was going, the wheels squeaking over the asphalt with every abrupt turn he took, or if that would be a suicide mission. It was probably the latter, and when you reached for the handle of the back door, it took the God of Mischief only a mere second to lock it, trapping you inside.
“Let me out! Let me out!”
“You’ll kill yourself.” Loki spat. You did not miss the patronising tone in his voice—stupid. He believed you stupid.
“And if I stay in here with you I won’t?” You retorted hysterically. And it was justified, really—for when your gaze drifted back to the road ahead of you, you could see him racing straight towards a long line of cars waiting for the traffic to clear up.
“Watch out! The other cars, watch out! Oh my God…” You screamed, squeezing your eyes shut and covering your face with your arms but the imminent crash never came. When you opened your eyes again, Loki had all but moved through the other cars as if by magic. God, what was this, Harry Potter?
With your heart in your mouth, you brought your trembling hands to your thighs and pressed down on them in a desperate attempt to fight off the panic attack rising within you like the forthcoming eruption of a volcano.
But even when you reached the suburbs, ironically moved closer to your home, and the car finally slowed down to a reasonable speed, making you wonder how a god from another realm knew how to drive a car in the first place, your dread kept growing steadily. What would happen once Loki decided he had reached his destination? What would he do with you? Would you end up as another casualty? You’d know where he was, after all, and only God knew how he had managed to escape after the Avengers reported his capture—not to mention that he was in the possession of that mysterious blue cube you were certain bore even more chaos and destruction in the wrong hands.
“I take it this vehicle is supposed to be a means of transport in exchange for payment?” He suddenly said.
“What?” You gaped at him, swallowing. “Yes! I mean, yes, it’s a taxi. That’s… I was…”
“Where do you live?”
“Excuse me? What, are you going to drop me off and expect me to tip you?”
Loki smirked. He couldn’t quite put his finger on why but he did like your feistiness. “I need a place to hide.”
“What… no! No! I am not giving shelter to a criminal!” You snarled, swallowing your fear of him—and then you made the mistake of peeking at the navigation system the taxi driver had set up next to the steering wheel, with your address on bright display to show Loki exactly where he’d have to go.
The God of Mischief tilted his head. “You don’t have much choice in the matter, my dear.”
You took a deep shaky breath, digging your nails into the backseat. If your lower lip was trembling, you didn’t notice. “P-please… please just let me go. I promise I won’t tell anyone where you are or where you went. Please.”
“I am not going to kill you if that is what you are worried about.” He replied after a long pause. When you said nothing, too stunned and scared to come up with another snarky comment, silence spread in the car like wildfire.
Hugging your knees to your chest, you closed your eyes, hoping that this was a bad joke, a terrible nightmare and any moment now, you would wake up safely on the plane, yet to land in half-destroyed New York City—but the end of slumber never came. You were wide awake; even more so when, after what felt like hours, Loki finally stopped the car. Of course, you had not noticed him observing you repeatedly through the rear-view mirror, almost as if to check if you were still alive.
Your eyes met and then, finally, he unlocked the doors. Only now, you did not move an inch. You had no idea what to expect if you stepped out of this car.
Naturally, Loki disagreed with your cautious decision. He yanked the car door open when he saw you frozen in place, grabbing your upper arm so fast you didn’t even have a chance to react, and all of a sudden, seeing the entrance door of the apartment building you lived in did not at all look as appealing as it had at the airport anymore.
His grip around your arm was firm but when you whined in pain, the God of Mischief actually softened it—if only a little, barely noticeable.
“Unlock the door, my dear, will you?” He inquired, smiling sweetly at you. Right beneath the surface, you could hear that there would be dire consequences if you failed to comply.
Surely at this point, he could hear your rapid heartbeat. Shaking, you fumbled for the keys in your bag until they were jingling in your palms all the while Loki watched you like a hawk. You had dismissed calling the police on your phone in the car already—for now.
Fuck, you had been kidnapped. You were about to be held hostage in your own flat, or… or… was he just going to enter and kick you out? Had he been lying about not killing you? Would he fling a dagger at you any moment now like you had seen him do on TV?
Loki followed you when you approached the door and unlocked it clumsily. One floor up and to the left. For just a brief moment, you wondered what would happen if you started screaming bloody murder, alerting your neighbours but even when you opened your mouth to attempt it, not a single sound would escape your lips.
Even a little further out and farther away from the centre of New York City, rent prices were horrendous. Your salary was not bad but your apartment was no more than a small studio equipped with a humble kitchen, a separate bathroom with a tiny shower and lastly, your double bed in the centre of the room, posing as your sofa during the day.
Loki looked around unimpressed when he entered. “Well… it will do.”
“N-now what?” You choked out.
Loki raised his eyebrows, his voice dripping with sarcasm. “Pretend I’m not even here.”
Right—because that was going to be so easy. He sighed and rolled his eyes when you only stared at him in horror.
“You don’t trust me, do you?”
“W-would you? You tried to subjugate our planet like ten minutes ago!”
“And for good reason too. This realm is lawless, your people slaughter each other day in and out and you feel threatened by me? I would have given you a new purpose.”
He had a point… but… “And what is that so-called purpose? Slavery?” Loki’s expression darkened, making you flinch back.
“S-sorry… I’ll… I’ll be i-in the bathroom taking a shower. Please just… I mean… whatever.” Would he stop you? Hesitating, you made your way to the bathroom, waiting for him to yank you back, press you against the wall and threaten you? Threaten you with what, exactly? Could you trust that he wouldn’t kill you? Loki felt like a ticking time bomb in your flat.
But a painful yank never came and when you locked the bathroom door behind you, you exhaled. Inhaled, exhaled, inhaled, exhaled, trying to process the fact you had a war criminal in your home.
Once you had gathered enough energy to do what you had come to the bathroom for and, an hour later, returned to the main room, Loki was sitting on your bed cross-legged, the Tesseract right before him, glowing away.
“I roamed your ‘kitchen’”, he said without glancing up to meet your eyes, “Do you have anything edible at all?”
“I was away for a whole month.” You argued. “I haven’t done any shopping yet because I was kidnapped by a space Viking.”
Loki smirked. Amused, he finally looked up. “Well, perhaps I should take you back to Asgard with me then. I could use a diligent little servant.”
Your reaction did not disappoint him. Chuckling to himself, he slid off the bed more elegantly than you could ever muster, the Tesseract disappearing into nothingness.
“What I am trying to say is that even gods need to eat and I am, quite frankly, starving.”
“That sounds like a you-problem.” You grumbled. And then, as if on cue, your stomach growled. Damn it.
“Fine. I’ll order some pizza.”
-
Loki had all but watched you like a hawk upon calling the local pizza place. Everything inside of you had screamed to let them know about your predicament, to beg them to call the police and send them to you instead of the pizza.
But as soon as the food was delivered, the mood in your apartment changed so rapidly it left you wondering if the only reason for Loki’s world domination attempt had been his hunger. The man devoured a family-sized pizza in but what felt like two minutes and, upon realising you were done with yours, leaving three pieces in the box, he devoured those as well. And never before had you seen someone eat pizza so gracefully.
It didn’t exactly make it feel like you had been kidnapped anymore. Perhaps… perhaps he hadn’t been lying about not wanting to kill you after all. Perhaps he wasn’t as evil as you… no, stop. He had literally just tried to take over the planet!
“What are you pondering on, little mortal?”
You shivered, the nickname affecting you in a way it truly shouldn’t, especially after he had lost his armour and magically exchanged it for more casual clothes—they still looked like they were from a different time period altogether but it wasn’t nearly as intimidating as before.
“W-why did you really do it?” You found yourself asking. It was a risk—but you were feeling braver now that your stomach was full even though part of you was surprised you had managed to eat at all.
“What?”
“Why did you really try to take over the planet? Did you… do you really want to enslave us all?”
“A lack of freedom does not equal slavery. It offers protection from failure and bad choices.” He said. You frowned.
“You truly believe that?”
“You fight wars over opinions, religions and race among your own species. Your choices are suffocating the whole of Midgard. I would have changed that.”
“You can’t be serious.”
You looked down, reaching for the sweet treat that had come with your pizza to stop your fingers from trembling.
“What is that?”
“Oh, uh… those are marshmallows. This pizza place always packs them with your order, don’t ask me why.”
“What’s that?” He repeated, frowning at the plastic wrapper.
“It’s candy…”
“Well, it doesn’t look very natural.”
Woah. How had this conversation just gone from “humans should not have freedom of choice” to “marshmallows look unhealthy”?
“They’re… I mean they’re not. They’re made of pure sugar and artificial flavouring.”
“Then why do you eat them?”
“Because… because they taste good?”
Loki gave you a taunting look. See? It said. This is what I meant.
But when you opened the package and handed it to him, he took one out nonetheless. It looked tiny between his long fingers—as tiny as you must have looked next to him.
You gulped when it disappeared between his lips. When you reached out to take the package back, he snatched it away from you.
“They are quite delicious, actually.” Your jaw dropped when he popped them all into his mouth at once, winking at you. Not quite sure how to react to this, you averted your gaze, taking a feigned interest in your digital alarm clock on the nightstand instead.
It was only 5 PM but you were positively ready to pass out. Where would you even sleep tonight? Where would he sleep? Would he even sleep?
“You are tired.” He suddenly stated as if on cue. He couldn’t read your mind… right? He did have that weird cube of his, after all.
“Well, yeah… I got kidnapped, experienced a live remake of ‘Fast and Furious’ and I have a criminal in my flat.”
“I only understood half of what you just said but I can ensure you that I will not harm you when you sleep.” There it was again, that frown that almost made it look like he was offended. As if the very circumstance of him hurting an innocent for no reason other than malice insulted him.
“So by all means, retire to bed.” He went on, gesturing to the bed and eventually, standing up to make space for you. The pizza boxes disappeared in but a green shimmer of light and you watched Loki, albeit still suspicious, heading over to the small kitchen table. To be quite frank, it was the last thing you remembered.
-
Loki was gone, no trace of him left. It was as if he had never even been here. It was already past noon—the exhaustion from your flight as well as the racy car drive and last but not least, your shining time as a hostage had worn you out to the point you didn’t even remember falling asleep anymore.
You only realised now that it was your doorbell that had woken you up. Jumping out of bed and moaning when your vision turned black for a moment, you headed over to your speaker and pressed the button. Perhaps it was Loki. Perhaps he had locked himself out but then again… would he not be able to magic himself back in? Why had he insisted on you unlocking the door yesterday in the first place? You shook your head.
“Hello?”
“Hi. This is Henry, I’ve got your delivery.” A boyish voice responded.
“W-what delivery? I didn’t order anything.”
“You did, ma’am, would you come open the door, please?”
You sighed. “Fine, I’ll be down in a second.”
You had fallen asleep in your clothes from last night, so one quick glance in the mirror was all you had before you headed back down and opened the main entrance door.
The delivery boy was holding both your suitcase and a jumbo-size package of marshmallows in his hands. Big marshmallows—the bonfire kind, to be precise.
“Who…” But you knew. You knew the moment you made the connection and knew the moment you looked straight into Henry’s eyes and noticed them glowing unnaturally blue when he handed the items to you.
It had not been a dream then. Loki had really been here. You had been eating pizza with the God of Mischief and now… the gesture was almost sweet. Was that his way of saying thank you? For what? You hadn’t exactly done much except for trembling in fear.
“He instructed me to tell you that you will meet again soon.” Henry announced and then, before you even had a chance to respond, he turned on his heel, hopped back into the delivery van parked in front of the building and left. You only realised now that the Hyundai taxi was gone too.

Crushing - Harry Styles
a/n: just a little something that was inspired by a tiktok and @pastequeharry !
pairing: Harry X Famous!Reader
word count: 2.2k
masterlist
“Welcome back, I hope has everyone returned from our little break because we are playing a fun little game with Y/N, who by the way won a Grammy award for best new artist this weekend, so congratulations on that!”
Ellen smiles at you widely as she claps along with the audience and you’re just smiling shyly, still not quite used to the sound of it.
“Thank you,” you nod looking around.
“Okay, we are going to play a round of who’d you rather. Are you familiar with the game?” she asks you.
“Yes, I’ve seen others play it before.”
“Great. For those who don’t know the game, two people will show up on the screen and Y/N will have to choose one. Whoever she chooses will come with us to the next round and at the end we’ll know who is her ultimate crush.”
“Ah man,” you huff, feeling a little nervous about who they are gonna show you and the audience laughs at your reaction as your fingers dig into the armrest of the armchair you’re sitting comfortably in.
“Are you ready?” Ellen questions with a smile that tells you just how much she is enjoying this.
“I don’t think I’ll ever be, but let’s get started,” you chuckle nervously.
“Okay, let’s see our first pair,” she starts and two pictures show up on the big screen and on the smaller one at the front of the stage so you don’t have to crane your neck. “So we have Zendaya and Tom Holland. Who are you choosing?”
“You really had to start with two of my biggest Marvel crushes?!” you whine and the audience starts laughing again as you chew on your bottom lip, trying to decide. “I love them both, but I’m gonna have to go with Zendaya, because in height, we would be better. I’m sorry Tom, I still love you!” you declare, looking around all cameras, hoping they all got your confession.
“Alright. So now we’ll keep Zendaya and move on to the next person, who is… Harry Styles. Zendaya or Harry Styles?”
The blood rushes out of your face as you see a picture of Harry, memories of the two of you meeting at the award show in the weekend flooding back to your mind. Harry has been a crush of yours since probably forever. You’ve been a fan of his since his One Direction days and your career started to take off sometime around the time he started his solo career, only difference is that it took you a little longer to earn yourself a name in the industry. But this weekend you finally met him for the first time, in real life, without you just watching him on the stage with four other men.
You spotted him at the area that led to the red carpet, he was about to step out when his eyes laid on you and though he was wearing a mask, you still knew he was smiling from the little wrinkles in the corners of his eyes. Your breath caught in your throat, stopping in your track as you were holding up your gown so you wouldn’t trip and fall with all the cameras around.
“Y/N! Hi!” he greeted you stepping closer, as if the two of you were old friends.
“Hi!” you managed to speak up, feeling completely starstruck.
“Love the gown! You look wonderful!” he complimented you and you could feel your cheeks heating up so fast.
“Oh, thank you, but I think you’re stealing the show with the boas,” you chuckled making him laugh as well.
“Thank you. Congrats on the nomination, I really hope you win by the way.”
“You do?”
“Of course. Listened to the album, it’s really good,” he nodded and your heart skipped a beat. Harry Styles listened to your album and he liked it? This must be Heaven, but when did you die?
“Thank you so much! I hope you win too, though your chances are better with your three nominations,” you joked making him laugh again.
“Yeah, just a little,” he nodded. “Here, let me help you.” He offered you his arm helping you step up the few steps that lead to the area where the red carpet photos were taken and you were thankful for the help, though you could already hear all the camera’s clicking in your way and you knew the photos would be all over the internet by the next day.
You only met one more time during the evening and you could only congratulate to each other on the wins before you both were snatched away, but you still play your conversation with him in your head before you go to bed in the evening.
“Um, Zendaya is everything but I’m gonna play this game honestly so I’ll choose Harry.”
The audience starts cheering and clapping at the decision as Ellen smirks at you, nodding along.
“No need to be shy, we all have a crush on Harry probably,” she jokes making you laugh. “Okay, next up we have… Harry Styles and The Weeknd.”
“I’m gonna stick to Harry,” you answer probably a little too fast, but if you’re being honest, they can’t show you anyone at this point who would beat Harry.
“Harry stays, next we have Harry and… Florence Pugh.”
“You guys made sure to make it hard for me!” you chuckle staring at the screen. “But I’m still gonna stick to Harry, though I love them both.”
“Alright, for the next round we have Harry Styles and Niall Horan.”
“I’m upset, because as a One Direction fan, I should not be forced to choose between them,” you point at Ellen, giving her a hard look which the audience finds quite hilarious.
“I’m sure you had ranked them before, don’t be shy,” she smirks and you sigh rolling your eyes.
“Okay, no offence to anyone but Harry stays. Sorry Niall, I still love you though,” you add with a smile.
“Harry is in a winning streak, it seems. Okay, let’s see his next opponent. Harry against Chris Evans.”
“Harry,” you answer with a sigh, crossing your legs, knowing well you will not choose anyone over Harry.
“Fast answer, great. Harry Styles or Ariana Grande.”
“Love Ariana, she’s a queen, but Harry,” you answer with a smile, the audience enjoying your obsession over Harry Styles and at this point you are not even trying to hide it.
“Harry Styles or Henry Cavill?”
“Harry,” you answer right away.
Henry’s picture disappears and Harry’s moves to the middle as the game comes to its end.
“Seems like we have a winner here. Harry Styles beat everyone!” Ellen chuckles as you glance at the big screen, blushing a little, but you are hoping your makeup is covering it well.
“You said it yourself, everyone has a crush on him,” you shrug, trying to play it cool.
“Yes, but not everyone was helped out by him,” she smirks as a photo of the two of you appears on the screen from last weekend and you cover your face with your hands as the audience goes wild.
“He is a gentleman,” you sigh dreamily.
“He really is and I have to say that the two of you look great together.”
“Oh stop it,” you chuckle, playing it over a little, just to make it less obvious how giddy even the thought makes you.
“Well, now we know that he is your number one choice, hopefully he’ll take the next step,” Ellen chuckles before moving on and asking you a few more questions as part of your appearance on the show.
Weeks go by and you kind of forget about the whole interview. It blows up the next few days, but nothing really happens, people just get excited that you are crushing on Harry just like everyone else, but it dies down pretty quickly.
You barely recovered from your Grammy win and yet you are already marching towards another milestone in your career. None other than Gucci asked you to be part of their new campaign in an amazing photoshoot and you just couldn’t say no, not that you ever even thought about it. After some online meetings and sending emails back and forth the first fitting’s day has finally arrived and you are buzzing!
Heading down to the showroom to go over every outfit they want you to wear for the photos, you can’t wipe the excited grin off your face. Growing up you could only dream about owning anything Gucci, now you are going to be promoting them so it truly is a dream come true.
Arriving you are walked into the showroom that is now filled with racks of clothes and there’s a podium with three mirrors surrounding it for the fitting.
“Y/N! Hi! So nice to finally meet you after all the emails and calls!” Nancy, the creative director of the campaign greets you.
“Nice to meet you too!”
“We are in a little bit of delay, I’m very sorry about that, but we can start in about ten minutes, if that’s alright with you.”
“Oh, no worries. I’m free all day,” you assure her before she thanks your patience and runs off to finish off whatever she was doing before.
Wandering around you take a look at the beautiful clothes on the racks, blown by basically everything you see and you can’t wait to wear the outfits that were meant for you. In the back of the room, a part is closed off for a changing area and you hear the door opening as Nancy walks out first, talking to someone following her behind and when you see the person, you freeze.
Harry Styles walks out, wearing a just a shirt and jeans, looking very casual but still, unbelievably hot. The man could wear a potato sack and still look better than any other men.
“Thank you so much,” he smiles at Nancy before his eyes lay on you, a wide smirk tugging on his lips in realization. “So nice to see a familiar face!” he beams, walking closer before he pulls you in for a short hug that catches you by surprise, but also warms your chest.
“Hi, didn’t expect to see you here, though you are kind of one with the brand at this point,” you tease him making him laugh.
“I am, yeah. I heard that you would be featured in the campaign as well. Amazing choice,” he smirks, glancing over at Nancy who smiles proudly, clearly agreeing with him.
“Y/N, I’ll get the changing room ready for you and we can start in five, alright?” Nancy informs you.
“Yeah, thank you!” You nod in her way and she is already off to do the work, leaving you and Harry alone.
“So, I learned some interesting information the other day,” he hums with a serious face and he got you curious about what it could be.
“Yeah?”
“Mhm, you know, I was watching The Ellen Show and you were on, playing a little game.”
“Oh my God,” you breathe out, already feeling the heat crawling up your neck to your cheeks. Harry smirks down at you, clearly enjoying that he got you so nervous and embarrassed of what happened.
“I wish I knew about your little crush earlier!” he teases you, making your groan.
“And why is that? So you could pull my leg at the Grammy’s when I was already shitting my pants?”
Harry lets out a chuckle shaking his head as he hides his hands in his pockets, his eyes running up and down your figure before they meet with your gaze again.
“No. Because then I wouldn’t have talked myself down from asking for your number.”
You can’t help the stunned reaction that takes over your face at his blunt flirting, your lips part as your eyebrows shoot up while Harry just stares back at you with a sly smirk on his deliciously pink lips.
“Oh, is that so?”
“Yeah, but now that I know that you are crushing on me just like I’m crushing on you, I think it’s time to make the first step. So…” he pulls his phone out and hands it over to you and continues while you type your number in. “I’m not just asking for your number, but I happened to hear that you have nothing else planned for the day, is that true?”
“It is,” you nod, feeling out of breath as you hand him back his phone, your number saved in his contacts.
“Then how about grabbing lunch after your fitting? I happen to have nothing today as well, we should take advantage of it,” he suggests and you can’t push your stunned smile down.
“Sounds good,” you nod, biting into your bottom lip.
“Great. I’ll run some errands while you are here and I’ll be back in about an hour.”
“You could stay here if you want, I don’t mind it,” you tell him, feeling like he is only leaving because he doesn’t want to intrude.
“I would love to, but I really want to see the final outcome of the campaign and not spoil it for myself,” he smirks making you chuckle.
“Alright. Then see you in an hour.”
“Yeah,” he nods with a boyish smirk before turning around and walking out of the showroom.

Summary— Springtime generally brings new beginnings, but being stuck in a small town all your life means nothing ever changes. Finally, something, or rather, someone, stumbles into your life. Can this shy boy manage to change your life forever?
A/N— This beautiful banner was made by @dee-ehn! Please let me know what you think of this fic! Hope you guys enjoy~
It all started on a beautiful spring day. Something had convinced you to go on an unprecedented early morning walk for some reason.
The morning air was cold but crisp. You were bundled up in your favorite sweater, and the scarf that your grandmother knitted for you was wrapped snugly around your neck. Normally you would be immersed in your headphones, but since today was already unusual you decided to forgo the music.
You walked along the banks of the stream that flowed next to your neighborhood. This particular stream held nothing but fond memories. You grew up here with all the other kids. During the summer breaks, you’d play out here from morning to nightfall. This was the place where you saw your first fireflies, and where you won your first fist fight.
You stopped to sit on the grassy hill that ran alongside the banks, relishing in nostalgia as you took in a breath of fresh air. Everything is so different now. Everyone moved away to pursue their careers or to go to a big university. You were the only one left. Your parents urged you to go to college, but you refused. Who else would help run the bakery?
As much as you hated to see it, your parents were growing old. Managing the family bakery was getting harder on them. You were such a huge help to them since you basically managed all of the front-of-house work. They worked diligently in the kitchen every day to create the best baked goods in town.
You had always dreamt of leaving this small town. You’ve fantasized about attending a big university in the middle of a bustling city since you were a little kid. Unfortunately, that can’t happen now. You can’t leave your parents or the bakery behind. You held no resentment though, you loved it. Being an only child was a bit lonely at times, but your parents made you feel loved no matter what.
You laid on the grassy hill, watching the clouds roll by. Maybe life was better this way. It was simple, and you always knew what to expect. Day in and day out, the routine was always the same.
Everything changed on that day. That was the fateful day that you ran into him. Or rather, he ran into you.
“Good morning, ____! Where were you this morning? Why weren’t you answering your phone?” your concerned mother asked when you returned home.
“Morning mom. I went on a walk and forgot my phone I guess. Sorry about that. I ended up laying on the hill by the stream,” you replied as you sat at the breakfast table.
Living with bakers was probably one of the biggest blessings in your life. Every meal smelled delectable and you had access to all the fresh goodies you could desire.
“Wow, you were awake before we were? What a surprise. Here, tell me what you think of this loaf,” your dad set it in front of you.
You tossed a piece of bread into your mouth. The taste was savory to say the least. It was your father’s signature banana bread loaf, only this time with a small twist.
“Why’d you take out the walnuts? It’s still delicious though,” you said, devouring another piece.
“Well so many customers complain about having nut allergies now. I thought we could sell more if we take them out! You think we can sell this?” he asked eagerly.
“I think this will be our newest best seller!” you happily replied, “I’m gonna go open up the shop. See you guys soon,” you kissed them each on the cheek before taking your leave.
The bakery was down the street from your house, so the commute was only about 5 minutes even if you walked slowly. You brought your phone with you this time, so you were jamming out to your music, oblivious to the outside world. You were so out of it, that you didn’t have time to react to the person quickly rounding the corner.
One moment you were walking to work, the next you were knocked onto the cold hard ground. Your assailant fell on top of you, and you soon locked eyes with him. It was as if time stood still for a moment. He was the most beautiful boy you’ve ever seen. His eyes were wide with concern, and for a moment, you swore you saw stars twinkling within them.
It took a second to register that this stranger was on top of you, in a compromising position no less. You’ve never been this close to a boy since...well it has been a while. Your legs were intertwined and his nose was only inches from yours.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry! I didn’t see you until the last second,” the boy apologized as he scrambled to get off of you.
As he helped you up, you reassured him that you were fine. You laughed off the incident and took the boy by surprise. You had the most angelic laugh he’d ever heard. He stood awkwardly gazing at you, before you asked him if he was okay.
“I-I’m fine! I’m glad you’re okay. I apologize again for being so careless,” he bowed.
“I’m also at fault! I wasn’t paying attention either. So shame on both of us,” you smiled to show him you were joking, “Enjoy the rest of your day, don’t run into anyone else!”
And with that, you parted ways. You forgot about the stranger as the morning rush piled into the bakery.
Despite being located in a small town, your parent’s were nationally renowned bakers. The bakery was always busy. That was part of why you loved it so much, you were never bored. The regular customers were your favorite. Most of the townsfolk had been coming to the bakery since you were little.
“Is this banana bread new?” Mrs. Park, the local florist, asked.
“Technically, yes. It’s the exact same recipe but without the walnuts,” you replied.
“Perfect! I’m not too fond of walnuts but I adore your parents’ banana bread,” Mrs. Park beamed, handing you a loaf along with other goods she picked up.
“How’s Jimin?” you asked as you rang her up.
“Oh he’s doing well! He loves it out there in the big city. At first, I was terrified of letting him go. He’s just always been so passionate about dancing, I finally had to cave in. He recently auditioned to be part of some fancy dance crew, and he got in! Can you believe it?” Mrs. Park began to dote on her son.
“That’s amazing! I’m happy for him,” you smiled.
“You know, ____, Jimin is still single. You two would be perfect together--”
“Long distance relationships are hard, Mrs. Park,” your mother interrupted her, swooping in to save the day. Thank god. You wouldn’t have known how to react.
“She could always move out to the city to be with him!” Mrs. Park retorted, not picking up on the awkward situation she created.
“I could never leave the bakery,” you responded quickly.
“Ah, yes that’s right. You have such a good daughter, Mrs. _____. Jimin never took any interest in taking over the family business. I’m jealous of you!” Mrs. Park said to your mom.
After what seemed like an eternity, Mrs. Park finally left. You were fond of her, but she never knew when to stop talking. Jimin was a good friend of yours growing up. You never wanted to admit that you had a huge crush on him. You figured it wouldn’t have mattered anyway, since he was so fixated on moving out.
The morning rush had died down. You took this opportunity to restock and tidy things up before the afternoon rush. The store bell rang, indicating the arrival of another customer.
“Welcome in! I’ll be with you shortly,” you called out from behind the counter.
“No worries, thanks!” the customer yelled back.
Once finished, you popped up with a bright smile on your face. Your parents taught you to always greet the customers with a smile as soon as they walk in.
However, the customer wasn’t facing your direction. He was looking at the baked goods that aligned the opposite wall. You patiently waited for him to make his selection. He kept walking back and forth, eyeing all of the baked items. You left your station behind the counter and approached him.
“Can I help you with anything, sir?” you piped up behind him.
The man jumped back, startled.
“I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to scare you,” you apologized.
“It’s okay! I didn’t hear you at all. You must be some sort of ninja-- Oh it’s you!” the boy turned around to face you.
It was the gorgeous boy who ran into you earlier.
“Hello again! I guess it was my turn to frighten you,” you joked.
“That’s fair,” he nodded, “What’s the best thing here?”
“Mmm that’s hard for me to say, considering that I love them all. What kind of tastes and textures do you like?” your customer service persona kicked in.
“I like sweet things I guess? I like bananas too…” he trailed off.
“We don’t have any bananas in fruit form, but we do have killer banana bread,” you beamed.
“That sounds good, but I don’t really like nuts so--”
“There are no nuts in our new recipe! You must be lucky, this is the first day that we’ve started selling them. Want me to ring you up a loaf?” you interrupted him.
“Oh no nuts? Okay, I’ll try it,” he agreed quietly.
“Would you still like to get something sweet as well?”
“Yeah, if that’s okay,” he nodded timidly.
“Of course it’s okay! My personal favorite is our milk pudding bun. The pudding in the middle is pretty creamy plus the bread is unbelievably soft! If that’s not for you, then we have a classic chocolate bun filled with, surprise surprise, chocolate. We also have…” you led the boy around the entire bakery.
You were too focused on recommending various breads to notice him stealing glances at you that lingered longer than normal. He patiently let you talk his ear off about the goodies.
“I’ll go with the milk pudding bun,” he smiled shyly.
“That was the first one! You should’ve stopped me from rambling,” you huffed.
“I wanted to know my options. Plus you seemed pretty happy,” he added softly.
“Alright, let’s go check you out then,” you headed to the counter, “I haven’t seen you before. What brings you to our little town?” you attempted to make conversation.
“Mmm, to get away, I guess,” the boy said after a pause.
“Are you in some sort of trouble?” you leaned over the counter to whisper.
“Kind of,” he whispered back.
“Stay right here, I can call the police,” you frantically murmured as you whipped out your phone.
“No no! Not like that,” he couldn’t contain his laughter, “I’m a fine arts student. My main focus is photography, but lately I haven’t been able to capture anything worth printing,” he explained.
“Ohhh,” you said, feeling dumb, “Then why come to a town in the middle of nowhere? You won’t find much here.”
“To an untrained eye, maybe so. But to a professional, beauty can be found anywhere,” he said proudly.
“Then why can’t you find anything back home? And aren’t you still a student?” you questioned.
“You know, I was really hoping that you’d let me have that,” the boy deflated.
“Aw, I’m sorry! If you ever want to take photos of the beauty that is bread, you’re always welcome here,” you smiled.
“I might take you up on that offer,” he said as he grabbed the purchased goods, “What’s your name by the way?”
“____. Yours?”
“Jeon Jungkook.”
“I’ll see you around, Mr. Jeon Jungkook. Oh! And if you’d like a tour of the town, I’d be more than happy to show you around,” you suggested.
“That would be nice,” Jungkook pondered, “Where can I find you?”
“I’m here every day. I get off at 3pm,” you answered.
“Cool. I’ll drop by tomorrow, if that’s okay?”
“Sure! See you then!” you waved goodbye.
“Who was that?” your mother asked when the boy left.
“Some photography student that said he wanted to get away for some inspiration. I offered to give him a tour tomorrow after work,” you explained.
“Do you want me to come with you?” your dad offered.
“I’ll be fine on my own, thanks,” you quickly turned him down.
You spent the next morning frantically flip flopping between outfits. Should you go with a pretty top paired with a skirt? Or perhaps keep it casual with a t-shirt and jeans? Or should you go with a simple dress? You know you’re supposed to be a tour guide, but you still wanted to look somewhat presentable. You settled for the dress. It gave off a “cute but not trying too hard” type of vibe.
Time seemed to slowly drag on as you waited for Jungkook to return. You had already mapped out your route, making sure it was efficient (not like there’s much to see anyway). You wanted to surprise him with a picnic at the end of the tour. Hopefully it could help show off the natural beauty of the forests and meadows that surrounded the town. As the clock approached 3pm, you began to wonder if springing a surprise picnic on a stranger was odd. Oh god, what if it was? You hadn’t had much interaction with people your age once all your friends went off to live their own lives. Panic was starting to set in when the front bell chimed.
“Hey! I’m a little early, but I can wait around until you’re finished,” Jungkook greeted you. You noticed a fancy looking camera dangling around his chest.
“It’s all good! Business has been slow today, I’ve been bored,” you admitted.
“Oh I see--” Jungkook was cut off.
“Hi! I’m ____’s mom. Did you like the bread you bought yesterday?” your mom materialized out of nowhere with a pan of fresh bread in her hands.
“It was delicious! Better than anything I could get in the city,” Jungkook complimented.
“Why did you batch a new batch? No one has come in after 1pm,” you aggressively whispered to your mom.
“I got bored,” she pouted, “Here, have one! On the house, think of it as a welcoming present to our town,” she motioned for Jungkook to take a fresh loaf off the tray.
Jungkook’s face lit up at the offer as he thanked her for the snack. His smile lingered as he took a bite, savoring the taste.
“You must have some sort of good luck charm; you’re getting even more free food later,” you chuckled as you plopped a wicker basket onto the checkout counter.
“Sweet,” he beamed.
You let out a small sigh of relief. It didn’t seem like Jungkook was creeped out by the thought of eating with a stranger. With the basket in hand, you led Jungkook across the town. There truly wasn’t much to see. Your family’s bakery was in line with the rest of the town’s shops. You passed by the florist, the cafe, the grocery store, and the post office within the first 3 minutes just by walking down the street. You added in little personal stories with each business that you pointed out.
Jungkook paused by the flower shop, in awe of all the beautiful arrangements. His eyes scanned the outside displays, as if he was looking for something.
“Need something specific, dear?” Mrs. Park asked her potential customer.
“Do you have Tiger flowers?” he inquired.
“Tiger… No, but I can probably order some for you,” she offered.
“Ah, that’s alright. I’m sorry to bother you,” Jungkook apologized before rejoining you.
“Did you wanna take a picture of that specific flower?” you asked him as you strolled along the sidewalk.
“Yeah, it’s my birth flower,” he shyly nodded.
“Oh nice! I don’t know what my birth flower is, but yours sounds pretty. Ah, here is the town square. Over there is the courthouse/government building/boring stuff happens in there probably,” you said as you pointed out the building.
“This is cool,” Jungkook examined a decrepit well that stood in front of the courthouse.
“I guess. I always thought it would be better if they replaced it with a big pretty fountain or something,” you mentioned as you looked down into the dark abyss of the well.
Jungkook said nothing as he began taking pictures of the well from various angles. You watched him frown at each picture he took before he tried to take another.
“Maybe you could take a picture looking into the well? I mean, you’d probably have to stand on it to get a full shot and your feet will be in it but…” you suggested before realizing that you knew nothing about photography.
Jungkook immediately hopped onto the well, disregarding the loose pebbles that crumbled away under his weight. Pointing the camera directly down into the well, he snapped a couple of pictures. He didn’t bother hopping off of the well before scrolling through the pictures he just took. You caught yourself staring at him, admiring his features. His eyebrows were furrowed in concentration, his lips were pursed, and the wind was blowing his bangs over his forehead ever so slightly. He really was a handsome boy, though he seemed to be completely unaware of it.
“How’d it turn out?” you asked as he climbed down.
“Not bad actually. Better than the angles I took at first,” Jungkook smiled with approval, “I’ll show you after I touch them up.”
“I’m excited to see! Also, this basically concludes the tour because everything else is residential stuff. Unless you wanna take pictures of random people’s homes,” you joked.
“I’m good. Is this where we’re eating? I kinda skipped lunch,” Jungkook looked at the wicker basket in your hand.
“Nope! I’m gonna take you somewhere special. Are you okay with a bit of light hiking?”
“Sounds fun,” Jungkook grinned.
“Perfect! Now it’s your turn to lug this thing around,” you said as you handed him the deceptively heavy basket.
You took him to the outskirts of town, where nature was left untouched.
“Is this where all the cool kids have their picnics?” Jungkook asked as you led him down an old trail.
“All the cool kids left this town a while ago, so I can’t speak on their behalf. However, this is where I like to have my picnics so take that in whatever way you please,” you responded.
It was a sunny day on the verge of being too hot, but the densely wooded forest provided enough shade to make it comfortable. Your parents used to take you on walks in these woods when you (and they) were younger. Of course, now the hilly paths and loose soil would only wreak havoc on your parents’ old knees. You’ve grown accustomed to exploring on your own. Bringing Jungkook along was a pleasant change.
“You okay with eating here?” you suddenly stopped, pointing over to a field just off the trail.
“I’ll eat anywhere, I’m starving,” Jungkook quickly nodded.
“I’m fully aware of that; I could barely hear the birds chirping over the sounds of your stomach growling,” you teased.
An old tree that was large enough to cover up the entire picnic blanket with shade proved to be the ideal spot. Jungkook set down the wicker basket that you assigned to him earlier, eagerly waiting for you to finally open it.
“On the menu today we have fruits as an appetizer, ham and cheese sandwiches in homemade croissants as the main course, and last but not least, chocolate buns for dessert,” you proudly showcased each item.
“I never knew bread could taste so heavenly until I went to your bakery. I’m happy I walked in,” Jungkook praised as he wolfed down his sandwich.
“It’s not my bakery, it’s my parents’ bakery,” you corrected him as you ate the fruit.
“Don’t you work in it nearly every day? I don’t see how it’s not your bakery too,” Jungkook insisted.
“I’m not the one running the business,” you argued.
“You seem to put in the same amount as work as them. Instead of baking, you’re handling all of the customers. That’s gotta count for something, right?” Jungkook persisted.
“Fine, I guess you could say it’s a family bakery. Happy?” you huffed, clearly annoyed.
“Hey, I wasn’t trying to make you angry. I’m sorry if I overstepped,” Jungkook apologized, putting his sandwich down, “I wanted to let you know how much I love your family’s bread, that’s all.”
“No, it’s fine. I’m sorry, I shouldn’t have snapped at you. It’s just…” your trailed off as you gazed at the blue sky.
“I don’t want to pry, but I’m happy to sit here and listen,” Jungkook offered.
“I don’t want to scare you away by dumping my personal issues on you,” you tried to lighten the mood.
“I don’t think you could do that, ____,” Jungkook assured you.
Your eyes widened ever so slightly since he caught you off guard with his sincerity, but soon you gave him a soft smile.
“Fine, since we’re just sitting here anyway,” you caved as you picked up your sandwich, “I wish I wasn’t here anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love my parents and I love the bakery. I just wish I got to go to a big city somewhere and attend a real university. I don’t know what I’d study, I just know that I thought my life would be different by now,” you turn away from him to hide your watery eyes.
“It’s not all that great,” Jungkook responded after a short pause, “I came from a small town too. The only difference was that it was along a beach, not by a forest. Wait, the location doesn’t matter,” he quietly scolded himself, “What I’m trying to say is that I did get away from my hometown. I was so excited to finally be a city kid. I didn’t realize how overwhelming it would be. Now look at me. I’m a senior in college with no direction in life. That’s what I get for choosing a career with no job security,” he chuckled as he looked down at the camera around his neck.
“But are you doing what you love?” you quietly asked.
“I think so. Are you?” he asked back.
“I think so,” you sighed, finally turning to look at him.
“I could always take you back to the city with me,” Jungkook flashed you a big bunny smile.
“Don’t joke with me like that. I hate getting my hopes up,” you playfully punch him in the arm.
“I’m not joking!” he yelped in surprise.
The conversation turned into a more cheerful one. You both spoke about your dreams, both childhood and present day. It was fun talking with Jungkook as you both watched the clouds roll by without a care in the world.
“Maybe you could get some pretty shots of some wildlife while we’re out here,” you recommended when the conversation came to a pause.
“Do you want to model for me?” Jungkook asked.
“Huh?” his sudden proposal surprised you.
“It’s completely okay if you don’t want to! Actually, just forget I said anything,” Jungkook looked down at the camera in his hands in a futile attempt to hide his flushed cheeks.
“Just tell me how to pose,” you smiled, already getting up.
“Uh, just act natural,” he said awkwardly as you leaned against the thick tree trunk.
At first, you made some silly poses that made Jungkook laugh. To be honest, you only did that because you really didn’t know how to pose next to the tree while making it look natural. Forcing a smile, you attempted to lean on the tree like as if it were another person.
“You don’t have to fake a smile,” Jungkook called from behind the camera.
“I don’t know what to do!” you called back.
“Act natural!”
“How do I do that?”
“Naturally!”
His response rewarded him a sarcastic eye roll, followed by a burst of laughter. Jungkook furiously clicked his camera as you laughed even harder. He praised you for ‘being in your natural state’ as he took shots from ridiculous angles. He gave you a thumbs up after he was satisfied with the impromptu photoshoot.
“Is laughing until I can’t breathe just me being in my natural state?” you asked playfully as you sat back down on the picnic blanket.
“It was authentic, so I would say so. I wish I could capture sound too, your laugh is so cute,” Jungkook said nonchalantly as he scrolled through the photos.
His eyes widened as soon as he realized what he said. He opened his mouth to try and take it back, or at least cover it up. He looked over at you shyly, only to see that you were digging out dessert from the basket. He let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, you didn’t hear him.
“How were the pictures?” you asked, scooting to sit beside him after handing him the dessert.
“See for yourself,” he proudly showed you.
You were amazed by his talent. Even without editing, the photos looked like they were ready to be submitted into a contest. Everything looked so perfect. Your smile was genuine, the lighting was optimal, and your hair looked surprisingly good. You applauded him for his talent, to which he bashfully denied by saying he was still such an amatuer. You both finally dug into the desserts.
“These chocolate buns were amazing,” Jungkook licked his lips after he finished it.
“They’re my personal favorite! They’re also the best things that I can make on my own,” you winked at him as you finished yours.
“You made these?” Jungkook’s doe eyes filled with awe.
“Yep! Don’t act so surprised,” you pouted.
“Sorry, it’s just that you told me your parents bake everything. These were really good! Probably the best things I’ve had since--oh wait. You have a little something,” Jungkook leaned forward to wipe the corner of your mouth with his thumb.
You both froze for a second, in shock of this intimate gesture. Jungkook’s mouth opened to apologize, but you stopped him before he had the chance. Without thinking about it, you put your mouth around his thumb. You sucked on it for a second before you snapped back to reality. You started apologizing profusely the instant his thumb left your mouth.
“It’s okay! I shouldn’t have touched you in the first place,” Jungkook shied away from you, refusing to look you in the eyes.
“I don’t know what came over me,” you apologized as you grabbed his hand.
Jungkook looked at you with an embarrassed expression the moment you held his hand in yours. At first you didn’t realize why he was so embarrassed, you were the one sucking his thumb. But then, you noticed Jungkook sheepishly resting his other hand in his lap.
“Jungkook,” you said sweetly.
“Yes?” he answered, his eyes averting yours once more.
“Do you want me to do it again?”
“Huh?” he looked back at you with disbelief.
You made a bold move as you moved to straddle his lap, each leg settling beside his waist. You brought his hand up to your mouth and batted your eyes innocently.
“Like this,” you say before licking his pointer finger.
Jungkook gulped while slowly nodding his head, giving you permission to continue. His eyes stayed glued on you as you wrapped your lips around his finger. You dragged your flattened out tongue from the base to the tip. You then reversed this motion, but instead only using the tip of your tongue. You began to work on his middle finger as well. It was hard to fit his long fingers in your mouth, but you’re no quitter. Your tongue weaved between his fingers, adequately coating them with your saliva.
Jungkook’s breaths quickened the longer you went on. You felt a bulge grow between your thighs as you straddled him. Perhaps wearing a dress was a great idea after all. Your hips began to move on their own as you slowly grinded on Jungkook.
“____…” Jungkook moaned quietly when you daringly took three fingers into your mouth.
Rubbing your clothed pussy against his hard crotch spurred you on even more. Drool was dribbling down Jungkook’s arm and your chin, but neither of you cared. It just made you look more erotic to him. His other hand was on your hip to help you maintain a rhythm. You opened your eyes to make contact with his as you suckled his fingers. That’s all it took to make him come undone.
He quickly pushed you off of him as he cried out. You were both too shocked to say anything for a few seconds. Jungkook seemed too embarrassed to look you in the eyes again, his cheeks bright red.
“Jungkook, I--” you started to apologize.
“You probably think I’m pretty lame huh? Cumming in my pants like some sort of middle schooler,” he looked down in defeat.
“What? No, of course not!” you disagreed.
“Don’t lie,” Jungkook refused to believe you.
“Jungkook, that was honestly the hottest thing I’ve ever done. What we just did was hotter than when I was actually having sex,” you tried to cheer him up.
“You’re not lying?” Jungkook finally looked up at you with sad puppy dog eyes.
“I swear I’m not. I could help you clean it up, if you’d like,” you offered.
“I think that would make me feel worse. Just hand me some napkins and I’ll go take care of it myself,” he declined.
You packed everything up while you waited for Jungkook to return. He discreetly threw away the ball of used napkins into the designated trash bag, praying to god that you weren’t looking.
The walk back was quiet and awkward. Neither of you knew what to say. You were horrified with how you acted; you’ve never been so bold before. Jungkook was ashamed of cumming before he had the chance to do anything to you. He felt so pathetic.
“I’m sorry for making you so uncomfortable, Jungkook,” you finally apologized.
“Are you kidding? You think I would cum that fast if I was uncomfortable?” Jungkook looked at you with incredulity, “I’m the one who should be sorry. I’m disgusting and came in my pants while you did all the hard work.”
“You’re not disgusting at all, Jungkook. I enjoyed it too. I can’t remember the last time I was that horny,” you laughed.
All the tension in the air had disappeared. Jungkook bounced back to being his cheery self. The conversation went back to normal as you brought him back to the bakery. You hugged him goodbye and were about to leave when he caught your hand.
“Thank you so much for the tour. I know we’ve only known each other for a day but... would you like to go on a date with me?” Jungkook asked with a hopeful look in his eyes.
“No,” you said firmly, watching his shoulders fall, “I’d love to go on a date with you,” you smirked.
“You jerk!” Jungkook gasped.
You couldn’t help it, he was too easy to tease. After working out the details, it was decided that he would come pick you up on Friday night.
Jungkook took you to basically the only restaurant in town (that wasn’t the cafe). It was a family run Italian eatery, and it took Jungkook by surprise.
“Is everyone in this place a master chef or something? This is delicious!” he praised as he ate his pasta.
“I guess it’s the authenticity of family recipes? You probably eat at more chain restaurants while you’re in the city,” you shrugged as you twirled noodles around your fork.
The date went on pleasantly. Jungkook wanted to know as much about you as you did him. The conversations you had were lively and fun; there was never a dull moment with him. Something about him just automatically clicked with you.
“What’s your favorite thing to photograph?” you asked.
“I like taking pictures of landscapes and buildings. That’s why I was super excited about going to a university in the city. It’s a lot easier than taking pictures of people! Unfortunately, that’s where the money is right now,” he explained.
“You don’t like taking pictures of people?”
“Not really, no,” he answered bluntly.
“Then why did you ask me to model for you?” you were genuinely curious.
Jungkook froze in his seat. He took a long sip of his drink before answering you.
“For practice, I suppose,” he said softly.
“I’m happy I was able to help then,” you smiled, thinking nothing of it.
Jungkook seemed grateful that you didn’t press for more details, and was soon coaxed out of his shy shell once the topic of anime came around. You were happy that he took you out on a proper date, you hadn’t been on one in so long.
He walked you back under the pale moonlight. You were admiring the twinkling stars when you realized that Jungkook hadn’t said anything in a while. His hand awkwardly brushed against yours when you first left the restaurant, but you didn’t think much of it. Jungkook seemed to be thinking hard about something as he walked alongside you. You were going to say something when the back of his hand brushed against yours again. He instantly pulled away and uttered a small “sorry”.
“What’s wrong, Jungkook?” you were worried now, you thought the date went well.
“Nothing…,” his voice trailed off as he looked away.
You interlocked his pinky with yours without a word. Jungkook looked over at you with surprise, but said nothing. He admonished himself for not committing to hold your hand, but he was happy with this too. In fact, he thought it was cuter than actual hand holding.
You arrived in front of your house. Bidding Jungkook goodnight, you went in for a hug. Jungkook also went in for a hug, but he leaned the same way you did. In a quick bumble, your lips grazed the corner of Jungkook’s, causing you to jump back. You stood in Jungkook’s arms, looking away in embarrassment. He brought up one of his hands to cup your cheek, forcing you to look back at him. His eyes sparkled under the moonlight as he gazed into yours.
Slowly, you found yourself leaning forward. Jungkook met you in the middle, his lips finding yours. It was a tender kiss, sweet and soft. You broke it off after a couple seconds to giggle, but Jungkook pulled you back into it. He kissed you gently, yet with so much passion. You reciprocated his affection as your fingers intertwined with his hair, deepening the kiss.
He finally pulled away, smiling back at you. To be honest, you wish it lasted longer. However, you knew you would have had a hard time controlling yourself if it did.
“Thank you for dinner,” you thanked him with a soft voice.
“Of course, thank you for accompanying me,” he bowed like a gentleman and kissed your hand. You couldn’t help but laugh at his gesture.
“Too much?” he tilted his head.
“Don’t change a thing,” you continued to laugh.
All sorts of thoughts about Jungkook swam in your mind as you fell asleep that night.
Jungkook soon began to hangout with you every day. When he wasn’t out trying to take pictures, he would be in the bakery keeping you company. Your parents teased him, saying that he better buy something or else they’d kick him out, but they never did. In fact, your mom would always sneak him some freshly baked goods.
After work, you and Jungkook would spend even more time together. It didn’t matter if you guys were exploring nature, cooling off in the stream, or just watching movies; you enjoyed it all. It was nice having someone to talk to for a change. Jungkook never asked to make plans with you, he just assumed you guys would hangout the next day when he said “see ya tomorrow!”
You knew you had a crush on Jungkook, but you didn’t know how he felt. Yes, he took you on a date. Yes, you’ve kissed. Yes, you made in cum in his pants (not necessarily in that order). You were waiting on him to ask you to be his girlfriend. You didn’t want to pressure him, especially when you knew that he’d be going back to school in the fall.
One day, much to your chagrin, Jungkook was helping you with inventory. You argued that he shouldn’t work since he wasn’t getting paid, but he smiled and replied that spending time with you was all the payment he needed. You were too flustered to argue after that.
“Great, everything has been accounted for! Can you help me put this box back up there?” you asked him, nodding your head at a particularly high shelf that was out of your reach. You grabbed a step stool for him to make it easier.
Jungkook lifted up the heavy box of supplies with ease, and placed it back on the shelf. He looked down at you and smiled.
“What?” you cocked your head.
He said nothing as he leaned down and kissed your forehead, “You just look cute from up here.”
You looked away as you blushed, not knowing what to say. Jungkook laughed as he got down from the step stool. He teased you about it for the rest of the day.
Days flew by as it was getting closer and closer to Jungkook’s departure. You let Jungkook decide on what to do during his last day there. He picked you up at the bakery after your shift. He wanted to take one last stroll with you around town before he had to leave. You were about to hug him goodbye when he invited you over, saying that he had a box of popcorn he needed help finishing.
After watching a couple movies, Jungkook had his arms around you as you rested your head on his shoulder. Cuddling had become a norm between you two. Jungkook suddenly nudged your side, causing you to shriek.
“Sorry, just making sure you were still awake,” he giggled.
“I was, but now I definitely am,” you said as you returned the favor and tickled his sides.
It soon became a war of tickling as laughter erupted from both of you. Jungkook was just as ticklish as you were, making it a deadly battle. Before you knew it, you were straddling Jungkook, gripping both of his wrists in your hands. You both stared at each other as the laughter subsided, now replaced with heavy breathing.
“You could easily knock me over, you know,” you said as you lowered your nose to his.
“What if I don’t want to?” he whispered back.
He moved his head upwards to kiss you, catching you by surprise. You kissed him back, pushing him back down. You lowered your hips to rest on his hardened crotch. You let go of his wrists to help him take off his shirt before removing your own.
Once your lips connected again, Jungkook’s hands moved freely over your body, gently caressing your breasts. He treated you so tenderly, it made you even hornier. Your hands reached down to unzip his pants.
“Is this okay?” you paused to ask.
“Only if you take off your pants too,” he answered with a smirk.
Soon enough you were both down to just your underwear. You palmed Jungkook’s erection, curious to see it. It already felt huge in comparison to your hands.
“I want to fuck you, _____,” Jungkook groaned as you kissed his neck.
“I’m glad we want the same thing. Where do you want me?” you cooed.
“Like this is fine,” he quickly answered.
He helped you take off his underwear, revealing his massive dick. Your pussy clenched at the sight of it. You wriggled out of your panties and positioned yourself on top of him.
“Ready?” you asked.
Jungkook just nodded, his eyes wide with anticipation. He gulped as he watched you slowly lower yourself onto him, taking in each inch slowly. You moaned as he went deeper and deeper in you. You hadn’t had sex in a long time (and admittedly it wasn’t very good). Now, you were sopping wet and Jungkook was filling you up perfectly. Once you reached the base of his dick, you took your time going back up.
From the look on Jungkook’s face, he was in pure bliss. You continued to tease him as you fucked him slowly. You transitioned from taking his entire length to just swiveling around his tip, making him moan from the overstimulation. Jungkook dug his nails into your lower back, begging you to take all of him in again.
You leaned back over and peppered kisses along his chest and up his neck. Jungkook whimpered at the sensation, his breathing grew uneven. You giggled at him as you suckled on his neck, leaving wet kisses in your wake. Once you had enough of teasing him, you slammed back down onto him, and both your moans filled the room. Your hips began to move faster as you bounced on top of him. Jungkook’s grip on you tightened.
“I--I’m gonna cum,” he panicked.
You immediately hopped off, hoping to edge him. He whimpered at the loss of your warm pussy, but your plan seemed to work. His eyes begged you to get back on top.
“Now it’s your turn to fuck me,” you demanded as you laid down on your back.
Jungkook complied and positioned himself between your legs. He bent over to kiss you while he pushed his cock back inside of you. He took his time at first, but then tried to pick up the pace. His movements were awkward and stiff, and his pelvis hit your hips in a way that you knew they were going to bruise later.
“Jungkook, just relax,” you commanded.
Jungkook steadied his breathing and took your advice. He was finally able to find a rhythm and stuck to it. Luckily, it was the perfect rhythm for you as he continuously grazed your g-spot. Jungkook moaned with every stroke as your warm insides squeezed around him. You wrapped your legs around him, bringing him even closer. You looked up at him to see that the usual sweet star filled doe eyes of his had switched to a version of pure ecstasy as he gazed down at you with blown out pupils. The change was a little jarring, but also incredibly sexy when you realized the potential duality Jungkook could have. You pulled him into a deep kiss, tongues exploring foreign regions as he pounded into you.
“I’m gonna--,” his breath hitched.
“Cum on me baby,” you panted as you furiously rubbed your clit, desperate to cum with him.
With perfect timing, Jungkook got to feel you cum around him for a few seconds before he had to pull out and finish all over your chest. He gave you a quick peck on the cheek before scurrying off to find something to clean you with.
He rested his head on your chest as you held him close. You were falling asleep when he said something.
“Sorry, what did you say?” you asked him since you barely heard him.
“I am, well I guess was, a virgin,” Jungkook admitted.
“Oh,” you tried to mask your surprise.
“I didn’t wanna say anything. I mean, how lame is it that I’m a college senior and have never gotten laid. You’re probably surprised huh? I’m not lying, I swear.”
“I am surprised, but only because you seem like ladies would be all over you. You’re so handsome, funny, charming--”
“Yes yes keep going,” Jungkook joked.
“--and a genuinely good guy. Plus I feel like being a photographer would help you meet a lot of pretty girls,” you reasoned.
“While all of that is true, the real reason is pretty embarrassing. I’m...I’ve always been kinda scared of girls,” Jungkook sighed as you tried to suppress your laughter, “I’m not kidding! I always get so nervous around girls, I could never actually talk to them.”
“So am I not a girl in your eyes?” you teased.
“You’re a woman,” he answered cockily.
“Shut up! I hope your first time was enjoyable. Thanks for entrusting me with your v card,” you laughed.
You both continued joking and laughing the night away until you fell asleep in each other’s arms. While that night was enjoyable, it made Jungkook’s absence hurt more.
Life had sunk back into the same mundane routines once Jungkook left. Of course, he still kept in touch. He would text and video call you as often as he could. He’d send you pictures of his newest shooting locations, and you’d always be the first person he’d show his finished products.
You loved witnessing Jungkook’s passion grow, he had a new spark in him that wasn’t there before. With your encouragement as an extra shove, he applied to his dream job. He explained to you that it was with an agency that would send him to a random country where he’d work with a participating magazine company. You secretly envied him for even having the possibility of exploring the world.
Days and weeks started to blend together. Your parents insisted on having you help out more in the kitchen, presumably to get your mind off of Jungkook.
It was a weird fling you had with him. However, it also didn’t seem like a fling. Most flings didn’t still keep in touch in a long distance “friendship”, or whatever it was you had. You were never officially dating, but it sure as hell felt that way. You cursed yourself for waiting for him to ask, you should’ve just done it yourself. Of course, part of you felt like you’d just hold him back if you guys actually ended up dating.
These thoughts constantly swarmed your mind. Ironically, the only time you weren’t thinking about your dilemma was when you were chatting with Jungkook. The end of the semester was quickly approaching, and you could tell that he was getting antsy. He hadn’t gotten offers from anywhere that he applied. You could do nothing but give him hope but assuring him that someone somewhere will hire him.
You watched snow fall outside when you got a call.
“I GOT IN!!!” Jungkook exclaimed.
“What?! Where?!” you jumped up in excitement.
“My top choice! The one where they send me to another country! Guess where I’m going,” he sing songed.
“Umm… Italy?”
“Close! I’m going to España,” he said with a spanish accent.
“That’s amazing, Jungkook. I’m so proud of you! I knew you could do it. When do you leave?” you asked.
“In a week. God, I’m so excited! Oh, my parents are calling. I’ll talk to you later?”
“Of course. Congrats again,” you cheered before he hung up.
Before you knew it, you were crying. You were honestly happy for Jungkook, but reality hit you. You were never going to be able to tell him that you loved him. You were never going to be with him, not while you’re stuck in this town. It sucked, but you had no choice but to accept that.
Two days had passed since that phone call. Jungkook was probably busy packing and working out minor details, so you stayed out of his way. You figured things would probably be like this from now on. Why would he bother talking to a small town girl while he’s out exploring the world?
You were restocking the milk puddings rolls when the front bell chimed.
“I’ll be with you in a second,” you called out.
“No worries, I’ll wait all day if I have to,” a familiar voice responded.
You dropped the rolls as you turned around with lightning fast speed. Jungkook stood at the doorway, beaming a big bunny smile at you. You ran to him, embracing him in a tight hug. He wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead.
“Surprise,” he smiled.
“What are you doing here?” you asked as you wiped tears from your eyes.
“I needed to see you. I was planning on coming back and surprising you even before I left. You didn’t think I’d leave without saying goodbye, did you?” he ruffled your hair, “Oh, and those tiger flowers are beautiful,” he nodded over to the flower bouquet on the checkout counter.
“I got them because they reminded me of you,” you blushed, your ears turning red.
“Did I hear Jungkook?” you mom poked her head out of the kitchen, “Oh my goodness! Honey look! Jungkook is back!” she called your dad.
Your parents came out to greet him. He explained everything to them, and they congratulated him.
“How long will you be here? Aren’t you leaving soon?” your dad inquired.
“I leave tomorrow night. I wish I could stay longer,” Jungkook answered solemnly.
“____ suddenly doesn’t have to work until after you’ve left,” your mom smiled fondly at you.
Your eyes lit up as you kissed your parents on the cheek to thank them. After grabbing your jacket, you took Jungkook’s hand and dragged him out. You both aimlessly walked around the town as you chatted. He went more in depth with the details of his job. He was most excited about capturing photos of the city. After looking up some pictures of the architecture, he immediately fell in love with Madrid.
Jungkook invited you over to watch some of the short films he worked on over the past semester. While they were just videos of his friends with no plot, you could feel their friendship seeping through the screen. The way Jungkook played with music and colors really enhanced the already well shot video. You felt at peace sitting beside Jungkook on his bed as he showed you all his past projects. Part of you wished that this moment would never end.
“You’ve made me a better person, you know,” Jungkook said out of nowhere, “I’m more talkative around my friends, and I’ve gotten more comfortable with being myself.”
“I didn’t do anything, that’s all you,” you smiled as you poked his chest.
“You definitely helped,” he ran his fingers through your hair, “I love you, ____.”
Your heart skipped a beat.
“I love you too. I thought I’d never get to say that,” you said with a sigh of relief.
He looked into your eyes before leaning forward slowly. You’ve been waiting for this moment for so long, you practically pounced on him. You kissed him passionately, as if to show him how much you missed him. Clothes were thrown in every direction leading to bare skin being exposed.
Jungkook’s soft hands roamed across your body as if he were trying to memorize your every curve. His touch was a bit rougher than the last time, his lips crashed against yours as he pinched your nipples. You couldn’t tell if it was desperation, carnal lust, or just a new side of Jungkook, but you didn’t mind in the slightest. His erection pressed against your thigh as your hands tangled themselves in his dark hair. You reached down to grab his cock, gripping from the base and slowly dragging your hand to the tip and then back down. He shuddered at the sensation, moaning into your mouth.
“Should I get on top?” you batted your eyes.
“Nope, I have a better idea,” Jungkook growled as he flipped you over onto your knees, “Can I fuck you like this?”
“Fuck me however you want,” you answered gleefully.
Jungkook rammed into you without hesitation. He firmly gripped your hips to keep you in place as he thrusted into you. His dick sent waves of ecstasy as he crashed into you. He surprised you when he reached his hand around you to play with your clit, causing you to squirm under him.
“Be a good girl and stay still,” he ordered.
His newfound dominance turned you on. He was no longer the baby boy that followed your every move, although you were sure that side of him was still there somewhere. You got lost in pleasure and didn’t realize how far gone you were till you felt liquid dripping down your inner thighs.
“You’re so fucking wet baby. All this for me?” Jungkook panted as he continued snapping his hips into you.
“Mhm, of course. Only for you,” you managed to moan out between thrusts.
“That’s my good girl. Get up,” he demanded as he hopped off the bed.
You obeyed, curious as to what he was going to do. As soon as you got off the bed, he spun you around and pushed your chest back over the covers. He slipped back into you with ease, groaning as your slick juices coated his cock. This new position enabled Jungkook to directly hit your g-spot with each thrust. Again, his hand wrapped around your waist to find your clit. His other hand found purchase on your neck, slightly choking you. The overstimulation had you crying out in bliss that you had never experienced before.
You were practically gushing now as your wetness ran down your legs and sprayed onto Jungkook’s thighs with each strong impact. Jungkook lifted up one of your legs onto the bed, spreading your pussy.
“Now touch yourself for me,” Jungkook directed.
He didn’t have to tell you twice. Your legs started to shake as you played with your clit at the perfect pace while Jungkook drilled into you. You were sure that you had already came numerous times by this point, but you could feel the grand finale soon approaching.
“Jungkook I--” you didn’t get a chance to finish your sentence as you climaxed onto his dick. He was infatuated with the way you looked from behind, and he couldn’t get enough of it. He pushed you back onto the bed with your legs still hanging from the edge. He reinserted himself while you laid there, completely delusional from the pounding you had been receiving.
“You’re such a sexy woman,” he moaned as he anchored the weight of his arms onto your shoulders.
He continued his torment downwards. Your bountiful cheeks bounced back and forth while he repeatedly rammed into your g-spot causing you to release more of the juices his massive cock craved.
He slowed his pace but still kept going to help you ride out your high for as long as possible. The sensation of you cumming on him was enough to bring him right to the brink of no return.
“Can I cum on you?” he pleaded in a tone all too familiar to you.
“Please do,” you nodded.
“God, you’re so sexy,” he said as he gave you a couple more hard thrusts before pulling out and coating your ass with white strings.
Jungkook held you in his arms after wiping you down with a towel, both of your chests heaving in sync. You both managed to work up a sweat, but Jungkook still smelled amazing. He played with your hair as your eyelids started to get heavy.
“_____,” he whispered softly.
“Yes, Jungkook?” you replied with your eyes still closed.
“Come with me.”
“What?” your eyes shot open.
“Come with me to Spain. I know it sounds crazy, but I don’t care. You’ll finally get the adventure you’ve always wanted, and we’ll do it together,” he kissed your forehead.
His unexpected proposition had you overwhelmed. You were speechless. You would go with him in a heartbeat. It wouldn’t matter where you’d go, as long as you were with him.
“Jungkook...you know I can’t do that,” you fought back tears, nuzzling yourself further into his chest.
“I wanted to ask your parents as soon as I arrived but you rushed me out too quickly and--”
“I can’t leave them, you know that,” silent tears rolled down your cheeks.
“I think they’d understand. Plus, you’ve said that they’ve tried to convince you to go to college,” Jungkook was getting desperate, he thought you’d agree on the spot.
“They need my help now more than ever. My parents are getting old. As much as I want to leave this place, I can’t. I’m going to be stuck here forever. I’m so sorry, Jungkook,” you wept.
“It’s okay, ___. We can ask them tomorrow, how does that sound?” he rubbed your back.
“No, I can’t do that to them. You know they’ll say yes. I have to stay,” you sniffled.
“You’re a great daughter. I can’t force you to come with me. I’ll miss you. I don’t know how long I’ll be gone,” Jungkook’s voice started to falter.
“Don’t worry about me. Go live out your life. Eat great food. Take beautiful pictures. Meet pretty girls,” you tried to lighten the mood.
“You think I want to meet pretty girls? Why would I do that when I have you,” he hugged you tightly.
“We aren’t even dating, Jungkook. I don’t want to hinder you more than I already have,” you blurted.
“I...I know we aren’t dating. Not officially. But that’s just a stupid label. I want to be with you,” Jungkook’s voice softened to hide his pain.
“Maybe this was a bad idea,” you said as you got up.
Jungkook immediately pulled you back into him. Your nose brushed against his wet cheek, causing you to freeze up when you realized that he had also been crying.
“Please stay with me. At least just for tonight,” he pleaded.
“Alright. I can do that,” you softly kiss him.
You woke up the next morning with your head on Jungkook’s chest. Jungkook looked adorable while he was asleep, with his mouth agape and his hair falling messily over his forehead. You tried to inch away, but he just pulled you closer, making it impossible to escape.
He woke up with a yawn a couple minutes later. He smiled down at you before ruffling your hair.
“Jungkook, I’m sorry about last night. I--”
“Let’s not talk about it. This is my last day with you for god knows how long. Let’s just enjoy ourselves, okay?” he interrupted you.
It had been three years since that spring when you met Jungkook. You sometimes reminisce about the times you had with Jeon Jungkook. It honestly felt like a dream. Communication with him slowly faded away, and now the only conversations you had with him were one message long during birthdays and holidays. You kept up with him more through Instagram. He regularly uploaded his beautiful pictures, and you could tell that his talent only grew. He had a knack for making dull buildings and streets come to life.
Your parents planned to retire soon, leaving you to tend to the bakery by yourself. They mainly managed the front-of-house work during the busy hours now. Their goal was to finally sell the bakery, but you protested against it. As much as you wanted to be rid of the chains that tied you down, you were scared. You didn’t know what you would do if the bakery was suddenly gone. It was all you’ve ever known.
Ever since your parents announced their retirement plans, you started to dabble in pastry making. They were impressed with your skills, and your creations got added to the menu. Word spread that the already famous bakery was now carrying delicious pastries, and business soared.
You were busy decorating your latest desserts when your mother came into the kitchen.
“Your father and I have to go run a quick errand, we’ll be back soon!” she said before giving you time to protest. You grumbled to yourself as you placed strawberries on your cakes, praying that no one would come in.
“Hello? Anyone here? The sign says open,” someone called from the front.
‘God dammit’, you thought before putting on a fake customer service smile.
“Welcome to--” you stopped in your tracks.
Jungkook was standing in the middle of your bakery, looking even more handsome than you had remembered him. His face lit up as soon as he saw you. You couldn’t help yourself as you ran towards him, colliding into him with a forceful hug.
“I hear you sell desserts now,” he grinned.
“Jungkook! What are you doing here? Your hair, it’s so long! And...do you have tattoos now?!” you were in shock.
“Do I look more artsy now?” he laughed, “I came to see you. I wanted to try your desserts too, of course. No one would believe me when I said nothing can compare to your family’s bakery. Oh, I have a present for you.”
You became giddy with excitement as Jungkook brought out a brown paper bag and handed it to you. You pulled out prints of a beautiful girl standing in a forest. Wait...it looked familiar…
“Is this me?” you asked as your mouth hung open.
“Yeah, these are the pictures from when you took me on that picnic. Would you believe me if I said I barely had to touch anything up? They were already nearly perfect,” Jungkook said proudly.
“It’s because you’re a talented photographer,” you smiled.
“That, and because I had the perfect model. How could I not ask the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen to model for me?” he said as he tucked your hair behind your ear.
“So I wasn’t just practice?” you recalled asking him about it all those years ago.
“I was so nervous back then, I couldn’t bring myself to tell you the truth,” he laughed, “I’m much more open now.”
You promptly switched the ‘OPEN’ sign to ‘CLOSED’ and sat Jungkook down. You brought out one of your fresh strawberry cakes, eager to hear his opinion. His face contorted with pleasure as he took the first bite. He complimented the flavors and textures, saying that everything tasted like perfect harmony. You laughed together as he shared stories of his time abroad. He intently listened while you opened up about the struggles of the bakery.
“Anyway, that’s enough complaining for now. I’m happy you’re back! How long are you staying for this time?” you tilted your head.
“Depends,” Jungkook answered as he gazed out the window. He looked back at you with a serious expression. He quickly grabbed your hand and pulled you close, bringing your face just inches away from his.
“Do you still want to explore the world?” he asked.
“Of course, that’ll never change. But...you know I can’t,” you answered somberly.
“After everything you just told me, you still think you have to stay here?” Jungkook raised an eyebrow, “My next gig is going to be in France. Come with me this time, _____.”
You stared at him with a stunned expression. You thought he had forgotten about you. Now here he is, asking you to run away with him again.
“Why did you lose touch? I thought you had moved on. I made peace with that. God, it hurt like hell, but I came to terms with it. And now we’re doing this again,” your voice cracked as tears welled in your eyes.
“Honestly, it hurt me too much. I couldn’t bear talking to you every day or video chatting you, without knowing when I’d see you next. I never stopped thinking about you. I tried. I tried to forget...but no one could ever come close to you,” Jungkook cupped your cheek in his palm, “There’s a really good patissiere academy close to where I’ll be working. You could go there and sharpen your skills! Then maybe one day open up a bakery of your own...if you wanted.”
“But what about my parents--”
“Stop using us as an excuse to hold yourself back,” your mom scolded you as she entered the bakery.
“Did you like your surprise?” your dad winked.
“You knew?” you were bewildered.
“Jungkook contacted us a while back, asking if we thought his plan could ever be a possibility. I figured you were still head over heels for him since you never dated anyone else,” your mom shrugged.
“If you want to go, go. Don’t worry about us. We can sell the bakery, and finally retire,” your dad said.
“You have your parents’ blessing, ____. This decision is entirely up to you. What’s it gonna be? Will you come with me to France?” Jungkook asked again.
“I..,” you looked at your parents before your eyes wandered back to Jungkook, “Yes. I’d love to,” tears of joy rolled down your cheeks.
Jungkook got up and embraced you in a tight hug before he whispered, “I’ve missed you so much,” in your ear.
“Well, we better start packing,” Jungkook turned to your parents.
“Packing? Already?” your eyes widened.
“We leave by the end of the week!” Jungkook gleefully took your hand and dashed out of the store.
Jungkook dragged you through the town up to your house. You couldn’t help but smile as you watched his long hair bounce around while you ran. You could’ve sworn that sometimes they looked like bunny ears.
He was definitely Jungkook, but he seemed like the upgraded version of the shy boy you once knew. He had a new confident aura around him, and he seemed more manly than boyish now. Everything was happening so quickly, but you were nothing but excited for the adventures to come.
As long as Jungkook was by your side, you were ready to take on the world.

Heyo! I loved your headcanons for the brothers and Simeon as sirens, they were a truly *chef kiss*. Can we also have siren Barbatos and Diavolo? Yandere too and sfw, please!
Thanks in advance!
I'm always down to write Aquatic monsters.
🧜♂️Siren Diavolo and Barbatos🧜♂️ as a yanderes GN- reader SFW
Diavolo
Appearance
Diavolo is much, much larger than other sirens. While sirens grow to be about a foot or two bigger than humans, Diavolo is massive, fifteen feet long and with tons of bulk and muscle to match his massive size. He looks more similar in size to a giant than a siren.
Despite his size he is dazzling in the sun. When his crimson hair catches beams of light he looks divine, almost like a holy glow surrounds him as he rests on the rocks. His tail is the same stunning red as the blood red sunset and has a bright pearlescent. His scales are just as reflective and polished as a bright red sports car. His skin is deeply kissed by the sun, making his skin look smooth and shiny. His nightshade red fins are long and butterfly shaped; they trail slightly behind him like silk.
He wears all kinds of jewels and golds, all of them perfectly fit around his skull and fins. They drift perfectly around his large frame and glimmer even in the smallest amount of light.
Diavolo is the only siren able to keep his glamor up even if he’s excited, in the water, or even angry. He has full control over it and only shifts to it when he’s actively trying to strike fear into something or someone. His true form is like that of sea monsters in folktales, monstrous in size and able to take a ship down into the dark depths of the open ocean, to swallow whole crews, and create winds and storms as he lets out a devilish scream which can be heard for hundreds of miles around.
Royalty amongst Loners and Sunken Hideaway
Despite their lone lifestyles, only really enjoying the company of their mates, most Sirens look to Diavolo as more of a god than any type of king or prince despite having the title of prince. They worship his power and bow down to his whims and needs. They bring him tributes in the form of small treasures and Diavolo returns these gifts with blessings of more intoxicating songs, stronger wills, his watchful eye and protection, or just overall greater strength. Diavolo seems to freely give these boons no matter how small the gift.
Since he’s a well known and well visited siren, he’s built his home in the sunken ruins of a castle in a city whose culture and history has died long ago. It’s well taken care of by servants who have pledged their lives to Prince Diavolo and are surprisingly pleasant and tolerable with one another. They equate this to Diavolo’s power and grace but only those who are truly loyal to Diavolo stay here.
His voice can bring either madness or blessings and can be the most beautiful thing your ears could ever hope to hear or one so evil, devious, and grotesque you’re driven into a hypnotic bloodlust to those with even the strongest wills. His lullabies sound so melancholic.
He hides away in a large garden which has its own open air biosphere bathed in light by a glass ceiling which has yet to crack yet bathes the whole garden in a beautiful light. A single golden curly willow grows in the center with dozens of flowers growing around it. Here the air is surprisingly fresh and floats on the surface never touching the water around it like it’s a time capsule. He’ll lounge here to clear his head watching the butterflies that have grown here, alone and have never seen the outside.
Spending time with you
You and only you heard his song and wept. The feelings of his loneliness tugged at your heart instead of your head being filled with euphoric thoughts of power and blessings or instantly pounding through your skull until you screamed. You truly heard his song, understood the lyrics behind them and felt the way he did when he sang them. When he saw your face littered with tears and face hot with sympathy for him he felt his whole body go numb. You were something special, someone truly remarkable. He needed to know more about you.
And so started a passion in his heart to learn everything about you, your traditions, your light quirks, your hobbies and everything he could possibly learn. It sent him down a rabbit hole of studying humans that he refused to climb out of and gladly let swallow him if it just allowed him to get closer to you and understand you better.
He doesn’t mind what form you see him in, as long as he can see you he’s thrilled and happy. He’ll approach you like a dog, his tail swishing excitedly as he asks you questions he formed in his head from the day. He has to be careful in his true form otherwise he can cause a lot of damage to the nearby area and draw too much attention to you two.
He loves to pick you up and hold you, be in his true form or not and travel with you on his back, or when his true form shows in his hands or on his head as he intentionally kicks up some water to playfully mist you. Moments like these make him forget he was ever even alone to begin with.
If you ever wanted to see some kind of sea creature or visit some island he’s happy to oblige bringing the creature over with his divine rule over the ocean or happily just takes you there one day while making you cover your eyes to surprise you. The look on your face makes his heart swell so much he almost feels like it will jump out of his mouth if he’s not careful.
Dark Tendencies
Diavolo isn’t against using others to get what he wants, he'll ruin everything for anyone or anything to get what he wants. He’ll destroy small islands and wipe out ports so nothing can distract you from dates he takes you on.
If he feels like you aren’t close enough to him or are drifting away from him, for some reason or another, he’s simply going to just pluck you away from your old life so you don’t have any excuse to be away from him anymore. You're his now, you don’t have to worry about that silly stuff anymore, both of you can be together now. Why not just get married now? It would be much easier. Siren’s don’t marry, they just pick a mate but he’s willing to put the frills on it for you and your human ways. He finds it cute!
He doesn’t ever connect the dots if you struggle against him or plead for him to let you go, he’s wrapped up in his own delusions of you being a happy little couple that he’ll blame some outside force. If you go along with him he’ll remain peaceful and sweet.
He absolutely hates it when other sirens see you and while he’s not outwardly violent to them he is quite hostile. Grinding his teeth and asking them to look away from you while his tail twitches with the intent to lash out.
He gave you your own little haven to decorate, he gave you the garden all for your own. He even made sure to promise to give you your own space and privacy here, just as long as you come to his call. Don’t worry though, only you, him, and Barbatos know of this place, and you can’t run from him here!
Misc stuff
His scales shed infrequently since he doesn’t get into fights with other sirens since all of them know better. His scales are radiating with his power and are well known to bring massive good luck to all those Diavolo gives them to. He’s always giving you things made from his scales and he’s so thrilled to see you in them. He likes adding them to a circlet crown he had made custom just for you so you can match him. He plans on matching you to him with every little piece of jewelry, even down to matching rings.
He requires you to sleep with him. He can sleep out of the water perfectly fine and just pulls you into a lavish den he made for the two of you. It’s somehow unbelievably cozy sleeping with him. His body is warm and everything he set up is the best out there. He just holds you in his warm arms and nods off with you.
He’s quite a picky eater. He refuses to eat anything he doesn’t like and will only eat it if you so happen to beg him to, but only if you're insistent, otherwise he’s already slowly drifting away from it.
Barbatos
Appearance
For a siren he’s smaller than most. He’s quite slender and not much muscle to him, but despite his size, his appearance is perfect in every way, not a hair out of position, not a scale that isn’t out of polished or asymmetric, and his skin without a blemish or scar to be found. He takes a huge amount of time to groom himself perfectly.
His scales more resemble sea snakes, even having black stripes like them, though his tail is a solid dark seafoam green. He’s not especially radiant compared to others, but he doesn’t mind at all, he prefers to melt into the background more.
His tailfin is wide though, having a lyretail shape with black stripes going across it. It’s the same dark color as his scales and he has only two side fins but they look like long ribbons stretching from his hips to about halfway down his tail.
His glamor when melted away leaves behind an even darker looking creature. He looks like a stormy sea and is covered in nasty sharp thorns that don’t just stop at his elbows but lead down to his hips and thin yet long and sharp claws and stark black webbing in between without a tear or hole.
Serving Another
Serving the Royal Family was an honor his family was born with for generations and one he realizes the importance to. Diavolo is powerful enough to sink ships and cities and he provided some of that power and grace onto him rewarding him and his ancestors before him for loyalty, slowly turning Barbatos’s family into nearly just as powerful creatures as him.
He enjoys watching the whims of a child like god try to make sense of a kingdom, it's good fun to see him enjoying his life he is able to live vicariously through his high energy.
He puts his all into everything he does, he hates wasted efforts so he does everything he can into what he does but it gets tiring. Sometimes when trying to sleep, he finds himself unable. He’s always had poor sleep but he’s dealt with it for so long now that it's normal for him now. He starts his morning eating a small slice of kelp known for reducing head pain, all while preparing for the morning.
Spending time with you
If Diavolo took an interest in a human then you certainly had to be interesting. Well when he met you and saw you drinking tea with a huge Diavolo stretched around the floating garden. He just knew you were a human with a soul like no other.
He often brings you your favorite beverages and chats with you, simply at first to get to know you but he found you captivating, each word you spoke he held onto like it was the last he would ever hear and it was gospel. He smiles as you recall old memories, describing how you ended up here. The way you phrased things was unlike anything he had ever heard.
He’s taken the time to find old waterlogged books that were left abandoned in the old library and help restore them for you to read. Inside you find wondrous and fantastical stories of this old kingdom all of them enthralling, and as you read he’s happy to bring you a beverage once more and enjoy your company even if it’s in silence.
Once he’s grown closer with you he often finds himself giving you lingering touches as he pats your shoulder for your attention or grazes his hand on yours when delivering food to you. He even says the most romantic and poetic things to you without even noticing. He falls in love slowly but deeply and almost innocently. He just treasures your time and you as a person, never judging or doubting you.
There was a day when he had pulled you into a parting hug, wishing you a goodnight as Diavolo would return you to the surface but he had simply fallen asleep in your arms. Even Diavolo was shocked as he had never done anything close to something like this. It turns out Barbatos is at the most ease when he’s with you. All of his sleepless nights had just suddenly caught up with him.
Dark Tendencies
His love quickly shifts one day when he see your finger pricked by a stray thorn from a wild flower and as he wiped up the blood with a handkerchief and sees those butterflies fluttering around the wound to drink the blood he realised just how fragile you really were and how nature and life take advantage of that as soon as it could. He couldn’t take losing you. So one day he calls you and just takes you. You think it's just another visit with Baratos fetching you but he takes you to a deep and dark underground cave. Soft phosphorus moss grows all over in cushioned patches and with every step it glows brighter under your feet.
He explains it all to you, openly and honestly but no matter how you plead or try to reason with you, he believes you need to be down here forever. Away from the outside world that would care so little for the death of you and move on like nothing were to happen. He wanted you safe, around and immortalized; he'll never forget you.
He provides you with an array of pleasantries that would have no chance of harming you. He’s damn near baby proofed the small cave but he ensures it's as comfortable as it can be, bringing you three meals a day, all of your favorite drinks and snacks even if you fight him or give him the silent treatment he’s never neglectful of your needs. He believes one day you’ll come to see how much he did for you and understand he just wants you safe.

He’s a clean freak and refuses to let you sleep on dirt or muck, he’ll thoroughly wash the moss through and treat it so it feels like you're walking on clouds without feeling any slime, having bugs, or being dirty. It's so well taken care of that they look fake.
He hates crabs. He hates those distasteful bottom feeders, their disgusting pinchers and empty eyes. He’s sure to keep them as far away as he can, if startled by one he slams it with his tail with enough force to turn it into little pieces and he’s still frightened by them despite the power difference.
