Lono: "Alright!

I guess I'm done with the prototype. Scone with lots of pumpkin and… Mont Blanc made with freshly harvested chestnuts! Well, here you go! Please taste it guys."

I tasted the scones and the mont blancs as requested by Lono. Both were as delicious as those from the finest stores.

> "So tasty!"

Fennesz: "Yes! That's what I'm talking about, Lono."

Nac: "It is hard to believe that you can make pastries this good on such a small budget… I am sure the visitors will love these treats as well."

Lono: "Oh, I see… it's good, then."

Contrary to our great satisfaction with the taste... Lono's expression seemed a bit less cheerful.

> "What's wrong, Lono?"

Lono: "Huh? No, um…"

Fennesz: "Could it be… there is something on your mind?"

Lono: "Nah… It's not something that bothers me that much. If I could expect more... I just think it looks a little too plain."

Nac: "The looks...?"

Lono: "Yes. I think this pastry lacks a festive touch… Normally, Bastien and I would come up with a decorative touch afterwards."

Nac: "I see… Lono, you were thinking that 'the sweets should have fun Halloween-like decorations,' right?"

Lono: "Oh, no! I was just wondering. We don't have a budget this time... I think it's good enough as it is."

Nac: "Hmmm… Indeed, Lono's concern is valid. I think the customers might appreciate it if the snacks had a little more impact. So here is a suggestion.... How about decorating the mont blancs with orangettes?"

> "Orangette...?"

Nac: "Fufu… And then we can use this chocolate to draw a face on the mont blanc… If we cut the orangette and decorate it like ears... See? Isn't it cute?"

Fennesz: "It's true! Just like Muu!"

Lono: "Hahaha! Yes, this one has a great impact! This will definitely sell, no doubt about it!"

Nac: "Fufufu. Thank you very much, my lord."

Fennesz: "Ah, but... It certainly looks so much better... But if we were to add orangettes...  I think that would be way over our budget, wouldn't it?"

Nac: "No problem, don't worry about that. I usually have a stockpile of orangette ingredients. If it's not enough, I will pay for it out of my own pocket. Therefore, the budget of the mansion will not be charged at all!"

Lono: "Eh? But then… Mr. Nac, you'll have to pay for everything yourself…"

> "Are you sure about that?"

Nac: "Yes, no problem at all. I can make even better pastries with my beloved orangettes… and if it can even save the mansion from its financial crisis… I couldn't be happier!"

Lono: "R-really? You're not actually pushing yourself too hard, right? Mr. Nac, you always put the mansion before yourself…"

Nac: "Well, well? Are you really that worried about me, Lono?"

Lono: "Of course I am. I have the impression that you're always working, Mr. Nac. I'm an early riser myself, and yet it's still a mystery to me when you sleep."

Fennesz: "That's right... Nac's workload is quite heavy, even among the butlers. He goes out for negotiations together with Mr. Lucas.... He handles most of the external affairs.

In addition to that, he handles the tedious financial and administrative matters… He even goes on night patrols every night…

The phrase 'behind the scenes'... It really is meant for Nac."

Nac: "Fufufu… Thank you very much, everyone. Your kind words are very much appreciated. But please do not worry! I, Nac, am really fine. It's my pleasure to be of service to the lord and everyone in the mansion.  Even now, I am filled with happiness when I receive words of gratitude from everyone like this…"

Lono: "Is that so? I sure hope that's the case... Oh, that's right. When I have time, I'll make you an orangette.

Actually, I heard that you like orangettes… so I've been studying the recipe for orangette.

I will make you the most delicious orangette in the world! Please keep an eye out for it."

Nac: "Oh...! What a kind and energetic young man. Thank you very much. I am eagerly looking forward to it. Also, if possible, could you prepare one for the lord as well…?"

Lono: "Of course! Please look forward to it."

Fennesz: "Fufu... In any case, it seems that the treats for the party will be fine now."

i just woke up so i haven't actually watched the pokemon direct thingy yet, but i heard they mentioned they aren't pushing out another console release at all for 2024 and if that's true then frankly THAT news is way more hype than any actual game announcement could ever be. go girl let us wait!! this is genuinely what i've been begging for for years now

It’s based on a theory i had about botw back before the game was released, essentially: why does link wake up alone in a tank of water with no memories? what if it was because he didn’t even exist before that point?

In my au, the holder of the triforce of courage never appears; and Zelda, knowing the prophecy that talks about the wielders of Wisdom, Courage, and Power, bioengineers a synthetic Hylian to play the role of Hero and right the balance of the world (that ofc being Link in my au).

Now that the fic has become E-rated I have made that E-rating work hard, by which I mean the latter half the fic has a lot of porn in it to make up for the 'slow' burn of the first half.

No I think it's really cool and awesome that i've literally had to fight for my life for everything i've ever gotten.It's awesome.It's sexy. and fight for things I didn't get. i remembered a really cool example recently.

from kindergarten to my senior year of high school, I was an honor student and people expected me to get like my ph. D or whatever. i graduated in 2020, i won this extremely difficult to obtain highly competitive scholarship. it was supposed to be a full ride. then I couldn't fuxking use it because somehow, with some fine print, it wasn't a full ride. i had to forfeit it for some other scholarship that I had that I got because I was poor (lol) and that was supposed to also be a full ride, because i couldnt have both, and that wasn't either. And I didn't know until I was almost on my second semester and had thousands of dollars unpaid.

Then I was forced to move states (moved back in w my parents, who moved to a new state the week after i started college) due to the financial hardship because I'd also lost my job due to covid, so i had to give up that scholarship, too. my new job weirdly had a scholarship program and I worked my ass off to win it, then I never got paid out. i was in Florida and the headquarters was in Ohio. the woman who was supposed to be overseeing it was a total bitch and so was her assistant. so I had to drag my boss, my boss's boss, and the president of the corporation into a long-winded email chain and play telephone tag with corporate and my new school's finance dept in order to actually acquire the funds that i had earned. the kicker is that I didn't actually receive it by the deadline, because of that bitch prolonging the process, so I still had to take out another few thousand dollar loan in order to pay for my tuition. i couldn't apply it to the next semester because I was on my last semester ( due to the chaos that was my college experience, I took a lot of classes over breaks, so I could finish early and I only got an associates). i don't remember how i accomplished this, but somehow I got the school to just give me the money. Since it was like I paid them a surplus that I wasn't using, I guess? so thank fuck after all that fighting i was actually able to benefit from that. but yeah. nothing in my life ever comes fucking easy.

And if anyone ever wonders why an "academic genius" with huge ambitions to do a great many wonderous things beyond what i am doing now stopped themself at a 2 year degree, THIS IS WHY.

yea sex is cool, but did you know that between may 24th and july 31st of 2017, japanese players that have reached act 3 of fire emblem echoes could go to a 7-eleven and connect to a hotspot on their 3ds, which would spawn an npc you could talk to in 1 of 2 different game locations (zofia castle on alm's route, zofia port on celica's). this npc would give you one of several items once per day until the event's end. the first 2 items you get guaranteed are the seven sword and eleven shield, which have boosted effects between turns 7 and 11. the sword at max forges has 7 might and 110 hit, and the shield gives 4 defense and 3 resistance. the sword's blade is also shaped like a 7, and the shield has a clock pattern with the hands pointing to 11:00. after receiving the sword and shield, you could continue to talk to the npc, who would give you a random food item based on 7-eleven's menu.
