i don't know if you're still doing the 'prompt 2.0' thing but!!! if you're, can you do something with Yuta and prompts 11&46? (if you're not doing it anymore just ignore me!! btw, you write so well i am so deep in love with your stories :,))

This is honestly one of my favorite drabbles i have written so far! I hope you guys enjoy it ^~^Also, thank you!

Yuta stared at you in revelation as soon as his tired mind comprehended your request. “I’m sorry,” he let out. “But what?”

You pouted at him, tugging onto his sleeves as you two stood in front of the restaurant you had recently finished eating at. “Accompany me,” you ordered. “Please?”

“To where? You know, if you’re getting all desperate like this it seems like it’s a formal party,” he commented risibly.

A shy blush crept onto your face; he figured you out within a second. Of course it was a formal party, what else would it be? Your gaze averted from his as you waited for his response, hoping it would be in any form of agreement.

“So what is it?” he questioned. “A cocktail party? A dinner party?”

You shook your head, shrugging off his guesses.

Yuta raised an eyebrow, puzzled. “A wedding?” he asked as if it was a jest. Yuta started to chuckle at his assumption, stuck in the belief that such an event would never be in the picture. Though, the moment his gaze casted downwards to your shying figure, his jaw dropped, your expression confirming his suspicions.

“Oh no,” he let out.

You nodded, begging him one last time. “My friend, Taeyong, is getting married in a few days and my friend can no longer attend with me. Yuta, I want you to accompany me.”

“To a wedding.”

“To a wedding,” you confirmed.

Yuta stared at you in disbelief. He soared through the clouds of thought that surrounded his head until he formed a response. Your request was so abrupt, absolutely out of the blue, and he had no time to properly think of a reply—not that you were going to take ‘no’ as an answer. Yuta’s lips were pressed into a thin line as he continued to gawk at your being, and as if that was the final step, gawking at the sparkles in your eyes that silently begged for him to attend, he gave in.

“Fine,” he breathed. “We might as well pretend to be a couple while we’re at it.”

You laughed at his comment, swatting his shoulder. “Dream on, that’s not necessary.”

You and Yuta began to walk down the streets, his heart kicking up its pace as he remained by your side. It was always hidden, an extremely concealed undertow, but Yuta had a few feelings for you since day one. Throughout the entire walk of you filling in him with the date, location, and all of the sort, he was not able to think of anything else but you—at the wedding. He wondered what dress you were going to wear, if you would be more beautiful as you were now—and he would be matching with your resplendent apparel.

Aching, he shook the thoughts out of his head. He kept on reminding himself that this was a simple request and you meant nothing of the sort when you asked him to accompany you; after all, he was filling in for your friend.

But as if the intoxicating thoughts were inescapable, they forever prodded at his brain. Yuta sighed. Maybe it was time for him to make a move—his chance to make his feelings out in the open.

There were only a few days before the upcoming day. Yuta spent it shopping for formal attire to wear, and he had to deal with your pestering calls throughout the entire duration. Every time his phone rang he hoped it was you—and it was, only to question him about the wedding and nothing more. He raked a hand through his hair in a frustrated manner, despising himself for ever letting such thoughts or hopeful aspirations flood his mind.

And soon, without the pesters ceasing, the day had arrived within a dream. You and Yuta drove to the location of the wedding in a hurry, barely making it on time for the whole ceremony, and after parking the two of you swiftly rushed inside and found your seats. You and your friend were a giggling mess, and it was not until you realized the short distance between you two to realize how stunning each other appeared.

With Yuta elegantly clad in a suit—an outfit that was rare for him to even stick himself in formal attire—and it seemed as if it was tailored to perfection, drawing out his flawless elements completely. You scrutinized him, from his hair to his appearance, and how he looked as a whole. Frankly, he cleaned up nicely for the event. If Yuta dressed like this the first day you met him, you swore you would fall for him within an instant. Your eyes widened at your thought and you shook your head—there was no way.

He only looked incredible in a formal suit and nothing more, right…?

To be fair, Yuta had the same thoughts running through his mind about you. In a navy blue dress you had bought months prior to the event, hair styled neater than usual—you gave the appearance of a divine being, and all he wanted to do was linger by your side. He was right from the start: you truly were beautiful to the core, and no matter what outfit you wore.

“You look nice,” he commented.

You smiled at his compliment, thanking him. Soon, the wedding had began, causing you and Yuta to erupt in childish laughter.

You and Yuta watched the bride make her way down the aisle, soon joining your friend, Taeyong, by the alter. They were both grinning hopefully, genuinely—and as if there was no such thing as negativity in the world. It was a pristine moment that was constructed to perfection, from the outdoor area of the wedding, surrounded completely by fresh greenery and the brilliant blue sky above. All eyes were on them, except for Yuta’s—whose eyes were on you.

The classical music that filled the quietude of the situation was nothing more than background tunes to the cinematic view Yuta had of you. He was not able to take his eyes off you and how stunning you appeared, despite an event of a lifetime unfolding before him. He thought he would be able to focus on the wedding or even greet a few attendees next to him, but all he was capable of doing was sneaking glances at your face, figure—everything.

And that lasted for the majority of the wedding ceremony.

At times, you felt his gaze fall onto you but you always brushed it to the side. It made your cheeks tinge with pink; if anyone were to question your flustered face you would blame it on the blush you wore, as if it would be a reasonable excuse. It made you shift in ponder, why Yuta continued to stare at you.

It was not until he made it clear he was staring you down for you to comment, “You’re paying more attention to me than the actual wedding.”

“I can’t help it,” he said with an airy laugh. You looked at him, studying his soft expression. A gentle smirk graced his face and the silence the two of you shared was serene at the least. “You’re beautiful.”

You rolled your eyes, pushing off the comment under the tab of a friendly compliment. “Tell that to your future wife,” you jested, pushing him to the side. Yuta swallowed his breath, nervous and uneasy as you continued to watch the wedding take place. It seemed as if everything had occurred within a blink of an eye, for the two lovers are already exchanging vows and promising each other a positive eternity. You watched the loving couple admirably; you pondered when your day would arrive, the day you would find a man who would be willing to love al of you completely.

A small smile tugged at your lips at you fantasized, glimmers in your eyes signaling a never-ending hope. “Alright, (y/n),” you heard Yuta say. His voice was merely a whisper and he inched closer to you, proximity no longer a word in his bank. “You’re beautiful,” he repeated.

Startling at his words, you pushed him away with more force. “Y-Yuta!” you stammered. “What are you thinking? Are you just trying to get a reaction out of me? I mean thanks, but seriously? I just—hey, are you even listening to me?”

Yuta had a cheeky grin dancing at his expression the more you badgered on him to stop. There was a hint of amusement he had retrieved, fractions of joy from watching your face tinge with coral hues. Of course, Yuta saw your plethora of questions as his premier chance. “I’m sorry, what were you saying?” he questioned you, tilting his head as if it would aid him in deciphering your spat inquiries. God, if it was not for the way you turned your head away from him, shielding the blush on your face with the back of your hand, and if the eye contact was held for a split second more, then Yuta would not had been able to voice his honest thoughts. But he continued, “I keep getting lost in your eyes.”

Now on your part, if the pronouncement of marriage was not taking place then you would shoot out of your chair and bolt for the exit. Rather than being lodged at a crossroads on what to do or how to react, you were stuck, like a firefly in a glass jar that struggled to be set free. “Nakamoto, you really are something else.”

“And so are you,” he fought back. “Aren’t you an angel or something?”

You smiled over your shoulder—it was a guilty pleasure to relish in his comments, and they never ceased. What truly has gotten into Yuta lately? Your friend was always a flirt, but he was never a flirt towards you. Of all emotions you could feel from the whirl you actually felt drawn towards Yuta, his honey-coated words charming you like no other.

It would be a lie for you to say that you were never attracted to Yuta; with the closeness that you two had shared it was an impossibility. Though, it was always best to brush the feeling’s towards the flirt off—though, with his recent comments and flirty gestures, it was truly unfeasible.

��Yuta,” you mumbled. “What’s gotten into you?”

But he did not reply. Yuta’s loving gaze continued to stare through your eyes. Blinking would mean he missed a split second of your radiating beauty, and he wanted to capture it. Honestly, Yuta was at a loss for words. He did not have a response to your question, for he truly did not know what was running through his mind that kept on stippling sweet words to you. Perhaps it was the way you looked in that navy blue dress, or the way the necklace he gave you years ago (that you kept, to his surprise) dangled from your neck, or your lips that were coated in candy shimmer. Whatever it was, he was spellbinded by your being.

“I don’t know,” he said with a breathy laugh. “I swear this wedding has some magic going on.”

You chuckled at his comment, your gaze fleeting him his star-filled eyes to the bright scene at the very front. “Well weddings are magical. Maybe it’s the food, eager people, or even the music. Wow, it would be a dream to play piano at a wedding—Yuta, let me play at yours, okay?”

You pounded a fist at his shoulder, gawking at him with effervescent eyes. A gleaming smile had painted on your face, making Yuta’s insides heat up. His heart pounded erratically at the sight, like a raging creature that wanted to be set free from its cage, and his hands began to quiver. His lips parted as you looked at him with high aspirations; it would truly be a dream come true to play piano at a wedding, especially your closest friend’s, and Yuta knew that. But of course, knowing Yuta, he had other plans.

“No,” he dejected.

Your eyebrows crossed together as you forced a frown to droop on your expression. “Really?”

Yuta nodded, an uneasy breath leaving his parted lips. “Instead, stand next to me.”

Your eyes blew wide at his comment. The amount of time it took for you to process his words was immense and it felt as if eternity had flown by before you were able to properly react. Astonishment was the only factor that sketched on your face, and your reaction scared Yuta to the core. Your heart was beating rapidly, those similar to drummers in a marching band, and heat flew to your face within a second. It took a while, but you finally found a response to his comment.

The corners of your lips quirked up into a smile and your reply was ready to leave your mouth, a whimsical harmony waiting to meet Yuta’s ears, but the second you opened your mouth to speak there was a sudden eruption of cheers that rippled throughout the room.

It caught both your and Yuta’s attention, and you noticed that the newly wedded couple had their lips pressed against one another, celebrating their marriage.

You smiled at Yuta, your response still knotted in your throat. From the looks of it there was no need for you to voice out your thoughts. Amidst the sacred kiss that couple at the front was sharing, the look you and Yuta had exchanged meant just as much, no words needed.

And it was in that moment when Yuta placed his palm over yours, gripping it in a newfound veneration.

i hope this is okay ;; i just woke up and was torn on what au to write so i chose one randomly and i hope it went well ;;;;

During spring days the blossom of a plethora of flowers would typically be at their peak. It was the only reason why the fresh season was an easy favorite: the new sights, excursions of nature commenced. It was also the time of year where the kingdom’s Spring festival would occur, and its purpose was to celebrate the welcome of new beginnings and upbringings. Every year you looked forward to the festival, for it was one of your favorite events held within your kingdom, and this upcoming year was to be no different.

Well, you planned for it to not be divergent than the rest. Your family had other plans they never informed you about until then.

It was a given that you were the heir to the family kingdom; you qualified to take the throne; you were of maturity. Right, during the Spring festival kingdoms would announce who the princess has chosen to marry and hold upon the weight of the kingdom with. The thought of that future requirement never rang in your mind, almost as if the day would never come—like it was nonexistent to you. But, standing amidst the thick air within the grand ballroom of your castle, you heard the words you thought you would never hear.

With an semi-familiar face standing before you, your face contorted in disgust and annoyance. It was the prince from the eastern kingdom—the section of the continent that your own kingdom had a horrible impression of. What was him and his family doing in your own sector, of all places? Then, it dawned upon you.

Word went around that prince like a wildfire, and they typically was not pretty. War stories and parades of this success would be the talk of each village—oh, and his disastrously handsome face.

Your father snapped you back to reality as you were too busy welling in your revulsion towards the prevailing prince; he called your name in a manner that made it seem like he was attempting to get your attention for aeons. With the obnoxious prince right in front of you, he probably was.

“(y/n),” your father called once more. “It is mid-summer and the springtime festival will occur the following year.”

“Oh gods…” you trailed off. Your eyes roamed the gargantuan ballroom; you searched for a distraction away from the living news before you.

“It is about time we discussed your marriage,” your father said with a breath. He puffed his chest out, high and mighty to make his authority prominent. You bit onto your tongue to hold a sour comment away, its bitterness dissipating into nothingness. You narrowed your gaze onto the looming crystal chandelier that hanged from the center, anticipating the announcement you were not able to fight back.

“This”—he held out an arm, guiding you to the noxious prince—“is Nakamoto Yuta. He will be your suitor, unannounced to the public until the spring festival.”

You emptily stared at your father, the annoyance sketched on your face and limpid to everyone’s eyes. “You’re kidding,” you let out. “I knew it would be in regards to the topic of… marriage, but I did not expect it to be with”—you caught a look at the prince, locking eyes with his own—“him of all people!”

Your parents exchanged a clueless glance, unable to see the issue. Surely they had heard of the stories of Prince Yuta as well, viewing it under a positive light. They would hear his war stories, relish in the victory he had brought the continent during critical periods—they had a positive image of the poisonous prince, and an optimistic outlook of your incoming future with him. Little did they know about the bitter sentiments you truly felt towards the man.

Yuta’s family appeared taken aback and your mother assured them by claiming it was your sour sense of humor. Yuta titled his head. “What’s so horrendous about me?” he asked innocently. “We have the strongest war forces, the—“

You cut him off before he was able to boast, “What about Prince Jaehyun? I actually get along with him and we see him often. He knows a lot about medical herbs and studies the history of our monarchs, he’s well educated.”

“Are you saying I’m not?” Yuta questioned.

“Or Prince Doyoung?” you continued your ramble. “He cares about his kingdom and those within the village. Can’t we choose one of my friends? Any one of them, but not…”

Yuta sighed. “How could a pretty face have such a sour personality?”

“Look who’s talking,” you bit back. “You and your out-of-proportion victory stories—”

“At least I have victory stories,” he interjected. “The only things I hear about you in my kingdom is how pretty, calm, and kind you are to everybody—which is boring, and apparently false. You have quite the mouth along with beauty. Do those come hand in hand?”

You crossed your eyebrows together; your insides heated up with a flame of fury, no longer wanting to put up with his petulant prods at you any longer. “At least what goes around about me is positive. You know, for a prince you aren’t very prince-like. Where’s the manners?”

“(y/n),” you father said in a calming voice. “You need to understand.”

You rolled your eyes and allowed your father to continue.

“The Nakamoto family does indeed have the strongest war forces, but that does not matter. It is the location of their kingdom and how it goes well with ours. If the two kingdoms were to combine then a greater influence would form, and each kingdom would come together to form multiple trade routes, which would aid both of us.”

You clenched your teeth at the information. Gods, he was not wrong. If the entire plan went on without fail then there would be no power to stop the combined kingdom forces. But... Prince Yuta—of all individuals? You would rather marry a peasant, if anything.

“Can’t we try that with Prince—“

“Listen up, princess,” Yuta chimed in and took a step closer to you. “You don’t get to pick and choose, alright? You’re stuck with me the way I’m stuck with you.”

His attitude disgusted you the way the sight of his face had. Your mind was not able to wrap around the fact that you had the time period from now to the spring festival to stick yourself by Yuta’s side. "You're telling me I have to deal with this brash man until... when?"

"Probably all of eternity," he informed nonchalantly, teasing you whilst testing the waters. He cocked his head as he broke the news out, an eyebrow raising in an authoritative manner. You groaned; there was a empty pit in your stomach that dragged your entire being down like a blackhole, and immense amount of dread was seeping out from its expanse. The prince read into your reaction, laughing and finding amusement.

You eyed him, giving him another stern look as you perused his features. With him laughing like a young child, he would mistakingly be read as an approachable, kind prince—one that you would be willing to come to know. Frankly, if he was feigning such a jocular persona half the time he would not appear all too bad—stray him away from you as well.

Yuta stop his fit of bubbly laughter and wiped the corner of his eyes with his index finger. He exchanged a mutual look with your father before locking eyes with your own again, assuring you of your worries in the worst possible way. "Don't worry, princess. You have your whole life to get to know me better."

"Might as well banish me from this kingdom..." you muttered.

Yuta laughed again and you were not able to help but adore the melodious tune emitting from a sour being—a sore contrast. You sighed and gave everything further thought.

On Spring days typically flowers would bloom, new sights and beginnings would commence—it was why the season was a simple favorite.Until then, it was nothing more but a dreadful time of the year that was followed with horrible forebodings.
