This component was loose and hitting the back of a Toyota Corolla’s exhaust. As a result, the driver was hearing a loud rattling noise while the car was running.

5.) Invidia
Starting off with number 5, I’m picking Invidia.
I mainly picked invidia because number 1, I like the sound, but number 2, Invidia has some deep ties to the Z platform. I know so many people that ran the invidia gemini on their 350’s or 370z’s. So it’s only right to bring it back for this new version of the Z car. Invidia knows that we’re constantly looking for ways to get more power from our motors without having to crack open the block. It also doesn’t hurt that they use high quality materials that improve performance while looking so cool. Invidia manufactures their exhaust systems specifically for each application to guarantee precise fitment and power gains. Invidia’s catback exhaust systems are designed specifically to improve performance, they achieve this by reducing bends in the exhaust system and using larger diameter piping. The reduced restriction also gives your vehicle a more aggressive tone and makes the 400z less trumpety than its predecessors. This also improves throttle response, torque, horsepower and the overall driving experience. I like invidia, you like invidia, we all like invidia.
4.) Armytrix
Number 4 we have Armytrix. We used to have a New Z and this was one of the exhaust that we installed on it. This was a great exhaust, it fit perfectly when we were installing it, and it also sounds, spectacular. It’s not the loudest exhaust by any means, but thats the point, you want sound quality, not volume. If you want volume, Home Depot has a sale going on right now for metal tubes. This system from Armytrix will increase power, reduce weight, and improve sound. It’s a valvetronic system, which is nice, and it delivers more power, especially in the low and mid rev range, the effect on the sound is significant, adding a deep resonant sporty sound, but at the same time neutralizes those annoying frequencies and drone in the most critical rpm range. ARMYTRIX’s exhaust systems differ from other brand’s systems with their unique “Throttle Pedal Sensor and Engine RPM Signal Auto Functions”. With this technology, ARMYTRIX gives you a better launch without losing backpressure, by automatically closing the valves at low rpm. When your car is driving at high speeds, the valves will automatically open to increase air flow for better performance (hp & torque gained) and sound. With this exhaust, you can also set your own timing for valves to automatically open and close by engine rpm and how deep you’re mashing on the gas pedal. It’s a great option for your Z, and i highlight recommend it.
3.) Tomei
Number 3 was a toss up, I’m ranking this one here cause it’s controversial, but hey, I love the drama. So number 3 i am putting a Single exit exhaust from Tomei.
In the true spirit of the Z, we had to add at least one single exit. Honestly, i really like single exit, but i know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. Basically every jdm car i see or want, i picture it with a single exit. It’s good vibes, makes it feel like the 90’s when life was easier (before i was born) Known for their commitment to quality since 1968, Tomei has built a reputation for creating high-performance parts that cater to enthusiasts and racers. Let me list off a couple bullet points for you.

Number 2 is our boys over at MAPerformance.
MAP’s catback exhaust is the ultimate performance upgrade for your Nissan Z. Made with high quality stainless steel, the exhaust is built to last and withstand even the toughest driving conditions. This is so much larger than the stock exhaust, i don’t even know how they fit it in there, but they did. MAPerformance also designed this to be a simple install. You can use all the original hooks and flanges if you want or you can get a new set. Speaking from experience, this is actually a decently easy exhaust to install. Granted we did have a lift which was nice, but for you weekend warriors, it should be fairly quick. We love what the guys over at MAPerformance are doing, a solid brand in the heartland of America. 1.) AWE
And number 1, we have AWE.. AWE has 2 different options for this system. You can go with the Touring edition which is going to be better for daily driving or if you live in suburbia. Or you can go with the track edition
WHICH IS MEANT FOR THE TRACK. We installed both and the track edition definitely took the cake. However, you can get the track and touring exhaust and swap them whenever you want. We did a video where we timed how fast we could swap it, and it was like 8 minutes each side. Very easy. We 100% got the most compliments on the Z with this exhaust. The track system is a dual full 3 inch Cat Back that promises not just performance but also an exhilarating sound that will turn heads as you cruise down the road. One of the standout features on this exhaust is its precision-engineered X-pipe, which works in harmony with robust resonators to deliver a clean yet exotic sound. I used to be in a Z group chat when we had this car, and everyone in there was ABOUT the difference in sound, especially during mid-range acceleration and deceleration. Again, it’s not just about volume, ita about sound quality. And AWE delivered. In terms of performance, the AWE Track Edition has been dyno-proven to provide gains of up to +6 horsepower and +14 lb-ft of torque at the wheels when paired with factory downpipes.
