The rain kept pouring, and the skies have been hiding the sun as if there's only night to be seen.

You reached out to the bedside table for your cup of coffee, only to grunt in pain as your headache resurfaced with your sudden movement. You heard the door closed as his voice called your name in haste.

"Baby, stop moving. I'll get that."

With your eyes almost shutting close again, you can see his figure moving on your side of the bed. He was wearing very comfy clothes, sweaters and jogging pants. His hair was messy, but it made him look so much more attractive. You mumbled something as he sat beside you.

"Sit up, you'll spill the coffee on the sheets." He said as he guided your weak body to sit up. You've been burning hot since dawn, and he can't sleep again when your fever hasn't gone down for a bit. You grunted as your back straightened, feeling the coldness of the room when your arms got exposed. Your boyfriend instantly noticed and brought the covers up to your chest, trying to make you feel warm again. You chuckled as you patted his hands away.

"How would I drink my coffee?" You mumbled, making him stop. His eyes widened, wider than his usual wide eyes.

He's already making your day with his cuteness.

"Kyungsoo-ah." You said as you watched him carefully bringing the cup of coffee to you. His eyes met yours as soon as you called him. Those eyes that caught your attention the first time you saw him. They're full of wonder and curiosity before, and now, they're still the same but with love and sincerity this time. He tilted his head. "Thank you."

"Psh, I thought something was wrong. Here, warm yourself up." He smiled as he gently grabbed your hands to wrap them around the warm cup. You smiled, feeling content with how much he's been taking care of you. "I'm still heating the soup. The meds are here." He tapped the side table before leaning in.

You raised your eyebrows at him, lips quirked up.

"What is it? You can't flirt with a sick person, Kyungsoo." You giggled as he caressed your blushing cheek. Your lips were pale, but they were still seductive and sexy in his eyes. "I know that look."

"What look? I'm just checking if your fever went down already."

"You liar. You just checked my temperature 5 minutes ago."

"I want to check it again." Kyungsoo smiled as he kissed your cheek, feeling the smoke from the cup of coffee you're holding. He nuzzled his nose on your skin before pulling away. "I'll bring the soup. Stay still, okay?"

"It's not like I want to move around in this state." You shrugged before taking a sip of the coffee. It was not too sweet, just as you like it. Kyungsoo stood up, patting his pants as he walked back to the door. You glanced at the side of the bed and saw that he didn't make his side of the bed.

"You have work in an hour, right?" You breathed out as the warm liquid comforted your shivering form. He turned to you with a grin. "What's that look? You filed a leave?" You jokingly said before taking another sip.

You almost spit out your coffee when he nodded.

"What? You're sick, baby." He looked at you as if offended by your reaction.

"This is just a cold, Kyungsoo!"

"Still sick." He shrugged as he leaned against the door. He pointed at the sheets with a disapproving look. "Watch the sheets, babe."

"I get sick only for a day! Two days at most, but it's not serious, man!" You incredulously said as you laughed at his furrowing brows. He's not having any of your reasons. "You don't need to file a leave."

"I already filed a leave for three days, in case you're still sick on the second day. The third day will be… cuddle day since I need to rest." He mumbled confidently as he rolled his eyes, making you swoon. You placed the cup back on the bed side table. "I'll just be worrying about you at work, so this is the best choice—"

"Come here, you sweet shit—"

"Words, babe." Kyungsoo sternly said as he walked back to you with his slouching form. You laughed, admiring how strict he was with you. No wonder he managed to handle your personality.

He tamed the notorious you.

You opened your arms lovingly and welcomed his warmth. Kyungsoo wrapped his arms around you while immediately settling his head on top of yours. You nuzzled your nose on his chest, feeling sleepy and content with him beside you.

"I don't think I need meds anymore. I just need you." You said in an annoyingly sweet voice, making Kyungsoo chuckle. His chest quivered, and you enjoyed hearing his heartbeat from there. His arms tightened around you as he kissed the top of your head.

"Shut up. You'll get me sick."

A/N: I had posted this one before but I wasn't completely happy with it so I did a bit of editing and reuploaded it. I hope you all enjoy, and there will be a part 2.

Pairing: Do Kyungsoo x Reader

He was standoffish and completely unconcerned with anything that didn’t have to do with himself or his gang. Well, they weren’t necessarily a gang, but they weren’t exactly keepers of the peace either. They went by EXO and everyone knew better than to piss them off. He wasn’t the leader but by the way he acted, you would have thought otherwise. His friends weren’t really like him, not all the time. They knew how to laugh and smile and joke around.

Not Do Kyungsoo.

In all the years that you’ve known of them, you had never seen a single shred of happiness come across his face. Almost everything about him should make you want to keep your distance and usually, you did try to avoid going to their spots. No one ever wants to be to close if or when something happened.

So today was a complete accident.

After work, you had decided to stop to get something for dinner at the restaurant that opened up down the street a few months ago. It was a locally owned, a cute little mom-and-pop type diner. Surprisingly there weren’t a lot of people there, just a few families scattered around the room. The sign on the podium in the front said to seat yourself so you chose a booth in the back. Just as you had finished ordering and the waiter was walking away, they walked in.

Kyungsoo. His face was emotionless with an icy stare, wearing a black long sleeve shirt with one hand tucked into the pocket of his dark jeans as he moved through the room to sit at a large table with his friends following loudly behind him. As soon as they sat down drinks were brought out to them, without actually having to order anything, along with their food shortly after. You just figured that they came here often enough until an older lady came from the kitchen saying quick hellos to the 8 other guys and stopping in front of Kyungsoo.

“Stand up and give your mother a proper hug and kiss on the cheek,” she said with her hands on her hips. You thought maybe you heard her wrong until he stood up and did exactly as she said.

As the guys let out a bit of laughter from the exchange, you had practically choked to death on your water. You were hoping to not have been too loud and drawn attention to yourself but with the few people that remained that was highly unlikely. You looked around the room only to lock eyes, his narrowed and unwavering. Even after you turned away you could still feel his gaze on you, only causing the heat to rise to your cheeks more.

You attempted to ignore the fact that they were there and just wait for your food but it wasn’t easy. Every once in awhile there were small outbursts pulling your attention to the group of boys, and each time you looked up Kyungsoo was in the same position. Leaning back in his seat his right arm slung over the back of his chair unbothered by what was going on around him. He just sat there, never really participating in the conversation, he just listened and nodded along.

Does he ever actually speak? You found yourself starting to get curious and your mind wandered as you ate. Why did he seem so reserved? Is he always like this? You couldn’t help but look over at him only to quickly looking away when you thought he was going to look up, trying not to make it obvious. He did absolutely nothing and yet he was the most interesting thing in the room.

You were about to get up to ask for a to-go box when another group of guys had walked in. Monsta X, another gang from a neighboring town, just as dangerous but much more careless about it. They sat at a table closer to the front, bringing in just as much chaos if not more than the boys before.

The woman from earlier came back up to the front, “I’m sorry boys we are getting ready to close, you’ll have to come back when we open again.”

One of them stood up, Shownu, the leader and an all-around bad boy, his was voice condescending, “You’re still open now and clearly have other customers.” Looking around the restaurant now realizing that you were the only customer still there other than the two groups.

“She told you nicely, they’re closing and to come back another day,” Kyungsoo replied now leaning forward on the table, taking a sip from his cup before looking up at him. “But I think you should just forget about this place and don’t come back.” This was the first time you heard him really say anything. His face was expressionless but his voice was low and harsh, it was much deeper than you had expected it to be.

“You got a lot of nerve thinking you can talk to me like that,” he replied with a laugh crossing his arms, making Kyungsoo stand.

“So do you, thinking you can talk to her like that,” he took a step closer, only slightly having to look up at him. “I suggest you listen to what I said and leave now,” his fists tightening at his sides.

The look in their eyes was filled with fire and hostility, both trying to make the other back down. You were on the complete opposite side of the room but you could still feel the tension radiating off of them.

“Alright, D.O. that's enough,” Suho, the real leader of the group, said pulling Kyungsoo back to step between them facing Shownu, “It’s definitely time for you to leave.” That's when the rest of the guys stood to backup Suho.

“Psh whatever. Let's go,” finally backing down motioning for his members to stand. “But we’ll be back, don’t worry,” he said looking over his shoulder to wink at you with a smirk on his face.

Kyungsoo followed his eyes straight to you. You could feel your face instantly started to burn red when your eyes met again. This time you could see the danger flicker through him. He slowly turned back to Shownu calling after him, “If I have to see you again, you’ll regret it.” His voice is more threatening than before.

Shownu just laughed in response as he walked through the door with the rest of Monsta X following behind, leaving only you and EXO.

You knew that it would probably be best if you left now too, but you couldn’t make yourself get up. You had witnessed everything that just happened so you couldn’t help but feel a little awkward. You just look back down at your food trying to decide how long to wait before getting up to leave.

You only hear the footsteps as they reached the table, followed by someone clearing their throat. You looked up to see him standing there, his eyes at the ground, holding a to-go box. His voice was less harsh than a few moments ago but just as deep and unkind, “Here’s a box for your food, sorry for the disturbance. It’s on the house today but you should probably go.” You took the box saying nothing more than a quiet thank you, packed the food and left.

If only you had just gone home after work, or even picked another place to eat, you would have been able to avoid all of that. Now you are laying in your bed filled with curiosity, wanting to know why they were so quick to react so defensively towards the other group.

What else makes him vocal? Why was he usually so uninvolved and cold? What would have happened if Suho didn’t stop him? Is he always like that when he takes control of that kind of situation? When else does he like to take control? What's he like when he's actually happy? Your thoughts stopped. Why would I want to know that? It’s not like I could be attracted to him now. What am I thinking? He was ice cold and cares for no one ever. Trying to talk yourself out of these sudden feelings.

You wanted to just ignore your thoughts and go to sleep, but your mind started to wander again. Sure he was extremely good looking, with his heart-shaped lips and those dark round eyes. The way his voice changed, and the flash of danger in his eyes. The way he reacted when Shownu winked at me. But why? You started to remember the way he acted before you left. Why did he just stare at the ground? Is he shy? Was he embarrassed, because of what happened?

That’s when you remembered you really didn’t pay for the food and started to feel bad for it, “Ugh, I should’ve at least offered still,” you said aloud to yourself. “Alright, tomorrow I’ll go back just to pay for my food,” clearly lying to yourself knowing that wasn’t the only reason, “it wasn’t their fault and the food was amazing.” Being somewhat satisfied with this plan, you hoped you would be able to just sleep off this weird sudden attraction and that would be it. But would you really be able to?

But like Roadhog, she wouldn’t have shielding capabilities, but be kind of like a mix between Roadhog and D.Va, with an Exo-suit/mech big enough to body-block other team members and an ability that can regenerate health based on enemy fire. And if she took enough damage you could pop her out of it. She’d be very protective of Rei because Rei’s so exposed flying around out there.

>Phospho was previously a combatant in the scrapyard and a hardcore devotee of Wrecking Ball. She and Rei would meet when Rei rescues her during a mission in the outback.

 Rei: Okay that was a pretty serious blow to the head you took, so try and stay awake for me, okay?

Phospho: Psh. I had it handled...You don’t need to come--come swooping in all ‘ooooh look at me. I’ve got wings and tits and eyebrows.’

Rei: ‘Wings and tits and eyebrows?’

Phospho: Why’re there six of you?

Rei: Just the one. You’re concussed.

>Of course, growing up in Junkertown, Phospho would grow up with a lot of anti-omnic sentiment. She would try to unlearn it for Rei’s sake, but meeting Zenyatta for the first time would probably be awkward.

Memories of The Alhambra: Initial Thoughts

I just finished episode 1 and 2 of Memories of the Alhambra and had a pretty strong reaction. Wait for it...(you know what’s coming if you know me ;-)

Did Netflix help fund this show, or did they just buy the rights? The quality is really amazing - it’s a very high end show, even for TVN. 

I love shows with fantasy/sci-fi elements so this one is right up my alley. I didn’t know the premise and was very surprised when it took the video game turn. They do a little make-believe science and I’m not sure it won’t fall apart later but that’s ok.

I’m so glad they’ve mixed comedic elements into a premise that reads a bit serious. The scenes of the crappy room in the hostel and Yoo Jin-Woo going back and forth losing his battles and getting that dang sword again and again were super fun. More of that please!

On the whole I’m really intrigued by the premise, the missing EXO cutie, the way the game works, and possibly the Westworld situation we might have on our hands.

....and here it comes:

Park Shin Hye & Hyun Bin: I’m really confused by this casting. I love PSH and I honestly think Hyun Bin is doing a great job playing a total asshole, but I cannot see them together as a romantic couple. Is it the age gap? The monster of a person Yoo Jin-Woo is? I can’t put my finger on it but I’m not excited to see them together. I mean, he would have to do 100% personality change for him to deserve her. Since I love romance I’ll of course give it a chance but I have my doubts.

Speaking of Monsters: Shout Out to Yoo Jin-Woo for being the world’s biggest dick. Like, he’s your typical K-drama CEO rich dude, but with a bunch of added icky qualities, making him very hard to care about: 

He has no respect for anyone around him (ramen dude, bar owner, hostel lady, his assistant) and thinks he can prance around anywhere and take up space and use public property without owing an explanation to anyone (because he thinks he’s better than everyone)

He throws money at every problem (paying the bar people to use the bathroom as if they obviously would love the money instead of going home for the day. He doesn’t even really ask - he just hands that dude a wad of cash) and he offers to buy the hostel and the writers are like “YES SHE WOULD LOVE THAT THANK YOU SIR YOU ARE A HERO.”

He never sincerely apologizes. When he realizes the owner is the EXO cutie’s sister, he pretends to be nice instead of BEING NICE. When Jung Hee-Joo meets him for the chat at the end of episode two, she does most of the apologizing. I’m like “girl STAAAP.” 

He says horrible things to his first wife (regardless of what happened, relationships break up. She’s not a DEMON dude, clearly she seems really passive AND she had to be married to YOU. Now she’s married to another jerk. I don’t know where this plot will go but I don’t like how she was treated) and to his ex-wife and Hee-Joo, he says horrible things about his 2nd wife. Like YOU married her my man! She deserves alimony don’t you know? The writer is a women but I think there’s some deep misogyny at play....

I don’t have to like the lead guy’s personality to enjoy a show and it’s definitely worth a watch. In fact it’s interesting when the writers make a character unlikeable. BUT, I do need him to be held accountable for his behavior in some way, and I’m worried that won’t happen?
