AU thing where Owain (Adonis) ended up in Remnant, on the run with his child from some really bad wizards for book spoiler reasons. After getting stuck there, he decides to make the most of the situation and raise his kid in Remnant.

Beacon Academy: Professor Owain Tyto - Dust Sciences

Semblance: ??? - He has convinced everyone that he had a semblance that lets him see the composition of dust at super high magnification and clarity. In actuality this is just a natural thing all humans from his world do; he's a literal wizard.

A strict yet effective teacher who tailors his teaching for every student. Comes off as aloof but he really does care about his friends and colleagues.

He recently became a teacher at Beacon because his kid, Shea really wants to hang out with other kids. Though Shea is about 13-ish, they insist on going to a huntsman Academy to prove that they can look after themselves. So Owain was like "Ok, I suppose it would be good if you made friends."

Secret: He arrived in Remnant some hundred years (lifespans of Magusian humans are crazy long) before the main storyline. He and Ozma are long time friends. He is the oldest surviving member of Ozma's inner circle.

Thanks to him, technology has greatly advanced to the point where Dust is harnessed so effectively that it's almost like the good ol days when magic was a common thing. Owain may have had a hand in this by teaching and influencing many scientists over the years in secret but he won't admit it.

The Grimm threat is greatly reduced but ever present. He may or may not be the reason why Salem is trapped in ice.

Still, there Salem's presence is felt through her doomsday cult and they are the main threat of the story. They intend on someday freeing their queen and using the Grimm pools to continue her experiments. There is also a really big Grimm that has been kept hidden over millennia - Salem's masterpiece.

Owain has been researching the Grimm pools in secret to figure out how to kill Salem. He might have been infected by the pools (hence him covering one of his arms with his cloak).

He prefers to lay low and stay in the background (despite what his outfit might have you think). He can't let people know he has otherworldly magic since it'd cause people to panic. Ozma is the only one who knows.

Might as well start posting Eyes of Magus lore here, so I'll start with explaining what Magus is

Magus, the Many Eyed God, All-Illuminating "Magus is knowledge. All that was, all that is and all that is yet to be known."

Magus is simultaneously a god and a world. Its many "faces" appear like the complex and ever-evolving patterns of a kaleidoscope. Like a kaleidoscope, these faces can be revealed by "turning" your perspective ever so slightly. It grows and changes the more it learns. Whether Magus is a conscious being or not is still up to debate by scholars across Tirra.

Each face is so vast that directions and methods of navigation are so much more different than our own world. You can keep walking the same direction forever and you'll never go back to the same point you started from.

The following faces are as follows:

Kyrus: "The membrane that conceals and binds all things. One must channel Focus to see through Kyrus and access the outer worlds."

Tirra: "The material, a place lush with life. Humans and other Tirran beings reside in this realm. All knowledge drawn from this realm are of an elemental nature, where matter, structure and reactions are of concern."

Roya: "A world of dreams and thoughts. It is a place of chaos, formed by the collective minds of all living beings. The membranes of Kyrus here are much weaker than any of the other worlds known to humans. As such, strange things never before experienced by Tirrans have been known to briefly meet them in dreams."

Paradis: "The divine library where all the dead must go. Their Essences - their knowledge... All that is known unites with Magus."

Kaeva: "The face of Magus that looks outward to the unknown. Strange worlds, where Daimons and Eudaimons reside, exist in Kaeva - take caution when looking into the darkness."

He could feel some heat in his cheeks, which came as a surprise to him. Placing his hand on his face, he could feel it shed its cold, hard demeanour. The mask indeed fell away, revealing a look of wonder and curiosity. Seeing that side of him made the hedge witch laugh.

Unable to hide his embarrassment, he let the emotion overwhelm him. He never before had let his defences down and he was cursing himself for it. She was making a fool of him but for some reason, it didn't detract from his interest in her.

“Now now, there's nothing to be ashamed of,” she said as she slowed her pace and drew closer. “When we make camp for the night, follow my song. I shall teach you what you seek.”

The air of mystery in her words only served to intrigue Adonis more. She walked backward faster now, going back to her original position before turning back

“But be careful now, you wouldn't want to…”

Adonis felt something collide into him. Next light of the Morningstar filled his vision and he found himself surrounded by fir trees in a pile of other soldiers who were cursing and grumbling at him.

“... trip.”

Hi!!!!!! I love your AUs, I just binge read them!!!!!!! I love how you draw Georgie, Melanie and Gerry in particular!

I wanted to ask, in the Magus AU, what happened to Mary? And Eric? Did something similar to the Gertrude Still Lives AU happen?

Also all the details in their clothes (in the Magus AU) are stunning! Is there a particular reason why Gerry's outfits are always This Is A Titties Out kind of outfit?

Unfortunately, this AU is more like the canon than GiSA with the Keay family, except Mary wasn't a proper witch- no titles, no school, -just her trying (and failing) with magic. So no Eric in this one :/

I just think it fits this AU more.

So, I tried to translate Mahoutsukai no Yome chapter 97. The main reason was because I'm curious about Ashen Eye and Stella relationship.

It was originally from portuguese, and i used google translate, there's sentence that different from the original translation, so idk if it correct or not. Even so, enjoy!

God Stella is actually brave af for being willing to go back to Chise and Elias’ house after everything that happened in season 1. The last time she showed up and ran into Elias he knocked her out and tried to kill her

Of course, it’s possible that she doesn’t remember that since she was being controlled by Joseph at that time, so she also may not remember being transported to his lair either. Either way it’s amazing that Chise even trusts Elias to be around her, she must’ve given him one hell of a talk about her

And then when she goes for a walk with Chise and then this happens??

She’s gotta still have PTSD from the Ashen Eye incident. As soon as she sees this fog she must be thinking how over it is and how a malevolent spirit is after and is gonna abduct her just like what happened with her brother
