Got to disagree with the " it being even remotely the druids fault. U saw how capitalistic, classist and evil the wizard class was, they knew them

If the ring of gold and silver new of it it would be a few decades at most before they started to try stuff with the tree AND the betrayers minions would have more easily discovered it was the key to releasing them.

But larrynn thought she knew better than anyone. Didnt trust her friends. The only reason to tey this NOW is cus shed have to wait another 7 years. So she put not trying to aave a friend (cus she thought he was dead) but just...finishing her project....for no good reason, over her friends, over the citizens, over the city. If shed have gone through proper channels and made a plea . Even threatened the druids thry mighr have been forced to tell her. Heck they could have even done so woth the stipulation the memory be removed woth her only knowing there was a good reason.

The fact is she was selfish and put her EGO before everyone else including her friends and when her OWN SELFISHNESS put her frienda at risk she damaged the city and killed half thr planet because she was so full of herself she couldnt fathom anyone being smarter , wiser or a better protector than her.

And hell maybe it wasnt her maybe it woulda happened regardless.but just like she didnt know she might release the betrayers she didnt KNOW something bad WOULDNT happen. She just assumed other peoples things were worthless. Even if it didnt destroy thr world as far as we knew the tree was a person and she was willing to murder just to keep from waiting another 7 years

A fascinating and fun character. But dont blame the ashari for knowing that wizards are shit
