Do you like keeping all your villagers' homes close together or are they spread throughout your island?

I moved all my villagers within proximity of each other in recent months, but I'm overwhelmed with the amount of free island space I have now lol.

Thinking abt spreading some of my villagers back out a bit so they can have their own yards tailored to their interests. 🤔
